Joshua 13

1 Now, Joshua, was old, advanced in days, —so then Yahweh said unto him—Thou, art old, advanced in days, and, much the larger part of the land, remaineth to be possessed.

യോശുവ വയസ്സുചെന്നു വൃദ്ധനായപ്പോൾ യഹോവ അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: നീ വയസ്സുചെന്നു വൃദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി ഏറ്റവും വളരെ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാനുണ്ടു.

2 This, is the land that remaineth, —all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshuri;

ഇനിയും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശം ഏതെന്നാൽ: മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ കിഴക്കുള്ള സീഹോർമുതൽ വടക്കോട്ടു കനാന്യൎക്കുള്ളതെന്നു എണ്ണിവരുന്ന എക്രോന്റെ അതിർവരെയുള്ള ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും ഗെശൂൎയ്യരും;

3 from the Shihor which faceth Egypt, even as far as the boundary of Ekron, northward, to the Canaanites, is it counted, —five princes of Philistines, the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avvim

ഗസ്സാത്യൻ, അസ്തോദ്യൻ, അസ്കലോന്യൻ, ഗിത്ത്യൻ, എക്രോന്യൻ എന്നീ അഞ്ചു ഫെലിസ്ത്യ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും;

4 on the south: all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah which belongeth to the Zidonians, as far as Aphek, —as far as the boundary of the Amorites;

തെക്കുള്ള അവ്യരും അഫേക് വരെയും അമോൎയ്യരുടെ അതിർവരെയുമുള്ള കനാന്യരുടെ ദേശം ഒക്കെയും

5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all the Lebanon, to the rising of the sun, from Baal-gad, under Mount Hermon, —as far as the entering in of Hamath:

സീദോന്യൎക്കുള്ള മെയാരയും ഗിബെല്യരുടെ ദേശവും കിഴക്കു ഹെൎമ്മോൻ പൎവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവരാത്തിലെ ബാൽ-ഗാദ്മുതൽ ഹമാത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്ന സ്ഥലംവരെയുള്ള ലെബാനോൻ ഒക്കെയും;

6 all the inhabitants of the hill country, from the Lebanon as far as Misrephoth-maim—all the Zidonians, I myself, will dispossess them from before the sons of Israel, —nevertheless, assign thou it by lot unto Israel, for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

ലെബാനോൻമുതൽ മിസ്രെഫോത്ത്മയീംവരെയുള്ള പൎവ്വതവാസികൾ ഒക്കെയും എല്ലാസീദോന്യരും തന്നേ; ഇവരെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു അതു അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിച്ചാൽ മതി.

7 Now, therefore, apportion this land as an inheritance, unto the nine tribes, —and the half tribe of Manasseh.

ആകയാൽ ഈ ദേശം ഒമ്പതു ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്നും അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിക്ക.

8 With them, the, Reubenites and the Gadites, received their inheritance, —which Moses gave them beyond the Jordan, eastward, as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave unto them:

അവനോടുകൂടെ രൂബേന്യരും ഗാദ്യരും മോശെ അവൎക്കു യോൎദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കിഴക്കു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള അവകാശം യഹോവയുടെ ദാസനായ മോശെ കൊടുത്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

9 from Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon, and the city, which is in the midst of the ravine, and all the table-land of Medeba, as far as Dibon;

അൎന്നോൻതാഴ്‌വരയുടെ അറ്റത്തുള്ള അരോവേരും താഴ്‌വരയുടെ നടുവിലുള്ള പട്ടണംമുതൽ ദീബോൻവരെയുള്ള മേദെബാസമഭൂമി മുഴുവനും;

10 and all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, —as far as the boundary of the sons of Ammon;

അമ്മോന്യരുടെ അതിർവരെ ഹെശ്ബോനിൽ വാണിരുന്ന അമോൎയ്യ രാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും;

11 and Gilead, and the boundary of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan, as far as Salecah;

ഗിലെയാദും ഗെശൂൎയ്യരുടെയും മാഖാത്യരുടെയും ദേശവും ഹെൎമ്മോൻപൎവ്വതം ഒക്കെയും സൽക്കാവരെയുള്ള ബാശാൻ മുഴുവനും;

12 all the kingdom of Og, in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, —he, being left of the remnant of the giants; and Moses smote them and dispossessed them;

അസ്താരോത്തിലും എദ്രെയിലും വാണവനും മല്ലന്മാരിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവനുമായ ബാശാനിലെ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യം ഒക്കെയും തന്നേ; ഇവരെ മോശെ തോല്പിച്ചു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

13 the sons of Israel, however, did not dispossess, the Geshurites or the Maacathites, —but Geshur and Maacath have remained in the midst of Israel until this day.

എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഗെശൂൎയ്യരെയും മാഖാത്യരെയും നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ല; അവർ ഇന്നുവരെയും യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാൎത്തുവരുന്നു.

14 Howbeit, unto the tribe of Levi, gave he no inheritance, —the altar-flames of Yahweh God of Israel, are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.

ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിന്നു അവൻ ഒരു അവകാശവും കൊടുത്തില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങൾ താൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവരുടെ അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.

15 Thus then Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the tribe of the sons of Reuben by their families;

എന്നാൽ മോശെ രൂബേൻഗോത്രത്തിന്നു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി അവകാശം കൊടുത്തു.

16 and their boundary was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon and the city which is in the midst of the ravine and all the table-land by Medeba;

അവരുടെ ദേശം അൎന്നോൻ താഴ്‌വരയുടെ അറ്റത്തെ അരോവേരും താഴ്‌വരയുടെ നടുവിലെ പട്ടണവും മുതൽ മേദബയോടു ചേൎന്ന സമഭൂമി മുഴുവനും ഹെശ്ബോനും സമഭൂമിയിലുള്ള

17 Heshbon and all her cities which are on the table-land, —Dibon and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;

അതിന്റെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും ദീബോനും ബാമോത്ത്-ബാലും ബേത്ത്-ബാൽ-മേയോനും

18 and Jahaz and Kedemoth and Maphaath;

യഹ്സയും കെദേമോത്തും മേഫാത്തും കിൎയ്യത്തയീമും

19 and Kiriathaim and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar on the mount of the vale;

സിബ്മയും സമഭൂമിയിലെ മലയിലുള്ള സേരെത്ത്-ശഹരും

20 and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;

ബേത്ത്-പെയോരും പിസ്ഗച്ചരിവുകളും ബേത്ത്-യെശീമോത്തും

21 and all the cities of the table-land, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, —whom Moses smote—with the princes of Midian, Evi and Rekem and Zur and Hur and Reba, dukes of Sihon dwelling in the land;

സമഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും ഹെശ്ബോനിൽ വാണിരുന്ന അമോൎയ്യരാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യം ഒക്കെയും തന്നേ; അവനെയും സീഹോന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായി ദേശത്തു പാൎത്തിരുന്ന ഏവി, രേക്കെം, സൂർ, ഹൂർ, രേബ എന്നീ മിദ്യാന്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും മോശെ സംഹരിച്ചു.

22 Balaam also son of Beor, the diviner, did the sons of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.

യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ കൊന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബിലെയാം എന്ന പ്രശ്നക്കാരനെയും വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നു.

23 And so the boundary of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and district. This, is the inheritance of the sons of Reuben by their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

രൂബേന്യരുടെ അതിർ യോൎദ്ദാൻ ആയിരുന്നു; ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുൾപ്പെടെ രൂബേന്യൎക്കു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ അവകാശം.

24 And Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the tribe of Gad, unto the sons of Gad by their families;

പിന്നെ മോശെ ഗാദ്ഗോത്രത്തിന്നു, കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി ഗാദ്യൎക്കു തന്നേ, അവകാശം കൊടുത്തു.

25 and their boundary was—Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the sons of Ammon, —as far as Aroer, which faceth Rabbah;

അവരുടെ ദേശം യസേരും ഗിലെയാദിലെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളും രബ്ബയുടെ നേരെയുള്ള അരോവേർവരെ അമ്മോന്യരുടെ പാതിദേശവും;

26 and from Heshbon as far as Ramath-mizpeh, and Botonim, —and from Mahanaim as far as the boundary of Debir;

ഹെശ്ബോൻ മുതൽ രാമത്ത്-മിസ്പെയും ബെതോനീമുംവരെയും മഹനയീംമുതൽ ദെബീരിന്റെ അതിർവരെയും;

27 and in the valley—Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and district, —as far as the end of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan eastward.

താഴ്‌വരയിൽ ഹെശ്ബോൻ രാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള ബേത്ത്-ഹാരാം, ബേത്ത്-നിമ്രാം, സുക്കോത്ത്, സാഫോൻ എന്നിവയും തന്നേ; യോൎദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കിഴക്കു കിന്നെരോത്ത് തടാകത്തിന്റെ അറുതിവരെ യോൎദ്ദാൻ അതിന്നു അതിരായിരുന്നു.

28 This, is the inheritance of the sons of Gad, by their families, —the cities and the villages thereof.

ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുൾപ്പെടെ കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി ഗാദ്യൎക്കു കിട്ടിയ അവകാശം.

29 And Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the half tribe of Manasseh, —so it belonged to the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh by their families;

പിന്നെ മോശെ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്നു അവകാശം കൊടുത്തു; കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്നുള്ള അവകാശം ഇതു:

30 and their boundary was—from Mahanaim all Bashan all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan and all the Encampments of Jair which are in Bashan three-score cities;

അവരുടെ ദേശം മഹനയീംമുതൽ ബാശാൻ മുഴുവനും ബാശാൻരാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യമൊക്കെയും ബാശാനിൽ യായീരിന്റെ ഊരുകൾ എല്ലാംകൂടി അറുപതു പട്ടണങ്ങളും

31 and, half Gilead and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, pertained to the sons of Machir son of Manasseh, to half the sons of Machir by their families.

പാതിഗിലെയാദും ബാശാനിലെ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളായ അസ്തരോത്ത്, എദ്രെയി എന്നിവയും തന്നേ; ഇവ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കു, മാഖീരിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ പാതിപ്പേൎക്കു തന്നേ, കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടി.

32 These, are [the portions] which Moses gave for inheritance, in the waste plains of Moab, —over the Jordan by Jericho eastward.

ഇതു മോശെ യെരീഹോവിന്നു കിഴക്കു യോൎദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു ഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.

33 But, unto the tribe of Levi, Moses gave no inheritance, —Yahweh God of Israel, he, was their inheritance, as he spake unto them.

ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിന്നോ മോശെ ഒരു അവകാശവും കൊടുത്തില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ താൻ തന്നേ അവരുടെ അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.
