< Joshua 13 >

1 Now, Joshua, was old, advanced in days, —so then Yahweh said unto him—Thou, art old, advanced in days, and, much the larger part of the land, remaineth to be possessed.
Joshua teh a matawng a kumcue toung dawkvah, BAWIPA Cathut ni, nang teh na matawng toe. Na la hane talai hai moi ao rah.
2 This, is the land that remaineth, —all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshuri;
Kaawm rae talainaw teh, Filistin ram hoi kamtawng teh, Geshurit ram pueng,
3 from the Shihor which faceth Egypt, even as far as the boundary of Ekron, northward, to the Canaanites, is it counted, —five princes of Philistines, the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, also the Avvim
Izip ram kanîtholah Shihor palang hoi kamtawng teh, atunglah Ekron khori totouh, Kanaannaw a onae ram, Filistin siangpahrang panga touh, Gazanaw Asdodnaw, Askelonnaw, Gitnaw, Ekronnaw, Avvimnaw onae ram,

aka lahoi kamtawng teh, Amor ram, Aphek kho totouh, Kanaan ram pueng hoi Sidon ram a tengpam kaawm e Mearah ram,
5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all the Lebanon, to the rising of the sun, from Baal-gad, under Mount Hermon, —as far as the entering in of Hamath:
Kanîtholah Hermon mon rahim kaawm e Baalgad kho hoi kamtawng teh, Hamath kho kâennae totouh, Gebal ram, Lebanon ram totouh ao rah.
6 all the inhabitants of the hill country, from the Lebanon as far as Misrephoth-maim—all the Zidonians, I myself, will dispossess them from before the sons of Israel, —nevertheless, assign thou it by lot unto Israel, for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 Now, therefore, apportion this land as an inheritance, unto the nine tribes, —and the half tribe of Manasseh.
Atuteh hete ram hah Isarel miphun tako touh hoi Manasseh miphun tangawn hah râw lah kârei sak.
8 With them, the, Reubenites and the Gadites, received their inheritance, —which Moses gave them beyond the Jordan, eastward, as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave unto them:
Reuben miphun, Gad miphun, Manasseh miphun tangawn hah, Jordan palang kanîtholah Mosi ni raphoe awh e patetlah, namamae râw talai hah na dâw awh toe atipouh.
9 from Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon, and the city, which is in the midst of the ravine, and all the table-land of Medeba, as far as Dibon;

Amor ram a pout totouh, Heshbon kho siangpahrang ka tawk e Ammon siangpahrang, Sihon ni a uk e khonaw pueng,
11 and Gilead, and the boundary of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan, as far as Salecah;
Gilead ram Geshurnaw, Maakathnaw onae ram, Hermon mon kaawm e pueng, Salkah ram totouh, Bashan ram pueng,
12 all the kingdom of Og, in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, —he, being left of the remnant of the giants; and Moses smote them and dispossessed them;
kalenpounge miphunnaw thung hoi kaawm rae naw, Ashtaroth kho, Edrei kho, siangpahrang ka tawk e Bashan siangpahrang, Og e uknaeram abuemlah ao awh. Hote siangpahrangnaw hah Mosi ni koung a thei teh koung a raphoe.
13 the sons of Israel, however, did not dispossess, the Geshurites or the Maacathites, —but Geshur and Maacath have remained in the midst of Israel until this day.
Hatei Isarelnaw ni Geshurnaw, Maakathnaw hah, pâlei awh hoeh. Hote miphunnaw teh, sahnin totouh Isarelnaw hoi rei ao awh.
14 Howbeit, unto the tribe of Levi, gave he no inheritance, —the altar-flames of Yahweh God of Israel, are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.
Levih miphunnaw teh, râw poe awh hoeh. Isarelnaw e BAWIPA Cathut ni hmai hoi thuengnae naw hah, a dei pouh e patetlah ahnimae râw lah ao.
15 Thus then Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the tribe of the sons of Reuben by their families;

16 and their boundary was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon and the city which is in the midst of the ravine and all the table-land by Medeba;

23 And so the boundary of the sons of Reuben was the Jordan and district. This, is the inheritance of the sons of Reuben by their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

27 and in the valley—Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah and Succoth and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and district, —as far as the end of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan eastward.
Tanghling dawkvah, Bethharam kho, Bethnimrah kho, Sukkoth kho, Zaphon kho a kamtawng koehoi Jordan palang kanîtholah, Jordan palang kâkapeknae, Khinneroth, tuipui totouh, Heshbon siangpahrang, Sihon ni a uknaeram kaawm e hah pueng a poe.
28 This, is the inheritance of the sons of Gad, by their families, —the cities and the villages thereof.
Hetnaw heh Gad miphun lahoi râw lah a coe e khonaw lah ao.
29 And Moses gave [an inheritance] unto the half tribe of Manasseh, —so it belonged to the half tribe of the sons of Manasseh by their families;

31 and, half Gilead and Ashtaroth and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, pertained to the sons of Machir son of Manasseh, to half the sons of Machir by their families.

33 But, unto the tribe of Levi, Moses gave no inheritance, —Yahweh God of Israel, he, was their inheritance, as he spake unto them.
