< Jonah 2 >
1 Then prayed Jonah, unto Yahweh, his God, —out of the belly of the fish;
Wuta na libumu ya mbisi, Yona asambelaki Yawe, Nzambe na ye.
2 and said—I cried—out of my distress—unto Yahweh, and he answered me, —Out of the belly of hades, called I, Thou didst hear my voice. (Sheol )
Alobaki: « Kati na mawa na ngai, nabelelaka Yawe, mpe ayanolaka ngai. Wuta kati na mboka ya bakufi, nasengaka lisungi, mpe ayokaka ngai. (Sheol )
3 For thou hast cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and, a flood, enveloped me, —All thy breakers and thy rolling waves, over me, passed.
Obwakaki ngai kati na libulu ya molili makasi, kati na mozindo ya ebale monene epai wapi mayi ezingeli ngai mpe bambonge na yo nyonso ekweyeli ngai.
4 And, I, said, I am driven out from before thine eyes, —Yet will I again have regard unto thy holy temple:
Nazali komilobela: ‹ Obengani ngai mosika na miso na Yo; nzokande ngai nazali kokoba kotalela Tempelo na Yo ya bule. ›
5 The waters, encompassed me, to the peril of my life, The roaring deep, enveloped me, —The sea-weed, was wrapped about my head:
Nazindi kino na kingo, mayi ya libulu ya molili makasi ezingeli ngai, matiti ya ebale ekangani-kangani zingazinga ya moto na ngai.
6 To the roots of the mountains, went I down, As for the earth, her bars, were about me, age-abidingly, —Then didst thou bring up—out of the pit—my life, O Yahweh my God.
Nazindi kino na esika oyo ngomba ebandaka, mabele esili kokanga bikangelo na yango sima na ngai mpo na libela. Kasi Yo Yawe, Nzambe na ngai, obimisi ngai ya bomoi wuta na libulu ya mozindo.
7 When my soul, darkened itself over me, Yahweh, I remembered, —and my prayer, came in unto thee, unto thy holy temple.
Wana nakomi pene ya kobungisa elikya, nakanisi Yo, Yawe, mpe libondeli na ngai emati kino epai na Yo, kino na Tempelo na Yo ya bule.
8 They who take heed to the vanities of falsehood, do, their own lovingkindness, forsake.
Bato oyo bakangamaka na banzambe ya bikeko ezanga tina babungisaka bolingo oyo Nzambe alingaka bango.
9 But, I, with the voice of praise, will sacrifice unto thee, What I have vowed, I will pay, —Salvation, belongeth to Yahweh!
Kasi ngai, na koyembaka nzembo ya matondi, nalingi kobanda kobonzelaka Yo bambeka mpe kokokisaka bilaka oyo nazali kopesa, pamba te lobiko ezali ya Yawe. »
10 So then Yahweh spake unto the fish, —and it vomited out Jonah, upon the dry land.
Mpe Yawe apesaki mitindo na mbisi, mpe mbala moko, mbisi esanzaki Yona na mokili.
