Joshua 11

1 And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor heard, that he sent unto Jobab king of Madon, and unto the king of Shimron, and unto the king of Achshaph;

ئینجا کاتێک یاڤینی پاشای حاچۆر ئەمەی بیستەوە، نێردراوی نارد بۆ لای یۆڤاڤی پاشای مادۆن و پاشای شیمرۆن و پاشای ئەکشاف و

2 and unto the kings who were on the north in the hill country and in the waste plain south of Chinneroth, and in the lowland, —and in the heights of Dor, on the west:

ئەو پاشایانەی لە باکوور لە چیان و لە دەشتایی عەراڤا خوارووی کینەرەت و لە زوورگەکانی خۆرئاوا و لە بەرزاییەکانی دۆرە لە ڕۆژئاوا،

3 the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite and the Jebusite, in the hill country, —and the Hivite, under Hermon, in the land of Mizpah;

کەنعانییەکان لە ڕۆژهەڵات و ڕۆژئاوا، ئەمۆری و حیتی و پریزی و یەبوسییەکان لە ناوچە شاخاوییەکان و حیڤییەکانی بناری حەرمۆن لە خاکی میچپا.

4 and they came out—they, and all their hosts with them, much people, like the sand that is upon the seashore for multitude, —with horses and chariots very many.

جا خۆیان و هەموو لەشکرەکانیان لەگەڵیان هاتنە دەرەوە، سوپایەکی گەورە وەک لمی کەناری دەریا، بە ئەسپ و گالیسکەیەکی زۆر زۆرەوە.

5 And, when all these kings were gathered together, they came in, and encamped as one man, at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.

ئینجا هەموو ئەو پاشایانە لە کاتی دیاریکراودا کۆبوونەوە و هاتن، لەلای جۆگەی مێرۆم چادریان هەڵدا بۆ ئەوەی لە دژی ئیسرائیل بجەنگن.

6 Then said Yahweh unto Joshua—Do not fear because of them, for, to-morrow, about this time, am I going to deliver up all of them, slain, before Israel, —their horses, shalt thou ham-string, and, their chariots, shalt thou burn up with fire.

یەزدانیش بە یەشوعی فەرموو: «لێیان مەترسە، چونکە سبەینێ لەم کاتەدا هەموویان بە کوژراوی فڕێدەدەمە بەردەم ئیسرائیل، جا دەماری پێی ئەسپەکانیان ببڕەوە و گالیسکەکانیان بە ئاگر بسووتێنە.»

7 So Joshua, and all the army with him, came in upon them, by the waters of Merom, suddenly, and fell upon them.

ئینجا یەشوع و هەموو جەنگاوەرەکان لەگەڵیدا لەناکاو لە نزیک جۆگەی مێرۆم هاتنە سەریان.

8 And Yahweh delivered them up into the hand of Israel, and they smote them, and chased them as far as great Zidon, and as far as Misrephoth-maim, and as far as the valley of Mizpeh, eastward, —yea they smote them until they left them not a survivor.

یەزدانیش ئەوانی دایە دەست ئیسرائیل، ئەوانیش لێیان دان و دەریانپەڕاندن هەتا سەیدائی مەزن و میسرەفۆت مەیم و دۆڵی میچپا لە ڕۆژهەڵات، جا لێیان دان هەتا کەسیان لێیان نەهێشت.

9 And Joshua did unto them, as Yahweh had said unto him, —their horses, he ham-strung, and, their chariots, burned he up with fire.

یەشوع ئەوەی پێکردن کە یەزدان پێی فەرموو، دەماری پێی ئەسپەکانی ئەوانی بڕی و گالیسکەکانی سووتاندن.

10 Then Joshua turned back, at that time, and captured Hazor, and, the king thereof, smote he with the sword, —for, Hazor, aforetime, was the head of all these kingdoms.

ئینجا لەو کاتەدا یەشوع گەڕایەوە و شاری حاچۆری گرت و بە شمشێر لە پاشاکەی دا. پێشتر حاچۆر پایتەختی هەموو ئەو پاشایەتییانە بوو.

11 And they smote all the souls that were therein, with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, there was left no breathing thing, —and, Hazor, burned he up with fire.

هەموو گیانێک کە تێیدابوو دایانە بەر زەبری شمشێر، بە تەواوی قڕیان کردن و هەناسەیەکی تێدا نەما، حاچۆریشیان سووتاند.

12 And, all the cities of these kings, and all the kings thereof, did Joshua capture, and he smote them with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, —as Moses, the servant of Yahweh, commanded.

ئینجا یەشوع هەموو ئەو شارانەی کە پاشایان هەبوو بە پاشاکانیانەوە گرتی و دایە بەر زەبری شمشێر، بە تەواوی قڕی کردن، هەروەک موسای بەندەی یەزدان فەرمانی دابوو.

13 Yet, none of the cities that were still standing upon their mound, did Israel burn, none but Hazor alone, did Joshua burn.

بەڵام ئیسرائیل ئەو شارانەی نەسووتاند کە لەسەر گردەکان بوون، تەنها حاچۆر، یەشوع بە تەنها ئەوی سووتاند.

14 But, all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, did the sons of Israel take as their prey, —nevertheless, all the human beings, smote they with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, they left remaining no breathing thing.

نەوەی ئیسرائیل هەموو دەستکەوتەکانی ئەو شارانە و ئاژەڵە ماڵییەکانیان بۆ خۆیان تاڵان کرد. بەڵام هەموو دانیشتووانەکانیان دایە بەر شمشێر هەتا بە تەواوی لەناویانبردن، هیچ زیندووێکیان تێدا نەهێشتەوە.

15 As Yahweh commanded Moses his servant, so, Moses commanded Joshua, and, so, Joshua, did, he set aside nothing of all that Yahweh commanded Moses.

هەروەک یەزدان فەرمانی بە موسای بەندەی کردبوو، موساش ئاوا فەرمانی بە یەشوع کرد و یەشوعیش ئاوای کرد، هیچ شتێکی پشتگوێ نەخست، لە هەموو ئەوەی یەزدان فەرمانی بە موسا کردبوو.

16 So Joshua took all this land—the hill country, and all the south, and all the land of Goshen, and the lowland, and the waste plain, —and the hill country of Israel, and the lowland thereof:

جا یەشوع هەموو ئەو خاکانەی گرت: ناوچە شاخاوییەکە و هەموو نەقەب و هەموو خاکی گۆشەن و زوورگەکانی خۆرئاوا و دەشتایی عەراڤا و چیاکانی ئیسرائیل و زوورگەکانی،

17 from Mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even as far as Baal-gad, in the valley of the Lebanon, under Mount Hermon, —and, all their kings, he captured, and smote them, and put them to death.

لە کێوی حالاقەوە کە بەرەو سێعیر سەردەکەوێت هەتا بەعل‌گاد لە دۆڵی لوبنان لە بناری چیای حەرمۆن، هەموو پاشاکانیشی گرتن و لێیدان و کوشتنی.

18 Many days, did Joshua, with all these kings, make war.

یەشوع ماوەیەکی زۆر لەگەڵ ئەو پاشایانەدا جەنگا،

19 There was not a city that made peace with the sons of Israel, save the Hivites dwelling in Gibeon, —the whole, took they in battle.

هیچ شارێک پەیمانی ئاشتیی لەگەڵ ئیسرائیلدا نەبەست، تەنها حیڤییەکانی دانیشتووی گبعۆن نەبێت، بەڵکو هەموویانی بە جەنگ گرت،

20 For, from Yahweh, came it to pass, that their heart was emboldened to come out to war with Israel, that he might devote them to destruction, that they might find no favour, —but that he might destroy them, —as Yahweh commanded Moses.

چونکە یەزدان خۆی دڵیانی ڕەقکردبوو، هەتا لە جەنگدا بەرەنگاری ئیسرائیل ببنەوە، جا قڕ بکرێن و بەزەییان بەسەرەوە نەبێت، بەڵکو بە تەواوی لەناویان ببات، هەروەک یەزدان فەرمانی بە موسا کردبوو.

21 And Joshua came in, at that time, and cut off the Anakim from the hill country—from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel, —with their cities, did Joshua devote them to destruction.

لەو کاتەدا یەشوع چوو و عەناقییەکانی لە کێوی حەبرۆن و دەڤیر و عەناڤ و هەموو ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی یەهودا و هەموو ناوچە شاخاوییەکانی ئیسرائیل بنبڕ کرد. یەشوع لەگەڵ شارۆچکەکانیاندا بە تەواوی قڕی کردن.

22 There was left remaining none of the Anakim, in the land of the sons of Israel, —save only, in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, did some remain.

جا لە خاکی نەوەی ئیسرائیلدا عەناقییەکان نەمان، بەڵام هەندێکیان لە غەزە و گەت و ئەشدۆد مانەوە.

23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that Yahweh had spoken unto Moses, and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel, according to their portions by their tribes, —and, the land, had rest from war.

ئینجا یەشوع هەموو خاکەکەی گرت، بەپێی هەموو ئەوەی یەزدان بە موسای فەرمووبوو، یەشوع بەگوێرەی بەش و هۆزەکانیان بە میرات بە ئیسرائیلی دا. ئینجا خاکەکە لە جەنگ پشووی دا.
