< Luke 13 >

1 Now there were present some, in that very season, bringing tidings to him, concerning the Galilaeans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
Gene malangago bhandunji bhana gubhaabhalanjilenje a Yeshu ga bhandunji bha ku Galilaya bhabhulegwenje na a Pilato na minyai jabhonji gujianganyishe na minyai ja bhannyama bhabhonji bha bhishila.
2 And, answering, he said unto them—Suppose ye, that, these Galilaeans, had become, sinners beyond all the Galilaeans, because, these things, they have suffered?
Na bhalabho a Yeshu gubhaabhushienje, “Punkuganishiyanga bhene Bhagalilayabho bhashinkukolanga yambi kupunda Bhagalilaya bhananji, nkali bhaabhulagwanje shana nneyo?
3 Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in like manner, shall perish.
Nngabha nneyo, ikabheje nkali mmanganya nkaipetanje, nneyo peyo shintitimilanje.
4 Or, those eighteen, upon whom fell the tower in Siloam, and slew them, suppose ye that, they, had become, debtors, beyond all the men who were dwelling in Jerusalem?
Bhuli, bhene kumi na nane bhagwililwenje na nnala ku Shiloamu niwanganga bhala, punkuganishiyanga kuti bhashinkukolanga yambi kupunda bhandunji bhowe bhatamanganaga ku Yelushalemu?
5 Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in the same way, shall perish.
Ngunakummalanjilanga nngabha, ikabheje nkali mmanganya nkaipetanje, nneyo peyo mmowe shintitimilanje.”
6 And he went on to speak this parable: —A certain man had, a fig-tree, planted in his vineyard, and he canto seeking fruit therein, and found none.
Kungai a Yeshu gubhaatanjilenje aluno lutango luno, “Bhandu bhamo bhashinkukola nkongo gwa ntini munngunda gwabho gwa mishabhibhu. Gubhapite kupinga bhakakabhe iepo yakwe, ikabheje kuguimana gwangaogola tini nkali jimo.
7 And he said unto the vine-dresser—Lo! three years, I come, seeking fruit in this fig-tree, and find none. Cut it down! Why doth it make, even the round useless?
Bhai, gubhammalanjile ntumishi jwabho, ‘Lola! Kwa yaka itatu natendaga kwiya kabha iepo ya gwene nkongogu, nangapata shoshowe. Guushele! Kwa nndi unaangabhanya litaka gwayoyo?’
8 And, he, answering, saith unto him—Sir! let it alone this year also, until such time as I dig about it, and throw in manure, —
Ikabheje ntumishi jula gwabhajangwile, ‘Mmakulungwa, namwaka tuuleshe, niguolele liimbo na niutajile mbolela.
9 and if it may bear fruit for the future; …but, otherwise, certainly, thou shalt cut it down.
Ibhaga pashaka uogolaga iepo, shammbone, ibhaga lepe, bhai shiguushele.’”
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues, on the Sabbath.
Lyubha limo lya Pumulila a Yeshu bhatendaga jiganya nshinagogi jimo.
11 And lo! a woman, having a spirit of weakness eighteen years, —and was bowed together, and unable to lift herself up, at all.
Penepo bhashinkupagwa bhakongwe bhamo bhaaliji na shigongo kwa yaka kumi na nane, pabha ashinkwaatama lioka jwangali jwa mmbone. Nngongo gwabho gwashinkupinda, bhakakombolaga kujinuka nkali kashoko.
12 And, seeing her, Jesus called her and said to her—Woman! thou art loosed from thy weakness, —
A Yeshu bhakaabhoneje gubhaashemile, gubhaabhalanjile, “A mama nnamile shilwele shenu.”
13 and laid on her his hands; and, instantly, she was made straight again, and began glorifying God.
Gubhaabhishile makono bhakongwe bhala, shangupe nngongo gwabho guugolweshe, gubhainiye a Nnungu.
14 But the synagogue-ruler, answering, being greatly displeased that, on the Sabbath, Jesus had healed, began saying unto the multitude—Six days, there are, in which men ought to get their work done; On them, therefore, come and be healed, and, not on the day of rest.
Ikabheje bhakulungwa bha shinagogi gubhatumbele pabhaa Yeshu bhashikunnamya mundu Lyubha lya Pumulila. Kwa nneyo gubhalubhalanjile lugwinjili lwa bhandunji lula, “Nkwetenje mobha shita ga kamula liengo. Bhai, nnjiyangane gene mobhago kunnamiywanje ilwele yenunji, ikabheje nnajiyangane lyubha lya Pumulila.”
15 The Lord answered him, and said—Hypocrites! Doth not, each one of you, on the Sabbath, loose his ox or ass from the manger, and, leading it away, give it drink?
Penepo Bhakulungwa gubhajangwile, “Mmanganya mmagulumba! Munkumbi gwenunji gani akananng'ugule ng'ombe eu mbunda jwakwe nshitundu ampeleshe kung'wa mashi, lyubha lya Pumulila?
16 But, this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo! eighteen years, was there not a needs-be that she should be loosed from this bond, on the day of rest?
Nnaino, apano apali jwankongwe jwa shipinga sha a Bhulaimu apotekwaga naka lishetani kwa yaka kumi na nane. Bhuli, nngabha sha mmbone kunngopola shitabho shakwe lyubha lya Pumulila?”
17 And, as he was saying, these, things, all who had been setting themselves against him were being put to shame; and, all the multitude, were rejoicing over all the glorious things which were being brought to pass by him.
A Yeshu bhakabheleketeje genego, ashaamagongo ajabho bhowe gubhakwetenje oni ikabheje bhananji guyaanonyelenje kwa kaje kwa ligongo lya indu ibhatendile ila.
18 He went on to say, therefore—Whereunto, is the kingdom of God, like? And, whereunto, shall I liken it?
A Yeshu gubhabhushiye, “Upalume gwa a Nnungu ulandana na nndi? Shiniulandanye na nndi?
19 It is, like, unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree, and, the birds of heaven, lodged amongst its branches.
Malinga mbeju ja aladali jili jishoko kaje jatolile mundu jumo nipanda munngunda gwakwe, gujimelile nibha nkongo. Ijuni guishenjile maui nnyambi yakwe.”
20 And, again, he said—Whereunto, shall I liken the kingdom of God?
Kabhili gubhabhushiye, “Shiniulandanye na nndi Upalume gwa a Nnungu?
21 It is, like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until, the whole, was leavened.
Malinga ngedule shibhatolile bhakongwe bhamo nianganya na utandi madebhe gabhili na nushu kungai utandi gowe guukwebhile.”
22 And he was journeying on, city by city and village by village, and making, progress, unto Jerusalem.
A Yeshu gubhapite na mwanja gwabho kuloya ku Yelushalemu bhalipita mwilambo na mwijiji, bhalipita jiganya.
23 And one said unto him—Lord! are they, few, who are being saved? And, he, said unto them—
Mundu jumo gwabhabhushiye, “Mmakulungwa, bhuli, bhandunji bhapinga tapulwanga ni bhashokope?”
24 Be striving to enter through the narrow door; for, many, I say unto you, will seek to enter, and will not be able, —
A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, Ntumbilanje kaje kujinjila kupitila nnango gwa nshoko, pabha ngunakummalanjilanga, bhandu bhabhagwinji shibhalinganje kujinjila ikabheje bhakakombolanga.
25 when once the householder shall rouse himself, and lock the door, and ye begin to stand, outside, and to knock at the door, saying—Lord! open to us; and he shall answer and say unto you—I know you not, whence ye are.
Shigaishe mobha bhayene nyumba shibhajime niugala nnango. Mmanganya nkupinga jimangana palanga nitandubha kuolishiya nninkutinji, Mmakulungwa ntuugulile nnango. Ikabheje bhenebho shibhannjangulanje, ngakummanyanga mmanganya wala kunkoposhelenje.
26 Then, will ye begin to say—We did eat and drink in thy presence, and, in our broadways, thou didst, teach;
Numbe mmanganya shintandubhanje kwaalugulila, twatendaga kulya na ng'wa pamo na mmwe na mwatendaga jiganya mwilambo yetu.
27 And he will speak, saying unto you—I know not whence ye are; Depart from me, all workers of unrighteous—
Ikabheje na bhalabho shibhaajangulanje, “Ngakummanyanga mmanganya wala kunkukoposhelanga, nshokangane mmanganya mmowe mmalebhanga.”
28 There, will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, as soon as ye see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and, yourselves, being thrust forth outside.
Penepo ni pushipingapagwa shililo na kutauna meno, pushimwabhonanje a Bhulaimu na a Ishaka na a Yakobho na ashinkulondola bhowe bha a Nnungu bhalinginji mu Upalume gwa a Nnungu, ikabheje mmanganya nnokololwenje palanga!
29 And they shall have come from east and west, and from north and south, and be made recline in the kingdom of God.
Bhapinga kwiyangana bhandunji kukoposhela mmbali yowe ya shilambolyo nitama pa shalya shaabhishilwenje mu Upalume gwa a Nnungu.
30 And lo! there are, last, who shall be, first, and there are, first, who shall be, last;
Nnole, bhapali bhalinginji bha kumpelo shibhabhanganje bha kundandubho na bha kundandubho shibhabhanganje bha kumpelo.
31 In that very hour, came near certain Pharisees, saying unto him, Go forth, and be journeying hence, because, Herod, desireth to slay thee.
Gene malangapego, Mapalishayo na bhandunji bhana gubhaajendelenje a Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Nnjabhule apano nnjende mmbali jina, pabha bhakulungwa a Elode bhanapinga kummulaga.”
32 And he said unto them—Go and tell this fox, Lo! I am casting out demons, and, cures, am I finishing, to-day, and to-morrow, —
A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje, “Nnjendangane nkaalilugulilanje lyene lyananshetolyo nneino, ‘Lelo na malabhi shinjoye maoka na kwaalamyanga bhalwelenji na ntondo shimaliye liengo lyangu.’
33 and, on the third, I am to be made perfect. Nevertheless, I must needs, to-day, and tomorrow, and the following, be journeying on, because it is impossible that a prophet perish, outside Jerusalem.
Nkali nneyo, lelo na malabhi na ntondo, ngunapinjikwa nyende mwanja gwangu, pabha ikapinjikwa ankulondola bha a Nnungu bhabhulagwe kunyenje shilambo sha Yelushalemu.
34 Jerusalem! Jerusalem! she that slayeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! How often, have I desired to gather together thy children, like as a hen, her own brood, under her wings, —and ye did not desire!
“Ugwe Yelushalemu! Yelushalemu! Unakwabhulaganga ashinkulondola bha a Nnungu nikwaakomanga maganga bhatumilwenje kunngwako. Palingwa pumbinjile kwaagutamilanga bhana bhako pamo mbuti namwana jwa nnguku shakuti kwaagutamilanga bhana bhakwe mmapapiko gakwe, ikabheje gwangapinga.
35 Lo! your house is left to you. [And] I say unto you—In nowise shall ye see me, until ye say, —Blessed, is he that cometh in the name of the Lord!
Nnolanje! Shinneshelwanje ushubha nshilambo shenunji. Bhai, ngunakummalanjilanga, nkamonanga kabhili mpaka pushimmeleketanje kuti, ‘Bhakwete Mboka bhene bhakwiya kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa.’”
