< Joshua 11 >

1 And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor heard, that he sent unto Jobab king of Madon, and unto the king of Shimron, and unto the king of Achshaph;
Ke pweng ke kutangla lun Israel inge sonol Tokosra Jabin lun acn Hazor, el sapla nu sel Tokosra Jobab lun mwet Madon, ac nu sin tokosra lun acn Shimron ac acn Achshaph,
2 and unto the kings who were on the north in the hill country and in the waste plain south of Chinneroth, and in the lowland, —and in the heights of Dor, on the west:
ac nu sin tokosra nukewa fin acn tohktok in acn epang, ac Infahlfal Jordan eir in Lulu Galilee, ac pe eol uh, ac sisken meoa apkuran nu Dor.
3 the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite and the Jebusite, in the hill country, —and the Hivite, under Hermon, in the land of Mizpah;
4 and they came out—they, and all their hosts with them, much people, like the sand that is upon the seashore for multitude, —with horses and chariots very many.
Elos tuku wi mwet mweun puspis lalos, ac pisalos pus oana puk weacn uh. Oayapa pus horse ac chariot natulos.
5 And, when all these kings were gathered together, they came in, and encamped as one man, at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.
Tokosra inge nukewa wi mwet mweun lalos elos tukeni tuku ac tulokunak lohm nuknuk selos sisken infacl srisrik Merom, ac akola in mweun lain mwet Israel.
6 Then said Yahweh unto Joshua—Do not fear because of them, for, to-morrow, about this time, am I going to deliver up all of them, slain, before Israel, —their horses, shalt thou ham-string, and, their chariots, shalt thou burn up with fire.
LEUM GOD El fahk nu sel Joshua, “Nik kom sangeng selos, tuh pacl se inge lutu, nga fah onelosla nufon ke sripen Israel. Kom fah pakiya alko ke nien horse natulos, ac esukak chariot natulos.”
7 So Joshua, and all the army with him, came in upon them, by the waters of Merom, suddenly, and fell upon them.
Na Joshua ac mwet lal nukewa sa na sruokolosi meet liki elos akola sisken infacl srisrik Merom.
8 And Yahweh delivered them up into the hand of Israel, and they smote them, and chased them as far as great Zidon, and as far as Misrephoth-maim, and as far as the valley of Mizpeh, eastward, —yea they smote them until they left them not a survivor.
LEUM GOD El sang kutangla nu sin Israel fin mwet inge. Mwet Israel lainulos ac ukwalos nwe Misrephoth Maim ac Sidon nu eir, oayapa nwe ke Infahlfal Mizpah nu kutulap. Elos mweunelos nwe ke na wangin sie moul.
9 And Joshua did unto them, as Yahweh had said unto him, —their horses, he ham-strung, and, their chariots, burned he up with fire.
Joshua el oru nu selos oana ma LEUM GOD El sapkin — el pakela alko ke nien horse natulos ac esukak chariot natulos.
10 Then Joshua turned back, at that time, and captured Hazor, and, the king thereof, smote he with the sword, —for, Hazor, aforetime, was the head of all these kingdoms.
Na Joshua el forla sruokya acn Hazor, ac uniya tokosra se lun acn we. (In pacl sac acn Hazor pa ku fin mutunfacl ingo kewa.)
11 And they smote all the souls that were therein, with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, there was left no breathing thing, —and, Hazor, burned he up with fire.
Elos onelosla nufon mwet in acn sac. Wangin sie mwet lula. Na elos esukak siti sac.
12 And, all the cities of these kings, and all the kings thereof, did Joshua capture, and he smote them with the edge of the sword, devoting them to destruction, —as Moses, the servant of Yahweh, commanded.
Joshua el sruokya siti ingo kewa, oayapa tokosra lalos. El onelosla nufon, oana ma Moses, mwet kulansap lun LEUM GOD, el tuh sapkin.
13 Yet, none of the cities that were still standing upon their mound, did Israel burn, none but Hazor alone, did Joshua burn.
Tusruktu, mwet Israel elos tia esukak kutena siti su musala fin pwelung matu, sayen Hazor mukena, su Joshua el tuh esukak.
14 But, all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, did the sons of Israel take as their prey, —nevertheless, all the human beings, smote they with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, they left remaining no breathing thing.
Mwet Israel elos eis mwe kasrup ac kosro nut nukewa liki siti inge tuh in ma lalos. A elos uniya mwet nukewa, ac wangin sie lula.
15 As Yahweh commanded Moses his servant, so, Moses commanded Joshua, and, so, Joshua, did, he set aside nothing of all that Yahweh commanded Moses.
LEUM GOD El tuh sang ma sap lal nu sel Moses, mwet kulansap lal, ac Moses el sang nu sel Joshua, ac Joshua el akos. El oru ma nukewa oana ma LEUM GOD El tuh sapkin nu sel Moses.
16 So Joshua took all this land—the hill country, and all the south, and all the land of Goshen, and the lowland, and the waste plain, —and the hill country of Israel, and the lowland thereof:
Joshua el sruokya kewa acn inge, acn fineol uh ac pe eol uh, epang ac eir, oayapa acn Goshen nufon ac acn mwesis nu eir, ac Infahlfal Jordan.
17 from Mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even as far as Baal-gad, in the valley of the Lebanon, under Mount Hermon, —and, all their kings, he captured, and smote them, and put them to death.
Lupan mutunfacl se inge mutawauk ke Fineol Halak nu eir apkuran nu Edom, fahla nwe ke acn Baalgad nu epang, ke Infahlfal Lebanon su oan eir in Fineol Hermon.
18 Many days, did Joshua, with all these kings, make war.
Joshua el tuh mweuni tokosra lun acn inge ke pulan pacl na loes se. Tusruktu, el sruokolosi kewa ac el onelosla.
19 There was not a city that made peace with the sons of Israel, save the Hivites dwelling in Gibeon, —the whole, took they in battle.
Siti sefanna ma tuh orala misla yurin mwet Israel pa Gibeon, su pa inge acn se ma kutu sin mwet Hiv muta we. Siti nukewa saya sruhu ke mweun.
20 For, from Yahweh, came it to pass, that their heart was emboldened to come out to war with Israel, that he might devote them to destruction, that they might find no favour, —but that he might destroy them, —as Yahweh commanded Moses.
LEUM GOD El pirik insien mwet inge tuh elos in lungse mweun lain mwet Israel, elos in mau arulana sikiyukla ac anwuki nufon, in kalem lah wangin pakomuta nu selos. Pa inge ma LEUM GOD El tuh sapkin nu sel Moses.
21 And Joshua came in, at that time, and cut off the Anakim from the hill country—from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill country of Judah, and from all the hill country of Israel, —with their cities, did Joshua devote them to destruction.
In pacl se inge Joshua el som ac onelosla mwet yohk pisa ac ku su pangpang Anakim su muta fineol uh in acn Hebron, Debir, Anab, ac infulan eol in Judah ac Israel. Joshua el kunauselosla nukewa wi siti selos.
22 There was left remaining none of the Anakim, in the land of the sons of Israel, —save only, in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, did some remain.
Wangin mwet Anakim lula in facl sin mwet Israel. Tusruktu mwet ekasrna selos lula in acn Gaza, Gath, ac Ashdod.
23 So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that Yahweh had spoken unto Moses, and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel, according to their portions by their tribes, —and, the land, had rest from war.
Joshua el sruokya facl sac nufon in oana ma LEUM GOD El tuh sapkin nu sel Moses. Ac Joshua el sang facl sac tuh in mwe usru nu sin mwet Israel, ac kitalik fal nu ke kais sie sruf lalos. Na mwet uh mongla liki mweun.
