1 And the feast of the unleavened bread, which is called a Passover, was drawing near.

2 And the High-priests and the Scribes were seeking, how they might get rid of him; for they feared the people.

3 But Satan entered into Judas, him called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve;

4 and, departing, he conversed with the High-priests and Captains, as to how, unto them, he might deliver him up.
Eno Judas kah ano romwah phokhoh nyia Rangteenok apit nawa phokhoh loong jiinni Jisu ah mamet mokwaan korum angdoh se ah ih roongwaan kata.
5 And they rejoiced, and bargained with him to give him, silver;

6 and he freely consented, and began seeking a good opportunity for delivering him up, in the absence of a multitude, unto them.
Judas ih uh erah thang etta eno Jisu ah mih suh lajat thukthang ih neng suh marah pootdoh japjoh koh ang ih thunta.
7 Now the day of the unleavened bread a came, —on which it was needful to be sacrificing the passover.

8 And he sent forth Peter and John, saying—Go, and make ready, for us, the passover, that we may eat.
Pitar nyia Joon suh Jisu ih amet baat nyu ano daapkaatta: “Kah ansih no Khopui romhoon kuwaang phaksat ah ban khookham kah ansih.”
9 And, they, said unto him—Where wiliest thou, we should make ready?
“Maanah ban khookham kaat baat hali tih?” Nyi ih cheng nyuuta.
10 And, he, said unto them—Lo! when ye have entered into the city, there will meet you a man, bearing, an earthen-jar of water: follow him into the house into which he is entering.
Jisu ih ngaakbaatta, “Set samnuthung adoh wang ansih erah doh mih wasiit khamteng khap ah pi ano raaha rah chomui ansih. Erah wah ah marah nok adoh nop ah heh lilih ih roongwang ansih,
11 And ye shall say unto the master of the house—The teacher saith unto thee, where is the lodging, where, the passover, with my disciples, I may eat?
eno nok changte asuh baat ansih: ‘Nyootte ih liita, Nokmong ah marah ah nga liphante nyia ngah ih Khopui romhoon phaksat phaksah theng rah ah?’
12 And, he, unto you, will shew, a large upper room, spread: there, make ready.
Eno heh ih rangkhoh nah elongwah tongtheng thaatheng pan nokmong baat koh hansih, erah doh jaatrep ah ban khookham cho japtup ansih.”
13 And, departing, they found according as he had said unto them, and made ready the passover.
Eno kah nyu ano erah ni Jisu ih mamet baatta erah jun ih japtup nyuuta, eno Khopui romhoon kuwaang phaksat ah songwaang kah nyuuta.
14 And, when the hour arrived, he reclined, and the apostles with him.
Saapoot ah rookli ano, Jisu ih teebun ni heh kaamwah loong damdi roongtongta.
15 And he said unto them—I have greatly desired, to eat, this passover, with you before I suffer;
Heh ih neng suh baatta, “Ngah ih sen damdoh arah Khopui romhoon phaksat ah maang chamnaang kang doh room phaksat suh rapne ih ramlang!
16 For, I say unto you—In nowise shall I eat it, until it have been fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And, accepting a cup, giving thanks, he said—Take this, and divide among yourselves;
Eno Jisu ih lookkep ah toonpi ano, Rangte suh lakookmi jengkhaap ah jeng ano liita, “Arah sen chamchi nah pheejok an.
18 For, I say unto you—In nowise shall I drink henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until, the kingdom of God, shall come.
Ngah ih baat rumhala Rangte Hasong maang thokthok ngah ih aadowa ih arah kham ah takah jokkang.”
19 And, taking a loaf, he gave thanks, and brake, and gave unto them, saying—This is my body which in your behalf is being given: this, be ye doing, in remembrance, of me.
Erah lilih heh ih baanlo ah toonpi ano, Rangte suh lakookmi jengkhaap ah jeng ano, bunphiitta, eno neng suh koh rum ano liita, “Arah nga si, korumhala. Sen ih ngah toom samthun he ih korumhala.”
20 And—the cup, in like manner, after the taking of supper, saying—This cup, is the new covenant in my blood, which, in your behalf, is to be poured out.
Emamah phaksat lidi lookkep ah toon korum ano baatta, “Arah ah Rangte ena jengdang lookkep nga sih ih loop ha, erah sen raangtaan ih janla.”
21 Nevertheless, lo! the hand of him who is delivering me up, is with me upon the table.
“Enoothong, sok an! Mih wasiit nga jootkotte wah ah amadi nga damdi teebun ni roongtong hala!
22 Because, the Son of Man, indeed, according to what is marked out, goeth his way; nevertheless, alas! for that man through whom he is being delivered up.
Mina Sah abah Rangte ih mamet chung ha erah jun ih tek ah, enoothong heh jootkotte ah raang ih tumthan ethih ang ah!”
23 And, they, began to be enquiring together, among themselves, as to which, then, it could be, from among them, who, this thing, was about to perpetrate!
Eno neng jaachiichi ni chengmui rumta eme reete ah o lek ang koji eah.
24 And it came to pass that there was, a rivalry also, among them, as to which of them seemed to be greater [than the rest].
Heliphante loong ah neng dung ni Elong thoon o ah lek angkoji ih daanmui rumta.
25 And, he, said unto them—The kings of the nations, lord it over them, and, they who wield authority over them, benefactors, are called.
Jisu ih neng suh baat rumta, “Rangnak mina loong luungwang ih neng noksong ah neng chaan nawa ih panha, eno erah pante loong ah ih neng jaat ah ‘Mina loong Joonte et chaang rumha.’
26 But, ye, not so! On the contrary—the greater among you, Let him become as, the younger, and, he that governeth, as, he that ministereth,
Enoothong sen bah erah loong likhiik lah ang theng; erah nang ih bah sengdung ni elongthoon angte wah ah loongtang nang ih ehin thoon likhiik jaatjaat angtheng, erah dam ih phansiitte ah laksuh ang arah likhiik jaatjaat angtheng.
27 For which is greater—he that reclineth? or he that ministereth? Is not he that reclineth? But, I, am, in your midst, as he that ministereth,
Elongthoon ah o ah, phaksat satte kaangkookla ah tama epheekotte rah ah? Marah ekaangkook ela ju ang ah. Enoothong sengdung ni bah epheekotte wah ah ngah.
28 Ye, however, are they who have remained throughout with me in my temptations;

29 And, I, covenant unto you—as my Father hath covenanted unto me—a kingdom,

30 That ye may eat and drink, at my table, in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging, the twelve tribes of Israel.

31 Simon! Simon! lo! Satan, hath claimed you, to sift as wheat;
“Simoon, Simoon! Boichaat uh! Soitaan ih sen phate suh chaan echoh ela, ese ah ethih nawa danjat suh ah, phek phekte ih raan nawa hephaang kadande arah likhiik ah.
32 But, I, have entreated for thee, that thy faith may not fail. And, thou, once thou hast turned, strengthen thy brethren.
Enoothong, Simoon, an raangtaan ih rangsoom esoom et hang, an tuungmaang nawa ladat raangtaan ih ah. Eno an nga reeko nah ngaak ho doh, anpho anno loong ah chosok etheng.”
33 But, he, said unto him—Lord! with thee, am I, ready, both into prison and unto death, to be going.

34 And, he, said: I tell thee, Peter—A cock will not crow this day, until, thrice, thou deny that thou knowest me.
“Ngah ih baat hala, Pitar,” Jisu ih liita, niikja an ih ngah suh tajatkang ih lekjom maang jengjeng woh taweeka ang ah.”
35 And he said unto them—When I sent you forth, without purse or satchel or sandals, of anything, came ye short? And, they, said—Of nothing!
Eno Jisu ih heliphante loong suh chengta, “Ngah ih sen loong ah ngun muh, khaak muh nyia lakhoop muh kaat thuk rum taha adi, tumjih tumjih di bootbe nih etan?” “Tabootbeeti,” neng ih ngaakbaat rumta.
36 And he said unto them—But, now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, in like manner also, a satchel; and, he that hath nothing, let him sell his mantle, and buy a sword!
Jisu ih liita, “Enoothong amadi, o mina di ngun nyia khaak jeela rah ih ehui jaatjaat et an; lang apah amukte ih an samsong ah sang uno esiit than reh uh.
37 For I say unto you—This that is written, must needs be completed in me, —And, with lawless ones, was he reckoned; for, even that which concerneth me, hath, completion.
Tumeah ngah ih baat rum hala Rangteele ni nga tiit ah amet raangha, ‘Heh ah ehuh eleek mina et thiik ah,’ erah ah amiisak jaatjaat ih ang raaha, tumeah nga tiit mathan raangthiinta loong ah amiisak ih epun totoh ih ra hala.”
38 And, they, said—Lord, lo! two swords, here! And, he, said unto them—’Tis, enough!
Heliphante loong ah ih liita, “Sokthaak uh! Teesu, lang arah enyi je ah!” Heh ih ngaakbaatta. “Erah laaleh ang ah!”
39 And going out, he went, according to his custom, unto the Mount of Olives; and the disciples [also] followed him.
Jisu samnuthung dowa saahoh dowa likhiik ih dokkhoom ano, Olip Kong ni wangta; eno heh damdi heliphante loong nep roong wangta.
40 And, coming up to the place, he said unto them—Be praying, lest ye enter into temptation.

41 And, he, was torn from them about a stone’s throw; and, bending his knees, he began to pray,
Eno heh ah neng re nawa jong ih liipat theng than haloot ni kah ano heh lakudi tong ano rangsoomta.
42 saying—Father! if thou please, bear aside this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine, be accomplished.
“Ewah,” heh liita, “An thung ang ubah, nga chamjih rah an ih toonhaat ih weeuh. Enoothong nga thung jun lah angthang ih, an thung jun ju toom ang ah.”
43 And there appeared unto him a messenger from heaven, strengthening him, —

44 and, coming to be in an agony, more intensely, was he praying; and his perspiration became, as if great drops of blood, falling upon the ground.

45 And, arising from prayer, he came unto his disciples, and found them falling asleep by reason of their grief;

46 and he said unto them—Why are ye slumbering? Arise! and be praying, lest ye enter into temptation.
Heh ih neng suh liita, “Sen tume jup lan? Saat anno rangsoom an sen phate joonnaam nawa toom pui an.”
47 While yet he was speaking, lo! a multitude; and, he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them on, —and he drew near unto Jesus, to kiss him.
Jisu ih erah baat rum adi miloong ah dong taha, Judas, heliphante asih wanyi dung dowa esiit angta ah ih siit rum ano wang rum taha. Judas ah ra haano Jisu ah chupphakta.
48 But, Jesus, said to him—Judas! with a kiss, the Son of Man, dost thou deliver up?

49 And they who were about him, seeing what would be, said—Lord! shall we smite with the sword?

50 And a certain one from among them smote, the High-priest’s, servant, and took off his right ear.

51 But Jesus, answering, said—Let be—as long as this! …And, touching the ear, he healed him.

52 And Jesus said unto the High-priests, and Captains of the temple, and Elders, who had come against him—As against a robber, have ye come out, with swords and clubs?

53 Daily, was I with you, in the temple, and yet ye stretched not forth your hands against me! …But, this, is your hour, and the authority of darkness.
Ngah Rangteenok ni saarookwih sen damdam kah ang tahang adi sen ih ngah takah thaak joh tahe nih. Enoothong rangnak ih pan halan saapoot ah thok ehala, amadi sen tumjih reeraangjih ah erah saapoot ah chang ela.”
54 And, having arrested him, they led him away, and took him into the house of the High-priest; and, Peter, was following afar.
Neng ih Jisu ah khak ano Romwah phokhothoon nok ni siitwan rumta; eno Pitar ih haloot ni khoom ah ih neng lilih eta.
55 And, they having kindled up a fire in the midst of the court, and taken seats together, Peter was for sitting among them.

56 But, a certain maid-servant, seeing him seating himself towards the light, and looking steadfastly at him, said—This one also, was, with him.

57 But, he, denied, saying—I know him not, woman!

58 And, after a little, another, beholding him, said—Thou also, art, from among them. But, Peter, said—Man! I am not.

59 And, about one hour having passed, a certain other, began stoutly to insist, saying—Of a truth, this one also, was with him; for indeed he is, a Galilaean.

60 But Peter said—Man! I know not what thou art saying! And, instantly while yet he was speaking, a cock crew.

61 And the Lord turned, and looked at Peter; and Peter was put in mind of the declaration of the Lord, how he had said to him—Before, a cock, crow this day, thou wilt deny me thrice!

62 [And, going forth outside, he wept bitterly.]

63 And, the men who held him bound, kept mocking him, with blows;

64 and, blindfolding him, questioned him, saying—Prophesy! which is he that smote thee?

65 and, many other things, with profane speech, were they saying unto him.

66 And, when it became day, the Eldership of the people was gathered together—both High-priests and Scribes, —and they led him away into their high-council, saying—If, thou, art the Christ, tell us!

67 But he said unto them—If I should tell, you, in nowise would ye believe,
“Baat he,” “An ah Kristo tam ah?” Neng ih chengta. Heh ah ngaakjengta, “Ngah ih baat rum koha bah sen ih tabaam hanpi kan;
68 And, if I should put questions, in nowise would ye answer;
eno ngah ih echeng et rum koha bah sen ih tabaam ngaakbaat ri.
69 But, henceforth, shall the Son of Man be seated on the right hand of the power of God.
Adowa ih bah Mina Sah ah Rangte Elongthoon tongla jaawako adoh roongtong ah.”
70 And they all said—Thou, then, art the Son of God? And, he, unto them said—Ye, say [it], —because, I, am.

71 And, they, said—What, further, need have we, of witness? We ourselves, have heard it from his mouth.
