1 Now, these, are the kings of the land, whom the sons of Israel had smitten, and of whose land they had taken possession, over the Jordan, towards the rising of the sun, —from the ravine of Arnon, as far as Mount Hermon, and all the waste plain, on the east:

Estes pois são os reis da terra, aos quaes os filhos de Israel feriram e possuiram a sua terra d'além do Jordão ao nascente do sol: desde o ribeiro d'Arnon, até ao monte d'Hermon, e toda a planicie do oriente.

2 Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, —ruling from Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon, and the middle of the ravine, and half Gilead, even as far as the ravine Jabbok, the boundary of the sons of Ammon;

Sehon, rei dos amorrheos, que habitava em Hesbon e que senhoreava desde Aroer, que está á borda do ribeiro d'Arnon, e desde o meio do ribeiro, e desde a metade de Gilead, e até ao ribeiro de Jabbok, o termo dos filhos de Ammon;

3 and the waste plain as far as the sea of Chinneroth, on the east, even as far as the sea of the waste plain, the salt sea, on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth, —and, on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah;

E desde a campina até ao mar de Cinneroth para o oriente, e até ao mar da campina, o mar salgado para o oriente, pelo caminho de Beth-jesimoth: e desde o sul abaixo d'Asdoth-pisga.

4 and the boundary of Og, king of Bashan, of the remnant of the giants, —him who dwelt in Ashtaroth and in Edrei;

Como tambem o termo de Og, rei de Basan, que era do resto dos gigantes, e que habitava em Astaroth e em Edrei;

5 ruling also in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, as far as the boundary of the Geshurites, and the Maacathites, —and half Gilead, the boundary of Sihon king of Heshbon: —

E senhoreava no monte Hermon, e em Salcha, e em toda a Basan, até ao termo dos gesureos e dos maacateos, e metade de Gilead, termo de Sehon, rei de Hesbon.

6 Moses the servant of Yahweh, and the sons of Israel, had smitten them, —and Moses the servant of Yahweh, had given it, as a possession, unto the Reubenites, and unto the Gadites, and unto the half tribe of Manasseh.

A estes Moysés, servo do Senhor, e os filhos de Israel feriram: e Moysés, servo do Senhor, deu esta terra aos rubenitas, e aos gaditas, e á meia tribu de Manasseh em possessão.

7 And, these, are the kings of the land, whom Joshua and the sons of Israel smote over the Jordan, towards the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of the Lebanon, even as far as the Mount Halak that goeth up towards Seir, —and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel, as a possession, according to their portions;

E estes são os reis da terra aos quaes feriu Josué e os filhos de Israel d'áquem do Jordão para o occidente, desde Baal-gad, no valle do Libano, até ao monte calvo, que sobe a Seir: e Josué a deu ás tribus de Israel em possessão, segundo as suas divisões;

8 in the hill country and in the lowland, and in the waste plain, and in the slopes, and in the desert, and in the south, —the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: —

O que havia nas montanhas, e nas planicies, e nas campinas, e nas descidas das aguas, e no deserto, e para o sul: o heteo, o amorrheo, e o cananeo, o pherezeo, o heveo, e o jebuseo.

9 The king of Jericho, one, the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one,

O rei de Jericó, um; o rei d'Ai, que está ao lado de Bethel, outro;

10 The king of Jerusalem, one, the king of Hebron, one,

O rei de Jerusalem, outro; o rei d'Hebron, outro;

11 The king of Jarmuth, one, the king of Lachish, one,

O rei de Jarmuth, outro; o rei de Lachis, outro;

12 The king of Eglon, one, the king of Gezer, one,

O rei d'Eglon, outro; o rei de Geser, outro;

13 The king of Debir, one, the king of Geder, one,

O rei de Debir, outro; o rei de Geder, outro;

14 The king of Hormah, one, the king of Arad, one,

O rei d'Horma, outro; o rei d'Harad, outro;
