Joshua 15
1 So then the boundary of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families, —reached unto the boundary of Edom, the desert of Zin southward, on the extreme south;
І був жеребо́к для пле́мени Юдиних синів за їхніми ро́дами: до едомської границі пустиня Цін, на пі́вдень від теманського кра́ю.
2 so their south boundary beginneth at the end of the Salt Sea, —from the bay that turneth to the south;
І була їм південна границя від кінця Солоного моря, від затоки, зве́рненої на пі́вдень.
3 and goeth forth on the south of the cliffs of Akrabbim, and crosseth over to Zin, and goeth up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, —and passeth over by Hezron, and goeth up to Addar, and turneth round to Karka;
І йде вона на пі́вдень від Маале-Акраббіму, і перехо́дить до Ціну, і підіймається з пі́вдня, від Кадеш-Барнеа й перехо́дить до Хецрону, і підіймається до Аддару й обертається до Кар до Каркаї.
4 and passeth over to Azmon, and goeth forth at the ravine of Egypt, and so the extensions of the boundary are to the sea. This, shall be your south boundary.
І перехо́дить вона до Адмону, і йде до єгипетського потоку, і границя закі́нчується на за́хід. Це буде для вас південна границя.
5 And, a boundary eastward, is the Salt Sea, as far as the end of the Jordan. And, the boundary on the north side, is from the bay of the sea, from the end of the Jordan.
А границя на схід — Солоне море аж до кінця Йорда́ну. А границя у бік пі́вночі: від морської затоки з кінця Йорда́ну,
6 And the boundary goeth up Beth-hoglah, and passeth over, on the north, by Beth-arabah, —and the boundary goeth up by the Stone of Bohan, son of Reuben;
і підіймається границя до Бет-Хоґли й перехо́дить на пі́вніч від Бет-Гаарови; і підіймається та границя до Евен-Боган-Бен-Рувена.
7 and the boundary goeth up towards Debir, out of the vale of Achor, then northward, turning unto Gilgal, which is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the ravine, —then the boundary passeth over unto the waters of En-shemesh, and so the extensions thereof are unto En-rogel:
І підіймається та границя від ахорської долини, а на пі́вночі зверта́ється до Ґілґалу, що навпроти Маале-Адумміму, що на південь від потоку. І переходить та границя до Ме-Ен-Шемешу, і закінчується при Ен-Роґелі.
8 then ascendeth the boundary by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite, on the south, the same, is Jerusalem, —and the boundary goeth up unto the top of the mountain which faceth the valley of Hinnom, to the west, which is at the end of the Vale of Giants, northwards;
І підіймається та границя до Ґе-Бен-Гінному побіч євусеянина з пі́вдня, — це Єрусали́м. І підіймається та границя до верхі́в'я гори, що навпроти Ґе-Гінному на за́хід, що в кінці Емек-Рефаіму на пі́вніч.
9 and the boundary turneth round, from the top of the mountain, unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and goeth out unto the cities of Mount Ephron, —then the boundary turneth round to Baalah, the same, is Kiriath-jearim;
І біжить та границя від верхі́в'я гори до джерела́ Ме-Нефтоаху, і йде до міст гори Ефро́ну; і біжить та границя до Баали, — це Кір'ят-Єарім.
10 then the boundary goeth round from Baalah westward, unto Mount Seir, and passeth over unto the slope of Mount Yearim, on the north, the same, is Chesalon, —and descendeth Bethshemesh, and passeth over Timnah;
І оберта́ється та границя з Баали на за́хід до гори Сеїр, і переходить до плеча́ гори Єарім з пі́вночі, — це Кесалон; і сходить до Бет-Шемешу й переходить до Тімни.
11 then the boundary goeth forth unto the side of Ekron, northward, then the boundary turneth round towards Shikkeron, and crosseth over Mount Baalah, and goeth out at Jabneel, —and the extensions of the boundary are to the sea.
І йде та границя по край Екрону на пі́вніч, і біжить та границя до Шіккарону, і перехо́дить до гори Баали, і йде до Явнеїлу. І границя закінчується при за́ході.
12 And, as a west boundary, are the great sea and coast. This, is the boundary of the sons of Judah, round about, by their families.
А за́хідня границя — до Великого моря. А границя ця — границя Юдиних синів навколо за їхніми ро́дами.
13 And, to Caleb, son of Jephunneh, gave he a portion, in the midst of the sons of Judah, at the bidding of Yahweh, by Joshua, —even the City of Arba, father of Anak, the same, is Hebron.
А Калеву, синові Єфуннеєвому, він дав частку серед Юдиних синів, за Господнім нака́зом до Ісуса, Кір'ят-Арби, батька ве́летнів, воно — Хеврон.
14 And Caleb dispossessed from thence, the three sons of Anak, —Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.
І Кале́в повиганяв звідти трьох ве́летнів: Шешая, і Ахімана, і Талмая, уро́джених ве́летнів.
15 And he went up from thence, against the inhabitants of Debir, —now, the name of Debir, formerly, was Kiriath-sepher.
І пішов він звідти до девірських ме́шканців, а ім'я́ Девіра давніше — Кір'ят-Сефер.
16 Then said Caleb, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and captureth it, I will give unto him Achsah, my daughter, to wife.
І сказав Калев: „Хто поб'є Кір'ят-Сефер та здобу́де його, то дам йому дочку́ мою Ахсу за жінку“.
17 And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, captured it, —so he gave unto him Achsah, his daughter, to wife.
І здобув його Отніїл, син Кеназів, брат Калевів. І він дав йому свою дочку́ Ахсу за жінку.
18 And it came to pass, when she came, that she moved him to ask of her father a field, and, when she alighted from off the ass, Caleb said unto her—What aileth thee?
І сталося, коли вона відхо́дила, то намовила його жадати по́ля від її батька. І зійшла вона з осла, а Кале́в сказав їй: „Що́ тобі?“
19 And she said—Give me a present, for, dry land, hast thou given me, therefore must thou give me, pools of water. So he gave her upper pools and lower pools.
І вона сказала: „Дай мені дар благослове́ння! Бо ти дав мені землю суху, то даси мені це й водні джере́ла“. І він дав їй Ґуллот горі́шній та Ґуллот до́лішній.
20 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families.
Оце спа́док племени Юдиних синів за їхніми ро́дами.
21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the sons of Judah, towards the boundary of Edom in the south, were, —Kabzeel and Eder, and Jagur,
І були ті міста від краю племени Юдиних синів до едомської границі на півдні: Кавцеїл, і Едер, і Яґур,
22 and Kinah and Dimonah, and Adadah, —
і Кіна, і Дімона, і Ад'ада, (questioned)
23 and Kedesh and Hazor, and Ithnan,
і Кедеш, і Хацор, і Їтнан,
24 Ziph and Talem, and Bealoth,
Зіф, і Телем, і Беалот,
25 and Hazor-hadattah and Kerioth-hezron, the same, is Hazor;
і Хацор-Хадатта, і Керійот-Хецрон, це Хацор,
26 Amam and Shema, and Moladah,
Амам, і Шема, і Молада,
27 and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet.
і Хацор-Ґадда, і Хешмон, і Бет-Пелет,
28 and Hazarshual and Beer-sheba, with the hamlets thereof,
і Хацар-Шуал, і Беер-Шева, і Бізйотея,
29 Baalah and Iyyim, and Ezem,
Баала, і Ійїм, і Ецем,
30 and Eltolad and Chesil, and Hormah,
і Елтолад, і Хесіл, і Хорма,
31 and Ziklag and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
і Ціклаґ, і Мадманна, і Сансанна,
32 and Lebaoth and Shilhim, and En-rimmon, —all the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.

33 In the lowland, —Eshtaol and Zorah, and Ashnah,

34 and Zanoah and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;
і Заноах, і Ен-Ґаннім, Таппуах і Гаенам,
35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;
Ярмут, і Адуллам, Сохо й Азека,
36 and Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim, —fourteen cities, with their villages.
і Шаараїм, і Адітаїм, і Ґедера, і Ґедеротаїм, — чотирна́дцять мість та їхні оселі.
37 Zenan and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
Ценан, і Хадаша, і Міґдал-Ґад,
38 and Dilan and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
і Діл'ан, і Міцпе, і Йоктеїл,
39 Lachish and Bozkath, and Eglon,
Лахіш, і Боцкат, і Еґлон,
40 and Cabbon and Lahmas, and Chithlish,
і Каббон, і Лахмас, і Кітліш,
41 and Gederoth, Beth-dagon and Naamah, and Makkedah, —sixteen cities, with their villages.
і Ґедерот, Бет-Даґон, і Наама, і Маккеда, — шістнадцять міст та їхні оселі.
42 Libnah and Ether, and Ashan,
Лівна, і Етер, і Ашан,
43 and Iphtah and Ashnah, and Nezib,
і Ївтах, і Ашна, і Неців,
44 and Keilah and Achzib, and Mareshah, —nine cities, with their villages.
і Кеіла, і Ахзів, і Мареша, — дев'ять міст та їхні оселі.
45 Ekron with her towns, and her villages.
Екрон і підлеглі міста його та оселі його.
46 From Ekron, even unto the sea, —all that were by the side of Ashdod with their villages.
Від Екрону й до моря усе, що при Ашдоді та їхні оселі.
47 Ashdod, her towns and her villages. Gaza, her towns and her villages, as far as the ravine of Egypt, —and the great sea and coast.
Ашдод, підлеглі міста його та оселі його; Азза, підлеглі міста її та оселі її до єгипетського потоку, і море Велике, і границя.
48 And in the hill-country, —Shamir and Jattir, and Socoh,
І на горах: Шамір, і Яттір, і Сохо,
49 and Dannah and Kiriath-sannah, the same, is Debir,
і Данна, і Кір'ят-Санна, він Девір,
50 and Anab and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
і Анав, і Ештемо, і Анім,
51 and Goshen and Holon, and Giloh, —eleven cities, with their villages.
і Ґошен, і Холон, і Ґіло, — одина́дцять міст та їхні оселі.
52 Arab and Rumah and Eshan,
Арав, і Дума, і Еш'ан,
53 and Janim and Beth-tappuah and Aphekah,
і Янім, і Бет-Таппуах, і Афека,
54 and Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, the same, is Hebron, and Zior, —nine cities, with their villages.
і Хумта, і Кір'ят-Арба, це Хеврон, і Ціор, — дев'ять міст та їхні оселі.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph and Jutah,
Маон, Кармел, і Зіф, і Юта,
56 and Jezreel and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
Їзреїл, і Йокдеам, і Заноах,
57 Kain, Gibeah and Timnah, —ten cities, with their villages.
Каїн, Ґів'а, і Тімна, — десять міст та їхні оселі.
58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
Халхул, Бет-Цур, і Ґедор,
59 and Maarath and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon, —six cities, with their villages.

60 Kiriath-baal, the same, is Kiriath-jearim, and Rabbah, —two cities, with their villages.

61 In the desert, —Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
На пустині: Бет-Гаарава, Міддін, і Сехаха,
62 and Nibshan and the City of Salt, and En-gedi, —six cities, with their villages.
і Нівшан, і Ір-Гаммелах, і Ен-Ґеді, — шість міст та їхні оселі.
63 But, as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not dispossess them, —so the Jebusites have dwelt with the sons of Judah, in Jerusalem, until this day.
А євусе́ян, ме́шканців Єрусалиму, Юдини сини не могли їх вигнати, — і осів Євусе́янин і́з Юдиними синами в Єрусалимі, і так є аж до цього дня,
