Leviticus 24
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto thee—pure oil olive, beaten, for giving light, —to cause the lamp to burn up continually.
Ordena a los hijos de Israel que te den aceite de oliva limpio para la luz, de modo que la luz pueda estar ardiendo en todo momento.
3 Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually, —a statute age-abiding, to your generations.
Fuera del velo del arca en la Tienda de reunión; que Aarón ordenará que esté ardiendo desde la tarde hasta la mañana en todo momento ante el Señor. Es una regla para siempre a través de todas sus generaciones.
4 Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps, —before Yahweh, continually.
Aarón pondrá las luces en orden sobre el candelabro ante el Señor en todo momento.
5 And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes, —of two-tenths, shall each cake be.
Y toma la mejor harina y haga doce panes, una quinta parte de un efa en cada pan.
6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, —upon the pure table, before Yahweh.
Y ponlos en dos líneas, seis en línea, sobre la mesa santa delante del Señor.
7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, —so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.
Y en la línea de panes, coloca incienso de olor Fragante, como recordatorio en el pan, una ofrenda quemada al Señor.
8 Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually, —from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:
Cada sábado, el sacerdote debe ponerlo en orden delante del Señor, se ofrece por parte de los hijos de Israel, un pacto hecho para siempre.
9 so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, —for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.
Y será para Aarón y sus hijos; deben tomarla para comer en un lugar santo. Es la más santa de todas las ofrendas quemadas al Señor, una regla para siempre.
10 And forth went the son of a woman of Israel—he being the son of a man of Egypt—in the midst of the sons of Israel;
Y un hijo de una mujer israelita, cuyo padre era egipcio, salió entre los hijos de Israel y peleó contra un hombre de Israel en las tiendas;
11 and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses, —now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
Y el hijo de la mujer israelita dijo mal contra el santo Nombre, con maldiciones; y se lo llevaron a Moisés. El nombre de su madre era Selomit, la hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.
12 and they put him in ward, —that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.
Y lo tuvieron bajo vigilancia, hasta que la boca del Señor pudiera tomar una decisión.
13 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
14 Bring forth him that reviled unto the outside of the camp, then shall all that heard [him] lean their hands upon his head, —and all the assembly shall stone him.
Toma al que maldijo fuera del campamento de la tienda; y que todos los que lo oyeron, pongan sus manos sobre su cabeza, y que todo el pueblo lo apedree.
15 And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying, —What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
Y di a los hijos de Israel: En cuanto a cualquier hombre que maldice a Dios, su pecado estará sobre su cabeza.
16 And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him, —as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.
Y el que dice mal contra el nombre del Señor, ciertamente será condenado a muerte; será apedreado por todo el pueblo; El hombre que no es de tu nación y el que es israelita de nacimiento, el que dice mal contra el santo Nombre, debe ser condenado a muerte.
17 And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,
Y cualquiera que tome la vida de otro debe ser condenado a muerte.
18 And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good, —life for life.
Y cualquiera que hiera a una bestia y cause su muerte, tendrá que pagarla: una vida por una vida.
19 And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:
Y si un hombre hace daño a su prójimo, como lo ha hecho, así le sea hecho;
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.
Herida por herida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; cualquier daño que haya hecho, así hágase con él.
21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good, -and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.
El que mata a una bestia tendrá que pagarla; el que mata a un hombre, él mismo será muerto.
22 One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be, —For, I—Yahweh, am your God.
Debes tener la misma ley para un hombre de otra nación que viva entre ustedes como para un israelita; porque yo soy el Señor tu Dios.
23 So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
Entonces Moisés dijo estas palabras a los hijos de Israel, y tomaron al hombre que había estado maldiciendo fuera del círculo de la tienda y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron lo que el Señor le ordenó a Moisés.
