Job 35
1 Moreover Elihu, responded and said: —
১পাছত ইলীহুৱে আৰু উত্তৰ কৰি কলে,
2 This, dost thou think to be right? Thou hast said—My righteousness is more than GOD’S.
২“মোৰ কি উপকাৰ? বা মই পাপ কৰা লাভতকৈ মোৰ কি অধিক লাভ?
3 For thou dost say, How can one profit by thee? How can I benefit, more than by my sin?
৩এই বুলি যে তুমি কৈছা, ইয়াক তুমি ন্যায় বুলি ভাবিছা নে? বা ঈশ্বৰৰ ধাৰ্মিকতাকৈ মোৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা অধিক, এই বুলি কৈছানে?
4 I, will answer thee plainly, and thy friends with thee.
৪মই তোমাক আৰু তোমাৰ লগৰ তোমাৰ বন্ধুবিলাককো উত্তৰ দিওঁ,
5 Look at the heavens and see, —and survey the skies—they are higher than thou.
৫তুমি চকু তুলি আকাশৰ ফাললৈ চোৱা, তোমাতকৈ ওখত থকা গগণ-মণ্ডললৈ নিৰীক্ষণ কৰা।
6 If thou sinnest, what canst thou work against him? Or, if thy transgressions be multiplied, what canst thou do unto him?
৬তুমি পাপ কৰিলে, তেওঁৰ কি হানি কৰিব পাৰা? আৰু তোমাৰ অপৰাধ অধিক হলে তুমি তেওঁ কি কৰিবা?
7 If thou art righteous, what canst thou give unto him? Or what, at thy hand, can he accept?
৭তুমি ধাৰ্মিক হলে, তেওঁক কি দিব পাৰা? বা তেওঁ তোমাৰ হাতৰ পৰা কি গ্ৰহণ কৰিব?
8 Unto a man like thyself, might thy lawlessness [reach], and, unto a son of the earth-born, thy righteousness.
৮তোমাৰ দুষ্টতাই তোমাৰ নিচিনা মানুহৰহে হানি কৰিব পাৰে, আৰু তোমাৰ ধাৰ্মিকতা মনুষ্য সন্তানৰহে উপকাৰী হব পাৰে।
9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions, [men] make outcry, They cry for help, by reason of the arm of the mighty;
৯অধিক উপদ্ৰৱ পোৱাত লোকবিলাকে কাতৰোক্তি কৰে, আৰু বলৱান বিলাকৰ বাহুৰ কাৰণে উপকাৰ পাবলৈ চিঞঁৰে।
10 But none saith—Where is GOD my maker, Who giveth songs in the night;
১০যি জনাই ৰাতি গীত গোৱাই,
11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and, beyond the bird of the heavens, giveth us wisdom?
১১যি জনাই পৃথিবীৰ পশুবোৰতকৈ আমাক বেছিকৈ শিক্ষা দিছে, আৰু যি জনাই আমাক আকাশৰ চৰাই-চিৰিকটিতকৈ বেছি জ্ঞানী কৰিছে মোৰ সেই সৃষ্টিকৰ্ত্তা ঈশ্বৰ ক’ত? এই বুলি সিবিলাকৰ কোনেও নকয়।
12 There, [men] make outcry, and he answereth not, because of the arrogance of evil-doers.
১২তেতিয়া সিবিলাকে দুষ্টবোৰৰ অহঙ্কাৰৰ কাৰণে কাতৰোক্তি কৰে, কিন্তু তেওঁ উত্তৰ নিদিয়ে।
13 Howbeit, vanity, will GOD not hear, Yea, the Almighty, will not regard it.
১৩বাস্তৱিক ঈশ্বৰে অসাৰ কথা নুশুনে, আৰু সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান জনাই তাক নাচাবও।
14 How much less when thou sayest thou wilt not regard him! The cause, is before him, and thou must wait for him.
১৪তেন্তে তুমি তেওঁক নেদেখো বুলি কলে, তেওঁ জানো শুনিব, তোমাৰ গোচৰ তেওঁৰ আগত আছে, তুমি তেওঁলৈ বাট চাই থাকিবা।
15 But, now, because it is not so, [thou sayest] —His anger hath punished, and yet hath he not at all known of transgression;
১৫কিন্তু তেওঁ তেওঁৰ কোপত শাস্তি নিদিয়ে, আৰু তেওঁ অপৰাধলৈ বৰকৈ মন নিদিয়ে;
16 Thus, Job, vainly openeth his mouth, Without knowledge, he multiplieth words.
১৬এই নিমিত্তে ইয়োবে অসাৰ কথা কবলৈ মুখ মেলিছে, অনেক জ্ঞানশূন্য কথা কৈছে।
