< Leviticus 24 >

1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Awo Mukama Katonda n’agamba Musa nti,
2 Command the sons of Israel, That they bring unto thee—pure oil olive, beaten, for giving light, —to cause the lamp to burn up continually.
“Lagira abaana ba Isirayiri bakuleetere amafuta ag’omuzeeyituuni aga zeyituuni amalungi amaka ag’okukozesa mu ttaala ziryoke zaakenga buli kiseera awatali kusalako.
3 Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron order it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh continually, —a statute age-abiding, to your generations.
Wabweru w’Eggigi ery’Endagaano mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, Alooni w’anaalabiririranga ettabaaza ezo nga zaakira awali Mukama Katonda okuva akawungeezi okutuusa mu makya awatali kusalako. Eryo linaabanga tteeka ery’enkalakkalira ne mu mirembe egigenda okujja.
4 Upon the pure lampstand, shall he order the lamps, —before Yahweh, continually.
Alooni anaalabiriranga ettaala ez’oku kikondo ekya zaabu omuka awali Mukama Katonda nga zaaka awatali kusalako.
5 And thou shalt take fine meal, and bake it, in twelve cakes, —of two-tenths, shall each cake be.
“Ojja kuddiranga obuwunga bw’eŋŋaano obulungi ofumbe emigaati kkumi n’ebiri ng’okozesa desimoolo bbiri eza efa.
6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, —upon the pure table, before Yahweh.
Onoogitegekanga mu nnyiriri bbiri nga mu buli lunyiriri mulimu emigaati mukaaga. Onoogiteekanga ku mmeeza eya zaabu omuka awali Mukama.
7 And thou shalt put upon each row pure frankincense, —so shall it belong unto the bread as a memorial, an altar-flame unto Yahweh.
Era ku buli lunyiriri onooteekangako obubaane obuka nga bugendera wamu n’emigaati nga kye kijjukizo eky’ekiweebwayo eri Mukama Katonda nga kyokeddwa mu muliro.
8 Sabbath day by sabbath day, shall he order it before Yahweh continually, —from the sons of Israel as an age-abiding covenant:
Emigaati egyo ginaategekebwanga awali Mukama buli Ssabbiiti awatali kwosa, ng’ekyo kikolebwa ku lw’abaana ba Isirayiri nga ye ndagaano ey’emirembe n’emirembe.
9 so shall it be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, —for most holy, shall it be unto him from among the altar-flames of Yahweh, a statute age-abiding.
Emigaati egyo ginaabanga gya Alooni ne batabani be, era banaagiriiranga mu kifo ekitukuvu, kubanga giva ku kiweebwayo ekitukuvu ennyo eri Mukama Katonda nga kyokeddwa mu muliro nga kye kiragiro eky’enkalakkalira.”
10 And forth went the son of a woman of Israel—he being the son of a man of Egypt—in the midst of the sons of Israel;
Awo mutabani w’omukazi Omuyisirayiri naye nga kitaawe Mumisiri n’afuluma n’abeera mu baana ba Isirayiri, naye ne wasitukawo olutalo wakati w’omusajja oyo n’Omuyisirayiri, nga bali mu lusiisira.
11 and the son of the woman of Israel, and a man of Israel, reviled one another in the camp. And the son of the Israelitish woman uttered contemptuously the Name, and reviled. So they brought him in unto Moses, —now, the name of his mother, was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
Mutabani w’omukazi Omuyisirayiri n’avvoola Erinnya lya Mukama, era n’akolima. Ne bamuleeta eri Musa. Nnyina ye yali Seromisi, muwala wa Dibuli ow’omu kika kya Ddaani.
12 and they put him in ward, —that a clear answer might be given to them at the mouth of Yahweh.
Ne bamuggalira mu kkomera okutuusa Mukama Katonda lw’anaabategeeza ekinaakolebwa.
13 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:
Awo Mukama Katonda n’agamba Musa nti,
14 Bring forth him that reviled unto the outside of the camp, then shall all that heard [him] lean their hands upon his head, —and all the assembly shall stone him.
“Eyavvodde mumufulumye ebweru w’olusiisira. Abo bonna abaamuwulidde ng’avvoola bateeke emikono gyabwe ku mutwe gwe; oluvannyuma ekibiina kyonna kiryoke kimukube amayinja.
15 And, unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak saying, —What man soever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
Tegeeza abaana ba Isirayiri nti omuntu yenna anaakolimiranga Katonda we anaabanga n’obuvunaanyizibwa olw’ekibi ekyo.
16 And, he that contemptuously uttereth the name of Yahweh, shall be, surely put to death, all the assembly shall, surely stone, him, —as the sojourner so the home-born, when he contemptuously uttereth the Name, he shall be put to death.
Oyo yenna anavvoolanga erinnya lya Mukama Katonda anattibwanga. Ekibiina kyonna kinaamukubanga amayinja. Ne bw’anaabanga omugwira oba Omuyisirayiri, bw’anavvoolanga Erinnya anattibwanga.
17 And, when, any man, by smiting taketh the life of any human being, he shall be surely put to death,
“Anattanga omuntu naye anattibwanga.
18 And he that by smiting taketh away the life of a beast, shall make it good, —life for life.
Omuntu yenna anattanga ensolo ya munne anaagimuliyiranga, ensolo ku nsolo.
19 And, when, any man, inflicteth a blemish upon his neighbour, as he hath done, so, shall it be done to him:
Omuntu bw’anaaleetanga akamogo ku munne n’amulumya, ekyo ky’akoze ku munne naye kye kinaamukolwangako:
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he inflicteth a blemish upon a human being, so, shall one be inflicted upon him.
obuvune olw’obuvune, eriiso olw’eriiso, erinnyo olw’erinnyo; nga bw’anaabanga alumizza munne, naye bw’atyo bw’anaalumizibwanga.
21 And he that killeth a beast, shall make it good, -and he that killeth a human being, shall be put to death.
Omuntu anattanga ensolo ya munne anaagimuliyiranga, n’oyo anattanga omuntu naye waakuttibwanga.
22 One rule, shall ye have, as the sojourner, so the home-born, shall be, —For, I—Yahweh, am your God.
Etteeka lye limu lye linaafuganga omugwira era n’Omuyisirayiri. Nze Mukama Katonda wammwe.”
23 So then Moses spake unto the sons of Israel, and they took forth the reviler, unto the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus, the sons of Israel did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
Bw’atyo Musa n’ategeeza abaana ba Isirayiri, ne bafulumya eyavvoola ebweru w’olusiisira ne bamukuba amayinja n’afa. Abaana ba Isirayiri baakola nga Mukama bwe yalagira Musa.
