Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, —and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
Inkatho yesibili yawela esizwaneni sikaSimiyoni ngensendo zaso. Ilifa labo laliphakathi kwelizwe likaJuda.
2 And they had for their inheritance, —Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,
Laligoqela: iBherishebha (noma Shebha), iMolada,
3 and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
iHazari-Shuwali, iBhala, i-Ezema,
4 and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,
i-Elitholadi, iBhethuli, iHoma,
5 and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
iZikhilagi, iBhethi-Makhabhothi, iHazari-Susa,
6 and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, —thirteen cities, with their villages:
iBhethi-Lebhawothi leSharuheni, amadolobho alitshumi lantathu lemizana yawo;
7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, —four cities, with their villages,
i-Ayini, iRimoni, i-Etheri le-Ashani, amadolobho amane lemizana yawo,
8 and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:
layo yonke imizana eyakhelene lalawo madolobho kusiyafika eBhalathi-Bheri (iRama eseNegebi). Leli kwakuyilifa lesizwana sikaSimiyoni ngensendo zaso.
9 Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, —for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
Ilifa labakoSimiyoni lathathwa kungxenye kaJuda ngenxa yokuthi isigaba sakoJuda sasisikhulu kakhulu. Ngakho abakoSimiyoni bathola ilifa labo phakathi kwelizwe lakoJuda.
10 Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
Inkatho yesithathu yawela uZebhuluni lensendo zakhe: Umngcele welifa labo wawufika eSaridi.
11 And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, —and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;
Waqonda entshonalanga wadabula usiya eMarala, wathinta iDabheshethi, waqhela usiya odongeni eduze leJokhiniyamu.
12 and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, —and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;
Wajikela empumalanga usuka eSaridi ukhangele empumalanga elizweni likaKhisilothi-Thabhori njalo waqhela usiya eDabherathi ukhwela usiya eJafiya.
13 and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, —and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;
Waqhubeka ukhangele empumalanga usiya eGathi-Heferi le-Ethi Khazini; wathutshela eRimoni wasujikela eNeya.
14 and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, —and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;
Lapho umngcele wabhoda enyakatho usiya eHanathoni wakhawula eSigodini se-Ifitha Eli.
15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, —twelve cities, with their villages.
Kwakukhona njalo iKhathathi, iNahalali, iShimroni, i-Idala leBhethilehema. Kwakulamadolobho alitshumi lambili lemizana yawo.
16 This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Amadolobho la lemizana yawo ayeyilifa likaZebhuluni lensendo.
17 For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, —for the sons of Issachar, by their families.
Inkatho yesine yawela u-Isakhari ngensendo zakhe.
18 And their boundary was, —Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Ilizwe labo laligoqela: iJezerili, iKhesulothi, iShunemi,
19 and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,
iHafarayimi, iShiyoni, i-Anaharathi,
20 and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,
iRabhithi, iKhishiyoni, i-Ebhezi
21 and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;
iRemethi, i-Eni-Ganimu, i-Eni-Hada leBhethi-Phazezi.
22 and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
Umngcele wawugudla iThabhori, iShahazuma leBhethi-Shemeshi wasukhawula eJodani. Kwakulamadolobho alitshumi lesithupha lemizana yawo.
23 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
Amadolobho la lemizi yawo kwakuyilifa lesizwana sika-Isakhari lensendo zakhe.
24 Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
Inkatho yesihlanu yawela esizwaneni sika-Asheri ngensendo zakhe.
25 And their boundary was, —Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,
Ilizwe labo laligoqela: iHelikhathi, iHali, iBhetheni, i-Akhishafi,
26 and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, —and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;
i-Alameleki, i-Amadi leMishali. Entshonalanga umngcele wagudla iKhameli leShihori-Libhinathi.
27 and it turneth toward sun-rise—to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,
Wajikela empumalanga ukhangele eBhethi-Dagoni, ugudla iZebhuluni leSigodi se-Ifitha Eli, waqonda enyakatho usiya eBhethi-Emekhi leNeyiyeli, usedlula eKhabhuli kwesenxele.
28 and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, —as far as Zidon the populous;
Waya e-Abhidoni, eRehobhi, eHamoni leKhana usiyafika eSidoni enkulu.
29 and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, —then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;
Umngcele waphinda wajika ukhangele eRama wasusiya edolobheni eliyinqaba eleThire, wajika ukhangele iHosa wathutshela olwandle olusesabelweni se-Akhizibhi,
30 Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, —twenty-two cities, with their villages,
i-Uma, i-Afekhi leRehobhi. Kwakulamadolobho angamatshumi amabili lambili lemizana yawo.
31 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Amadolobho la lemizana yawo ayeyilifa lesizwana sika-Asheri lensendo zakhe.
32 For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, —for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
Inkatho yesithupha yawela uNafithali ngensendo zakhe:
33 And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;
Umgcele wasuka eHelefi kanye lesihlahla somʼOkhi eZananimi usedlula e-Adami Nekhebi leJabhiniyeli usiya eLakhumi njalo uphelela eJodani.
34 and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, —and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.
Umngcele wadabula entshonalanga phakathi kwe-Azinothi-Thabhori wayaphuma ususeHukhokhi. Wagudla iZebhuluni eningizimu, i-Asheri entshonalanga kweJuda usiya empumalanga yeJodani.
35 And, the fortified cities, are, —Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,
Amadolobho ayelezinqaba yiZidimu, iZeri, iHamathi, iRakhathi, iKhinerethi,
36 and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,
i-Adama, iRama, iHazori,
37 and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,
iKhedeshi, i-Edreyi, i-Eni-Hazo,
38 and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, —nineteen cities, with their villages.
iYironi, iMigidali-Eli, iHoremu, iBhethi-Anathi leBhethi-Shemeshi. Kwakulamadolobho alitshumi lesificamunwemunye lemizana yawo.
39 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
Amadolobho la lemizana yawo kwakuyilifa lesizwana sikaNafithali ngensendo zakhe.
40 And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.
Inkatho yesikhombisa yawela isizwana sikaDani ngensendo zakhe.
41 And the boundary of their inheritance was, —Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Ilizwe lelifa labo laligoqela: iZora, i-Eshithawoli, i-Iri Shemeshi,
42 and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
iShayalabhini, i-Ayijaloni, i-Ithila,
43 and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,
i-Eloni, iThimina, i-Ekroni,
44 and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
i-Elithekhe, iGibhethoni, iBhalathi,
45 and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,
iJehudi, iBhene-Bherakhi, iGathi-Rimoni,
46 and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, —with the boundary over against Joppa.
iMe-Jarikhoni leRakhoni lendawo ekhangele iJopha.
47 And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem—Dan, after the name of Dan their father,
(Kwathi abakoDani sebenqotshiwe bathathelwa ilizwe labo, basuka bayahlasela iLeshemu ngenkemba, bayithumba. Bahlala eLeshemu bayibiza ngokuthi yiDani, ibizo likakhokho wabo.)
48 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Amadolobho la lemizana yawo ayeyilifa lesizwe sikaDani ngensendo zakhe.
49 When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:
Bathi sebeqede ukwabelana umhlaba ngendlela eyayiphawulwe yinkatho, abako-Israyeli banika uJoshuwa indodana kaNuni ilifa phakathi kwabo,
50 at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, —and he built the city and dwelt therein.
njengokulaya kukaThixo. Bamnika idolobho ayelicelile, iThimnathi-Sera elizweni lamaqaqa ko-Efrayimi. Wakha idolobho wahlala khona.
51 These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —so they made an end of apportioning the land.
La yiwo amazwe u-Eliyazari umphristi, uJoshuwa indodana kaNuni labakhokheli bonke lensendo zezizwana zako-Israyeli abazehlukanisela wona ngenkatho eShilo phambi kukaThixo entubeni yethente lokuhlangana. Ngakho-ke baqeda ukwaba umhlaba.
