Leviticus 15

1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:

Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:

2 Speak unto the sons of Israel, and ye shall say unto them, —When, any man whatsoever, hath a flowing from his flesh, his flux, is, unclean.

Parlez aux enfants d’Israël et dites-leur: Un homme qui a la gonorrhée sera impur.

3 And, this shall be his uncleanness in his flux, —whether his flesh is running with his flux or his flesh hath closed from his flux, his uncleanness, it is.

Or, on jugera qu’il est atteint de cette maladie, lorsqu’à chaque moment s’attachera à sa chair et s’accroîtra une humeur sale.

4 All the bed whereon he that hath the flux lieth, shall be unclean, —and, every piece of furniture whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

Tout lit sur lequel il aura dormi, sera impur, et tout endroit où il se sera assis.

5 And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

Si quelque homme touche son lit, il lavera ses vêtements, et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

6 And, he that sitteth on that whereon he that hath the flux hath sat, shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

S’il s’assied où cet homme s’est assis, il lavera lui aussi ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

7 And, he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the flux, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,

Celui qui aura touché sa chair, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

8 And, when he that hath a flux spitteth on him that is clean, then shall he wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening.

Si un homme, en cet état, jette de sa salive sur celui qui est pur, celui-ci lavera ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

9 And, every saddle whereon he that hath the flux rideth, shall be unclean.

Le bât sur lequel il se sera assis, sera impur;

10 And, whosoever toucheth anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening; and, he that carrieth them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

Et tout ce qui aura été sous celui qui a la gonorrhée sera souillé jusqu’au soir. Celui qui portera quelqu’une de ces choses, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

11 And, whomsoever he that hath the flux toucheth, not having rinsed, his hands in water, then shall he wash his clothes, and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening,

Tout homme qu’aura touché celui qui est en cet état, avant d’avoir lavé ses mains, lavera ses vêtements; et s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

12 And the earthen vessel which he that hath the flux toucheth shall be broken in pieces, —and, every vessel of wood, shall be rinsed in water.

Un vase de terre qu’il aura touché, sera brisé; mais un vase de bois sera lavé dans l’eau;

13 And when he that hath the flux becometh clean from his flux, then shall he number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, —and bathe his flesh in living water, and be clean.

Mais si celui qui endure une pareille maladie guérit, il comptera sept jours après sa purification, et, ses vêtements et tout son corps lavés dans des eaux vives, il sera pur.

14 And, on the eighth day, he shall take for himself two turtle doves or two young pigeons, —and come in before Yahweh, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest;

Mais au huitième jour, il prendra deux tourterelles, ou deux petits de colombe, et il viendra en la présence du Seigneur à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage, et les donnera au prêtre,

15 and the priest shall offer them, one as a sin-bearer and the other as an ascending-sacrifice, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, before Yahweh, because of his flux.

Qui en sacrifiera un pour le péché et l’autre en holocauste; et le prêtre priera pour lui devant le Seigneur, afin qu’il soit purifié de sa gonorrhée.

16 And, when there goeth out from, any man, an outflow of seed, then shall he bathe all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the evening.

Un homme qui a usé du mariage, lavera dans l’eau tout son corps, et il sera impur jusqu’au soir.

17 And, in the case of any garment or any skin whereupon there shall come to be an outflow of seed, then shall it be washed in water, and be unclean until the evening.

Il lavera dans l’eau le vêtement et la peau qu’il avait sur lui, et elle sera impure jusqu’au soir.

18 Also, a woman with whom man lieth carnally, then shall they bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

La femme dont il se sera approché sera lavée dans l’eau, et elle sera impure jusqu’au soir.

19 And, when a, woman, hath a flow, and her flow in her flesh is, blood, seven days, shall she continue in her removal, and whosoever toucheth her, shall be unclean until the evening;

Une femme, qui au retour du mois éprouve un écoulement de sang, sera séparée pendant sept jours.

20 and, whatsoever she lieth upon in her removal, shall be unclean, —and, whatsoever she sitteth upon, shall be unclean;

Quiconque la touchera sera impur jusqu’au soir;

21 and whosoever toucheth her bed, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until the evening;

Et l’endroit dans lequel elle aura dormi, ou se sera assise dans les jours de sa séparation, sera souillé.

22 and, whosoever toucheth any thing whereon she sitteth shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening;

Celui qui aura touché son lit, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

23 and, whether, on her bed, it is, or on any thing whereon she hath been sitting, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the evening;

Quiconque aura touché un meuble, quel qu’il soit, sur lequel elle se sera assise, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, il sera souillé jusqu’au soir.

24 and if man shall even lie with her, and her cause for removal be upon him, then shall he be unclean seven days, —and, all the bed whereon he shall lie, shall be unclean.

Si un homme s’approche d’elle dans le temps de ses mois, il sera impur pendant sept jours; et tout lit sur lequel il dormira sera souillé.

25 And when any woman’s, flow of blood lasteth many day, outside the time of her removal, or when it floweth beyond her removal, all the days of her unclean flow, shall she be as in the days of her removal—unclean, she is.

Une femme, qui éprouve pendant plusieurs jours une perte de sang, hors le temps menstruel, ou qui après le sang menstruel ne cesse pas d’avoir cette perte, tant qu’elle sera atteinte de cette maladie, sera impure, comme si elle était dans le temps menstruel.

26 All the bed whereon she lieth during all the days of her flow, like her bed in her removal, shall be to her, —and, every thing whereon she sitteth, shall be, unclean, like the uncleanness in her removal;

Tout lit sur lequel elle aura dormi, et tout meuble sur lequel elle aura été assise, sera souillé.

27 and whosoever toucheth them, shall be unclean, —and shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening.

Quiconque aura touché ces choses, lavera ses vêtements; et lui-même, s’étant lavé dans l’eau, sera impur jusqu’au soir.

28 But, if she be clean from her flow, then shall she count to herself seven days and afterwards, shall she count herself clean.

Si le sang s’arrête, et cesse découler, elle comptera sept jours jusqu’à sa purification;

29 And, on the eighth day, shall she take to herself two turtle doves, or two young pigeons, —and bring them in unto the priest, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting;

Et au huitième jour, elle offrira pour elle au prêtre deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes à la porte du tabernacle de témoignage.

30 and the priest shall offer the one as a sin-bearer, and the other as an ascending-sacrifice, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over her, before Yahweh, because of her unclean flow.

Le prêtre en sacrifiera un pour le péché et l’autre en holocauste; et il priera pour elle devant le Seigneur, et pour la cause de son impureté.

31 Thus shall ye warn the sons of Israel from their uncleanness, And they shall not die in their uncleanness, By reason of their making unclean my habitation which is in their midst.

Vous instruirez donc les enfants d’Israël, afin qu’ils se gardent de l’impureté, et qu’ils ne meurent point dans leurs souillures, lorsqu’ils auront profané mon tabernacle, qui est au milieu de vous.

32 This, is the law—Of him that hath a flux, —And of him from whom goeth an outflow of seed, making unclean thereby;

Telle est la loi de celui qui a la gonorrhée, et qui se souille en usant du mariage,

33 And of her that is unwell with her cause for removal, And of him whose flux floweth, For the male, and for the female, —And for a man who lieth with her that is unclean.

Et de celle qui est séparée à cause de ses mois, ou qui éprouve une perte de sang continuelle, et de l’homme qui aura dormi avec elle.
