< Leviticus 22 >

1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, That they hold sacredly aloof from the holy things of the sons of Israel, so as not to profane my holy name, —in the things which they are hallowing unto me—I, am Yahweh.
Aaron hoi a capanawk loe Israel kaminawk mah paek o ih kaciim hmuennawk hoi kamhoe ah oh o han oh; kai khaeah paek o ih kaciim hmuennawk hoiah ka hmin to amhnong o sak han om ai, tiah thui paeh; Kai loe Angraeng ah ka oh, tiah a naa.
3 Say unto them—Unto your generations, as touching any man who cometh near from among any of your seed, unto the hallowed things which the sons of Israel may hallow unto Yahweh, while his uncleanness is upon him, then shall that person be cut off from before me—I, am Yahweh.
Angzo han koi caanawk boih thung ih, ciimcai ai kami mah, Israel kaminawk mah Angraeng khaeah ciimcai ah paek o ih kaciim hmuen taengah caeh nahaeloe, to kami to Ka hmaa hoi kamhoe ah suem oh; Kai loe Angraeng ah ka oh.
4 No man soever of the seed of Aaron who is a leper, or hath a flux, shall eat of the holy things, until he be clean, —And as for him who toucheth anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
Aaron ih caanawk thungah ngansae man kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe ahmaa thung hoiah ahnai tacawt kami maw om nahaeloe, ciimcai ai karoek to anih loe, kaciim ah paek ih hmuennawk to caa mak ai. Mi kawbaktih doeh ciimcai ai qok sui kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe tangzat tui pathok nongpa maw,
5 or a man who toucheth any creeping thing, which is unclean to him, —or [toucheth] any human being who hath uncleanness, to the extent of any thing that maketh him unclean,
to tih ai boeh loe ciimcai ai long ah kavak hmuen maeto sui kami maw, kami maeto mah ciimcai ai ah ohsak ih kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe kaciim ai hmuen maeto mah akap thuih ih kami loe ciimcai ai kami ah oh boeh.
6 any person who toucheth any such, shall then be unclean until the evening, —and shall not eat of the hallowed things, unless he bathe his flesh in water.
To baktih ciimcai ai hmuen sui kami loe, duembang khoek to ciim mak ai; tui amhluh ai ah loe anih mah kaciim ah paek ih hmuennawk to caa mak ai.
7 When the sun tooth in, then is he clean, —and thereafter, he may eat of the hallowed things, for, his food, it is.
Anih loe niduem naah ni ciim vop tih, kaciim ah paek ih hmuen loe nihcae ih buh ah oh pongah, ciim pacoengah ni kaciim ah paek ih hmuen to caa o thai vop tih.
8 That which dieth of itself or is torn in pieces, shall he not eat to make himself unclean thereby, —I, am Yahweh.
Angmah koeh ah kadueh moi hoi moisan mah kaek ih moi to caa hmah; a takpum amhnong hanah to baktih moi to caak han om ai; Kai loe Angraeng ah ka oh.
9 Therefore shall they keep my charge, and shall not bear, for it, sin, and die therein, when they profane it, —I—Yahweh, am hallowing them.
Qaimanawk loe amhnong o moe, angmacae zaehaih pongah, a duek o han ai ah, ka paek ih loknawk to pazui o han oh; Kai loe nihcae ciimsakkung, Angraeng ah ka oh.
10 And, no stranger, shall eat what is hallowed, —neither, one who dwelleth with a priest nor a hireling shall eat what is hallowed.
Prae kalah kami loe kaciim ah paek ih hmuen to caa mak ai; qaima im ah katoem angvin maw, to tih ai boeh loe anih mah tlai ih kami mah doeh kaciim ah paek ih hmuen to caa mak ai.
11 But when, a priest, buyeth any person, as the purchase of his silver, he may eat thereof, —and, the children of his household, they, may eat of his food.
Toe qaima mah angmah ih phoisa hoi qan ih kami maw, to tih ai boeh loe angmah ih imthung ah tapen kami loe, buh to caa thai tih.
12 And, when, a priest’s daughter, belongeth to a husband, who is a stranger, she, of the heave-offering of the hallowed things, may not eat.
Qaima canu to minawk kalah khaeah sava sah nahaeloe, kaciim ah paek ih hmuen to caa thai mak ai.
13 But, when a priest’s daughter, cometh to be a widow or divorced and hath no seed, and so she returneth unto the house of her father, as in her youth, of the food of her father, she may eat, —but no stranger, shall eat thereof.
Toe qaima canu loe lamhmai maw, to tih ai boeh loe sava hoi ampraek ving moe, caa sah ai ah ampa im ah amlaem let pacoengah, tangla nathuem ih baktih toengah ampa im ah om nahaeloe, ampa ih buh to caa thai tih; toe minawk kalah mah loe caa thai mak ai.
14 And, when, any man, eateth what is hallowed, by mistake, then shall he add the fifth part of it thereunto, and give unto the priest the hallowed thing:
Panoek ai ah kaciim ah paek ih hmuen to caa moeng kami loe, a caak moeng ih hmuen hoi nawnto ah pangato thungah maeto thap moe, qaima khaeah paek han angaih.
15 So shall they not profane the hallowed things of the sons of Israel, —which they heave up unto Yahweh;
Israel kaminawk mah Angraeng khaeah paek o ih, kaciim hmuen to qaima mah amhnongsak han om ai;
16 nor cause them to bear guilty iniquity, when they eat their hallowed things, —For, I—Yahweh, am hallowing them.
to tiah paek ih kaciim hmuen to caak moeng pongah, anih nuiah zaehaih kraksak han om ai; Kai loe nihcae ciimsakkung, Angraeng ah ka oh, tiah a thuih, tiah thui paeh, tiah a naa.
17 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
18 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them—What man, soever, of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, may bring near his oblation, as regardeth any of their vows, or any of their freewill offerings which they may bring near unto Yahweh, as an ascending-sacrifice,
Aaron hoi a capanawk hoi Israel kaminawk boih khaeah, Israel imthung takoh thung hoi tacawt kami mah maw, to tih ai boeh loe Israel kaminawk salakah kaom prae kalah kami mah maw, lokkamhaih sak ih baktiah hmuen tathlanghaih maw, to tih ai boeh loe angmah koeh ah sak ih hmuen tathlanghaih maw, Angraeng khaeah hmai angbawnhaih ah sak naah;
19 that ye may be accepted, [it must be] a male without defect, of the beeves, or of the sheep, or of the goats:
talawk thai koiah kaom coek koi kaom ai, maitaw tae maw, tuu hoi maeh maw paek han oh.
20 whatsoever hath in it a blemish, shall ye not bring near, —for it shall not be accepted for you.
Toe coek koi kaom hmuen to paek hmah; to baktih hmuen loe talawk thai koi hmuen ah om ai;
21 And, whosoever would bring near a peace-offering unto Yahweh, to consecrate a vow or as a freewill-offering with a bullock or a sheep, without defect, shall it be, to be accepted, no, blemish, shall be therein.

22 Blind, or broken, or rent, or having a running sore, or scurvy, or scab, ye shall not bring these near unto Yahweh, —and no, altar-flame, shall ye present therefrom upon the altar, unto Yahweh.
Kawbaktih hmuen doeh mikmaeng, to tih ai boeh loe ahuh angkhaek, to tih ai boeh loe khokkhaem, khokban akoep ai, to tih ai boeh loe ahlut hoi ahnai kaom hmuen hoiah Angraeng khaeah hmuen tathlanghaih to sah hmah; Angraeng han hmaicam pongah hmai angbawnhaih to sah hmah;
23 Whether an ox or a lamb long or short limb, as a free-will offering, thou mayest offer it, but, for a vow, it shall not be accepted.
na palung angthawkhaih hoi paek ih hmuen ah loe, coek koi kaom maitaw maw, tuu maw na paek thaih; toe lokkamhaih baktiah hmuen tathlanghaih sak naah loe coek koi kaom hmuen to talawk thai mak ai.
24 But that which is bruised in the stones or broken therein, or torn or cut, shall ye neither bring ear unto Yahweh, nor on your own land, shall ye offer.
Ngan kabawk, to tih ai boeh loe ahmaa kaom, to tih ai boeh loe ahuh angkhaek, to tih ai boeh loe aahhaih ahmaa kaom moi to Angraeng han paek hmah; na prae thungah to baktih moi tathlanghaih to sah hmah.
25 Even at the hand of the son of a stranger, shall ye not bring near the food of your God of any of these, —for, their damage is in them, a blemish, is in them, they shall not be accepted for you.
To baktih moi to prae kalah kami mah Angraeng khaeah paek langlacadoeh, akoep ai moe, coek koi doeh oh pongah, talawk thai mak ai, tiah a naa.
26 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying: —
Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
27 When, a beeve or a sheep or a goat, is brought forth, then shall it be seven days under its dam, —and, from the eighth day and onwards, it shall be accepted as an oblation of an altar-flame unto Yahweh,
maitaw tae maw, to tih ai boeh loe tuu maw, to tih ai boeh loe maeh to tapen naah, ni sarihto thung amno khaeah omsak ah; ni tazetto pacoengah loe Angraeng khaeah hmai angbawnhaih to sak thai boeh.
28 Whether cow or ewe—it and its young, shall ye not slaughter on one day.
Maitaw maw, tuu maw, nito thungah a caa hoi nawnto bop hmaek hmah.
29 And when ye would offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto Yahweh, for your acceptance, shall ye offer it.
Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih hmuen to na paek o naah, na palung angthawkhaih baktih toengah paek oh.
30 On the same day, shall it be eaten, ye shall not leave thereof until morning, —I, am Yahweh.
Na paek niah moi to caa o boih ah; khawnbang khoek to suem o hmah; Kai loe Angraeng ah ka oh.
31 So then ye shall observe my commandments, and do them, —I, am Yahweh.
To pongah ka paek ih lok hae pakuem ah loe pazui ah; Kai loe Angraeng ah ka oh.
32 So shall ye not profane my holy name, So shall I be hallowed in the midst of the sons of Israel, —I, am Yahweh, who am hallowing you;
Kaciim Kai ih ahmin to amhnong o sak hmah; Kai loe Ka ciim, tiah Israel kaminawk mah poek o han oh; Kai loe nangcae ciimsakkung, Angraeng ah ka oh,
33 Who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that I might become your God, —I, am Yahweh.
