Leviticus 1
1 Then called he unto Moses, —and Yahweh spake unto him, out of the tent of meeting, saying:
Seyè a rete nan Tant Randevou a, li rele Moyiz, li di l' konsa:
2 Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them When any man, would bring near from among you an oblation, unto Yahweh, from the beasts, from the herd or from the flock, shall ye bring near your oblation.
-W'a pale ak moun pèp Izrayèl yo, w'a di yo: Lè yon moun vle fè Seyè a yon ofrann, si se yon bèt li vle ofri, l'a ofri yon bèf osinon yon kabrit ou ankò yon mouton l'a pran nan bèt li yo.
3 If an ascending-sacrifice, be his oblation—of the herd, a male without defect, shall he bring near, —unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, shall he bring it, for its acceptance, before Yahweh.
Si se yon gwo bèt li vle ofri pou yo boule pou Seyè a, l'a mennen yon towo bèf ki pa gen ankenn enfimite. L'a vin avè l' jouk devan pòt Tant Randevou a pou Seyè a ka asepte l'.
4 Then shall he lean his hand, upon the head of the ascending-sacrifice, —and it shall be accepted for him to put a propitiatory covering over him;
L'a mete men l' sou tèt bèt l'ap ofri a pou Bondye ka asepte l' tankou yon ofrann l'ap fè pou mande Bondye fè li gras.
5 and he shall slay the young bullock before Yahweh, —and the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring near the blood, and shall dash the blood against the altar round about, [even the altar] that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
L'a touye towo a la devan Seyè a. Apre sa, prèt yo, pitit Arawon yo, va pran san an pou yo ofri l' bay Seyè a. Lèfini, y'a voye san an sou kat bò lotèl ki toupre pòt Tant Randevou a.
6 Then shall he flay the ascending-sacrifice, —and cut it up into its pieces.
Apre sa, y'a kòche towo a, y'a koupe l' an moso.
7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall place fire upon the altar, —and arrange wood, upon the fire.
Prèt yo, pitit Arawon, prèt la, va limen dife sou lotèl la, y'a mete bwa nan dife a.
8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall arrange the pieces, the head and the fat, —upon the wood, that is on the fire, that is on the altar.
Apre sa, prèt yo, pitit Arawon yo, va mete moso vyann yo ansanm ak tèt la ak moso grès yo sou dife ki sou lotèl la.
9 But its inwards and its legs, shall they bathe with water, —then shall the priest make, of the whole, a perfume at the altar, an ascending-sacrifice an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.
Moun k'ap fè ofrann lan va lave tripay yo ak pye dèyè yo nan dlo. Lèfini, prèt yo va ofri yo bay Seyè a. Konsa y'a boule tout ofrann lan nèt sou lotèl la. Se sa yo rele yon ofrann bèt ou boule pou Seyè a, yon ofrann ou boule nèt nan dife epi k'ap fè Seyè a plezi ak bon sant li.
10 But, if of the flock, be his oblation, —of the sheep or of the goats, for an ascending-sacrifice, a male without defect, shall he bring near.
Si se yon ti bèt moun lan vle ofri pou boule nèt pou Seyè a, l'a ofri yon ti bouk kabrit osinon yon belye mouton ki pa gen ankenn enfimite.
11 And he shall slay it on the side of the altar northward, before Yahweh, —and the sons of Aaron the priests shall dash its blood against the altar round about.
L'a touye l' sou bò nò lotèl la, devan Seyè a. Apre sa, prèt yo, pitit Arawon yo, va voye san an sou kat bò lotèl la.
12 And he shall cut it up into its pieces, and its head, and its fat, —and the priest shall arrange them upon the wood that is on the fire, that is on the altar,
Lèfini, nonm lan va koupe l' an moso. Prèt yo va mete tout moso yo ansanm ak tèt la ak moso grès yo sou dife ki sou lotèl la.
13 But the inwards and the legs, shall he bathe in water, —then shall the priest bring near the whole and make a perfume at the altar, an ascending-sacrifice, it is an altar-flame of a satisfying odour, unto Yahweh.
Moun k'ap fè ofrann lan va lave tripay yo ak pye dèyè yo nan dlo. Apre sa, prèt yo va ofri yo bay Seyè a. Konsa l'a boule tout ofrann lan nèt sou lotèl la. Se sa yo rele yon ofrann bèt ou boule pou Seyè a, yon ofrann ou boule nèt nan dife epi k'ap fè Seyè a plezi ak bon sant li.
14 But, if, of birds, be the ascending-sacrifice of his oblation unto Yahweh, then shall he bring near of the turtle-doves or of the young pigeons, his oblation.
Si se zwazo nonm lan ap ofri pou yo boule pou Seyè a, se va toutrèl osinon pijon.
15 And the priest shall bring it near unto the altar shall nip off its head, and make a perfume at the altar, —and its blood shall be drained out upon the wall of the altar.
Prèt la va pran zwazo a, l'a pote l' bò lotèl la, l'a peze bèk li, l'a tòde kou l' pou l' touye l'. Y'a boule tèt la sou lotèl la, y'a fè san li koule sou kat bò lotèl la.
16 Then shall he take away its crop with its plumage, —and cast it beside the altar, eastward, into the place of fat ashes;
L'a rache fal zwazo a ak tout plim li sou li. L'a jete l' bò lotèl la, sou bò solèy leve, kote yo mete sann dife a.
17 and he shall cleave it in its wings—he shall not divide it asunder, so shall the priest make a perfume therewith, at the altar, upon the wood that is on the fire, —an ascending-sacrifice, it is, an altar-flame of a satisfying odour, unto Yahweh.
Apre sa, l'a bay yon kout kouto nan mitan de zèl yo, l'a kenbe zèl yo, l'a louvri kò zwazo a ande san li pa detache zèl yo. Lèfini, prèt la va boule l' nèt sou dife ki sou lotèl la. Se sa yo rele yon ofrann bèt yo boule pou Seyè a, yon ofrann ou boule nèt nan dife epi k'ap fè Seyè a plezi ak bon sant li.
