Judges 5
1 Then sang Deborah, and Barak, son of Abinoam, —on that day, saying: —
Ary Debora sy Baraka, zanak’ i Abinoama, dia nihira tamin’ izany andro izany ka nanao hoe:
2 For the leadership of leaders in Israel, For the volunteering of the people, —Bless ye Yahweh!
Noho ny fitarihan’ ny lehibe tamin’ ny Isiraely sy ny fahazotoan’ ny vahoaka nanolotena, dia miderà an’ i Jehovah.
3 Hear, ye kings! Give ear, ye princes! I, unto Yahweh, —I, will sing, Will make melody to Yahweh, God of Israel.
Mandrenesa ianareo, ry mpanjaka, mihainoa ianareo, ry mpanapaka! Izaho indrindra no hihira ho an’ i Jehovah; hankalaza an’ i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely, aho.
4 O Yahweh! When thou didst come forth out of Seir, When thou didst march along out of the field of Edom, Earth, trembled, Heaven also, poured forth, —Yea, dark clouds, poured forth waters;
Jehovah ô, fony nivoaka avy tany Seïra Hianao ary nandeha avy tany amin’ ny tany Edoma, dia nihorohoro ny tany, ary ny lanitra koa nitete; Eny, ny rahona matevina nitete rano.
5 From, mountains, came down streams In presence of Yahweh, —From this Sinai, In presence of Yahweh, God of Israel.
Ny tendrombohitra niempo teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah. Eny, na dia iry Sinay iry aza teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely.
6 In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the roads were forsaken, —and, the frequenters of highways, betook them to roundabout paths:
Tamin’ ny andron’ i Samgara, zanak’ i Anata, sy tamin’ ny andron’ i Jaela dia tsy nodiavina ny lalambe, fa ny sakeli-dalana mivilivily no nalehan’ ny mpandeha.
7 There was a failure of rulers, in Israel, a failure, —until I arose, a Deborah, arose, a mother in Israel: —
Lao ny tany an-tsaha; eny, lao tamin’ ny Isiraely izany, Mandra-pitsangako, izaho Debora, eny, mandra-pitsangako ho reny teo amin’ ny Isiraely.
8 They chose gods that were new, Then, —war at the gates! Was there, a shield, to be seen? or a spear? among forty thousand in Israel?
Nifidy andriamani-baovao ny olona, Ary tamin’ izay dia nisy ady hatrany am-bavahady. Moa nisy ampinga na lefona na dia iray akory aza hita va teo amin’ ny olona efatra alina tamin’ ny Isiraely?
9 My heart [saith] —for the governors of Israel, for the volunteers among the people, Bless ye Yahweh!
Ny foko mankasitraka ny mpanapaka amin’ ny Isiraely, izay nazoto nanolo-tena teo amin’ ny vahoaka, miderà an’ i Jehovah ianareo.
10 Ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit on carpets, and ye that walk upon the road, speak!
Hianareo izay mitaingina borikivavy fotsy, ianareo izay mipetraka amin’ ny lamba fitoerana, ary ianareo koa izay mandeha amin’ ny lalana, samia milaza.
11 In the place of the noise of bowmen among the wells, there, laud ye—the righteous acts of Yahweh, the righteous acts of his rule over Israel. Then, had come down to the gates the people of Yahweh.
Lavitra ny feon’ ny mpandefa zana-tsipìka, dia eo amin’ ny fantsakan-drano, no hiresahany ny asa marina nataon’ i Jehovah, dia ny fahamarinany tamin’ ny tany Isily; Tamin’ izany dia nidina ny olon’ i Jehovah ho any am-bavahady.
12 Awake! awake! Deborah, Awake! awake! utter words of song, —Arise! Barak, and bind fast thy captives, O son of Abinoam!
Mifohaza, mifohaza, ry Debora; Mifohaza, mifohaza, ka mihirà! Mitsangana, ry Baraka; ento ny babonao, ry zanakalahin’ i Abinoama.
13 Then, came down a remnant to the nobles—a people, —Yahweh, came down with me against the mighty.
Tamin’ izany dia nidina izay olo-malaza sisa mbamin’ ny vahoaka, Jehovah nidina homba ahy koa hamely ny olo-mahery.
14 Out of Ephraim, [came down] they whose root was in Amalek, After thee, Benjamin, among thy tribes, —Out of Machir, had come down governors, And, out of Zebulun, such as bear aloft the staff of the marshal;
Ny avy amin’ i Efraima, izay miorina amin’ i Amaleka, dia nomba anao teo amin’ ny firenenao, ry Benjamina; Avy tany Makira no nidinan’ ny mpanao lalàna, ary avy tamin’ i Zebolona ireo mitana ny tehin’ ny mpifehy.
15 And, my princes in Issachar, were with Deborah, yea, Issachar, was the support of Barak, Into the vale rushed they forth at his feet. Among the divisions of Reuben, great were the resolves of the heart:
Ary ny andrianan’ Isakara niaraka tamin’ i Debora, dia Isakara sy Baraka koa; Nampandehanina nanaraka azy any an-dohasaha izy. Lehibe ny fiheverana am-po teny amin’ ny sakeli-dranon’ i Robena!
16 Wherefore abodes thou among the folds? To hear the mocking of the flocks? The divisions of Reuben, had great counsellings of heart.
Nahoana ianao no nitoetra teo anelanelan’ ny vala, hihainoanao ny feon-tsodina any amin’ ny ondry? Lehibe ny fiheverana am-po teny amin’ ny sakeli-dranon’ i Robena!
17 Gilead, beyond the Jordan, took his rest, but, Dan, wherefore remained he with the ships? Asher, abode by the shore of the seas, and, by his creeks, must needs rest.
Gileada nitoetra tany an-dafin’ i Jordana; Ary nahoana Dana no nitoetra tany an-tsambo? Asera nitoetra tany amoron-dranomasina, Ary teny amin’ ny fitodiany no nipetrahany.
18 Zebulun—a people that scorned their souls unto death; and, Naphtali, —upon the heights of the field.
Zebolona dia firenena nanao tsinontsinona ny ainy, na dia ho faty aza, Ary Naftaly koa teo amin’ ny fitoerana avo any an-tsaha.
19 On came kings, they fought, Then, fought the kings of Canaan, In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo, —Plunder of silver, they took not away!
Tonga ireo mpanjaka ka niady, eny, niady tao Tanaka ireo mpanjakan’ i Kanana, dia teo anilan’ ny ranon’ i Megido; Tsy nisy volafotsy azony ho babo.
20 From heaven, was the battle fought, —The stars in their courses, fought against Sisera.
Avy tany an-danitra no nisy ady: ny kintana tamin’ ny nalehany niady tamin’ i Sisera.
21 The torrent of Kishon, swept them away, the torrent of olden times, the torrent of Kishon! Let my soul march along, with victorious strength!
Ny ony Kisona nipaoka azy, Izany ony ela izany, dia ny ony Kisona. Mandrosoa amin-kery ianao, ry fanahiko!
22 Then, stamped hoofs of horses, With the gallopings, gallopings of his mighty steeds.
Tamin’ izany dia nikatrokatroka ny kitron-tsoavaly noho ny fihazakazaka, dia ny fihazakazaky ny maheriny.
23 Curse ye Meroz, saith the messenger of Yahweh, Curse ye with a curse, the inhabitants thereof, —because they came not in to the help of Yahweh, to the help of Yahweh, against the mighty.
Ozony Meroza, hoy Ilay Anjelin’ i Jehovah, Ozony dia ozòny ny mponina ao, Satria tsy mba tonga hanampy an’ i Jehovah izy, eny, tsy nanampy an’ i Jehovah hamely ny mahery.
24 Blessed above women, shall be Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, —Above women in the tent, be blessed:
Hotahina mihoatra noho ny vehivavy anie Jaela, vadin’ i Hebera Kenita; Eny, hotahina mihoatra noho ny vehivavy mitoetra an-day anie izy.
25 Water, he asked, Milk, she gave, —In a bowl for nobles, presented cream:
Rano no nangatahin-dralehilahy, fa ronono aza no nomeny azy; Teo an-dovian’ andriana no nitondrany rononomandry.
26 Her hand, to the tent-pin, put she forth, and, her right hand, to the toilers’ mallet, —Then smote she Sisera, She shattered his head, Yea she split open and pierced through his temples:
Ny tànany nandray ny tsima-day, Ary ny tànany ankavanana nandray ny tantanan’ ny mpiasa, dia namely an’ i Sisera tamin’ ny tantanana izy ka nahavoa ny lohany; Namely mafy izy, dia nahaboroaka ny fihirifany.
27 Between her feet, he bowed—he fell, he lay, —Between her feet, he bowed—he fell, Where he bowed, There, he fell—destroyed!
Teo amin’ ny tongo-dravehivavy no niondrehany nahalavoany niamparany, eny, teo amin’ ny tongony no niondrehany nahalavoany teo amin’ izay niondrehany no niamparan’ ny fatiny.
28 Through the window, looked out and shrilly cried, The mother of Sisera, through the lattice, —Why is his chariot ashamed to come? Why delay the wheels of his chariot?
Tao amin’ ny varavarankely no nitsirihan’ ny renin’ i Sisera ka niantsoantsoany mafy; Eny, niantso tao amin’ ny makarakara izy hoe: Nahoana no ela izato kalesiny vao tonga? Nahoana no mitaredretra ny kodian’ ny kalesiny?
29 The wise ladies, her princesses, responded, —Nay! she, returned answer to, herself: —
Izay hendry tamin’ ny andriambaviny no namaly azy, eny, ny tenany aza namaly hoe:
30 Is it not They keep finding—dividing spoil, One damsel, two damsels, to every several hero, Spoil, of divers coloured raiment for Sisera, Spoil, of divers coloured raiment, embroidered, Coloured raiment richly embroidered, on the necks of them who are taken as spoil?
Tsy efa mahita va izy? Tsy mizara babo va izy? Dia zazavavy iray na roa ho an’ ny isan-dahy, Ary lamba samy hafa volo ho babon’ i Sisera, Lamba roa samy hafa soratra ho eo am-bozon’ ny nahazo babo.
31 So, perish all thine enemies, O Yahweh, But be, they who love him, as the going forth of the sun, in his might! And the land had rest forty years.
Ho levona tahaka izany anie ny fahavalonao rehetra, Jehovah ô; Fa aoka izay tia Azy kosa ho tahaka ny masoandro, raha miposaka amin’ ny heriny izy. Dia nandry ny tany efa-polo taona.
