Joshua 15

1 So then the boundary of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families, —reached unto the boundary of Edom, the desert of Zin southward, on the extreme south;

2 so their south boundary beginneth at the end of the Salt Sea, —from the bay that turneth to the south;

A była ich granica od południa, od końca morza słonego, i od skały, która jest ku południowi.

3 and goeth forth on the south of the cliffs of Akrabbim, and crosseth over to Zin, and goeth up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, —and passeth over by Hezron, and goeth up to Addar, and turneth round to Karka;

I wychodzi ku południowi, ku pagórkowi niedźwiadkowemu, a ciągnie się aż do Syn; a idąc od południa do Kades Barny bieży aż ku Efronowi, i ciągnie się aż do Adar, obtaczając Karkaa.

4 and passeth over to Azmon, and goeth forth at the ravine of Egypt, and so the extensions of the boundary are to the sea. This, shall be your south boundary.

Stamtąd idąc do Asemona idzie ku rzece Egipskiej, a idzie koniec tych granic na zachód; tać będzie granica na południu.

5 And, a boundary eastward, is the Salt Sea, as far as the end of the Jordan. And, the boundary on the north side, is from the bay of the sea, from the end of the Jordan.

Granica zasię od wschodu słońca jest morze słone aż do końca Jordanu, a granica z strony północnej jest od skały morskiej, od końca Jordanu.

6 And the boundary goeth up Beth-hoglah, and passeth over, on the north, by Beth-arabah, —and the boundary goeth up by the Stone of Bohan, son of Reuben;

A ciągnie się ta granica do Betaglu, i bieży od północy aż do Betaraba; a stamtąd idzie ta granica aż do kamienia Boen, syna Rubenowego.

7 and the boundary goeth up towards Debir, out of the vale of Achor, then northward, turning unto Gilgal, which is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the ravine, —then the boundary passeth over unto the waters of En-shemesh, and so the extensions thereof are unto En-rogel:

Idzie także ta granica do Dabir od doliny Achor, a ku północy się udawa do Galgal, które jest przeciw górze, gdzie wstępują do Adommim, która jest na południe od rzeki, a idzie ta granica do wód Ensemes, a kończy się u studnicy Rogiel.

8 then ascendeth the boundary by the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite, on the south, the same, is Jerusalem, —and the boundary goeth up unto the top of the mountain which faceth the valley of Hinnom, to the west, which is at the end of the Vale of Giants, northwards;

Bieży też ta granica przez dolinę syna Hennomowego po bok Jebuzejczyka od południa, co jest Jeruzalem. Stamtąd bieży ta granica na wierzch góry, która jest przeciwko dolinie Hennom na zachód, a która jest na końcu doliny Refaimitów na północy.

9 and the boundary turneth round, from the top of the mountain, unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and goeth out unto the cities of Mount Ephron, —then the boundary turneth round to Baalah, the same, is Kiriath-jearim;

Obtacza też ta granica od wierzchu góry aż do źródła wody Neftoa, i bieży aż do miast góry Hefron; potem się ciągnie ta granica ku Baala, które jest Karyjatyjarym.

10 then the boundary goeth round from Baalah westward, unto Mount Seir, and passeth over unto the slope of Mount Yearim, on the north, the same, is Chesalon, —and descendeth Bethshemesh, and passeth over Timnah;

Potem kołem bieży ta granica od Baala na zachód do góry Seir, a stamtąd przechodzi po bok góry Jarym od północy, która jest Cheslon, i spuszcza się do Betsemes, i przychodzi do Tamna.

11 then the boundary goeth forth unto the side of Ekron, northward, then the boundary turneth round towards Shikkeron, and crosseth over Mount Baalah, and goeth out at Jabneel, —and the extensions of the boundary are to the sea.

I wychodzi ta granica po bok Akaronu na północy, a idzie kołem ta granica, aż do Sechronu, i bieży przez górę Baala; stamtąd wychodzi do Jabneel, i kończą się te granica u morza.

12 And, as a west boundary, are the great sea and coast. This, is the boundary of the sons of Judah, round about, by their families.

A granica zachodnia jest przy morzu wielkiem, i przy granicach jego; tać jest granica synów Juda w okrąg podług domów ich.

13 And, to Caleb, son of Jephunneh, gave he a portion, in the midst of the sons of Judah, at the bidding of Yahweh, by Joshua, —even the City of Arba, father of Anak, the same, is Hebron.

Ale Kalebowi synowi Jefunowemu, dał Jozue dział między syny Juda, jak Pan powiedział Jozuemu, miasto Arba, ojca olbrzymów, to jest Hebron.

14 And Caleb dispossessed from thence, the three sons of Anak, —Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.

I wypędził stamtąd Kaleb trzech synów Enakowych: Sesaja, i Ahymana, i Talmaja, syny Enakowe.

15 And he went up from thence, against the inhabitants of Debir, —now, the name of Debir, formerly, was Kiriath-sepher.

A wyszedł stamtąd do mieszkających w Dabir, które zwano przedtem Karyjatsefer.

16 Then said Caleb, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and captureth it, I will give unto him Achsah, my daughter, to wife.

I rzekł Kaleb: Kto by dobył Karyjatsefer, a wziął je, tedy mu dam Achsę, córkę swoję, za żonę.

17 And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, captured it, —so he gave unto him Achsah, his daughter, to wife.

I dobył go Otonijel, syn Keneza, brata Kalebowego; i dał mu Achsę, córkę swoję, za żonę.

18 And it came to pass, when she came, that she moved him to ask of her father a field, and, when she alighted from off the ass, Caleb said unto her—What aileth thee?

I stało się, gdy ona przyszła do niego, namawiała go, aby prosił ojca jej o pole; przetoż zsiadła z osła, i rzekł do niej Kaleb: Cóż ci?

19 And she said—Give me a present, for, dry land, hast thou given me, therefore must thou give me, pools of water. So he gave her upper pools and lower pools.

A ona odpowiedziała: Daj mi błogosławieństwo; gdyżeś mi dał ziemię suchą, przydaj mi też źródła wód. I dał jej źródła wyższe, i źródła dolne.

20 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, by their families.

Toć jest dziedzictwo pokolenia synów Judowych według domów ich.

21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the sons of Judah, towards the boundary of Edom in the south, were, —Kabzeel and Eder, and Jagur,

I były miasta w granicach pokolenia synów Judowych podle granicy Edom ku południowi: Kabseel, i Eder, i Jagur.

22 and Kinah and Dimonah, and Adadah, —

I Cyna, i Dymona, i Adada;

23 and Kedesh and Hazor, and Ithnan,

I Kades, i Hasor, i Jetnan;

24 Ziph and Talem, and Bealoth,

I Zyf, i Telem, i Balot;

25 and Hazor-hadattah and Kerioth-hezron, the same, is Hazor;

I Hasor Hadata, i Karyjot Chesron, toć jest Hasor;

26 Amam and Shema, and Moladah,

Amam, i Sama, i Molada;

27 and Hazar-gaddah and Heshmon, and Beth-pelet.

I Asorgadda, i Hessemon, i Betfalet;

28 and Hazarshual and Beer-sheba, with the hamlets thereof,

I Hasersual, i Beersaba, i Bazotyja;

29 Baalah and Iyyim, and Ezem,

Baala, i Ijim, i Esem;

30 and Eltolad and Chesil, and Hormah,

I Eltolad, i Kesyl, i Horma;

31 and Ziklag and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

I Syceleg, i Medemena, i Sensenna;

32 and Lebaoth and Shilhim, and En-rimmon, —all the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.

I Lebaot, i Selim, Ain, i Remmon; wszystkich miast dwadzieścia i dziewięć, i wsi ich.

33 In the lowland, —Eshtaol and Zorah, and Ashnah,

W równinach zaś Estaol, i Sarea, i Asena;

34 and Zanoah and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam;

I Zanoe, i Engannim, Tepnach, i Enaim;

35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah;

Jerymot, i Adullam, Socho, i Aseka;

36 and Shaaraim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim, —fourteen cities, with their villages.

I Saraim, i Adytaim, i Gedera, i Gederotaim, miast czternaście, i wsi ich.

37 Zenan and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,

Sanany, i Hadasa, i Mygdalgad;

38 and Dilan and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

I Delean, i Mesfa, i Jektel;

39 Lachish and Bozkath, and Eglon,

Lachys, i Bassekat, i Eglon;

40 and Cabbon and Lahmas, and Chithlish,

I Chabbon, i Lachmas, i Chytlis;

41 and Gederoth, Beth-dagon and Naamah, and Makkedah, —sixteen cities, with their villages.

I Kiederot, Bet Dagon, i Naama, i Maceda, miast szesnaście, i wsi ich.

42 Libnah and Ether, and Ashan,

Labana, i Eter, i Asan;

43 and Iphtah and Ashnah, and Nezib,

I Iftach, i Esna, i Nesyb;

44 and Keilah and Achzib, and Mareshah, —nine cities, with their villages.

I Ceila, i Achzyb, i Maresa, miast dziewięć, i wsi ich;

45 Ekron with her towns, and her villages.

Akkaron, i miasteczka jego, i wioski jego;

46 From Ekron, even unto the sea, —all that were by the side of Ashdod with their villages.

Od Akkaronu aż do morza wszystko, co leży po bok Asotu, i ze wsiami ich;

47 Ashdod, her towns and her villages. Gaza, her towns and her villages, as far as the ravine of Egypt, —and the great sea and coast.

Azot, miasteczka jego, i wsi jego; Gaza, miasteczka jego, i wsi jego, aż do potoku Egipskiego, i morze wielkie za granicą jego.

48 And in the hill-country, —Shamir and Jattir, and Socoh,

A na górze leżą Sam, i Jeter, i Soko;

49 and Dannah and Kiriath-sannah, the same, is Debir,

I Danna, i Karyjatsenna, które jest Dabir;

50 and Anab and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

I Anab, i Istemo, i Anim;

51 and Goshen and Holon, and Giloh, —eleven cities, with their villages.

I Gosen, i Holon, i Gilo, miast jedenaście, i wsi ich;

52 Arab and Rumah and Eshan,

Arab, i Duma, i Esaan;

53 and Janim and Beth-tappuah and Aphekah,

I Janum, i Bet Tafua, i Afeka;

54 and Humtah, and Kiriath-arba, the same, is Hebron, and Zior, —nine cities, with their villages.

I Chumta, i Karyjat Arbe, toć jest Hebron, i Syjor, miast dziewięć, i wsi ich.

55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph and Jutah,

Maon, Karmel, i Zyf, i Juta.

56 and Jezreel and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

I Jezrael, i Jukiedam, i Zanoe;

57 Kain, Gibeah and Timnah, —ten cities, with their villages.

Kain, Gabaa, i Tamna, miast dziesięć, i wsi ich.

58 Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,

Halhul, Betsur i Giedor;

59 and Maarath and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon, —six cities, with their villages.

60 Kiriath-baal, the same, is Kiriath-jearim, and Rabbah, —two cities, with their villages.

Karyjat Baal, które jest Karyjatyjarym, i Rabba, miasta dwa, i wsi ich.

61 In the desert, —Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,

A na puszczy: Bet Araba, Meddyn, i Sechacha;

62 and Nibshan and the City of Salt, and En-gedi, —six cities, with their villages.

I Nebsan, i miasto Soli, i Engaddy, miast sześć, i wsi ich.

63 But, as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not dispossess them, —so the Jebusites have dwelt with the sons of Judah, in Jerusalem, until this day.

Ale Jebuzejczyka, obywatela Jeruzalemskiego, nie mogli synowie Judowi wypędzić; przetoż mieszkał Jebuzejczyk z syny Juda w Jeruzalemie aż do dnia tego.
