< John 20 >

1 But, on the first day of the week, Mary the Magdalene, cometh early, while it is yet, dark, unto the tomb, —and beholdeth the stone, already taken away out of the tomb.
ⲁ̅⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ϯⲙⲁⲅⲇⲁⲗⲓⲛⲏ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛϣⲱⲣⲡ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉⲣⲉ ⳿ⲧⲭⲉⲙⲥ ⳿ⲙⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩⲟⲗϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
2 She runneth, therefore, and cometh unto Simon Peter, and unto the other disciple whom Jesus dearly loved, and saith unto them—They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him.
ⲃ̅ⲁⲥϭⲟϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲱⲗⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛϭ̅ ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⲑⲱⲛ.
3 Peter, therefore, went out, and the other disciple, —and they were going unto the tomb;
ⲅ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
4 and the two were running together, and, the other disciple, outran Peter, and came first unto the tomb;
ⲇ̅ⲛⲁⲩϭⲟϫⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲃ̅ ϩⲓⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁϥϭⲟϫⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
5 and, stooping aside, beholdeth, lying, the linen-bandages, nevertheless, he entered not.
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲙⲉⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ.
6 So Simon Peter also cometh, following him, and entered into the tomb, and vieweth the linen-bandages lying, —
ⲋ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ.
7 and the napkin, which was upon his head, not, with the linen-bandages, lying, but apart, folded up into one place.
ⲍ̅ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲟⲩⲇⲁⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲁⲫⲉ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲱⲥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϥⲕⲟⲩⲗⲱⲗ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲥⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ.
8 Then, entered, therefore, the other disciple also, who had come first unto the tomb, and he saw and believed.
ⲏ̅ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲁϥⲛⲁϩϯ.
9 For, not yet, knew they the Scripture, that he must needs, from among the dead, arise.
ⲑ̅ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲟⲩⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲅⲣⲁⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ϩⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
10 The disciples, therefore, departed again, by themselves.
ⲓ̅ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ.
11 Howbeit, Mary, remained standing against the tomb, outside, weeping. So then, as she wept, she stooped aside into the tomb,
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ ⲉⲥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ϩⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲥϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓ⳿ⲙϩⲁⲩ.
12 and beholdeth two messengers, in white garments, sitting, one at the head, and the other at the feet, where had been lying the body of Jesus.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϭⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲃϣ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϧⲁϫⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
13 And, they, say unto her—Woman! why weepest thou? She saith unto them—They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁϧⲟ ⲧⲉⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲱⲗⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁ⳪ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲭⲁϥ ⲑⲱⲛ.
14 These things saying, she turned round, and seeth Jesus standing, and knew not that it was, Jesus.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲥϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲥⲫⲟⲛϩⲥ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲥ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉ.
15 Jesus saith unto her—Woman! why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? She, supposing he was, the gardener, saith unto him—Sir! If, thou, hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him; and, I, will take him away.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲣⲓⲙⲓ ⲁⲣⲉⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲓⲙ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲥⲙⲉⲩⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϭⲙⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϭⲱⲙ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲁⲕϥⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲓ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲭⲁϥ ⲑⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲟⲗϥ.
16 Jesus saith unto her—Mary! She, turning saith unto him, in Hebrew—Rabboni! which meaneth, Teacher.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁⲙ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲥⲫⲟⲛϩⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧϩⲉⲃⲣⲉⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲣⲁⲃⲃⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ.
17 Jesus saith unto her—Be not detaining me, for, not yet, have I ascended unto the Father; but be going unto my disciples, and say unto them—I am ascending unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁϯϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ϩⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲙⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲁ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ϩⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ.
18 Mary the Magdalene cometh, bringing tidings unto the disciples—I have seen the Lord! and that these things he had said unto her.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲁ ϯⲙⲁⲅⲇⲁⲗⲓⲛⲏ ⲁⲥⲧⲁⲙⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲠ⳪ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ.
19 It being late, therefore, on that day, the first of the week, —and, the doors, having been made fast where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came, and stood in the midst, and saith unto them—Peace be unto you!
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲉ ⲣⲟⲩϩⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲟⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ ⲑⲟⲩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲧϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲏϯ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
20 and, this, saying he pointed out both his hands and his side unto them. The disciples, therefore, rejoiced, seeing the Lord.
ⲕ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϥ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲫⲓⲣ ⲁⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲠ⳪.
21 Jesus, therefore, said unto them, again, —Peace be unto you! Just as, my Father, sent me forth, I, also, send you.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏ ⲛⲏ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲁⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
22 And, this, saying, he breathed strongly, and saith unto them—Receive ye Holy Spirit: —
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϥ ⲁϥⲛⲓϥⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϭⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
23 Whosesoever sins ye shall remit, they are remitted unto them, whosesoever ye shall retain, they are retained.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲭⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲥⲉⲭⲏ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲧⲁϩⲛⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲧⲁϩⲛⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
24 But, Thomas, one of the twelve, the one called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲇⲓⲇⲩⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
25 The other disciples, therefore, were saying unto him—We have seen the Lord! But, he, said unto them—Except I see, in his hands, the print of the nails, and press my finger into the print of the nails, and press my hand into his side, in nowise will I believe.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲠ⳪ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲓϥⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲏ ⲃ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲧⲩⲡⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲓϥⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲫⲓⲣ ⳿ⲛϯⲛⲁⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁⲛ.
26 And, eight days after, his disciples again were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh—the doors having been made fast—and stood in the midst, and said—Peace be unto you!
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲏ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲩⲑⲟⲩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲟⲧⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲏϯ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
27 Then, saith he unto Thomas—Reach thy finger hither, and see my hands, and reach thy hand, and press into my side, —and become not disbelieving, but believing.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲓⲧⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲁ ⲡⲉⲕⲧⲏ ⲃ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲙⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϫⲓϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓⲥ ⲧⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ϩⲓⲧⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁ⳿ⲥⲫⲓⲣ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ.
28 Thomas answered, and said unto him—My Lord, and my God!
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁⲛⲟⲩϯ.
29 Jesus saith unto him—Because thou hast seen me, hast thou believed? Happy, they who have not seen, and yet have believed!
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲕⲛⲁϩϯ ⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲛⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲛⲁϩϯ.
30 Many other signs, doubtless, did Jesus, in presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
ⲗ̅ⲕⲉⲙⲏϣ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉ⳿ⲥϧⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓϫⲱⲙ.
31 but, these, are written, that ye may believe that, Jesus, is, the Christ, the Son of God; and that, believing, ye may have life in his name.
