Leviticus 16
1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, —when they had offered strange fire before Yahweh and died.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés, después de la muerte de los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando tomaron fuego extraño delante del Señor y la muerte los alcanzó;
2 And Yahweh said unto Moses—Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he do not come at all times into the holy place, within the veil, —into the presence of the propitiatory, which is upon the ark, so shall he not die, for, in the cloud, will I appear upon the propitiatory.
El Señor le dijo a Moisés: Dile a Aarón, tu hermano, que no puede venir en todo momento al lugar santo dentro del velo, delante del propiciatorio, por temor a que la muerte lo alcance; porque seré visto en la nube en la cubierta del cofre.
3 Herewith, shall Aaron come into the holy place, —With a bullock the choice of the herd as a sin-bearer, and a ram as an ascending-sacrifice.
Dejemos que Aarón venga al lugar santo de esta manera: con un buey para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el sacrificio.
4 A holy tunic of linen, shall he put on and drawers of linen, shall be upon his flesh, and with a band of linen, shall he gird himself, and with a turban of linen, shall his head be wrapped about, —holy garments, they are, therefore shall he bathe in water his flesh, and so put them on.
Deja que se ponga el saco de lino sagrado, el pantalón de lino sobre su cuerpo, él cinto de lino ceñido y la mitra de lino sobre la cabeza porque esto es ropa santa, y antes de ponerlos sobre su cuerpo, debe ser lavado con agua.
5 And, from the assembly of the sons of Israel, shall he receive two he-goats, for bearing sin, —and one ram, as an ascending-sacrifice.
Y que tome de los hijos de Israel dos chivos para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto.
6 Then shall Aaron bring near the sin-bearing bullock which is for himself, —and put a propitiatory-covering about himself, and about his household.
Y Aarón debe dar el buey de la ofrenda por el pecado para sí mismo, para que él y su casa se liberen del pecado.
7 Then shall he take the two goats, —and cause them to stand before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
Y él tiene que tomar las dos cabras y ponerlas delante del Señor en la puerta de la tienda de la reunión.
8 And Aaron shall cast lots over the two goats, —one lot for Yahweh, and one lot for Azazel.
Y Aarón echará suertes sobre los dos machos cabríos, una suerte para el Señor y una suerte para él macho cabrío expiatorio.
9 Then shall Aaron bring near the goat over which came up the lot for Yahweh, —and shall make of him a sin-bearer;
Y el macho cabrío que está marcada para el Señor, deja que Aarón haga una ofrenda por el pecado.
10 but, the goat over which came up the lot for Azazel, shall he cause to stand alive—before Yahweh to put a propitiatory-covering over him, —to send him away unto Azazel, towards the desert.
Pero el macho cabrío expiatorio debe colocarse vivo delante del Señor, para quitar el pecado, para que pueda ser enviada con todas las maldad de ellos a las tierras del desierto.
11 So Aaron shall bring near the sin-bearing bullock which is for himself, and shall put a propitiatory-covering about himself, and about his household, —and shall slay the sin-bearing bullock which is for himself;
Y Aarón debe dar el becerro de la ofrenda por el pecado para sí mismo y quitar el pecado de sí mismo y de su casa, y matar el becerro de la ofrenda por el pecado que es para sí mismo.
12 and shall take the censer-full of burning coals of fire from off the altar from before Yahweh, and his hands full of fragrant incense, beaten small, —and bring within the veil;
Y él tomará un vaso lleno de brasas que se quema del altar delante del Señor y en su mano un poco de incienso, y lo llevará dentro del velo;
13 and shall put the incense upon the fire before Yahweh, —and the cloud of incense shall cover the propitiatory which is over the testimony, and he shall not die.
Y tomará el incienso sobre el fuego delante del Señor para que el cofre se cubra con una nube del humo del perfume, que está sobre él testimonio para que la muerte no lo alcance.
14 Then shall he take of the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle with his finger upon the face of the propitiatory, eastwards, —and before the propitiatory, shall he sprinkle seven times, of the blood, with his finger.
Y tomará algo de la sangre del buey, sacudiendo sus gotas de su dedo encima del propiciatorio en el lado este, y delante del propiciatorio, siete veces.
15 Then shall he slay the sin-bearing goat which is for the people, and bring in its blood, within the veil, —and do with its blood, as he did to the blood of the bullock, and shall sprinkle it, upon the propitiatory and before the propitiatory:
Entonces, degollara al macho cabrío de la ofrenda por el pecado, y lleva su sangre al interior del velo y haz con él lo que hizo con la sangre del buey, sacudiendo gotas encima y delante del cofre del pacto.
16 so shall he put a propitiatory-covering, over the holy place because of the uncleanness of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions to the extent of all their sins, —and, so, shall he do for the tent of meeting which abideth with them, in the midst of their uncleanness.
Y libere el lugar santo de todo lo que sea inmundo entre los hijos de Israel y de su maldad en todos sus pecados; y que haga lo mismo con la Tienda de reunión, que tiene su lugar entre un pueblo impuro.
17 And no human being, shall be in the tent of meeting, when he cometh in to make a covering by propitiation in the holy place, until he goeth out, —so shall he put a propitiatory-covering about himself and about his household and about all the convocation of Israel.
Y ningún hombre puede estar en la Tienda de reunión desde el momento en que Aarón entra para quitar el pecado en el lugar santo hasta que salga, habiéndose hecho a sí mismo, a su casa y a todo el pueblo de Israel libres del pecado.
18 Then shall he go out unto the altar which is before Yahweh and shall put a propitiatory-covering thereupon, —and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put upon the horns of the altar, round about;
Y saldrá al altar que está delante del Señor y lo liberará del pecado; y él debe tomar algo de la sangre del buey y la sangre del chivo y ponerla en los cuernos del altar y rodearla;
19 and shall sprinkle upon it, of the blood with his finger seven times, —and shall cleanse it and hallow it, from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.
Sacudir las gotas de sangre de su dedo en él siete veces para santificarlo y limpiarlo de todo lo que sea inmundo entre los hijos de Israel.
20 And, when he hath made an end of covering by propitiation the holy place, and the tent of meeting, and the altar, then shall he bring near the living goat.
Y cuando haya hecho lo que sea necesario para hacer que el lugar santo y la Tienda de reunión y el altar estén libres de pecado, ponga al chivo viviente delante del Señor;
21 And Aaron shall lean his two hands upon the head of the living goat, and confess over him, all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions, to the extent of all their sins, —and shall put them upon the head of the goat, and then send him away, by the hand of a man appointed towards the desert:
Y Aarón, poniendo sus dos manos sobre la cabeza del chivo viviente, hará una declaración pública sobre él de todas las malas acciones de los hijos de Israel y de todas sus malas acciones, en todos sus pecados; y los pondrá sobre la cabeza del chivo y lo enviará lejos, al cuidado de un hombre que lo estará esperando allí, lo llevará y soltará en él desierto.
22 so shall the goat bear upon him all their iniquities into a lone land, —and he shall set the goat free, in the desert.
Y él chivo llevará sobre sí, todos sus pecados a una tierra separada de los hombres, y él enviará al chivo al desierto.
23 Then shall Aaron come into the tent of meeting, and put off the linen garments which he put on when he came into the holy place, —and shall leave them there;
Entonces, Aarón entrará en la Tienda de la reunión y se quitará la ropa de lino que se puso cuando entró en el lugar santo, y la dejara allí;
24 and shall bathe his flesh in water in a holy place, and put on his [other] garments, —and go forth, and offer his own ascending-sacrifice, and the ascending-sacrifice of the people, so shall he put a propitiatory-covering about himself, and about the people;
Y después se bañará su cuerpo en agua en un lugar santo, debe ponerse su ropa y salir y dar su ofrenda quemada y la ofrenda quemada de la gente, para quitar su pecado y el pecado de la gente.
25 and, with the fat of the sin-bearer, shall he make a perfume at the altar.
Y la grasa de la ofrenda por el pecado será quemada por él en el altar.
26 And he that sent away the goat unto Azazel, shall wash—his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, —and, after that, shall he come into the camp.
Y el hombre que soltó el chivo; como chivo expiatorio debe lavarse la ropa y bañar su cuerpo en agua para luego regresar al campamento de la tienda.
27 And the, sin-bearing bullock, and the sin-bearing goat whose blood was brought in to make a propitiatory-covering in the holy place, shall be carried forth outside the camp, —and they shall burn up, in fire, their skins and their flesh, and their dung;
Y el becerro de la ofrenda por el pecado y él chivo de la ofrenda por el pecado, cuya sangre fue tomada para hacer que el lugar santo esté libre del pecado, deben ser sacados fuera del campamento de la Tienda, sus pieles, la carne y sus desperdicios serán quemados con fuego.
28 and he that hath burned them, shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, —and, after that, shall he come into the camp.
Y el hombre por el cual son quemados es lavado, su ropa y su cuerpo bañado en agua, para luego regresar al campamento de la tienda.
29 And it shall become unto you, a statute age-abiding, —In the seventh month on the tenth of the month, Shall ye humble you souls And, no work, shall ye do, The home-born, Or the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst;
Y sea para ustedes una orden para siempre: en el séptimo mes, en el décimo día, deben mantenerse a sí mismos sin placer y no hacer ningún tipo de trabajo, los que son israelitas de nacimiento y los de otras tierras. quienes viven entre ustedes.
30 For on this day, shall a propitiatory-covering, be put over you, to cleanse you, —From all your sins before Yahweh, shall ye be clean.
Porque en este día tu pecado será quitado y serás limpio: serás libre de todos tus pecados ante el Señor.
31 A sabbath of sacred rest, it is unto you, Therefore shall ye humble your souls, A statute age-abiding.
Es un sábado especial para ustedes, y ustedes deben humillarse; Es una orden para siempre.
32 Therefore shall the priest who shall be anointed, and installed, to minister as priest in the stead of his father make propitiation, —So then he shall put on the linen garments the holy garments;
Y el hombre sobre cuya cabeza se ha puesto el aceite santo, y que ha sido señalado como sacerdote en lugar de su padre, hará lo que sea necesario para quitar el pecado, y se pondrá la ropa de lino. incluso las ropas santas.
33 And make propitiation for the holy sanctuary, And for the tent of meeting, and for the altar, shall he make propitiation, —Over the priests also and over all the people of the convocation, shall he put a covering by propitiation.
Y hará la purificación del lugar santo y la Tienda de reunión y el altar del pecado; Él quitará el pecado de los sacerdotes y de todo el pueblo.
34 So shall this become unto you an age-abiding statute, —to put a propitiatory-covering over the sons of Israel because of all their sins, Once in the year. And he did, As Yahweh commanded Moses.
Y sea para siempre una orden para ustedes, para que el pecado de los hijos de Israel se pueda quitar una vez al año. Se hizo lo que el Señor le mandó a Moisés.
