Leviticus 5
1 Any person, moreover, whensoever he shall sin in that, when he heareth a voice of swearing, he himself, being a witness either seeing or knowing, —if he do not tell and so hath to bear his iniquity: —
यदि कसैले आफूले देखेको वा सुनेको कुनै कुराको साक्षी भएर पनि त्यस कुराको गवाही दिनुपर्ने अवस्थामा गवाही नदिएको कारणले पाप गर्दछ भने, त्यो दोषी हुने छ ।
2 Or, any person, who toucheth anything unclean, whether the carcase of an unclean wild-beast or the carcase of an unclean tame-beast, or the carcase of an unclean creeping thing, —and it is hidden from him, he himself being unclean, and he becometh aware of his guilt: —
वा परमेश्वरले अशुद्ध ठहराउनुभएको कुनै कुरा कसैले छोयो भने, चाहे त्यो कुनै अशुद्ध वन-पशु, पाल्तु पशु वा घस्रने पशुको मृत शरीर होस्, त्यसले त्यो अजानमा छोएको भए तापनि त्यो अशुद्ध र दोषी हुने छ ।
3 Or whensoever one shall touch the uncleanness of man, as regardeth any uncleanness of his, wherewith one may become unclean, —and it be hidden from him, and then he himself, getting to know it becometh aware of his guilt: —
वा त्यसले कसैको अशुद्धता छोयो भने, चाहे त्यो अशुद्धता जेसुकै होस्, र त्यसबारे त्यो अजान छ भने, त्यसबारे त्यसलाई थाहा भएपछि त्यो दोषी हुने छ ।
4 Or, any person, whensoever he shall swear, speaking unadvisedly with the lips, to harm or to help, as regardeth anything wherein the son of earth may speak unadvisedly by way of oath, and it be hidden from him, —and then, he himself, getting to know it, becometh aware of his guilt as regardeth any one of these things.
वा कसैले खराब वा असल गर्न आफ्नो मुखबाट विचारै नगरेर किरिया हाल्छ भने, त्यसले जेसुकैको किरिया हालेको भए तापनि, यदि त्यसबारे त्यो अजान छ भने, त्यसबारे त्यसलाई थाहा भएपछि त्यो यी सबै कुराहरूमा दोषी हुने छ ।
5 Then shall it be, when he becometh aware of his guilt, as regardeth any one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned;
यी कुराहरूमा कोही दोषी ठहरिएपछि त्यसले जेसुकै पाप गरेको भए तापनि त्यसले त्यो स्वीकार गर्नुपर्छ ।
6 and shall bring in as his guilt-bearer unto Yahweh for his sin which he hath committed, a female from the flock—a lamb or a kid of the goats—as a sin-bearer, —so shall the priest put propitiatory-covering over him, because of his sin.
त्यसपछि त्यसले आफूले गरेको पापको निम्ति परमप्रभुकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा बगालबाट पोथी पशु, पाठी वा बाख्री पापबलिको निम्ति ल्याओस्, र त्यसको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ ।
7 And, if his hand cannot reach sufficient for a lamb, then shall he bring in to bear his guilt—for that he hath sinned—two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons unto Yahweh, —one for a sin-bearer, and one for an ascending-sacrifice.
यदि त्यससँग पाठी किन्ने औकात छैन भने, त्यसले आफ्नो पापको निम्ति परमप्रभुकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा दुईवटा ढुकुर वा दुईवटा परेवाका बच्चा ल्याओस्, एउटाचाहिँ पापबलिको निम्ति र अर्को होमबलिको निम्ति ।
8 And he shall take them in unto the priest, who shall bring near that which is for a sin-bearer first, —and shall nip through the neck close to the head but shall not divide it asunder.
त्यसले त्यो पुजारीकहाँ ल्याओस्, जसले पहिला एउटालाई पापबलिको निम्ति अर्पण गर्ने छ । त्यसले त्यसको घाँटीबाट त्यसको टाउको निमोठोस्, तर त्यसको शरीरबाट त्यसलाई पूर्ण रूपमा नछुटाओस् ।
9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-bearer upon the wall of the altar, and the remainder of the blood, shall he drain out at the base of the altar, —a, sin-bearer, it is.
त्यसपछि त्यसले पापबलिको केही रगत वेदीको वरिपरि छर्कोस्, र बाँकी रगतचाहिँ वेदीको फेदमा खन्याओस् । योचाहिँ पापबलि हो ।
10 And of the second, shall he make an ascending-sacrifice according to the regulation, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, because of his sin which he hath committed and it shall be forgiven him.
त्यसपछि निर्देशनहरूमा वर्णन गरिएअनुसार त्यसले दोस्रो चरोलाई होमबलिको रूपमा अर्पण गरोस्, र त्यसले गरेको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यस मानिसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
11 But if his hand cannot lay hold of two turtledove, or two young pigeons, then shall he bring in as his oblation—because he hath sinned—the tenth of an ephah of fine meal for bearing sin, —he shall not put thereon oil, neither shall he lay thereon frankincense, for a sin-bearer, it is.
तर यदि त्यससँग दुई ढुकुर वा दुई परेवाका बच्चा किन्ने औकात छैन भने, त्यसले आफ्नो पापको निम्ति बलिको रूपमा आधा पाथी मसिनो पिठोको पापबलि ल्याओस् । त्यो पापबलि भएको कारण त्यसले त्यसमा तेल वा धूप नराखोस् ।
12 And he shall bring it in unto the priest, and the priest shall take therefrom a handful, as the memorial thereof, and shall make a perfume at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, —a sin-bearer, it is.
त्यसले त्यो पुजारीकहाँ ल्याओस्, र पुजारीले त्यसबाट एक मुट्ठी चिन्हको रूपमा लिएर परमप्रभुको निम्ति वेदीमा आगोको बलिमाथि जलाओस् । यो पापबलि हो ।
13 So shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, on account of his sin which he hath committed, departing from some one of these things, and it shall be forgiven him, —then shall it be the priest’s, like the meal-offering.
त्यस मानिसले गरेका सबै पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यस मानिसलाई क्षमा हुने छ । अन्नबलिमा झैँ भेटीबाट बाँकी रहेको जति सबै पुजारीको हुने छ’ ।”
14 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying—
अनि परमप्रभु मोशासँग यसो भनेर बोल्नुभयो,
15 Whensoever, any person, shall commit a trespass, and shall take away by mistake, from the holy things of Yahweh, then shall he bring in as his guilt-bearer unto Yahweh, a ram without defect out of the flock, with thine estimate in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt-bearer:
“यदि कसैले अजानमा परमप्रभुका कुराहरूको सम्बन्धमा पाप गर्दछ र अविश्वासपूर्वक काम गर्दछ भने, त्यसले परमप्रभुकहाँ आफ्नो दोषबलि ल्याओस् । यो बलिचाहिँ दोषबलिको रूपमा बगालको निष्खोट भेडा होस्; जसको मूल्य पवित्रस्थानको चाँदीको शेकेल बराबरको हुनुपर्छ ।
16 that, moreover, which he took away from the sanctuary, shall he make good and the fifth part thereof, shall he add thereunto, and shall give it to the priest, —and, the priest, shall put a propitiatory-covering over him with the guilt-bearing ram and it shall be forgiven him.
जे पवित्र छ त्यसको विरुद्ध गरेको पापको कारण त्यसले परमप्रभुलाई प्रसन्न तुल्याउनुपर्छ, र त्यसमा पाँचौँ भाग थपेर पुजारीलाई दिनुपर्छ । त्यसपछि दोषबलिको त्यो भेडा लिएर पुजारीले त्यस मानिसको निम्ति प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
17 And if any person when he shall sin, and do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, —though he knew it not, shall so become guilty, and shall bear his iniquity,
परमप्रभुले नगर्नू भनी आज्ञा गर्नुभएको कुनै कुरा कसैले गर्दछ भने, त्यसबारे त्यो अजान भए तापनि, त्यो दोषी हुने छ र आफ्नो दोषको भार त्यसले आफैँ बोक्नुपर्छ ।
18 then shall he bring in a ram without defect out of the flock by thine estimate as a guilt-bearer unto the priest, —and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over him, on account of his mistake which he made though he knew it not and it shall be forgiven him:
त्यसले बगालबाट प्रचलित मूल्य बराबरको एउटा निष्खोट भेडा पुजारीकहाँ दोषबलिको रूपमा ल्याओस् । त्यसले अजानमा गरेको पापको निम्ति पुजारीले प्रायश्चित्त गर्ने छ, र त्यसलाई क्षमा हुने छ ।
19 a guilt-bearer, it is, —he was, verily guilty against Yahweh.
यो दोषबलि हो, र त्यो निश्चय नै परमप्रभुको अगि दोषी छ ।”
