Joshua 13
1 Now, Joshua, was old, advanced in days, —so then Yahweh said unto him—Thou, art old, advanced in days, and, much the larger part of the land, remaineth to be possessed.
Joshua akati akwegura ava namakore mazhinji kwazvo, Jehovha akati kwaari, “Wakwegura kwazvo, uye kuchine nzvimbo zhinji dzinofanira kutorwa.
2 This, is the land that remaineth, —all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshuri;
“Iyi ndiyo nyika yasara: nyika dzose dzavaFiristia, navaGeshuri:
3 from the Shihor which faceth Egypt, even as far as the boundary of Ekron, northward, to the Canaanites, is it counted, —five princes of Philistines, the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avvim
“Kubva kuRwizi rweShihori kumabvazuva kweIjipiti, kusvikira kudunhu reEkironi nechokumusoro, iyo yose yainzi ndeyavaKenani (matunhu amadzishe mashanu avaFiristia muGaza, Ashidhodhi, Ashikeroni, Gati, neEkironi yavaAvhiti);
4 on the south: all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah which belongeth to the Zidonians, as far as Aphek, —as far as the boundary of the Amorites;
kubva zasi nyika yose yavaKenani, kubva kuAra yevaSidhoni kusvikira kuAfeki, nyika yavaAmori,
5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all the Lebanon, to the rising of the sun, from Baal-gad, under Mount Hermon, —as far as the entering in of Hamath:

6 all the inhabitants of the hill country, from the Lebanon as far as Misrephoth-maim—all the Zidonians, I myself, will dispossess them from before the sons of Israel, —nevertheless, assign thou it by lot unto Israel, for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
“Kana vari vanhu vose vanogara munyika dzamakomo kubva kuRebhanoni kusvika kuMisirefoti Maimi, zvichireva vaSidhoni vose, ini pachangu ndichavadzinga pamberi pavana vaIsraeri. Unofanira kugovera nyika iyi kuvana vaIsraeri kuti ive nhaka yavo sezvandakurayira,
7 Now, therefore, apportion this land as an inheritance, unto the nine tribes, —and the half tribe of Manasseh.
uye ugoigovanisa senhaka pakati pamarudzi mapfumbamwe nehafu yorudzi rwaManase.”
8 With them, the, Reubenites and the Gadites, received their inheritance, —which Moses gave them beyond the Jordan, eastward, as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave unto them:
Imwe hafu yaManase, navaRubheni navaGadhi, vakanga vagamuchira nhaka yavakanga vapiwa naMozisi kumabvazuva kweJorodhani, sokuvagovera kwaakanga aita, iye muranda waJehovha.
9 from Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon, and the city, which is in the midst of the ravine, and all the table-land of Medeba, as far as Dibon;
Yaibva kuAroeri nechokumusoro kwomupata weArinoni ichibvawo kuguta riri pakati pomupata, zvichibatanidzira bani rose reMedhebha kusvikira kuDhibhoni,
10 and all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, —as far as the boundary of the sons of Ammon;
uye maguta ose aSihoni mambo wavaAmori, aitonga muHeshibhoni, kusvikira kumuganhu wavaAmoni.
11 and Gilead, and the boundary of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan, as far as Salecah;
Yaibatanidzirawo Gireadhi, nenyika yavanhu veGeshuri neMaaka neGomo rose reHemoni uye neBhashani kusvikira kuSareka,
12 all the kingdom of Og, in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, —he, being left of the remnant of the giants; and Moses smote them and dispossessed them;
zvichireva umambo hwose hwaOgi muBhashani, akanga akambotonga muAshitaroti neEdhirei uye akanga apunyuka akava mumwe wavakanga vasara pakati pavaRefaiti. Mozisi akanga avakunda akavatorera nyika yavo.
13 the sons of Israel, however, did not dispossess, the Geshurites or the Maacathites, —but Geshur and Maacath have remained in the midst of Israel until this day.
Asi vaIsraeri havana kudzinga vanhu veGeshuri neMaaka, naizvozvo vagere pakati pavaIsraeri kusvikira nhasi.
14 Howbeit, unto the tribe of Levi, gave he no inheritance, —the altar-flames of Yahweh God of Israel, are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.
Asi kurudzi rwaRevhi haana kupa nhaka, sezvo zvipiriso zvaiitwa nomoto kuna Jehovha Mwari waIsraeri, zviri izvo nhaka yavo, sezvaakavavimbisa.
15 Thus then Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the tribe of the sons of Reuben by their families;
Iyi ndiyo nhaka yakanga yapiwa rudzi rwaRubheni naMozisi, mhuri nemhuri:
16 and their boundary was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon and the city which is in the midst of the ravine and all the table-land by Medeba;
Nyika yose kubva kuAroeri, nechokumucheto kwoMupata weArinoni, uye kubva muguta pakati pomupata, bani rose kupfuura Medhebha
17 Heshbon and all her cities which are on the table-land, —Dibon and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;
kusvikira kuHeshibhoni namaguta ose ari mubani, kusanganisa Dhibhoni, Bhamoti Bhaari, Bheti Bhaari Meoni,
18 and Jahaz and Kedemoth and Maphaath;
Jahazi, Kedhemoti, Mefaati,
19 and Kiriathaim and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar on the mount of the vale;
Kiriataimi, Sibhima Zereti Shahari pachikomo chiri mumupata,
20 and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
Bheti-Peori, nemitenusirwa yePisiga, neBheti Jeshimoti,
21 and all the cities of the table-land, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, —whom Moses smote—with the princes of Midian, Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, dukes of Sihon dwelling in the land;

22 Balaam also son of Beor, the diviner, did the sons of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.
Kuchiverengwa navaya vakanga vaurayiwa muhondo, vaIsraeri vakanga vauraya nomunondo Bharamu mwanakomana waBheori uyo aiita zvokuvuka.
23 And so the boundary of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and district. This, is the inheritance of the sons of Reuben by their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
Muganhu wavaRubheni wakanga uri mahombekombe erwizi rweJorodhani. Maguta aya nemisha yawo ndiwo aiva nhaka yavaRubheni mhuri nemhuri.
24 And Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the tribe of Gad, unto the sons of Gad by their families;
Izvi ndizvo zvakapiwa rudzi rwavaGadhi naMozisi, mhuri nemhuri:
25 and their boundary was—Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the sons of Ammon, —as far as Aroer, which faceth Rabbah;
Nyika yeJazeri, namaguta ose eGireadhi, nehafu yenyika yavaAmoni, kusvikira kuAroeri, pedyo neRabha;
26 and from Heshbon as far as Ramath-mizpeh, and Botonim, —and from Mahanaim as far as the boundary of Debir;
nokubva kuHeshibhoni, kusvikira kuRamati Mizipa neBhetonimu, uye kubva kuMabhanaimu kusvika kunyika yeDhebhiri;
27 and in the valley—Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and district, —as far as the end of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan eastward.
nomumupata, Bheti Haramu, Bheti Nimura, Sukoti neZafoni nohumwe ushe hwakanga hwasara hwaSihoni mambo weHeshibhoni, (kumabvazuva kweJorodhani nenyika inosvika panogumira Gungwa reKinereti).
28 This, is the inheritance of the sons of Gad, by their families, —the cities and the villages thereof.
Maguta aya nemisha yawo akanga ari nhaka yavaGadhi, mhuri nemhuri.
29 And Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the half tribe of Manasseh, —so it belonged to the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh by their families;
Izvi ndizvo zvakanga zvapiwa hafu yorudzi rwaManase naMozisi, ndiko kuti, kuhafu yemhuri yezvizvarwa zvaManase, mhuri nemhuri:
30 and their boundary was—from Mahanaim all Bashan all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan and all the Encampments of Jair which are in Bashan three-score cities;
Nyika yavo yaibva paMahanaimi, ichibatanidzira neBhashani yose, noushe hwose hwaOgi mambo weBhashani nemisha yose yeJairi, yaiva paBhashani, maguta makumi matanhatu;
31 and, half Gilead and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, pertained to the sons of Machir son of Manasseh, to half the sons of Machir by their families.
hafu yeGireadhi, neAshitaroti neEdhirei, (maguta oushe hwaOgi muBhashani). Iyi ndiyo yaiva nhaka yezvizvarwa zvaMakiri mwanakomana waManase, zvehafu yavanakomana vaMakiri, mhuri nemhuri.
32 These, are [the portions] which Moses gave for inheritance, in the waste plains of Moab, —over the Jordan by Jericho eastward.
Ndiyo nhaka yakagoverwa naMozisi pamapani eMoabhu, mhiri kwaJorodhani, kumabvazuva kweJeriko.
33 But, unto the tribe of Levi, Moses gave no inheritance, —Yahweh God of Israel, he, was their inheritance, as he spake unto them.
Asi rudzi rwaRevhi haruna kupiwa nhaka naMozisi; Jehovha, Mwari wavaIsraeri, ndiye nhaka yavo, sezvaakavavimbisa.
