Luke 11
1 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain place praying, as he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him—Lord! teach us to pray, as, John also, taught his disciples.
அநந்தரம்’ ஸ கஸ்மிம்’ஸ்²சித் ஸ்தா²நே ப்ரார்த²யத தத்ஸமாப்தௌ ஸத்யாம்’ தஸ்யைக: ஸி²ஷ்யஸ்தம்’ ஜகா³த³ ஹே ப்ரபோ⁴ யோஹந் யதா² ஸ்வஸி²ஷ்யாந் ப்ரார்த²யிதும் உபதி³ஷ்டவாந் ததா² ப⁴வாநப்யஸ்மாந் உபதி³ஸ²து|
2 And he said unto them—Whensoever ye are praying, say—Father! Hallowed be thy name, Come may thy kingdom,
தஸ்மாத் ஸ கத²யாமாஸ, ப்ரார்த²நகாலே யூயம் இத்த²ம்’ கத²யத்⁴வம்’, ஹே அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸ்வர்க³ஸ்த²பிதஸ்தவ நாம பூஜ்யம்’ ப⁴வது; தவ ராஜத்வம்’ ப⁴வது; ஸ்வர்கே³ யதா² ததா² ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாமபி தவேச்ச²யா ஸர்வ்வம்’ ப⁴வது|
3 Our needful bread, be giving us, day by day;
ப்ரத்யஹம் அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரயோஜநீயம்’ போ⁴ஜ்யம்’ தே³ஹி|
4 And forgive us our sins, for, even we ourselves, forgive every one indebted to us; And bring us not into temptation.
யதா² வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வாந் அபராதி⁴ந: க்ஷமாமஹே ததா² த்வமபி பாபாந்யஸ்மாகம்’ க்ஷமஸ்வ| அஸ்மாந் பரீக்ஷாம்’ மாநய கிந்து பாபாத்மநோ ரக்ஷ|
5 And he said unto them—Who from among you, shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him—Friend! supply me with three loaves,
பஸ்²சாத் ஸோபரமபி கதி²தவாந் யதி³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ கஸ்யசித்³ ப³ந்து⁴ஸ்திஷ்ட²தி நிஸீ²தே² ச தஸ்ய ஸமீபம்’ ஸ க³த்வா வத³தி,
6 forasmuch as, a friend of mine, hath come off a journey unto me, and I have not what I can set before him;
ஹே ப³ந்தோ⁴ பதி²க ஏகோ ப³ந்து⁴ ர்மம நிவேஸ²நம் ஆயாத: கிந்து தஸ்யாதித்²யம்’ கர்த்தும்’ மமாந்திகே கிமபி நாஸ்தி, அதஏவ பூபத்ரயம்’ மஹ்யம் ரு’ணம்’ தே³ஹி;
7 and, he, from within, shall answer, and say—Be not disturbing me, —already, the door hath been fastened, and, my children, with me, are, in bed: I cannot rise and give thee?
ததா³ ஸ யதி³ க்³ரு’ஹமத்⁴யாத் ப்ரதிவத³தி மாம்’ மா க்லிஸா²ந, இதா³நீம்’ த்³வாரம்’ ருத்³த⁴ம்’ ஸ²யநே மயா ஸஹ பா³லகாஸ்²ச திஷ்ட²ந்தி துப்⁴யம்’ தா³தும் உத்தா²தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோமி,
8 I say unto you—Even though he will not give him, rising because of his being a friend of his, because, at least, of his importunity, he will rouse himself, and give him as many as he needeth.
தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ வதா³மி, ஸ யதி³ மித்ரதயா தஸ்மை கிமபி தா³தும்’ நோத்திஷ்ட²தி ததா²பி வாரம்’ வாரம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாத உத்தா²பித: ஸந் யஸ்மிந் தஸ்ய ப்ரயோஜநம்’ ததே³வ தா³ஸ்யதி|
9 I, therefore, unto you, say—Be asking, and it shall be given to you, Be seeking, and ye shall find, —Be knocking, and it shall be opened unto you.
அத: காரணாத் கத²யாமி, யாசத்⁴வம்’ ததோ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ தா³ஸ்யதே, ம்ரு’க³யத்⁴வம்’ தத உத்³தே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யத², த்³வாரம் ஆஹத ததோ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ த்³வாரம்’ மோக்ஷ்யதே|
10 For, whosoever asketh, receiveth, and, he that seeketh, findeth, —and, to him that knocketh, shall it be opened.
யோ யாசதே ஸ ப்ராப்நோதி, யோ ம்ரு’க³யதே ஸ ஏவோத்³தே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்நோதி, யோ த்³வாரம் ஆஹந்தி தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்³வாரம்’ மோச்யதே|
11 But which is the father, from among yourselves, whom the son will ask for, a fish, who, instead of a fish, will give him, a serpent?
புத்ரேண பூபே யாசிதே தஸ்மை பாஷாணம்’ த³தா³தி வா மத்ஸ்யே யாசிதே தஸ்மை ஸர்பம்’ த³தா³தி
12 Or shall also ask, an egg, who will give him, a scorpion?
வா அண்டே³ யாசிதே தஸ்மை வ்ரு’ஸ்²சிகம்’ த³தா³தி யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே க ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²: பிதாஸ்தே?
13 If therefore, ye, being, evil, know how to be giving, good gifts, unto your children, how much rather, will, the heavenly Father, give Holy Spirit unto them that ask him!
தஸ்மாதே³வ யூயமப⁴த்³ரா அபி யதி³ ஸ்வஸ்வபா³லகேப்⁴ய உத்தமாநி த்³ரவ்யாணி தா³தும்’ ஜாநீத² தர்ஹ்யஸ்மாகம்’ ஸ்வர்க³ஸ்த²: பிதா நிஜயாசகேப்⁴ய: கிம்’ பவித்ரம் ஆத்மாநம்’ ந தா³ஸ்யதி?
14 And he was casting out a demon that was dumb; and it came to pass, when the demon went out, the dumb began speaking. And the multitudes marvelled;
அநந்தரம்’ யீஸு²நா கஸ்மாச்சித்³ ஏகஸ்மிந் மூகபூ⁴தே த்யாஜிதே ஸதி ஸ பூ⁴தத்யக்தோ மாநுஷோ வாக்யம்’ வக்தும் ஆரேபே⁴; ததோ லோகா: ஸகலா ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ மேநிரே|
15 but, some from among them, said—In Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons, is he casting out the demons;
கிந்து தேஷாம்’ கேசிதூ³சு ர்ஜநோயம்’ பா³லஸிபூ³பா³ அர்தா²த்³ பூ⁴தராஜேந பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயதி|
16 and, others, putting him to the test, a sign out of heaven, were seeking from him.
தம்’ பரீக்ஷிதும்’ கேசித்³ ஆகாஸீ²யம் ஏகம்’ சிஹ்நம்’ த³ர்ஸ²யிதும்’ தம்’ ப்ரார்த²யாஞ்சக்ரிரே|
17 But, he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them—Every kingdom, against itself divided, is laid waste, and, a house, against a house, [divided], falleth;
ததா³ ஸ தேஷாம்’ மந: கல்பநாம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா கத²யாமாஸ, கஸ்யசித்³ ராஜ்யஸ்ய லோகா யதி³ பரஸ்பரம்’ விருந்த⁴ந்தி தர்ஹி தத்³ ராஜ்யம் நஸ்²யதி; கேசித்³ க்³ரு’ஹஸ்தா² யதி³ பரஸ்பரம்’ விருந்த⁴ந்தி தர்ஹி தேபி நஸ்²யந்தி|
18 And, if, even Satan, against himself hath become divided, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye are saying that, in Beelzebul, am I casting out the demons.
ததை²வ ஸை²தாநபி ஸ்வலோகாந் யதி³ விருணத்³தி⁴ ததா³ தஸ்ய ராஜ்யம்’ கத²ம்’ ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி? பா³லஸிபூ³பா³ஹம்’ பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயாமி யூயமிதி வத³த²|
19 But, if, I, in Beelzebul, am casting out the demons, In whom are, your sons, casting them out? Wherefore, they, shall be, your judges.
யத்³யஹம்’ பா³லஸிபூ³பா³ பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயாமி தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸந்தாநா: கேந த்யாஜயந்தி? தஸ்மாத் தஏவ கதா²யா ஏதஸ்யா விசாரயிதாரோ ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
20 But, if, with the finger of God, I, am casting out the demons, then doubtless unawares hath come upon you, the kingdom of God.
கிந்து யத்³யஹம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய பராக்ரமேண பூ⁴தாந் த்யாஜயாமி தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ நிகடம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜ்யமவஸ்²யம் உபதிஷ்ட²தி|
21 Whensoever, the mighty one, armed, may be guarding his own dwelling, in peace, are his goods;
ப³லவாந் புமாந் ஸுஸஜ்ஜமாநோ யதிகாலம்’ நிஜாட்டாலிகாம்’ ரக்ஷதி ததிகாலம்’ தஸ்ய த்³ரவ்யம்’ நிருபத்³ரவம்’ திஷ்ட²தி|
22 But, whensoever, a mightier than he, shall come upon and vanquish him, his panoply, he taketh away, wherein he was trusting, and, his spoils, he distributeth.
கிந்து தஸ்மாத்³ அதி⁴கப³ல: கஸ்²சிதா³க³த்ய யதி³ தம்’ ஜயதி தர்ஹி யேஷு ஸ²ஸ்த்ராஸ்த்ரேஷு தஸ்ய விஸ்²வாஸ ஆஸீத் தாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி ஹ்ரு’த்வா தஸ்ய த்³ரவ்யாணி க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி|
23 He that is not with me, is, against me; and, he that gathereth not with me, scattereth.
அத: காரணாத்³ யோ மம ஸபக்ஷோ ந ஸ விபக்ஷ: , யோ மயா ஸஹ ந ஸம்’க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி ஸ விகிரதி|
24 Whensoever, the impure spirit, goeth out from the man, it passeth through waterless places, seeking rest; and, not finding it, [then, ] it saith, I will return unto my house, whence I came out; —
அபரஞ்ச அமேத்⁴யபூ⁴தோ மாநுஷஸ்யாந்தர்நிர்க³த்ய ஸு²ஷ்கஸ்தா²நே ப்⁴ராந்த்வா விஸ்²ராமம்’ ம்ரு’க³யதே கிந்து ந ப்ராப்ய வத³தி மம யஸ்மாத்³ க்³ரு’ஹாத்³ ஆக³தோஹம்’ புநஸ்தத்³ க்³ரு’ஹம்’ பராவ்ரு’த்ய யாமி|
25 and, coming, findeth it, [empty, ] swept, and adorned.
ததோ க³த்வா தத்³ க்³ரு’ஹம்’ மார்ஜிதம்’ ஸோ²பி⁴தஞ்ச த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா
26 Then, goeth it, and taketh along with itself, other spirits, more wicked than itself—seven, and, entering in, fixeth its dwelling there; and, the last state of that man, becometh, worse than the first.
தத்க்ஷணம் அபக³த்ய ஸ்வஸ்மாத³பி து³ர்ம்மதீந் அபராந் ஸப்தபூ⁴தாந் ஸஹாநயதி தே ச தத்³க்³ரு’ஹம்’ பவிஸ்²ய நிவஸந்தி| தஸ்மாத் தஸ்ய மநுஷ்யஸ்ய ப்ரத²மத³ஸா²த: ஸே²ஷத³ஸா² து³: க²தரா ப⁴வதி|
27 Now it came to pass, while he was saying these things, that a certain woman out of the multitude, lifting up her voice, said unto him—Happy the womb that bare thee! And the breasts which thou didst suck!
அஸ்யா: கதா²யா: கத²நகாலே ஜநதாமத்⁴யஸ்தா² காசிந்நாரீ தமுச்சை: ஸ்வரம்’ ப்ரோவாச, யா யோஷித் த்வாம்’ க³ர்ப்³பே⁴(அ)தா⁴ரயத் ஸ்தந்யமபாயயச்ச ஸைவ த⁴ந்யா|
28 But, he, said—Yea rather!—Happy they who hear the word of God, and observe it!
கிந்து ஸோகத²யத் யே பரமேஸ்²வரஸ்ய கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா தத³நுரூபம் ஆசரந்தி தஏவ த⁴ந்யா: |
29 And, as the multitudes were thronging together, he began to be saying—This generation, is, a wicked generation: A sign, it is seeking, and, a sign, shall not be given it, save the sign of Jonah.
தத: பரம்’ தஸ்யாந்திகே ப³ஹுலோகாநாம்’ ஸமாக³மே ஜாதே ஸ வக்துமாரேபே⁴, ஆது⁴நிகா து³ஷ்டலோகாஸ்²சிஹ்நம்’ த்³ரஷ்டுமிச்ச²ந்தி கிந்து யூநஸ்ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நஸ்²சிஹ்நம்’ விநாந்யத் கிஞ்சிச்சிஹ்நம்’ தாந் ந த³ர்ஸ²யிஷ்யதே|
30 For, according as, Jonah, became, unto the Ninevites, a sign, so, shall be, the Son of Man also, unto this generation.
யூநஸ் து யதா² நீநிவீயலோகாநாம்’ ஸமீபே சிஹ்நரூபோப⁴வத் ததா² வித்³யமாநலோகாநாம் ஏஷாம்’ ஸமீபே மநுஷ்யபுத்ரோபி சிஹ்நரூபோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
31 The queen of the south, will rise up, in the judgment, with the men of this generation, and will condemn them; because she came out of the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, —and lo! something more than Solomon, here.
விசாரஸமயே இதா³நீந்தநலோகாநாம்’ ப்ராதிகூல்யேந த³க்ஷிணதே³ஸீ²யா ராஜ்ஞீ ப்ரோத்தா²ய தாந் தோ³ஷிண: கரிஷ்யதி, யத: ஸா ராஜ்ஞீ ஸுலேமாந உபதே³ஸ²கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரோதும்’ ப்ரு’தி²வ்யா: ஸீமாத ஆக³ச்ச²த் கிந்து பஸ்²யத ஸுலேமாநோபி கு³ருதர ஏகோ ஜநோ(அ)ஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே வித்³யதே|
32 Men of Nineveh, will rise up, in the judgment, with this generation, and will condemn it; because they repented into the proclamation of Jonah, —and lo! something more than Jonah, here.
அபரஞ்ச விசாரஸமயே நீநிவீயலோகா அபி வர்த்தமாநகாலிகாநாம்’ லோகாநாம்’ வைபரீத்யேந ப்ரோத்தா²ய தாந் தோ³ஷிண: கரிஷ்யந்தி, யதோ ஹேதோஸ்தே யூநஸோ வாக்யாத் சித்தாநி பரிவர்த்தயாமாஸு: கிந்து பஸ்²யத யூநஸோதிகு³ருதர ஏகோ ஜநோ(அ)ஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே வித்³யதே|
33 No one, having lighted, a lamp, into a covered place, a putteth it, nor, under the measure; but upon the lampstand, that they who enter may see, the light.
ப்ரதீ³பம்’ ப்ரஜ்வால்ய த்³ரோணஸ்யாத⁴: குத்ராபி கு³ப்தஸ்தா²நே வா கோபி ந ஸ்தா²பயதி கிந்து க்³ரு’ஹப்ரவேஸி²ப்⁴யோ தீ³ப்திம்’ தா³தம்’ தீ³பாதா⁴ரோபர்ய்யேவ ஸ்தா²பயதி|
34 The lamp of thy body, is thine eye: Whensoever, thine eye, may be, single, even the whole of thy body, is, lighted up; but, whensoever it may be, useless, even thy body, is darkened.
தே³ஹஸ்ய ப்ரதீ³பஸ்²சக்ஷுஸ்தஸ்மாதே³வ சக்ஷு ர்யதி³ ப்ரஸந்நம்’ ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி தவ ஸர்வ்வஸ²ரீரம்’ தீ³ப்திமத்³ ப⁴விஷ்யதி கிந்து சக்ஷு ர்யதி³ மலீமஸம்’ திஷ்ட²தி தர்ஹி ஸர்வ்வஸ²ரீரம்’ ஸாந்த⁴காரம்’ ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி|
35 Be looking to it, therefore, lest, the light that is in thee, be, darkness.
அஸ்மாத் காரணாத் தவாந்த: ஸ்த²ம்’ ஜ்யோதி ர்யதா²ந்த⁴காரமயம்’ ந ப⁴வதி தத³ர்தே² ஸாவதா⁴நோ ப⁴வ|
36 If, therefore, thy whole body, is lighted up, not having any part darkened, the whole, shall be lighted up, as whensoever, the lamp, with its radiance, may be giving thee light.
யத: ஸ²ரீரஸ்ய குத்ராப்யம்’ஸே² ஸாந்த⁴காரே ந ஜாதே ஸர்வ்வம்’ யதி³ தீ³ப்திமத் திஷ்ட²தி தர்ஹி துப்⁴யம்’ தீ³ப்திதா³யிப்ரோஜ்ஜ்வலந் ப்ரதீ³ப இவ தவ ஸவர்வஸ²ரீரம்’ தீ³ப்திமத்³ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
37 And, when he had spoken, a Pharisee was requesting him that he would dine with him; and, entering, he reclined.
ஏதத்கதா²யா: கத²நகாலே பி²ருஸ்²யேகோ பே⁴ஜநாய தம்’ நிமந்த்ரயாமாஸ, தத: ஸ க³த்வா போ⁴க்தும் உபவிவேஸ²|
38 And, the Pharisee, beholding, marvelled that he was not, first, immersed, before the dinner.
கிந்து போ⁴ஜநாத் பூர்வ்வம்’ நாமாங்க்ஷீத் ஏதத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா ஸ பி²ருஸ்²யாஸ்²சர்ய்யம்’ மேநே|
39 And the Lord said unto him: Now, ye, the Pharisees, the outside of the cup and of the tray, do make pure; but, your inward part, is full of plunder and wickedness.
ததா³ ப்ரபு⁴ஸ்தம்’ ப்ரோவாச யூயம்’ பி²ரூஸி²லோகா: பாநபாத்ராணாம்’ போ⁴ஜநபாத்ராணாஞ்ச ப³ஹி: பரிஷ்குருத² கிந்து யுஷ்மாகமந்த ர்தௌ³ராத்ம்யை ர்து³ஷ்க்ரியாபி⁴ஸ்²ச பரிபூர்ணம்’ திஷ்ட²தி|
40 Simple ones! Did not, he who made the outside, the inside also, make?
ஹே ஸர்வ்வே நிர்போ³தா⁴ யோ ப³ஹி: ஸஸர்ஜ ஸ ஏவ கிமந்த ர்ந ஸஸர்ஜ?
41 Notwithstanding, as to the things within, give alms, and lo! everything, is, pure unto you.
தத ஏவ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ரந்த: கரணம்’ (ஈஸ்²வராய) நிவேத்³யதாம்’ தஸ்மிந் க்ரு’தே யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வாணி ஸு²சிதாம்’ யாஸ்யந்தி|
42 But alas for you, the Pharisees! because ye tithe the mint, and the rue, and every garden herb, and pass by justice, and the love of God. But, these things, it was binding to do, and, those, not to pass by.
கிந்து ஹந்த பி²ரூஸி²க³ணா யூயம்’ ந்யாயம் ஈஸ்²வரே ப்ரேம ச பரித்யஜ்ய போதி³நாயா அருதா³தீ³நாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸா²காநாஞ்ச த³ஸ²மாம்’ஸா²ந் த³த்த² கிந்து ப்ரத²மம்’ பாலயித்வா ஸே²ஷஸ்யாலங்க⁴நம்’ யுஷ்மாகம் உசிதமாஸீத்|
43 Alas for you, the Pharisees! because ye love the first seats in the synagogues, and the salutations in the market-places!
ஹா ஹா பி²ரூஸி²நோ யூயம்’ ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹே ப்ரோச்சாஸநே ஆபணேஷு ச நமஸ்காரேஷு ப்ரீயத்⁴வே|
44 Alas for you! because ye are as the secret tombs: even the men that are walking above them, know it not.
வத கபடிநோ(அ)த்⁴யாபகா: பி²ரூஸி²நஸ்²ச லோகாயத் ஸ்²மஸா²நம் அநுபலப்⁴ய தது³பரி க³ச்ச²ந்தி யூயம் தாத்³ரு’க³ப்ரகாஸி²தஸ்²மஸா²நவாத்³ ப⁴வத²|
45 And, making answer, one of the Lawyers saith unto him, Teacher! these things, saying, us also, dost thou insult!
ததா³நீம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²பகாநாம் ஏகா யீஸு²மவத³த், ஹே உபதே³ஸ²க வாக்யேநேத்³ரு’ஸே²நாஸ்மாஸ்வபி தோ³ஷம் ஆரோபயஸி|
46 And, he, said—And, for you, the lawyers, alas! because ye lade men with burdens hard to be borne, and, yourselves, with one of your fingers, touch not the burdens.
தத: ஸ உவாச, ஹா ஹா வ்யவஸ்தா²பகா யூயம் மாநுஷாணாம் உபரி து³: ஸஹ்யாந் பா⁴ராந் ந்யஸ்யத² கிந்து ஸ்வயம் ஏகாங்கு³ல்யாபி தாந் பா⁴ராந் ந ஸ்ப்ரு’ஸ²த²|
47 Alas for you! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers slew them!
ஹந்த யுஷ்மாகம்’ பூர்வ்வபுருஷா யாந் ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நோ(அ)வதி⁴ஷுஸ்தேஷாம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நாநி யூயம்’ நிர்ம்மாத²|
48 Hence, witnesses, are ye, and find consenting pleasure in the works of your fathers: because, they, indeed, slew them, and, ye, are building, [their tombs].
தேநைவ யூயம்’ ஸ்வபூர்வ்வபுருஷாணாம்’ கர்ம்மாணி ஸம்’மந்யத்⁴வே ததே³வ ஸப்ரமாணம்’ குருத² ச, யதஸ்தே தாநவதி⁴ஷு: யூயம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நாநி நிர்ம்மாத²|
49 For this cause, the Wisdom of God hath said—I will send forth, unto them, prophets and apostles, —and, some from among them, will they slay, and, [some] persecute:
அதஏவ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸா²ஸ்த்ரே ப்ரோக்தமஸ்தி தேஷாமந்திகே ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³ந: ப்ரேரிதாம்’ஸ்²ச ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யாமி ததஸ்தே தேஷாம்’ காம்’ஸ்²சந ஹநிஷ்யந்தி காம்’ஸ்²சந தாட³ஸ்²ஷ்யிந்தி|
50 That the blood of all the prophets which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, may be sought out, from this generation, —
ஏதஸ்மாத் காரணாத் ஹாபி³ல: ஸோ²ணிதபாதமாரப்⁴ய மந்தி³ரயஜ்ஞவேத்³யோ ர்மத்⁴யே ஹதஸ்ய ஸிக²ரியஸ்ய ரக்தபாதபர்ய்யந்தம்’
51 From the blood of Abel, unto the blood of Zachariah who was destroyed betwixt the altar and the house; Yea! I say unto you—It shall be sought out from this generation.
ஜக³த: ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டிமாரப்⁴ய ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³நாம்’ யதிரக்தபாதா ஜாதாஸ்ததீநாம் அபராத⁴த³ண்டா³ ஏஷாம்’ வர்த்தமாநலோகாநாம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ நிஸ்²சிதம்’ வதா³மி ஸர்வ்வே த³ண்டா³ வம்’ஸ²ஸ்யாஸ்ய ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
52 Alas for you, the lawyers! because ye took away the key of knowledge: yourselves, entered not, and, them who were entering, ye hindered.
ஹா ஹா வ்யவஸ்த²பகா யூயம்’ ஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய குஞ்சிகாம்’ ஹ்ரு’த்வா ஸ்வயம்’ ந ப்ரவிஷ்டா யே ப்ரவேஷ்டுஞ்ச ப்ரயாஸிநஸ்தாநபி ப்ரவேஷ்டும்’ வாரிதவந்த: |
53 And, when, from thence, he came out, the Scribes and the Pharisees began, with vehemence, to be hemming him in, and trying to make him speak off-hand concerning many things, —
இத்த²ம்’ கதா²கத²நாத்³ அத்⁴யாபகா: பி²ரூஸி²நஸ்²ச ஸதர்கா:
54 lying in wait for him, to catch something out of his mouth.
ஸந்தஸ்தமபவதி³தும்’ தஸ்ய கதா²யா தோ³ஷம்’ த⁴ர்த்தமிச்ச²ந்தோ நாநாக்²யாநகத²நாய தம்’ ப்ரவர்த்தயிதும்’ கோபயிதுஞ்ச ப்ராரேபி⁴ரே|
