< Leviticus 3 >

1 But, if a peace-offering, be his oblation, if, of the herd, he himself, be bringing near, —whether male or female, without defect, shall he bring it near before Yahweh.
“‘Iruta rĩa mũndũ rĩngĩkorwo nĩ iruta rĩa ũiguano-rĩ, nake arute nyamũ rũũru-inĩ rwa ngʼombe, ĩrĩ ya njamba kana ya nga, nĩakĩnengere Jehova nyamũ ĩtarĩ na kaũũgũ.
2 Then shall he lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and slay it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron the priests shall dash the blood against the altar round about,
Mũndũ ũcio nĩaigĩrĩre guoko gwake igũrũ rĩa mũtwe wa nyamũ ĩyo ya iruta rĩake, na acooke amĩthĩnjĩre hau mũromo-inĩ wa Hema-ya-Gũtũnganwo. Nao ariũ a Harũni, athĩnjĩri-Ngai, nĩmakaminjaminjĩria kĩgongona thakame yayo mĩena yothe.
3 Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;
Kuuma iruta-inĩ rĩu rĩa ũiguano, nĩakarutĩra Jehova nyama imwe cia gũcinwo na mwaki: nacio nĩ rũambũ rũrĩa ruothe rũhumbĩire nyama cia nda na rũrĩa rũnyiitaine nacio,
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which is upon them, which is upon the loins, —and the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it.
higo cierĩ hamwe na maguta marĩa macihumbĩire hakuhĩ na honge, na maguta marĩa mahumbĩire ini, amarutanĩrie na higo icio.
5 Then shall the sons of Aaron make thereof a perfume at the altar, upon the ascending-sacrifice which is on the wood, which is on the fire, —an altar-flame of a satisfying odour unto Yahweh.
Nao ariũ a Harũni macicinĩre kĩgongona-inĩ igũrũ, ciigĩrĩirwo igũrũ rĩa iruta rĩu rĩa njino rĩrĩa narĩo rĩigĩrĩirwo igũrũ rĩa ngũ irakana, rĩrĩ iruta rĩa gũcinwo na mwaki, rĩrĩ na mũtararĩko mwega wa gũkenia Jehova.
6 But, if out of the flock, be his oblation for a peace-offering unto Yahweh, whether male or female—without defect, shall he bring it near.
“‘Mũndũ angĩkaaruta nyamũ rũũru-inĩ rwa mbũri, ĩrĩ ya kũrutĩra Jehova iruta rĩa ũiguano, nĩakaruta ndũrũme kana mwatĩ itarĩ na kaũũgũ.
7 If a young sheep, he himself, be bringing near as his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.
Angĩkaaruta gatũrũme-rĩ, nĩagakaneana mbere ya Jehova.
8 And he shall lean his hand upon the head of his oblation, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash the blood thereof against the altar round about.
Nĩakaigĩrĩra guoko gwake igũrũ rĩa mũtwe wa nyamũ ĩyo ya iruta rĩake, na acooke amĩthĩnjĩre mbere ya Hema-ya-Gũtũnganwo. Nao ariũ a Harũni moe thakame yako mamĩminjaminjĩrie kĩgongona kĩu mĩena yothe.
9 Then shall he bring near out of the peace-offering, an altar-flame unto Yahweh, the fat thereof the fat-tail thereof entire close to the backbone, shall he remove it, —and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;
Kuuma harĩ iruta rĩu rĩa ũiguano, nĩakarutĩra Jehova nyama imwe cia gũcinwo na mwaki: nacio nĩ maguta mako, na mũtingʼoe wothe ũrĩa mũnoru ũtinĩirio gĩtina-inĩ kĩa rũcuthĩ, na maguta ma rũambũ mothe marĩa mahumbĩire nyama cia nda, na marĩa manyiitaine nacio,
10 and the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, —and the caul that is on the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

11 Then shall the priest make a perfume, at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame, unto Yahweh.
Nake mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai nĩagacicinĩra kĩgongona-inĩ irĩ irio, rĩĩrĩ nĩ iruta rĩrutĩirwo Jehova rĩa gũcinwo na mwaki.
12 But if a goat, be his oblation, then shall he bring it near, before Yahweh.
“‘Na angĩkorwo iruta rĩake nĩ mbũri, nĩamĩneane mbere ya Jehova.
13 And he shall lean his hand upon its head, and shall slay it before the tent of meeting, —and the sons of Aaron shall dash its blood against the altar, round about.
Nĩaigĩrĩre guoko gwake igũrũ rĩa mũtwe wayo, na acooke amĩthĩnjĩre mbere ya Hema-ya-Gũtũnganwo. Nao ariũ a Harũni moe thakame yayo, mamĩminjaminjĩrie kĩgongona mĩena yothe.
14 Then shall he bring near therefrom as his oblation an altar-flame unto Yahweh, —the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;
Kuuma harĩ kĩrĩa akaaheana, nĩakarutĩra Jehova iruta rĩa gũcinwo na mwaki: na nĩ maguta mothe ma rũambũ marĩa mahumbĩrĩte nyama ciothe cia nda na marĩa manyiitaine nacio,
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them which is on the loins, —the caul upon the liver, on the kidneys, shall he remove it.

16 Then shall the priest make a perfume at the altar, —the food of an altar-flame for a satisfying odour, —all the fat—unto Yahweh.
Nake mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai nĩagacicinĩra kĩgongona-inĩ irĩ irio, rĩĩrĩ nĩ iruta rĩa gũcinwo na mwaki, rĩrĩ na mũtararĩko mwega. Maguta mothe nĩ ma Jehova.
17 An age-abiding statute to your generations, in all your dwellings, —none of the fat nor of the blood, shall ye eat.
“‘Ũndũ ũyũ ũgaatuĩka watho wa gũtũũra ũrũmagĩrĩrwo nĩ njiaro iria igooka, kũrĩa guothe mũgaatũũra: Mũtikanarĩe maguta kana thakame.’”
