Joshua 18
1 Then were gathered together all the assembly of the sons of Israel at Shiloh, and they set up there, the tent of meeting, —the land, having been subdued before them.
௧இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் சபையெல்லாம் சீலோவிலே கூடி, அங்கே ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தை அமைத்தார்கள். தேசம் அவர்களின் வசமானது.
2 But there remained among the sons of Israel, to whom had not been apportioned their inheritance, —seven tribes.
௨இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் தங்களுடைய பங்குகளை இன்னும் பங்கிட்டுக்கொள்ளாத ஏழு கோத்திரங்கள் இருந்தன.
3 So Joshua said unto the sons of Israel, —How long, will ye be too slothful, to enter in and take possession of the land, which Yahweh God of your fathers, hath given unto you?
௩ஆகவே யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுடைய பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வதற்கு, நீங்கள் எதுவரைக்கும் அசதியாக இருப்பீர்கள்.
4 Set forth for you three men for each tribe, —that I may send them, that they may arise—and go up and down in the land—and map it out as required for their inheritance, and come in unto me.
௪கோத்திரத்திற்கு மும்மூன்று மனிதர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; அவர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டு, தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து அதைத் தங்கள் பங்குகளுக்குத்தக்கதாக விபரமாக எழுதி, என்னிடம் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்புவேன்.
5 So shall they apportion it for themselves into seven parts, —Let, Judah, stay upon his boundary, on the south, and, the house of Joseph, stay upon their boundary, on the north,
௫அதை ஏழு பங்குகளாகப் பங்கிடுவார்கள்; யூதா வம்சத்தார்கள் தெற்கே இருக்கிற தங்களுடைய எல்லையிலும், யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார்கள் வடக்கே இருக்கிற தங்களுடைய எல்லையிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்.
6 but, ye, shall map out the [rest of the] land, into seven parts, —and bring in [your descriptions] unto me, here, —then will I cast lots for you here, before Yahweh our God.
௬நீங்கள் தேசத்தை ஏழு பங்குகளாக விவரித்து எழுதி, இங்கே என்னிடம் கொண்டுவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இந்த இடத்திலே நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன்.
7 For Levi hath no portion in your midst, for, the priesthood of Yahweh, is his inheritance, —and, Gad, and Reuben, and the half tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance, beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave unto them.
௭லேவியர்களுக்கு உங்கள் நடுவே பங்கு இல்லை; யெகோவாவுடைய ஆசாரியத்துவமே அவர்களின் பங்கு; காத்தும் ரூபனும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரமும் யோர்தானுக்கு மறுபுறத்திலே கிழக்கே யெகோவாவின் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசே தங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தங்கள் பங்குகளைப் பெற்றுவிட்டார்கள் என்றான்.
8 So the men arose, and went, —and Joshua commanded them who were going, to map out the land, saying—Take your journey and go up and down in the land, and map it out, and return unto me, and, here, will I cast lots for you before Yahweh, in Shiloh.
௮அப்பொழுது அந்த மனிதர்கள் எழுந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போனார்கள்; தேசத்தைக் குறித்து விபரம் எழுதப்போகிறவர்களை யோசுவா நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய், தேசத்திலே சுற்றித்திரிந்து, அதின் விபரத்தை எழுதி, என்னிடம் திரும்பிவாருங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இங்கே சீலோவிலே யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் உங்களுக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போடுவேன் என்று சொன்னான்.
9 So the men went, and passed through the land, and mapped it out by cities, into seven parts, upon a scroll, —and came in unto Joshua, unto the camp, in Shiloh.
௯அந்த மனிதர்கள் போய், தேசம் எங்கும் அந்தந்தப் பட்டணங்களின்படியே ஏழுபங்குகளாக ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் எழுதிக்கொண்டு, சீலோவில் இருக்கிற முகாமிலே யோசுவாவிடத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
10 And Joshua cast for them lots, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, —and Joshua there apportioned the land unto the sons of Israel, according to their portions.
௧0அப்பொழுது யோசுவா அவர்களுக்காகச் சீலோவிலே யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் சீட்டுப்போட்டு, அங்கே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களின் பங்குவீதப்படி அவர்களுக்கு தேசத்தைப் பங்கிட்டான்.
11 Then came up the lot of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, by their families, —and the boundary of their lot came out, between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.
௧௧பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே அவர்களுக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அவர்கள் பங்கு வீதத்தின் எல்லையானது யூதா வம்சத்தார்களுக்கும் யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தார்களுக்கும் நடுவில் இருந்தது.
12 And so their boundary, on the north border, was from the Jordan, —and the boundary goeth up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and goeth up in the hill country, westward, and the extensions thereof are towards the wilderness of Beth-aven;
௧௨அவர்களுடைய வட எல்லை, யோர்தானிலிருந்து வந்து, எரிகோவிற்கு வடக்குப் பக்கமாகச் சென்று, அதன்பின்பு மேற்கே மலையில் ஏறி, பெத்தாவேன் வனாந்திரத்தில் போய் முடியும்.
13 and the boundary passeth over from thence towards Luz, to the side of Luz, southwards, the same, is Bethel, —and the boundary goeth down to Ataroth-addah, by the mountain that is on the south of Beth-horon the nether;
௧௩அங்கேயிருந்து அந்த எல்லை, பெத்தேலாகிய லூசுக்கு வந்து, லூஸுக்குத் தெற்குப் பக்கமாகப் போய், அதரோத் அதாருக்குக் கீழே உள்ள பெத்தொரோனுக்குத் தெற்கே இருக்கிற மலையருகே இறங்கும்.
14 then turneth the boundary and goeth round the west border, southward, from the mountain which faceth Beth-horon, southward, and so the extensions thereof are unto Kiriath-baal—the same, is Kiriath-jearim, a city of the sons of Judah, —this, is the west border.
௧௪அங்கேயிருந்து எல்லை மேற்குமூலைக்குப் பெத்தொரோனுக்கு எதிரே தெற்காக இருக்கிற மலைக்குத் தென்புறமாகப் போய்த் திரும்பி, கீரியாத்பாகால் என்னப்பட்ட யூதா கோத்திரத்தார்களின் பட்டணமாகிய கீரியாத்யெயாரீம் அருகே போய் முடியும்; இது மேற்கு எல்லை.
15 And, the border southward, is from the uttermost part of Kiriath-jearim, —and the boundary goeth out westward, yea it goeth out unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;
௧௫தென் எல்லை கீரியாத்யெயாரீமின் முடிவில் இருக்கிறது; அங்கேயிருந்து எல்லை மேற்கே போய், நெப்தோவாவின் நீரூற்றிற்குச் சென்று,
16 and the boundary goeth down to the uttermost part of the mountain which faceth the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the Vale of Giants, northward, —and descendeth the valley of Hinnom, unto the side of the Jebusite, southward, and then descendeth to En-rogel;
௧௬அங்கேயிருந்து இராட்சதர்களின் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் வடக்கே இருக்கிற இன்னோமுடைய மகன்களின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கு எதிரான மலையடிவாரத்திற்கு இறங்கி, அப்புறம் தெற்கே எபூசியர்களுக்குப் பக்கமான இன்னோமின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிற்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து என்ரோகேலுக்கும் இறங்கிவந்து,
17 and it turneth on the north, and goeth out at En-shemesh, and goeth out unto Geliloth, which is over against the ascent of Adummim, —and goeth down by the Stone of Bohan, son of Reuben;
௧௭வடக்கே போய், என்சேமேசுக்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து அதும்மீம் மேட்டுக்கு எதிரான கெலிலோத்திற்கும், அங்கேயிருந்து ரூபனின் மகனாகிய போகனின் கல்லினிடத்திற்கும் இறங்கிவந்து,
18 and passeth along unto the side over against the Arabah, northward, —and goeth down toward the Arabah;
௧௮அராபாவுக்கு எதிரான வடக்குப்பக்கமாகப் போய், அராபாவுக்கு இறங்கும்.
19 and the boundary passeth along unto the side of Beth-hoglah, northward, and so the extensions of the boundary are unto the bay of the Salt Sea, northward, unto the end of the Jordan, southward, —This, is the south boundary.
௧௯அப்புறம் அந்த எல்லை, பெத்ஓக்லாவுக்கு வடக்குப்பக்கமாகப் போய், யோர்தானின் தெற்கான உப்புக்கடலின் வடக்கு முனையிலே முடிந்துபோகும்; இது தென் எல்லை.
20 And, the Jordan itself, boundeth it as an eastward border. This, is the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by the boundaries thereof round about, by their families.
௨0கிழக்குப்புறத்தின் எல்லை யோர்தானே; இது பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தார்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற எல்லைகளுக்குள்ளான பங்குகள்.
21 So then the cities of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, by their families, are, —Jericho and Beth-hoglah, and Emekkeziz,
௨௧பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற பட்டணங்களாவன: எரிகோ, பெத்ஓக்லா, கேசீஸ் பள்ளத்தாக்கு,
22 and Beth-arabah and Zemaraim, and Bethel,
௨௨பெத் அரபா, செமராயிம், பெத்தேல்,
23 and Avvim and Parah and Ophrah,
௨௩ஆவீம், பாரா. ஓப்ரா,
24 and Chephar-ammoni and Ophni, and Geba, —twelve cities, with their villages:
௨௪கேப்பார் அமோனாய், ஒப்னி, கேபா என்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே.
25 Gibeon and Ramah, and Beeroth,
௨௫கிபியோன், ராமா, பேரோத்,
26 and Mizpeh and Chephirah, and Mozah,
௨௬மிஸ்பே, கெபிரா, மோசா,
27 and Rekem and Irpeel, and Taralah,
௨௭ரெக்கேம், இர்பெயெல், தாராலா,
28 and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite, the same, is Jerusalem, Gibeath [and] Kiriath, fourteen cities, with their villages. This, is the inheritance of the song of Benjamin, by their families.
௨௮சேலா, ஏலேப், எருசலேமாகிய எபூசி, கிபியாத், கீரேயாத் என்னும் பதினான்கு பட்டணங்களும் அவைகளின் கிராமங்களுமே; பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி இருக்கிற பங்குகள் இவைகளே.
