< Leviticus 18 >
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:
Hoe ty nitsara’ Iehovà amy Mosè:
2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, —I—Yahweh, am your God: —
Misaontsia amo ana’ Israeleo, taroño ty hoe: Izaho Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo.
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do, —And after the doings of the land of Canaan whither, I, am bringing you in, shall ye not do, And, in their statutes, shall ye not walk:
Ko anoe’ areo o satan-tane Mitsraime nimoneña’ areoo; le tsy hanoe’ areo ka o satan-tane Kanàne aneseako anahareoo, tsy hañaveloa’ areo o fañè’ iareoo.
4 My regulations, shall ye do, And, my statutes, shall ye observe to walk therein, —I—Yahweh, am your God.
Hanoe’ areo o fepèkoo vaho hambena’ areo o fañèkoo, hañaveloa’ areo: Izaho Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo.
5 Therefore shall ye observe my statutes, and my regulations, Which if the son of earth shall do them, Then shall he live in them, —I, am Yahweh.
Aa le ambeno o fañèkoo naho o fepèkoo, kanao mahaveloñe ondaty t’ie anoe’e: Izaho Iehovà.
6 No person whatsoever, unto any of the near kin of his own flesh, shall approach to uncover the parts of shame, —I, am Yahweh.
Tsy ama’ areo ty hitotoke an-dongo’e marine, hañafa-tsaron-kameñarañe: Izaho Iehovà.
7 The shame of thy father, even the shame of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover, —thy mother, she is, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
Tsy hafaha’o ty heñan-drae’o ndra ty heñan-drene’o. Rene’o re, tsy haboa’o ty heña’e.
8 The shame of thy father’s wife, shalt thou not uncover, —thy father’s shame, it is.
Ko aboa’o ty heñam-balin-drae’o, fa heñan-drae’o.
9 The shame of thy sister daughter of thy father or daughter of thy mother, born at home or born abroad, thou shalt not uncover their shame.
Le ty heñan-drahavave’o, he anak’ ampelan-drae’o ke anak’ ampelan-drene’o, he t’ie terak’ añ’ anjomba ke te terak’ amontoñe, tsy haboa’o ty heña’e.
10 The shame of the daughter of thy son or the daughter of thy daughter, thou shalt not uncover their shame, —for, thine own shame, they are.
Ty heñan’ anak’ ampelan’ anadahi’o ke anak’ ampelan’ anak’ ampela’o, le tsy haboa’o amy te heña’o ty a’ iareo.
11 The shame of the daughter of thy father’s wife, born to thy father, she being, thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
Ty heñan’ anak’ ampelam-balin-drae’o, i nasaman-drae’oy, tsy haboa’o fa rahavave’o.
12 The shame of thy father’s sister, shalt thou not uncover, —thy father’s near of kin, she is.
Tsy haboa’o ty heñan-drahavaven-drae’o, amy t’ie longon-drae’o.
13 The shame of thy mother’s sister, shalt thou not uncover, —for, thy mother’s near of kin, she is.
Tsy haboa’o ty heñan-drahavaven-drene’o, amy te longon-drene’o.
14 The shame of thy father’s brother, shalt thou not uncover unto his wife, shalt thou not approach, thine aunt, she is.
Tsy haboa’o ty heñan-drahalahin-drae’o. Ko vonje’o i vali’ey, fa rahavaven-drae’o.
15 The shame of thy daughter-in-law, shalt thou not uncover, —thy son’s wife, she is, thou shalt not uncover her shame.
Tsy haboa’o ty heñam-binanto’o, fa valin’ana-dahi’o; tsy haboa’o ty heña’e.
16 The shame of thy brother’s wife, shalt thou not uncover, —the shame of thy brother, it is.
Tsy haboa’o ty heñam-balin-drahalahi’o, fa heñan-drahalahi’o.
17 The shame of a woman, and of her daughter, shalt thou not uncover, —neither the daughter of her son nor the daughter of her daughter, shalt thou take, to uncover her shame, near of kin, they are, wickedness, it is.
Tsy songa haboa’o ty fimeñaran-drakemba naho ty anak’ ampela’e, tsy ho rambese’o ty anak’ ampelan’ anadahi’e ndra ty anak’ ampelan’ anak’ ampela’e hañafahañe ty heña’e; longo’o iereo, hativàñe izay.
18 And, a woman unto her sister, shalt thou not take, —to cause rivalry, by uncovering her shame besides her own while she is living.
Tsy halae’o ka ty ampela hampirafese’o aman-drahavave’e, hampiboake ty heña’e naho mbe veloñe i rahavave’ey.
19 And unto a woman during her removal for uncleanness, shalt thou not approach, to uncover her shame.
Tsy hiharinea’o ka ty ampela hañafaha’o ty heña’e amy faleoram-piambola’ey;
20 And of the wife of thy neighbour, shalt thou not have carnal knowledge, —to commit uncleanness with her.
vaho tsy rantove’o ty vali’ ondaty, hanivà’o vatañe.
21 And none of thy seed, shalt thou deliver up, to cause to pass through to Molech, —that thou profane not the name of thy God, I, am Yahweh.
Ko mañenga ho soroheñe amy Moleka o tarira’oo, hanivà’o ty tahinan’ Añahare’o: Izaho Iehovà.
22 And, with mankind, shalt thou not lie as with womankind, —an abomination, it is.
Tsy hiolotse ami’ty lahilahy irehe, manahake te aman’ ampela. Tiva izay.
23 And of no beast, shalt thou have carnal knowledge to commit uncleanness therewith, —neither shall a woman present herself to a beast to couch down thereto, —confusion, it is.
Tsy hisahe biby irehe hanivà’o vatañe. Le tsy hijohañe añatrefa’ ty biby ty ampela hisahe ama’e; fa ota-faly.
24 Do not make yourselves unclean in any of these things, —For in all these things, have the nations made themselves unclean, whom, I, am sending out from before you.
Ko maniva-vatañe an-dra’ inoñ’ inoñe amy rezay, fa ie ty nahativa o hene foko roàheko aolo’ areoo.
25 Therefore hath the land become unclean, and I have visited the iniquity thereof upon it, —and the land hath vomited her inhabitants.
Izay ty nahaveta i taney; aa le nametsahako fandilovañe, vaho naboloa’ i taney o mpimoneñe ama’eo.
26 Ye, therefore, shall observe my statutes and my regulations, and have nothing to do with any of these abominations, —whether the home-born, or the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst;
Inahareo arè, tambozoro o fañèkoo naho o fepèkoo, ko manao i hativàñe rezay, ndra t’ie foko ndra renetane mañialo ama’ areo ao,
27 For all these abominations, have the men of the land done, who were before you; And so the land hath become unclean:
(amy te ni-fanoe’ ondati’ i taneio, o taolo’ areoo, i hativàñe rezay: vaho nihaveta i taney)
28 So shall the land not vomit you, through your making it unclean, —as it vomited the nation which was before you.
tsy mone haboloa’ i taney ka nahareo naho itivà’ areo, manahake ty nampiboloaña’e i foko limbeze’ areoy?
29 For whosoever shall have anything to do with any of these abominations, the persons who have, shall be cut off, out of the midst of their people.
Aa ndra ia’ ia manao ndra inoñ’ inoñe amy raha tiva rezay, le haitoañe am’ondati’eo indaty manao izay.
30 Therefore shall ye keep my charge, So that ye may have nothing to do with any of the abominable statutes with which they have had to do before you, So shall ye not make yourselves unclean thereby, —I—Yahweh, am your God.
Aa le ambeno o fañèkoo, tsy mone hanoe’ areo o sata’ tiva nanoeñe aolo’ areoo, tsy hanivà’ areo vatañe; Izaho Iehovà Andrianañahare’ areo.
