< Job 33 >
1 But, in very deed, hear, I pray thee, Job, my discourse, and, to all my words, give thou ear.
Habase ahaatee, Ayuubow, waan ku baryayaaye, hadalkayga maqal, Oo erayadayda oo dhanna dhegta u dhig.
2 Lo! I pray thee, I have opened my mouth, My tongue, with my palate, hath spoken,
Bal eeg haatan, afkaygaan furay, Oo carrabkaygu wuxuu ku dhex hadlay afkayga.
3 Mine utterances come straight from mine own heart, and, what I know, my lips have truly spoken;
Erayadaydu waxay sheegi doonaan qummanaanta qalbigayga, Oo bushimahayguna wixii ay yaqaaniin si daacad ah ayay ugu hadli doonaan.
4 The spirit of GOD, hath made me, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth me life.
Waxaa i sameeyey Ruuxa Ilaah, Oo waxaa i noolaysa Ilaaha Qaadirka ah neeftiisa.
5 If thou art able to answer me, Set in order before me—take thy stand!
Haddaba haddaad kartid ii jawaab, Oo hortayda erayada si hagaagsan ugu sheeg oo istaag.
6 Lo! I am like thyself toward GOD, From clay, have I been nipped off, even I!
Bal eeg, aniguba xag Ilaah waxaan ahay sidaada oo kale; Oo anigana waxaa layga uumay dhoobo.
7 Lo! my terror, will not startle thee, nor, my hand, upon thee, be heavy.
Bal eeg, nixintaydu kuma cabsiin doonto, Oo gacantayduna kuguma cuslaan doonto.
8 But thou hast spoken in mine ears, and, the sound of words, I heard: —
Sida xaqiiqada ah dhegahaygaad ku hadashay, Waanan maqlay codkii erayadaada oo leh,
9 Pure am, I, without transgression, —Clean am, I, and have no iniquity;
Anigu nadiif baan ahay, oo xadgudubna ma lihi, Xaq ma qabo, oo xumaanuna iguma jirto innaba.
10 Lo! occasions of hostility, would he find against me, He counteth me an enemy to him;
Bal eeg, sabab uu igu eedeeyo ayuu iga helaa, Oo wuxuu igu tiriyaa inaan cadowgiisa ahay;
11 He putteth—in the stocks—my feet, He watcheth all my paths.
Cagahayga wuxuu geliyaa jeebbooyin, Oo jidadkayga oo dhanna wuu wada fiiriyaa.
12 Lo! in this, thou hast not been right—let me answer thee, For, GOD, is greater than, man.
Bal eeg, waan kuu jawaabi doonaa, haddaba waxan xaq kuma tihid, Waayo, Ilaah baa binu-aadmiga ka sii weyn.
13 Wherefore, against him, hast thou contended? For, with none of his reasons, will he respond.
Haddaba maxaad isaga ula asaraartantaa? Waayo, isagu axwaalkiisa midnaba jawaab kama baxsho.
14 For, in one way, GOD may speak, —and, in a second way, one may not heed it: —
Waayo, Ilaah wuxuu hadlaa mar, Ama laba jeer, in kastoo aan laga fiirsanayn.
15 In a dream, a vision of the night, when a deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed,
Riyada iyo muujinta habeennimo, Markii hurdo weynu dadka ku soo degto, Oo sariirta lagu gam'o,
16 Then, uncovereth he the ear of men, and, on their correction, affixeth a seal;
Markaasuu dhegaha binu-aadmiga furaa, Oo waxa iyaga lagu waaniyey ayuu xaqiijiyaa,
17 To turn a son of earth from his deed, while yet, pride, from man he concealeth:
Si uu dadka uga soo celiyo qasdigooda xun, Oo uu binu-aadmiga kibir uga qariyo,
18 He keepeth back his said from the pit, and his life from passing away by a weapon.
Oo naftiisana wuxuu dib uga hayaa yamayska, Oo noloshiisana wuxuu ka hayaa seefta.
19 Or he is chastised with pain, upon his bed, and, the strife of his bones, is unceasing!
Oo weliba waxaa sariirtiisa lagu kor edbiyaa xanuun, Iyo dagaal joogto ah oo lafihiisa ku dhex jira.
20 So that his life maketh loathsome [his] food, and his soul, dainty meat;
Sidaas daraaddeed nafsaddiisu kibista way karahsataa, Naftiisuna cuntada macaan way nacdaa.
21 His flesh wasteth away out of sight, and bared are the bones once unseen;
Hilibkiisu waa ka mudhuxsan yahay, oo mar dambe lama arki karo; Oo lafihiisii aan la arki jirinuna way soo baxaan.
22 So doth his soul draw near to the pit, and his life to the inflicters of death:
Hubaal naftiisu waxay ku dhow dahay yamayska, Oo noloshiisuna waxay ku dhow dahay kuwii baabbi'in lahaa.
23 If there hath been near him a messenger who could interpret—one of a thousand, to declare to the son of earth His uprightness,
Hadday la joogi lahayd malaa'ig dhexdhexaadeye ah Oo ah mid kun ka mid ahu, Inay dadka tusto waxa ku qumman,
24 Then hath he shewed him favour, and said, Set him free from going down to the pit, I have found a price of redemption!
Markaas Ilaah baa u naxariista, oo wuxuu leeyahay, Yamayska uu ku sii dhacayo ka samatabbixi, Waayo, furasho baan helay.
25 His flesh hath been made fresher than a child’s, he hath returned to the days of his youth;
Hilibkiisu waa ka sii jilicsanaan doonaa kan ilmaha; Oo wuxuu ku noqdaa wakhtigii dhallinyaranimadiisa.
26 He made supplication unto GOD, who hath accepted him, and he hath beheld his face with a shout of triumph, Thus hath he given back to man his righteousness.
Isagu Ilaah buu baryaa, oo isna raalli buu ka noqdaa, Sidaas daraaddeed wejigiisa farxad buu ku arkaa; Oo wuxuu dadka u soo celiyaa xaqnimadiisa.
27 He sang before men, and said, I sinned, and, uprightness, I perverted, yet he requited me not;
Isagu dadka hortiisa buu ku gabyaa, oo wuxuu leeyahay, Waan dembaabay, oo waxaan qalloociyey wixii qummanaa, Oo taasuna layguma abaalgudin.
28 He hath ransomed my soul from passing away into the pit, —and, my life, in the light, shall have vision.
Isagu naftayduu ka soo furtay yamayskii ay ku dhacaysay, Oo noloshayduna iftiin bay arki doontaa.
29 Lo! a these things, doth GOD work, two ways, three, with a man;
Bal eeg, waxyaalahan oo dhan Ilaah baa binu-aadmiga ku sameeya, Laba ama saddex jeer,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to enlighten with the light of the living.
Si uu naftiisa yamayska uga soo celiyo, In isaga lagu iftiimiyo iftiinka kuwa nool.
31 Mark well, O Job, and hearken to me, Be silent, and, I, will speak:
Ayuubow, i maqal oo aniga i dhegayso: Adigu iska aamus, oo anna waan hadli doonaa.
32 If there is anything to say, reply to me, Speak, for I desire to justify thee;
Haddaad wax odhan lahayd, ii jawaab, Oo hadal, waayo, waxaan jeclahay inaan xaq kaa dhigo.
33 If not, do, thou, hearken unto me, Be silent, that I may teach thee wisdom.
Haddii kalese, bal i dhegayso: Iska aamus, oo anna xigmad baan ku bari doonaa.
