Judges 17
1 And there was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose, name, was Micah.
Имаше един човек от Ефремовата хълмиста земя на име Михей.
2 And he said unto his mother—The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken by thee, when, thou, didst utter a curse, and didst also say in my hearing, Lo! the silver, is with me! I took it. Then said his mother, Blessed, be my son by Yahweh.
Той каза на майка си: Хилядата и сто сребърника, които ти бяха отнети, за които ти и прокълна, още изговори клетвата като слушах аз - ето, среброто е у мене; аз го взех. А майка му рече: Благословен да е мият син от Господа.
3 And, when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said—I had, hallowed, the silver unto Yahweh out of mine own hand, for my son, to make a graved (molten) image, now, therefore, I will restore it unto thee.
И като върна хилядата и сто сребърника на майка си, майка му каза: Действително бях посветила от ръката си среброто Господу за сина ми, за да направи изваян идол и леян кумир; и той, сега ще го върне на тебе.
4 But he restored the silver to his mother, —so his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave it to the silversmith, who made thereof a graved (molten) image, and it was in the house of Micah.
Но той върна среброто на майка си; затова майка му взе двеста сребърника и даде ги на златаря, който направи от тях изваян идол и леян кумир; и те бяха поставени в дома на Михея.
5 Now, the man Micah, had a house of gods, —and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and installed one of his sons, who became his priest.
И тоя Михей, като имаше капище за богове, направи ефод и домашни идоли, и посвети един от синовете си, който му стана свещеник.
6 In those days, there was no king in Israel, —every man did, that which was right in his own eyes.
В ония дни нямаше цар в Израиля; всеки правеше каквото му се виждаше угодно.
7 And there was a young man out of Bethlehem-judah, of the family of Judah, —he, being a Levite, and, he, being a sojourner there.
И имаше един момък от Витлеем Юдов, град на Юдовите семейства, който беше левитин, и е бил там прищелец.
8 So the man took his journey out of the city, out of Bethlehem-judah, to sojourn, wheresoever he could find [a home], —and he came into the hill country of Ephraim, as far as the house of Micah, in pursuing his journey.
Тоя човек замина от града, от Витлеем Юдов, за да пришелствува, гдето намери място, и като пътуваше, дойде до Михеевата къща в Ефремовата хълмиста земя.
9 And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him—A Levite, am I, from Bethlehem-judah, and, I, am taking my journey to sojourn, wheresoever I can find [a home].
И Михей му каза: От где идеш? А той му рече: Аз съм левитин, от Витлеем Юдов, и отивам да пришелствувам, гдето намеря място.
10 And Micah said unto him—Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and, I, will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy sustenance. So the Levite went.
И Михей му каза: Седи у мене и стани ми отец и свещеник; и аз ще ти давам по десет сребърника на годината, една премяна дрехи и храната ти. И тъй, левитинът влезе у него.
11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man, —and the young man became to him, as one of his sons.
И левитинът беше благодарен да седи у човека, и тоя момък му стана като един от синовете му.
12 And Micah installed the Levite, and the young man became his priest, —and remained in the house of Micah.
И Михей посвети левитина и момъкът му стана свещеник; и остана в Михеевата къща.
13 Then said Micah—Now, I know that Yahweh will do me good, —seeing I have a Levite as my priest.
Тогава каза на Михей: сега зная, че Господ ще ми стори добро, защото имам левитин за свещеник.
