Job 4
1 Then responded Eliphaz the Temanite, and said: —
১তেতিয়া তৈমনীয়া ইলীফজে উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,
2 If one attempt a word unto thee, wilt thou be impatient? But, to restrain speech, who, can endure?
২কোনোৱে তোমাৰ লগত কথা ক’বলৈ আগবাঢ়িলে, তুমি বেজাৰ পাবা নে? কিন্তু কথা নোকোৱাকৈ কোনে থাকিব পাৰে?
3 Lo! thou hast admonished many, and, slack hands, hast thou been wont to uphold:
৩চোৱা, তুমি অনেকক শিক্ষা দিছিলা, দুৰ্ব্বল হাতক সবল কৰিছিলা;
4 Him that was stumbling, have thy words raised up, and, sinking knees, hast thou strengthened.
৪তোমাৰ বাক্যই উজুটি খাই পৰিব খোজালোককো ধৰি ৰাখিছিল, আৰু তুমি দুৰ্ব্বল আঁঠুক সবল কৰি ৰাখিছিলা।
5 But, now, it cometh upon thee, and thou despairest, It smiteth even thee, and thou art dismayed.
৫কিন্তু এতিয়া তোমালৈ এনে হোৱাত তুমি বেজাৰ পাইছা, আৰু সেয়ে তোমাক স্পৰ্শ কৰাত তুমি ব্যাকুল হৈছা।
6 Is not, thy reverence, thy confidence? And is not, thy hope, the very integrity of thy ways?
৬ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰতি থকা ভয়েই জানো তোমাৰ বিশ্বাসভূমি নহয়? আৰু তোমাৰ আচৰণৰ সিদ্ধতাত জানো তোমাৰ আশা নাই?
7 Remember, I pray thee, who, being innocent, hath perished, or when, the upright, have been cut off.
৭ভাবি চোৱাচোন, নিৰ্দ্দোষী হৈ কোনে কেতিয়া বিনষ্ট হৈছিল? আৰু সৰল আচৰণ কৰা সকলৰ ক’ত সংহাৰ হৈছিল?
8 So far as I have seen, They who plow for iniquity and sow misery, reap the same:
৮মই দেখাত হ’লে, যিসকলে অধৰ্মৰ খেতি কৰে, আৰু ক্লেশৰূপ কঠিয়া সিচে, সিহঁতে সেইৰূপ শস্য দায়;
9 By the blast of GOD, they perish, And, by the breath of his nostrils, are they consumed:
৯ঈশ্বৰৰ নিশ্বাসৰ দ্বাৰাই সিহঁত বিনষ্ট হয়, আৰু তেওঁৰ কোপৰূপ প্ৰশ্বাসৰ দ্বাৰাই সংহাৰ হয়।
10 [Notwithstanding] the roaring of the lion, and the noise of the howling lion, yet, the teeth of the fierce lions, are broken:
১০সিংহৰ গৰ্জ্জন আৰু মৃগৰাজৰ গোঁজৰণি বন্ধ কৰা হয়, আৰু ডেকা সিংহবোৰৰ দাঁত ভঙা হয়।
11 The strong lion perishing for lack of prey, Even the whelps of the lioness, are scattered.
১১আহাৰৰ অভাৱত পশুৰাজে প্ৰাণত্যাগ কৰে; সিংহিনীৰ পোৱালিবোৰ ঠান-বান হয়।
12 But, unto me, something was brought by stealth, —and mine ear caught a whispering of the same:
১২এটা কথা মোলৈ গুপ্তৰূপে আহিল; মোৰ কাণত তাৰ ফুচফুচনি পৰিল।
13 When there were thoughts, from visions of the night, —When deep sleep falleth upon men,
১৩ৰাতি সপোন দেখোতে যেতিয়া ভাবনা আহে, যেতিয়া সকলো মানুহ ঘোৰ নিদ্ৰা যায়,
14 Dread, came upon me, and trembling, The multitude of my bones, it put in dread:
১৪তেতিয়া মোলৈ ভয় আৰু কম্পন আহিল; সেয়ে মোৰ হাড়বোৰ জোকাৰ খুৱালে।
15 Then, a spirit, over my face, floated along, The hair of my flesh bristled-up:
১৫যেতিয়া মোৰ আগেদি এক ছাঁ পাৰ হৈ গ’ল; তেতিয়া মোৰ গাৰ নোমবোৰ সিয়ৰি উঠিল।
16 It stood still, but I could not distinguish its appearance, I looked, but there was no form before mine eyes, —A whispering voice, I heard: —
১৬সেয়ে ৰৈ থাকিল, কিন্তু মই তাৰ আকৃতি নিশ্চয় কৰিব নোৱাৰিলোঁ; এটা মূৰ্ত্তি মোৰ চকুৰ আগত আছিল; মই মৃদুস্বৰ আৰু এটা বাণী শুনিলোঁ।
17 Shall, mortal man, be more just than GOD? Or a man be more pure than, his Maker?
১৭“ঈশ্বৰৰ সাক্ষাতে মৰ্ত্য জানো ধাৰ্মিক হ’ব পাৰে? বা নিজ সৃষ্টিকৰ্ত্তাৰ সাক্ষাতে মনুষ্য জানো শুচি হ’ব পাৰে?
18 Lo! in his own servants, he trusteth not, and, his own messengers, he chargeth with error:
১৮চোৱা, ঈশ্বৰে নিজৰ দাসবোৰকো বিশ্বাস নকৰে, নিজ দূতবোৰৰো ক্রুটিৰ দোষ ধৰে;
19 How much more the dwellers in houses of clay, which, in the dust, have their foundation, which are crushed sooner than a moth:
১৯তেনেহলে যিসকলে মাটিৰ ঘৰত বাস কৰে, যিসকলৰ উৎপত্তি ধূলিত, যিসকল পোকৰ সম্মুখত চুৰ্ণীকৃত হয়, সেই সকলক তেওঁ আৰু কিমান অধিক ক্রুটিৰ দোষ ধৰিব!
20 Betwixt morning and evening, are they broken in pieces, With none to save, they utterly perish:
২০প্ৰভাত আৰু সন্ধিয়া কালৰ মাজত সিহঁতক গুড়ি কৰা যায়; সিহঁত কোনোৱে মন নিদিয়াকৈ চিৰকাললৈকে বিনষ্ট হৈ যায়।
21 Is not their tent-rope within them, torn away? They die, disrobed of wisdom!
২১সিহঁতৰ অন্তৰিক তম্বু-জৰী জানো সোলোকোৱা নাযায়? সিহঁত মৰে, এনে কি অজ্ঞান অৱস্থাতেই সিহঁত মৰে।”
