John 6
1 After these things, Jesus went away across the sea of Galilee, that is, of Tiberias;
Після сього пійшов Ісус на той бік моря Галилейського, Тивериядського,
2 and there was following him a great multitude, because they had been viewing the signs which he did upon such as were sick.
І йшло за Ним багато народу, бо бачили Його ознаки, що робив над недужими.
3 But Jesus had gone up into the mountain, and, there, was sitting with his disciples.
Зійшов же на гору Ісус, і сидїв там з учениками своїми.
4 Now the passover was near, the feast of the Jews.
Була ж близько пасха, сьвято Жидівське.
5 So then Jesus, lifting up his eyes, and beholding that a great multitude was coming unto him, saith unto Philip—Whence are we to buy loaves, that these may eat?
Знявши ж Ісус очі і побачивши, що багато народу йде до Него, рече до филипа: Звідкіля купимо хлїба, щоб вони попоїли?
6 But, this, he was saying, to test him; for, he himself, knew, what he was about to do.
Се ж сказав, вивідуючи його, бо сам знав, що має роботи.
7 Philip answered him—Two hundred denaries-worth of loaves, are not sufficient for them, that, each one, may take, a little.
Відказав Йому Филип: За двісті денариїв хлїба не стане їм, щоб кожному з них хоч трохи досталось.
8 One from among his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, saith unto him—
Каже Йому один з учеників Його, Андрей, брат Симона Петра:
9 There is a little lad here, that hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes, —but, these, —what are they, for such numbers?
Є тут хлопець один, що мав пять хлїбів ячних [ячмінних] та дві рибки; тільки що сього на стільки?
10 Jesus said—Make the people recline. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men reclined, to the number of about five thousand.
Рече ж Ісус: Заставте людей сїдати. Була ж трава велика на тому місці. Посідали ж чоловіки, числом тисяч з пять.
11 Jesus therefore took the loaves, and, giving thanks, went on distributing unto them that reclined; in like manner, of the small fishes also: as much as they were wishing.
Прийнявши ж хлїби Ісус, і оддавши хвалу, подав ученикам, ученики ж сидячим; так само й риби, скільки хотіли.
12 And, when they were well-filled, he saith unto his disciples—Gather up the broken pieces left over, that nothing be lost.
Як же наситились, рече ученикам своїм: Позбирайте останки окрушин, щоб не пропало нїщо.
13 So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets, with broken pieces out of the five barley loaves, —which were left over by them who had eaten.
Зібрали ж і наповнили дванайцять кошів окрушин із пяти хлїбів ячних, що зосталось у тих, що їли.
14 The people, therefore, seeing what signs he wrought, began to say—This, is, of a truth, the prophet who was to come into the world.
Люде ж, бачивши, яку ознаку зробив Ісус, сказали, що се справді пророк, грядущий на сьвіт.
15 Jesus, therefore, getting to know that they were about to come, and seize him, that they might make him king, retired again into the mountain, himself, alone.
Як же постеріг Ісус, що хочуть прийти та схопити Його, щоб зробити Його царем, то пійшов ізнов на гору сам один.
16 But, when evening came, his disciples went down unto the sea;
Як же настав вечір, пійшли ученики Його над море,
17 and, entering into a boat, were going across the sea into Capernaum. And, dark, already, had it become, and, not yet, had Jesus reached them;
і, ввійшовши в човен, плили на той бік моря у Капернаум. І вже стемнїло, й не приходив до них Ісус.
18 moreover the sea, by reason of a great wind that blew, was rising high.
А море, од великого вітру, що пурхав, піднялось.
19 Having therefore rowed about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they observe Jesus, walking upon the sea, and, near the boat, coming; and they were affrighted.
Одпливши ж гоней на двайцять і пять або трийцять, бачять, що Ісус ходить по морю, і до човна наближують ся, і полякались.
20 But, he, saith unto them—It is, I: be not affrighted!
Він же рече їм: Се я; не лякайтесь.
21 They were willing, therefore, to receive him into the boat; and, straightway, the boat was at land, whither they had been slowly going.
Тодї радо прийняли Його в човен, і зараз човен опинивсь коло землї, куди вони прямували.
22 On the morrow, the multitude that was standing on the other side of the sea, saw that there was not, another small-boat, there, save one, —and that Jesus entered not, along with his disciples, unto the boat, but that, alone, his disciples departed: —
Назавтра народ, стоячий по тім боці моря, побачивши, що иншого човна не було там, тільки один той, у котрий ввійшли ученики Його, й що не ввійшов з учениками сво'їми Ісус у човен, а що самі ученики Його відчалили,
23 howbeit there came boats out of Tiberias, near the place where they did eat the bread, after the Lord had given thanks: —
инші ж човни поприходили з Тиверияди поблизу місця, де їли хліб, як хвалу оддав Господь;
24 When, therefore, the multitude saw, that, Jesus, was not there, nor yet his disciples, they themselves, got into the small boats, and came unto Capernaum, seeking Jesus;
побачивши ж оце люде, що Ісуса там нема, анї учеників Його, ввійшли і вони в човни, та й прибули в Капернаум, шукаючи Ісуса.
25 and, finding him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him—Rabbi! when, camest thou, hither?
І, знайшовши Його на тім боцї моря, сказали Йому: Рави, коли прибув єси сюда?
26 Jesus answered them, and said—Verily, verily, I say unto you: Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye did eat of the loaves and were filled.
Відказав Їм Ісус і рече: Істино, істино глаголю вам: Шукаєте мене не тому, що бачили ознаки, а що їли хлїб, та й наситились.
27 Be working, not for the food that perisheth, but for the food that endureth unto life age-abiding, —which, the Son of Man, unto you, will give; for upon, the same, hath the Father, even God, set his seal. (aiōnios g166)
Трудіть ся не для їжи погибаючої, а для їжи, що зостаєть ся в вічне життє, котру Син чоловічий вам дасть; Сього бо Отець ствердив, Бог. (aiōnios g166)
28 They said, therefore, unto him—What are we to do, that we may be working the works of God?
Казали ж до Него: Що нам робити, щоб чинити діла Божі?
29 Jesus answered, and said unto them—This, is the work of God: that ye believe on him whom, he, hath sent forth.
Відказав Ісус і рече їм: Се єсть дїло Боже, щоб вірувати в Того, кого післав Він.
30 They said, therefore, unto him—What, then, art, thou, doing, by way of sign, that we may see, and believe in thee: what art thou working?
Казали ж Йому: Що ж робиш Ти за ознаку, щоб виділи ми, та й вірували Тобі? Що чиниш?
31 Our fathers, did eat, the manna, in the desert, —just as it is written: Bread out of heaven, he gave them to eat.
Батьки наші манну їли в пустинї, як писано: Хлїб з неба дав їм їсти.
32 Jesus said unto them—Verily, verily, I say unto you: Not Moses, gave you the bread out of heaven; but, my Father, giveth you the real bread out of heaven.
Рече ж їм Ісус: Істино, істино глаголю вам: Не Мойсей дав вам хлїб з неба, а Отець мій дає вам хлїб з неба правдивий.
33 For, the bread of God, is that which is coming down out of heaven, and giving, life, unto the world.
Бо хлїб Божий той, що сходить з неба, і життє дає сьвітові.
34 They said, therefore, unto him—Sir! Evermore, give us this bread.
Казали ж до Него: Господи, всякого часу давай нам хлїб сей.
35 Jesus said unto them—I, am the bread of life: he that cometh unto me, in nowise shall hunger, and, he that believeth on me, in nowise shall thirst, any more.
Рече ж їм Ісус: Я хлїб життя, хто приходить до мене, не голодувати ме, і хто вірує в мене, не жаждувати ме нїколи.
36 But I told you—Ye have even seen [me], and yet do not believe.
Тільки глаголю вам, що й видїли мене, та й не віруєте.
37 All that which the Father is giving me, unto me, will have come, and, him that cometh unto me, in nowise will I cast out, —
Усе, що дає менї Отець, до мене прийде; а хто приходить до мене, не вижену геть.
38 Because I have come down from heaven, —Not that I should be doing my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Бо зійшов я з неба, не щоб чинити волю мою, а волю Пославшого мене.
39 And, this, is the will of him that sent me, That, of all that which he hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
Се ж воля пославшого мене Отця, щоб з усього, що дав менї, не погубив я нічого, а воскресив його останнього дня.
40 For, this, is the will of my Father, That, every one that vieweth the Son, and believeth on him, should have life age-abiding, and, I, should raise him up, at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
Се ж воля пославшого мене, щоб кожен, хто видить Сина й вірує в Него, мав житте вічне, і я воскрешу його останнього дня. (aiōnios g166)
41 The Jews, therefore, began to murmur concerning him, because he said—I, am the bread that came down out of heaven;
Миркали [відказували] тодї Жиди про Него, що сказав: Я хлїб, що зійшов з небес;
42 and were saying—Is not, this, Jesus, the son of Joseph, —of whom, we, know the father and the mother! How is it then, that he, now, saith: Out of heaven, have I come down?
і казали: Хиба се не Ісус, син Йосифів, котрого знаємо ми батька й Матїр? Як же Він каже: Що з неба зійшов я?
43 Jesus answered, and said unto them—Be not murmuring, one with another:
Озвав ся ж Ісус і рече їм: Не миркайте між собою.
44 No one, can come unto me, except, the Father who sent me, draw him, —and, I, will raise him up, in the last day.
Нїхто не може прийти до мене, коли Отець, пославший мене, не притягне його, й я воскрешу його останнього дня.
45 It is written in the prophets, —And they shall be, all, the instructed of God: Every one who hath heard of the Father, and learned, cometh unto me.
Написано в пророків: І будуть усї навчені від Бога. Тим кожен, хто чув од Отця і навчивсь, приходить до мене.
46 Not that any one hath seen, the Father, save he who is from God, —this one, hath seen the Father.
Не то, щоб Отця хто видїв, тільки Той, хто від Бога, Той видїв Отця.
Істино, істино глаголю вам: Хто вірує в мене, має життє вічне. (aiōnios g166)
48 I am the bread of life: —
Я хлїб життя.
49 Your fathers, did eat, in the desert, the manna, —and died:
Батьки ваші їли манну в пустинї, та й повмирали.
50 This, is the bread which, out of heaven, cometh down, that one, thereof, may eat, —and not die.
Се хлїб, що з неба сходить, щоб, хто їсть Його, не вмер.
51 I, am the living bread, which, out of heaven, came down: If one eat of this bread, he shall live unto times age-abiding; and, the bread, moreover, which, I, will give, is, my flesh—for the world’s life. (aiōn g165)
Я хлїб живий, що з неба зійшов. Коли хто їсть сей хлїб, жити ме по вік; а хлїб, що я дам, се тіло моє, що я дам за життє сьвіту. (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews, therefore, began to strive one with another, saying—How can this one, unto us, give his flesh to eat?
Змагались тодї між собою, говорячи: Як може Він дати нам тіло їсти?
53 Jesus, therefore, said unto them—Verily, verily, I say unto you—Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink his blood, ye have not life within yourselves.
Рече ж їм Ісус: Істино, істино глаголю вам: Як не їсте тіла Сина чоловічого й не пєте Його крові, не маєте життя в собі.
54 He that feedeth upon my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath life age-abiding, and, I, will raise him up at the last day; (aiōnios g166)
Хто їсть тіло моє і пє мою кров, має життє вічне, і я воскрешу його останнього дня. (aiōnios g166)
55 For, my flesh, is, true, food, and, my blood, is, true, drink:
Тїло моє справді єсть їжа, а кров моя справді єсть напиток.
56 He that feedeth upon my flesh, and drinketh my blood, in me, abideth, and, I, in him.
Хто їсть тїло моє і пє кров мою, в менї пробуває, а я в йому.
57 Just as the living Father sent me, —and I live by reason of the Father, he also that feedeth upon me, even he, shall live by reason of me.
Як післав мене живий Отець, і я живу Отцем, так і хто їсть мене, й той жити ме мною.
58 This, is the bread, which, out of heaven, came down: —Not just as your fathers did eat—and died! He that feedeth upon this bread, shall live unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
Се хлїб, що з неба зійшов. Не як батьки ваші їли манну та й повмирали; хто їсть сей хлїб, жити ме по вік. (aiōn g165)
59 These things, said he, as, in a synagogue, he was teaching, in Capernaum.
Се Він глаголав у школі, навчаючи в Капернаумі.
60 Many, of his disciples, therefore, when they heard, said—Hard, is this discourse, —Who can, thereunto, hearken?
Многі ж слухавши з учеників Його казали: Жорстоке се слово; хто може його слухати?
61 But Jesus, knowing within himself that his disciples were murmuring concerning this, said unto them—Doth, this, cause, you, to stumble?
Знаючи ж Ісус сам у собі, що миркають про Него ученики Його, рече їм: Се вас блазнить?
62 [What] then, if ye should view the Son of Man ascending where he was before? …
Що ж, коли побачите Сина чоловічого, як входить туди, де перше був?
63 The spirit, it is, that giveth life, —the flesh, profiteth, nothing: The declarations which, I, have spoken unto you, are, spirit, and, are, life.
Се дух, що оживлює; тіло не годить ся нї на що. Слова, що я глаголю вам, се дух і життє.
64 But there are some from among you, who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning, who they were that did not believe, and who it was would deliver him up; —
Тільки ж є такі між вами, що не вірують. Знав бо з почину Ісус, котрі не вірують, і хто зрадить Його.
65 and he went on to say—For this cause, have I said unto you: No one, can come unto me, except it have been given him, of the Father.
І рече: Тим глаголав вам, що ніхто не може прийти до мене, коли не буде дано йому від Отця мого.
66 Because of this, many from among his disciples, went away back, and, no longer, with him, were walking.
Після сього багато з учеників Його пійшли назад, і вже більш з Ним не ходили.
67 Jesus, therefore, said unto the twelve—Are, ye also, wishing to withdraw?
Рече ж Ісус дванайцятьом: Чи й ви хочете йти?
68 Simon Peter answered him—Lord! unto whom, shall we go? Declarations of life age-abiding, thou hast; (aiōnios g166)
Відказав тодї Йому Симон Петр: Господи, до кого йти нам? у Тебе слова життя вічнього, (aiōnios g166)
69 And, we, have believed, and come to know, —that, thou, art the Holy One of God.
і ми увірували й взнали, що Ти єси Христос, Син Бога живого.
70 Jesus answered them—Did not, I, make choice, of you, the twelve? And yet, from among you, one, is, an adversary.
Відказав їм Ісус: Хиба не я вас дванайцятьох вибрав? А один з вас диявол.
71 Now he was speaking of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot: for, the same, was about to deliver him up, —one of the twelve.
Говорив же про Юду Симонового Іскариота: сей бо мав Його зрадити, один з дванайцяти.
