< Luke 11 >

1 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain place praying, as he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him—Lord! teach us to pray, as, John also, taught his disciples.
Yabha nali humo humo alabhaga na wamala, omo wasambelezewa bhakwe abhole, “GOSI, umanyizye ate apute neshe shila oYohana shabha manyizizya asambelezewa bhakwe.'
2 And he said unto them—Whensoever ye are praying, say—Father! Hallowed be thy name, Come may thy kingdom,
Wabhabhola na mputa, yangaji, semeni, 'Baba, hwetu woli mwanya. Itawa lyaho lisaiwaje. Umwene waho wenze, amapenzi gaho gatimizi waje, epa padunia neshe ohwo amwanya.
3 Our needful bread, be giving us, day by day;
Otipele isiku hwi siku eriziki yetu.
4 And forgive us our sins, for, even we ourselves, forgive every one indebted to us; And bring us not into temptation.
Otisajile embibhi zyetu, afwanaje nate ate tibhasajira shila yativisya. Na ogaje ati ponye mmalabha.” (lelo otaule nalo obhibhi)
5 And he said unto them—Who from among you, shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him—Friend! supply me with three loaves,
Wabhabhola, “Wenu hwilimwe yali no rafiki, wabhalila nosiku, owe manane na hubhole, Rafiki wane hopele amabumnda gatatu.
6 forasmuch as, a friend of mine, hath come off a journey unto me, and I have not what I can set before him;
Afwanaje orafiki wane afishile hwiline afamile msafari, nane sendi nahantu eshabheshe hwitagalila lyakwe.'
7 and, he, from within, shall answer, and say—Be not disturbing me, —already, the door hath been fastened, and, my children, with me, are, in bed: I cannot rise and give thee?
Na ola owa mhati galula ayanje, uganjenja zye, olyango engaliye nate tiganile nashitala ane na bhana bhane, sebwezizya abhoshe aje epele.
8 I say unto you—Even though he will not give him, rising because of his being a friend of his, because, at least, of his importunity, he will rouse himself, and give him as many as he needeth.
Embabhale yaje, ata nkashile bhoha apele afwanaje rafiki wakwe, lele shila shasaleha hulabhe, bhaso gale na hupele, kadli eyehaja yakwe.
9 I, therefore, unto you, say—Be asking, and it shall be given to you, Be seeking, and ye shall find, —Be knocking, and it shall be opened unto you.
Nane embabhola, Labhaji, mbhapewe; anzaji, namwe mbhalole, ganezyaje, nemwa mbhahwalwe.
10 For, whosoever asketh, receiveth, and, he that seeketh, findeth, —and, to him that knocketh, shall it be opened.
Afwanaje shila yalabha apewa, wape ya hwanza alola, wape yadaliha ahwaulwa.
11 But which is the father, from among yourselves, whom the son will ask for, a fish, who, instead of a fish, will give him, a serpent?
Eshi wenu hwalimwe, yali Yise wenyuyaje omwana wukwe, nkalabhe ibumnda ahupela iwe
12 Or shall also ask, an egg, who will give him, a scorpion?
au samaki badala ya samaki ahupela enzoha?
13 If therefore, ye, being, evil, know how to be giving, good gifts, unto your children, how much rather, will, the heavenly Father, give Holy Spirit unto them that ask him!
Eshi, ekiwa amwe mwemli bhibhi mmenye abhapele abhana bhenyu evintu evinza, eshi oBaba warimwanya sabhazide abhapele opepo ozelu bhala bhabhalabha?”
14 And he was casting out a demon that was dumb; and it came to pass, when the demon went out, the dumb began speaking. And the multitudes marvelled;
Wape ali, ahwefwa ipepo, ibubu. lyabha ipepo nalyepa, ola obubu wayanga, mabongano bhaswiga.
15 but, some from among them, said—In Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons, is he casting out the demons;
Bhamo bhayanga, ahwefwa pepo, Beelzebul, gosi we pepo.
16 and, others, putting him to the test, a sign out of heaven, were seeking from him.
Bhamo bhalenga bhamwanza ishala yefuma amwanya.
17 But, he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them—Every kingdom, against itself divided, is laid waste, and, a house, against a house, [divided], falleth;
Wape azimenye esebho zyabho, wabhabhola, shila umwene wauvisenye wowo kwa wowo, ubhombeha sheukwa, nekhaya juu yekhaya egwa.
18 And, if, even Satan, against himself hath become divided, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye are saying that, in Beelzebul, am I casting out the demons.
Eshi nkebhe Oshetani avisenye juu ye nafsi yakwe, umwene wakwa ubhahwemelele wele, afanaje amwe mjile ane ehwefwa mapepo hwa Belzebuli.
19 But, if, I, in Beelzebul, am casting out the demons, In whom are, your sons, casting them out? Wherefore, they, shall be, your judges.
Eshi nkashile ane ehwefwa pepo Belzebuli, je abhana bhenu, mbhabhefwe hwananu, afwanaje, ebho bhabhayibhalonga.
20 But, if, with the finger of God, I, am casting out the demons, then doubtless unawares hath come upon you, the kingdom of God.
Lelo, nkashele ane efumya amapepo hushidole sha Ngolobhe, eshu umwene owa Ngolobhe ubhenzeye.
21 Whensoever, the mighty one, armed, may be guarding his own dwelling, in peace, are his goods;
Omntu yali namaha ahwipinyile endoso zyakwe, nalinda ekhaya yakwe, evintu evyakwa vilishinza.
22 But, whensoever, a mightier than he, shall come upon and vanquish him, his panoply, he taketh away, wherein he was trusting, and, his spoils, he distributeth.
Lelo omntu yali namaha ashile omwahale na bhahubhalile nahumene, na hufyole endoso zyakwe zyasobheye, na gabhanye amateka gakwe.
23 He that is not with me, is, against me; and, he that gathereth not with me, scattereth.
Omntu ambaye salipandwemo nane, oyo alishinyume nane na omntu yasabhonganya pandwemo nane anyapanya.
24 Whensoever, the impure spirit, goeth out from the man, it passeth through waterless places, seeking rest; and, not finding it, [then, ] it saith, I will return unto my house, whence I came out; —
Opepo ochafu nafuma hwamntu, ashililila pasepali menze. Ahwanza apatoye sapalela, ayanga.
25 and, coming, findeth it, [empty, ] swept, and adorned.
Embayiwelele enyumba yane mwefumele.
26 Then, goeth it, and taketh along with itself, other spirits, more wicked than itself—seven, and, entering in, fixeth its dwelling there; and, the last state of that man, becometh, worse than the first.
Hata nafiha nkawalola eyoselye na yipambe esho abhala ayeje pepe abhamwabho saba bhali bhabhibhi ashile elyahale lyelyo, ginjila na khale omwo, omntu oyo ehali yakwe eya humalisholo ebhambibhi shile eyahwande.
27 Now it came to pass, while he was saying these things, that a certain woman out of the multitude, lifting up her voice, said unto him—Happy the womb that bare thee! And the breasts which thou didst suck!
Yabha nawayanga amazu ego, oshe om katika obongano akholile hwizu lyakwe, wabhola heri evyanda vyavyapepe, na mabhele gohoshile.
28 But, he, said—Yea rather!—Happy they who hear the word of God, and observe it!
Lelo omwahale ayanjile, nafu, aheli bhahwovwa izu elya Ngolobhe na likhate.
29 And, as the multitudes were thronging together, he began to be saying—This generation, is, a wicked generation: A sign, it is seeking, and, a sign, shall not be given it, save the sign of Jonah.
Na mabongano nabhali bhahubhonganila, ahandile ayanje, eshikholo eshi shikholo eshibhibhi. Shihwanza ishala, wala seshayipewa ishara ila ishara eya Yona.
30 For, according as, Jonah, became, unto the Ninevites, a sign, so, shall be, the Son of Man also, unto this generation.
Eshi, nkasile shila o Yona shari ishara hwa bhaninawi, shesho shayibha omwana owa Adamu hushikholo eshi.
31 The queen of the south, will rise up, in the judgment, with the men of this generation, and will condemn them; because she came out of the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, —and lo! something more than Solomon, here.
Omalkia owa hukusini ayisogola isiku ilyalongwe pandwemo na bhantu abheshikholo eshi wape aibhalonga aje mnamakosa afatanaje omwahale ahenzele afume ncha ezye ensi ayovwe ehekimu eya Solomoni, na epa pali o gosi ashera Osolomoni.
32 Men of Nineveh, will rise up, in the judgment, with this generation, and will condemn it; because they repented into the proclamation of Jonah, —and lo! something more than Jonah, here.
Abhantu Bhaninawi bhayemelela isiku elya longwe pandwemo nesikholo eshi bhape bhayishilongu aje shikosile afwanaje abhahale bhasajilwe hundomelelo ezya Yona, nepa pali ogosi ashile o Yona.
33 No one, having lighted, a lamp, into a covered place, a putteth it, nor, under the measure; but upon the lampstand, that they who enter may see, the light.
Nomo omntu yahwasya okhozyo nabhesha pa pafisishe au pansi pameza, eshi ibhehwa pamwanya eye meza, ili bhabhahwinjila bhalolaje okhozyo.
34 The lamp of thy body, is thine eye: Whensoever, thine eye, may be, single, even the whole of thy body, is, lighted up; but, whensoever it may be, useless, even thy body, is darkened.
Okhozyo olwebele liso. Eshi iliso lyaho nkalibhe shinza, obele gwao gwonti gubhabhelukhozyo. Lelo nkalibhe libhibhi obele gwaho gubhabhe nkisi.
35 Be looking to it, therefore, lest, the light that is in thee, be, darkness.
Enya eshi olukhozyo lwalimhati yaho osije ogabha nkisi.
36 If, therefore, thy whole body, is lighted up, not having any part darkened, the whole, shall be lighted up, as whensoever, the lamp, with its radiance, may be giving thee light.
Eshi nkashile okhozyo guzyambanile mubele gwaho gwonti, wala segunesehemu eye nkisi, esho obele gwaho gwonti gubhabhe nokhozyo, nkashile lula okhozyo nkaukhozye obele gwaho gwonti gubhabhe no mwanga.”
37 And, when he had spoken, a Pharisee was requesting him that he would dine with him; and, entering, he reclined.
Nali ayanga, o Falisayo omo akwizizye abhale hwamwahale alye ehsalye, winjila, wakhala pa shalye.
38 And, the Pharisee, beholding, marvelled that he was not, first, immersed, before the dinner.
Farisayo oyo nalolile, aswijile afwanaje saganawile sasele alye.
39 And the Lord said unto him: Now, ye, the Pharisees, the outside of the cup and of the tray, do make pure; but, your inward part, is full of plunder and wickedness.
Ogosi wabhola, “Amwe mwafalisayo mhwozya eshikombo ne sahani wonze lelo mhati yenyu mmemile afyole no ubhibhi.
40 Simple ones! Did not, he who made the outside, the inside also, make?
Amwe mwalema yabhombile evya hwonza seyoyo yabhombile evya mhati antele?
41 Notwithstanding, as to the things within, give alms, and lo! everything, is, pure unto you.
Ulo fumyaji esadaka vila evya mhati ne enya, vyonti vibhovinza hwilimwe.
42 But alas for you, the Pharisees! because ye tithe the mint, and the rue, and every garden herb, and pass by justice, and the love of God. But, these things, it was binding to do, and, those, not to pass by.
Lelo ole wenyu Mwafarisayo, afwatanaje mfumia ezaka za mnanaa ne zebwa na shila vilembe na ohu mleshile amamba age adili na lugane olya Ngolobhe. Mwanziwaga abhombe ego agahwande bla agalishe ego agabhele.
43 Alas for you, the Pharisees! because ye love the first seats in the synagogues, and the salutations in the market-places!
Ole wenyu Mwafarisayo, afwanaje msongwa akhale hwitagalila elye mabhanza na lamhane msokoni.
44 Alas for you! because ye are as the secret tombs: even the men that are walking above them, know it not.
Ole wenyu, afwanaje mlengene na makabuli gasegabhone amago abhantu nabhashilla juu yakwe sebhali nehabari nago.”
45 And, making answer, one of the Lawyers saith unto him, Teacher! these things, saying, us also, dost thou insult!
Omntu omo katika abhanasheria wagalula, wabhalola sambelezi, ayanje esho otilajiye ate natee.
46 And, he, said—And, for you, the lawyers, alas! because ye lade men with burdens hard to be borne, and, yourselves, with one of your fingers, touch not the burdens.
Wayanga, namwe mbhanasheria, ole wenyu afwanaje mbhatweha abhantu amazigo gasega nyeruha wala amwe bhenyewe semgapalamasya amazigo ego hata huvidole vyenyu shimo.
47 Alas for you! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers slew them!
Ole wenyu afwanaje mzenga maziala aga kuwa na ayise bhenyu afwanaje bhabhagojile.
48 Hence, witnesses, are ye, and find consenting pleasure in the works of your fathers: because, they, indeed, slew them, and, ye, are building, [their tombs].
Eshi mshuhudila na zyetishe embombo ezya yise bhenyu, afwanaje bhahale bhabhagojile namwe mbhazenjela amaziala.
49 For this cause, the Wisdom of God hath said—I will send forth, unto them, prophets and apostles, —and, some from among them, will they slay, and, [some] persecute:
Na afwanaje esho ehekima eya Ngolobhe ihayanjila, enya, embasontezye hwabhahale akuwa na tumwa, bhape bhayibhagoga bhamo na bhutanje.
50 That the blood of all the prophets which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, may be sought out, from this generation, —
Ili hupapwa ene liwahwenze idanda elya kuwa wonti, yehitishe afume azengwe omsingi ogwensi.
51 From the blood of Abel, unto the blood of Zachariah who was destroyed betwixt the altar and the house; Yea! I say unto you—It shall be sought out from this generation.
Afume idanda elya Abeli hata idanda elya Zakaria, yagongwilye kati ya pampto eya pashibhanza. Nantele embabhola eyaje ebhahwanzye humpapo ene.
52 Alas for you, the lawyers! because ye took away the key of knowledge: yourselves, entered not, and, them who were entering, ye hindered.
Ole wenyu amwe mbhana sheria afwanaje muwefwizye efukuro eye marifai mwemwe semwahinji yei nabhala bhabhahinjilaga mbhazubhiye.”
53 And, when, from thence, he came out, the Scribes and the Pharisees began, with vehemence, to be hemming him in, and trying to make him speak off-hand concerning many things, —
Nawafuma omwo asimbi na Mafalisayo bhandile husonje shibhibhi na husinjizye humaswali gaminji.
54 lying in wait for him, to catch something out of his mouth.
Bhahuzijila ili bhapata enongwa zya zifuma mwilumu lyakwe.
