John 4
1 When therefore the Lord knew, that the Pharisees had heard—Jesus, more disciples, is making and immersing, than John, —
Ուրեմն երբ Տէրը գիտցաւ թէ Փարիսեցիները լսեր են՝ թէ Յիսուս Յովհաննէսէ աւելի աշակերտներ կ՚ընէ ու կը մկրտէ,
2 although indeed, Jesus himself, was not immersing, but his disciples,
(թէպէտ՝ ո՛չ թէ Յիսուս ինք կը մկրտէր, հապա իր աշակերտները, )
3 he left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
թողուց Հրէաստանը եւ դարձեալ Գալիլեա գնաց.
4 Now he must needs pass through Samaria.
ու պէտք էր որ անցնէր Սամարիայի մէջէն:
5 He cometh, therefore, unto a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the parcel of ground which Jacob gave unto Joseph his son.
Ուստի եկաւ Սամարացիներուն մէկ քաղաքը՝ որ Սուքար կը կոչուէր, այն վայրին մօտ՝ որ Յակոբ տուաւ իր որդիին՝ Յովսէփի:
6 Now Jacob’s fountain was there. Jesus, therefore, having become toil-worn with the journey, was sitting thus, upon the fountain. It was about the sixth hour.
Հոն կար Յակոբի մէկ աղբիւրը. ուրեմն Յիսուս՝ ճամբորդութենէն յոգնած ըլլալով՝ նստաւ այդ աղբիւրին քով: Գրեթէ վեցերորդ ժամն՝՝ էր:
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus saith unto her—Give me to drink!
Սամարիայէն կին մը եկաւ ջուր քաշելու: Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Ինծի ջուր տուր՝ խմելու».
8 for, his disciples, had gone away into the city, that, food, they might buy.
(քանի որ իր աշակերտները քաղաքը գացեր էին՝ կերակուր գնելու համար: )
9 The Samaritan woman, therefore, saith unto him—How dost, thou, being, a Jew, ask to drink, of me, who am, a Samaritan woman? [for, Jews, have no dealings with Samaritans.]
Ուստի սամարացի կինը ըսաւ անոր. «Դուն՝ որ Հրեայ ես, ի՞նչպէս կ՚ուզես ջուր խմել ինձմէ՝ սամարացի կնոջմէ մը». որովհետեւ Հրեաները չեն հաղորդակցիր Սամարացիներուն հետ:
10 Jesus answered, and said unto her—If thou hadst known the free gift of God, and who it is that is saying unto thee, Give me to drink, thou, wouldst have asked him, and he would have given thee living water.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոր. «Եթէ դուն գիտնայիր Աստուծոյ պարգեւը, եւ թէ ո՛վ է ա՛ն՝ որ կ՚ըսէ քեզի. “Ինծի ջուր տուր խմելու”, դո՛ւն պիտի ուզէիր իրմէ, ու ինք կենարա՛ր ջուր պիտի տար քեզի»:
11 She saith unto him—Sir! not even a bucket, hast thou, —and, the well, is, deep: —Whence, then, hast thou the living water?
Կինը ըսաւ անոր. «Տէ՛ր, դուն ոչինչ ունիս՝ ջուր քաշելու համար, եւ այս հորը խորունկ է. ուրեմն ուրկէ՞ պիտի ունենաս այդ կենարար ջուրը:
12 Art, thou, greater than, our father Jacob, who gave us the well, —and, himself, out of it drank, and his sons, and his flocks?
Միթէ դուն աւելի՞ մեծ ես քան մեր հայրը՝ Յակոբ, որ տուաւ մեզի այս հորը, ու ասկէ խմեցին ինք, իր որդիները եւ իր անասունները»:
13 Jesus answered, and said unto her—Whosoever drinketh of this water, will thirst, again;
Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոր. «Ո՛վ որ խմէ այս ջուրէն՝ դարձեալ պիտի ծարաւնայ,
15 The woman saith unto him—Sir! give me this water, that I thirst not, neither be coming hither to draw.
Կինը ըսաւ անոր. «Տէ՛ր, տո՛ւր ինծի այդ ջուրը, որպէսզի չծարաւնամ, եւ հոս չգամ՝ ջուր քաշելու»:
16 He saith unto her—Go, call thy husband, and come hither!
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Գնա՛, կանչէ՛ ամուսինդ ու հո՛ս եկուր»:
17 The woman answered, and said [unto him]—I have no husband. Jesus saith unto her—Well, saidst thou, A husband, I have not;
Կինը պատասխանեց. «Ես ամուսին չունիմ»: Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Ճի՛շդ ըսիր. “Ամուսին չունիմ”,
18 for, five husbands, thou hast had, —and, now, he whom thou hast, is not thy, husband: This true thing, hast thou spoken.
որովհետեւ դուն հինգ ամուսին ունեցեր ես, եւ ա՛ն որ հիմա ունիս՝ ամուսինդ չէ. ճի՛շդ ըսիր ատիկա»:
19 The woman saith unto him—Sir! I perceive that, a prophet, art, thou: —
Կինը ըսաւ անոր. «Տէ՛ր, կը նշմարեմ թէ դուն մարգարէ մըն ես:
20 Our fathers, in this mountain, worshipped; and, ye, say, that, in Jerusalem, is the place, where, to worship, it behoveth.
Մեր հայրերը երկրպագեցին այս լերան վրայ. բայց դուք կ՚ըսէք թէ Երուսաղէմ է միակ տեղը՝ ուր պէտք է երկրպագել»:
21 Jesus saith unto her—Believe me, woman! There cometh an hour, when, neither in this mountain, nor yet in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Կի՛ն, հաւատա՛ ինծի, որ ժամը պիտի գայ, երբ ո՛չ այս լերան վրայ եւ ո՛չ Երուսաղէմի մէջ պիտի երկրպագէք Հօրը:
22 Ye, worship, that which ye know not; We, worship, that which we know; because, salvation, is, of the Jews.
Դուք կ՚երկրպագէք անո՛ր՝ որ չէք ճանչնար. մենք կ՚երկրպագենք անո՛ր՝ որ կը ճանչնանք. որովհետեւ փրկութիւնը Հրեաներէն է:
23 But there cometh an hour, and, now, is, —when, the real worshippers, shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for, even the Father, is seeking, such as these, as his worshippers.
Բայց ժամը պիտի գայ եւ հիմա ալ է, երբ ճշմարիտ երկրպագողները պիտի երկրպագեն Հօրը՝ հոգիով ու ճշմարտութեամբ, որովհետեւ Հայրն ալ կ՚ուզէ այդպիսինե՛ր՝ իրեն երկրպագելու համար:
24 God is, spirit; and, they that worship him, in spirit and truth, must needs worship.
Աստուած Հոգի է, եւ իրեն երկրպագողներն ալ պէտք է որ երկրպագեն հոգիով ու ճշմարտութեամբ»:
25 The woman saith unto him—I know that, Messiah, cometh, who is called Christ, —Whensoever, he, shall come, he will tell us, everything.
Կինը ըսաւ անոր. «Գիտեմ թէ Մեսիան պիտի գայ, (Քրիստոս կոչուածը.) երբ ինք գայ՝ պիտի հաղորդէ մեզի ամէն բան»:
26 Jesus saith unto her—I, that speak unto thee, am he.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Ես՝ որ քեզի հետ կը խօսիմ՝ ա՛ն եմ»:
27 And, hereupon, came his disciples, and they began to marvel, that, with a woman, he was talking. No one, however, said—What seekest thou? or—Why talkest thou with her?
Այդ ատեն իր աշակերտները եկան, ու զարմացան որ կը խօսակցէր այդ կնոջ հետ, բայց անոնցմէ ո՛չ մէկը ըսաւ. «Ի՞նչ կ՚ուզես», կամ. «Ի՞նչ կը խօսիս անոր հետ»:
28 The woman, therefore, left her water-vessel, and went away into the city, and saith unto the men—
Ուստի կինը թողուց իր սափորը եւ գնաց քաղաքը, ու ըսաւ քաղաքացիներուն.
29 Come! see a man, that told me all things that ever I did: Can, this, be, the Christ?
«Եկէ՛ք, տեսէ՛ք մարդ մը՝ որ ըսաւ ինծի ամէն ինչ որ գործեր եմ. արդեօք ա՞ն է Քրիստոսը»:
30 They came forth out of the city, and were coming unto him.
Անոնք ալ ելան քաղաքէն եւ կու գային անոր:
31 In the meantime, the disciples were requesting him, saying—Rabbi! eat.
Այդ միջոցին աշակերտները իրեն կը թախանձէին ու կ՚ըսէին. «Ռաբբի՛, կե՛ր»:
32 But, he, said unto them—I, have, food, to eat, of which, ye, know not.
Ան ալ ըսաւ անոնց. «Ես՝ ուտելու համար՝ ունի՛մ կերակուր մը, որ դուք չէք գիտեր»:
33 The disciples, therefore, began to say, one to another—Hath anyone brought him, to eat?
Ուրեմն աշակերտները կ՚ըսէին իրարու. «Արդեօք մէկը ուտելիք բերա՞ւ իրեն»:
34 Jesus saith unto them—My food, is, that I should do the will of him that sent me, and complete, his work.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոնց. «Իմ կերակուրս՝ գործադրել է զիս ղրկողին կամքը, եւ աւարտել անոր գործը:
35 Are, ye, not saying—Yet, a fourmonth, it is, and, the harvest, cometh? Lo! I say unto you—Lift up your eyes, and gaze at the fields, —that, white, are they unto, harvest. Already,
Դուք չէ՞ք ըսեր. “Տակաւին չորս ամիս կայ՝ որ հունձքի ատենը գայ”: Ահա՛ ես կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Բարձրացուցէ՛ք ձեր աչքերը եւ դիտեցէ՛ք արտե՛րը. արդէ՛ն ճերմկած ու հնձուելու պատրաստ են”:
36 he that reapeth, receiveth, a reward, and gathereth fruit unto life age-abiding; that, he that soweth, together may rejoice, with him that reapeth. (aiōnios g166)
Ա՛ն որ կը հնձէ՝ վարձք կը ստանայ, եւ պտուղ կը ժողվէ յաւիտենական կեանքի համար, որպէսզի սերմանողն ու հնձողը ուրախանան միասին: (aiōnios g166)
37 For, herein, doth the saying, hold good, —One, is the sower, and, another, is the reaper.
Որովհետեւ այս բանին մէջ ճշմարիտ է այն խօսքը. “Մէկը կը սերմանէ, եւ ուրի՛շ մը կը հնձէ”:
38 I, sent you forth, to be reaping that whereon, ye, have not toiled: Others, have toiled, and, ye, into their toil, have entered.
Ես ղրկեցի ձեզ հնձելու զայն՝ որուն համար չաշխատեցաք. ուրիշնե՛րը աշխատեցան, ու դո՛ւք մտաք անոնց աշխատանքին մէջ»:
39 And, out of that city, many, believed on him—of the Samaritans, —by reason of the word of the woman in bearing witness—He told me all things that ever I did.
Այդ քաղաքէն շատ Սամարացիներ հաւատացին իրեն՝ այդ կնոջ խօսքին համար, որ վկայեց. «Ի՛նչ որ գործեր էի՝ ամէ՛նը ըսաւ ինծի»:
40 When, therefore, the Samaritans came unto him, they went on to request him to abide with them; and he abode there two days.
Երբ Սամարացիները եկան իրեն, կը թախանձէին որ մնայ իրենց քով. ու մնաց հոն երկու օր:
41 And, many more, believed by reason of his discourse;
Շատե՛ր իրեն հաւատացին՝ իր խօսքին համար,
42 and, unto the woman, began to say—No longer, by reason of thy talk, do we believe; for, we ourselves, have heard, and know that, This One, is, in truth, the Saviour of the world.
եւ կ՚ըսէին կնոջ. «Ա՛լ կը հաւատանք՝ ո՛չ թէ քու խօսքիդ համար, այլ մենք իսկ լսեցինք, ու գիտենք թէ ա՛յս է ճշմարտապէս աշխարհի Փրկիչը՝ Քրիստոսը»:
43 But, after the two days, he went forth from thence, into Galilee.
Երկու օր ետք՝ մեկնեցաւ անկէ եւ գնաց Գալիլեա,
44 For, Jesus himself, bare witness, that, a prophet, in his own fatherland, hath not, honour.
որովհետեւ Յիսուս ինք վկայեց թէ “մարգարէ՛ մը պատիւ չ՚ունենար իր բնագաւառին մէջ”:
45 So, when he came into Galilee, the Galilaeans welcomed him, having seen, all things, whatsoever he had done in Jerusalem during the feast; for, they also, went unto the feast.
Ուրեմն երբ Գալիլեա հասաւ՝ Գալիլեացիները ընդունեցին զինք, քանի որ տեսած էին այն բոլոր հրաշքները, որ ինք ըրաւ տօնին ատենը՝ Երուսաղէմի մէջ. որովհետեւ իրենք ալ գացեր էին այդ տօնին:
46 So he came again into Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water, wine. And there was a certain courtier, whose son was sick, in Capernaum.
Յիսուս դարձեալ եկաւ Գալիլեայի Կանա քաղաքը, ուր ջուրը փոխած էր գինիի: Հոն պալատական մը կար, որուն որդին հիւանդ էր՝ Կափառնայումի մէջ:
47 The same, hearing that Jesus had come out of Judaea into Galilee, came away unto him, and began requesting him, that he would come down and heal his son; for he was on the point of dying.
Ասիկա՝ լսելով թէ Յիսուս Հրէաստանէն եկած է Գալիլեա, եկաւ անոր ու կը թախանձէր՝ որ իջնէ եւ բժշկէ իր որդին, որովհետեւ մեռնելու մօտ էր:
48 Jesus therefore said unto him—Except, signs and wonders, ye see, in nowise will ye believe.
Իսկ Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Եթէ նշաններ ու սքանչելիքներ չտեսնէք՝ բնա՛ւ պիտի չհաւատաք»:
49 The courtier saith unto him—Sir! come down, ere my child die!
Պալատականը ըսաւ անոր. «Տէ՛ր, իջի՛ր, քանի դեռ տղաս մեռած չէ»:
50 Jesus saith unto him—Be going thy way: thy son, liveth! And the man believed in the word which Jesus spake to him, and at once went his way.
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Գնա՛, որդիդ կ՚ապրի՛»: Մարդն ալ հաւատաց այն խօսքին՝ որ Յիսուս ըսաւ իրեն, ու գնաց:
51 And, when he was even now going down, his servants, met him, saying, that, his boy, was living.
Երբ արդէն կ՚իջնէր, իր ծառաները դիմաւորեցին զինք եւ լուր տուին՝ ըսելով. «Որդիդ ո՛ղջ է»:
52 So he enquired the hour, from them, when he began, to amend. They said, therefore, unto him—Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him.
Ուստի հարցափորձեց զանոնք թէ ո՛ր ժամուն սկսաւ լաւանալ: Ըսին իրեն. «Երէկ եօթներորդ ժամուն՝՝ տենդը թողուց զայն»:
53 So the father took note that it was, in that hour, wherein Jesus said unto him—Thy son, liveth! and he believed, he, and all his house.
Ուստի անոր հայրը գիտցաւ թէ ա՛յն ժամն էր՝ երբ Յիսուս ըսաւ իրեն. «Որդիդ կ՚ապրի՛», ու հաւատաց՝ ինք եւ իր ամբողջ տունը:
54 Now, this again, as, a second sign, Jesus did, after coming out of Judaea into Galilee.
Յիսուս դարձեալ ըրաւ այս երկրորդ նշանը՝ երբ Հրէաստանէն Գալիլեա եկաւ:
