Joshua 19
1 And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, —and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
Dann kam das zweite Los heraus für Simeon, für die Geschlechter des Stammes der Simeoniten; und zwar lag ihr Erbteil mitten im Erbbesitz der Judäer.
2 And they had for their inheritance, —Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,
Es wurde ihnen aber als ihr Erbbesitz zuteil: Beerseba, Seba, Molada,
3 and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,
Hazar-Sual, Bala, Ezem,
4 and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,
Eltholad, Bethul, Horma,
5 and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
Ziklag, Beth-Markaboth, Hazar-Susa,
6 and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, —thirteen cities, with their villages:
Beth-Lebaoth und Saruhen: 13 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, —four cities, with their villages,
Ferner Ain, Rimmon, Ether und Asan: 4 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern;
8 and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:
außerdem alle Dörfer, die rings um diese Städte liegen bis nach Baalath-Beer, dem Rama des Südlandes. Dies ist der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Simeon.
9 Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, —for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
Von dem Anteil der Judäer war der Erbbesitz der Simeoniten genommen; denn der Anteil der Judäer war für diese zu groß; daher erhielten die Simeoniten ihren Erbbesitz mitten in deren Besitztum.
10 Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
Hierauf kam das dritte Los heraus für die Geschlechter des Stammes Sebulon; und die Grenze ihres Erbbesitzes reichte bis Sarid.
11 And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, —and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;
Ihre Grenze geht aber westwärts hinauf, und zwar nach Marala hin, berührt Dabbeseth und stößt an den Bach, der östlich von Jokneam fließt.
12 and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, —and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;
Aber auf der östlichen Seite von Sarid, gegen Sonnenaufgang, wendet sie sich nach dem Gebiet von Kisloth-Thabor, geht weiter nach Daberath, zieht sich aufwärts nach Japhia,
13 and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, —and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;
läuft von da ostwärts, gegen Sonnenaufgang, nach Gath-Hepher, nach Eth-Kazin hinüber, läuft aus bei Rimmon und erstreckt sich nach Nea hin;
14 and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, —and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;
dann zieht sich die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung um dasselbe herum nördlich von Hannathon und erreicht ihr Ende im Tal von Jiphthah-El.
15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, —twelve cities, with their villages.
… und Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jidala und Bethlehem: 12 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
16 This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Sebulon: die genannten Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
17 For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, —for the sons of Issachar, by their families.
Für Issaschar kam das vierte Los heraus, für die Geschlechter der Issaschariten.
18 And their boundary was, —Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
Ihr Gebiet erstreckte sich über Jesreel, Kesulloth, Sunem,
19 and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,
Hapharaim, Sion, Anaharath,
20 and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,
Rabbith, Kisjon, Ebez,
21 and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda und Beth-Pazzez.
22 and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
Die Grenze berührt Thabor, Sahazima und Beth-Semes, und ihre Grenze endet am Jordan: 16 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
23 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes der Issaschariten: die Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
24 Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
Dann kam das fünfte Los heraus für die Geschlechter des Stammes Asser.
25 And their boundary was, —Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,
Ihr Gebiet umfaßte Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achsaph,
26 and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, —and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;
Allammelech, Amgad und Miseal und stößt westwärts an den Karmel und an den Sihor von Libnath.
27 and it turneth toward sun-rise—to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,
Sodann wendet sich die Grenze ostwärts nach Beth-Dagon, berührt Sebulon und das Tal Jiphthah-El im Norden, dann Beth-Emek und Negiel und setzt sich nordwärts fort nach Kabul,
28 and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, —as far as Zidon the populous;
Ebron, Rehob, Hammon und Kana bis zu der großen Stadt Sidon;
29 and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, —then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;
dann zieht die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung nach Rama und bis zu der festen Stadt Tyrus, sodann mit veränderter Richtung nach Hossa und endet am Meer. Mahaleb, Aksib,
30 Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, —twenty-two cities, with their villages,
Umma, Aphek und Rehob: 22 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
31 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Asser: die genannten Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
32 For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, —for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
Für den Stamm Naphthali kam das sechste Los heraus, für die Geschlechter der Naphthaliten.
33 And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;
Ihre Grenze geht von Heleph, von der Eiche bei Zaanannim, über Adami-Nekeb und Jabneel bis Lakkum und endet am Jordan;
34 and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, —and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.
dann geht die Grenze mit veränderter Richtung westwärts nach Asnoth-Thabor, setzt sich fort nach Hukkok hin, berührt dann im Süden Sebulon, stößt im Westen an Asser und im Osten an den Jordan.
35 And, the fortified cities, are, —Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,
Die festen Städte waren: Ziddim, Zer und Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,
Adama, Rama, Hazor,
37 and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,
Kedes, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, —nineteen cities, with their villages.
Jireon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath und Beth-Semes: 19 Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
39 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.
Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes der Naphthaliten: die Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
40 And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.
Für die Geschlechter des Stammes Dan kam das siebte Los heraus.
41 And the boundary of their inheritance was, —Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
Das Gebiet ihres Erbteils umfaßte: Zorga, Esthaol, Ir-Semes,
42 and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
Saalabbin, Ajjalon, Jithla,
43 and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,
Elon, Thimnath, Ekron,
44 and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
Eltheke, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, —with the boundary over against Joppa.
Me-Jarkon und Rakkon samt dem Gebiete gegen Japho hin.
47 And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem—Dan, after the name of Dan their father,
Als das Gebiet den Daniten später zu enge wurde, zogen sie hinauf und bekriegten Lesem (Lais); und nachdem sie es erobert und die Einwohner mit der Schärfe des Schwertes niedergemacht hatten, nahmen sie es in Besitz, siedelten sich dort an und gaben Lesem den Namen »Dan« nach ihrem Stammvater Dan.
48 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.
Dies war der Erbbesitz der Geschlechter des Stammes Dan: die genannten Städte mit den zugehörigen Dörfern.
49 When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:
Als nun die Israeliten mit der Verteilung des Landes nach seinem ganzen Umfang fertig waren, gaben sie Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, ein Besitztum in ihrer Mitte.
50 at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, —and he built the city and dwelt therein.
Nach dem Befehl des HERRN gaben sie ihm die Stadt, die er sich erbeten hatte, nämlich Thimnath-Serah im Berglande Ephraim; er befestigte dann die Stadt und ließ sich in ihr nieder.
51 These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —so they made an end of apportioning the land.
Dies sind die Erbteile, die der Priester Eleasar und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Stammeshäupter der Israeliten in Silo vor dem HERRN am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes durch das Los verteilten. Als sie dann mit der Verteilung des Landes fertig waren,
