< Job 33 >

1 But, in very deed, hear, I pray thee, Job, my discourse, and, to all my words, give thou ear.
Kanefa, masìna ianao, ry Joba; mihainoa ny alahatro, ary mandrenesa ny teniko rehetra.
2 Lo! I pray thee, I have opened my mouth, My tongue, with my palate, hath spoken,
Indro, fa efa niloa-bava aho, Miteny ato am-bavako ny lelako.
3 Mine utterances come straight from mine own heart, and, what I know, my lips have truly spoken;
Ny hitsim-poko no hiseho amin’ ny teniko; Ary ny fahalalan’ ny molotro no holazaina tsy hasiana fitaka.
4 The spirit of GOD, hath made me, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth me life.
Ny Fanahin’ Andriamanitra no efa nanao ahy, ary ny fofonain’ ny Tsitoha no mamelona ahy.
5 If thou art able to answer me, Set in order before me—take thy stand!
Raha hainao, valio ary aho, miomàna ianao, ka miatreha tsara.
6 Lo! I am like thyself toward GOD, From clay, have I been nipped off, even I!
Indro, izaho koa mba an’ Andriamanitra: tahaka anao ihany; Eny, izaho koa mba nosombinana avy tamin’ ny tanimanga.
7 Lo! my terror, will not startle thee, nor, my hand, upon thee, be heavy.
Indro, ny fampahatahorako tsy dia hampahatahotra anao, ary ny vesatra avy amiko tsy dia hitambesatra aminao.
8 But thou hast spoken in mine ears, and, the sound of words, I heard: —
Efa nilaza teo anatrehako mihitsy ianao, ary efa reko ihany ny feon’ ny teninao hoe:
9 Pure am, I, without transgression, —Clean am, I, and have no iniquity;
Madio tsy manam-pahadisoana aho, ary tsy manan-tsiny aman-keloka;
10 Lo! occasions of hostility, would he find against me, He counteth me an enemy to him;
He! mitady izay handrafiany ahy Andriamanitra, ary ataony fahavalony aho;
11 He putteth—in the stocks—my feet, He watcheth all my paths.
Mampiditra ny tongotro eo amin’ ny boloky hazo Izy ary mitsikilo ny diako rehetra.
12 Lo! in this, thou hast not been right—let me answer thee, For, GOD, is greater than, man.
He! izany no tsy mahamarina anao, hoy izaho; Fa Andriamanitra dia lehibe loatra ka tsy leon’ ny zanak’ olombelona.
13 Wherefore, against him, hast thou contended? For, with none of his reasons, will he respond.
Koa nahoana no manome tsiny Azy ianao noho ny tsy nampisehoany izay antony amin’ ny ataony?
14 For, in one way, GOD may speak, —and, in a second way, one may not heed it: —
Kanefa misy fanao iray itenenan’ Andriamanitra, eny, fanao roa aza, nefa tsy tandreman’ ny olona izany,
15 In a dream, a vision of the night, when a deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed,
Dia ny nofy sy ny tsindrimandry amin’ ny alina, raha sondrian-tory ny olona ka renoka eo am-pandriana,
16 Then, uncovereth he the ear of men, and, on their correction, affixeth a seal;
Dia manokatra ny sofin’ ny olona Izy ka manisy tombo-kase ny fananarany azy,
17 To turn a son of earth from his deed, while yet, pride, from man he concealeth:
Mba hampiala ny olona amin’ ny fanaony, sy hampifady azy ny fireharehana.
18 He keepeth back his said from the pit, and his life from passing away by a weapon.
Miaro ny fanahiny tsy ho any an-davaka Izy, ary ny ainy mba tsy ho voan’ ny fiadiana.
19 Or he is chastised with pain, upon his bed, and, the strife of his bones, is unceasing!
Anarina amin’ ny fanaintainana eo am-pandriany koa izy sy amin’ ny fikotrankotran’ ny taolany lalandava;
20 So that his life maketh loathsome [his] food, and his soul, dainty meat;
Ary ny ainy marikorikon-kanina, eny, na dia ny hanim-py aza tsy tian’ ny fanahiny.
21 His flesh wasteth away out of sight, and bared are the bones once unseen;
Mihena ny nofony ka tsy hita, ary mitranitrany ny taolany izay tsy hita teo;
22 So doth his soul draw near to the pit, and his life to the inflicters of death:
Dia manakaiky ny lavaka ny fanahiny, ary ny ainy manatona ny mpaka aina.
23 If there hath been near him a messenger who could interpret—one of a thousand, to declare to the son of earth His uprightness,
Raha misy Anjely ho Mpanalalana ho azy, iray amin’ ny arivo, hanoro izay tokony halehan’ ny olona,
24 Then hath he shewed him favour, and said, Set him free from going down to the pit, I have found a price of redemption!
Ary hamindra fo aminy ka nanao hoe: Vonjeo izy mba tsy hidina any an-davaka, fa efa nahita avotra Aho,
25 His flesh hath been made fresher than a child’s, he hath returned to the days of his youth;
Dia ho tsara noho ny an’ ny tanora ny nofony, hody ho toy ny tamin’ ny andro nahatanorany izy;
26 He made supplication unto GOD, who hath accepted him, and he hath beheld his face with a shout of triumph, Thus hath he given back to man his righteousness.
Hivavaka amin’ Andriamanitra izy ka hankasitrahany ary hahita ny havany amin’ ny hafaliana, fa hampodiny amin’ ny zanak’ olombelona ny fahamarinany.
27 He sang before men, and said, I sinned, and, uprightness, I perverted, yet he requited me not;
Dia hihira izy hilaza amin’ ny olona hoe: Efa nanota aho, fa nanao ny rariny ho heloka, kanefa tsy novaliana araka ny nataoko;
28 He hath ransomed my soul from passing away into the pit, —and, my life, in the light, shall have vision.
Fa navotany ny fanahiko mba tsy hivarina any an-davaka, ary mifaly ny aiko amin’ ny fahitana ny mazava.
29 Lo! a these things, doth GOD work, two ways, three, with a man;
Indro, izany rehetra izany no ataon’ Andriamanitra indroa amin’ ny olona, eny, intelo aza,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to enlighten with the light of the living.
Mba hamerina ny fanahiny tsy ho any an-davaka, mba hihazavany amin’ ny fahazavan’ aina.
31 Mark well, O Job, and hearken to me, Be silent, and, I, will speak:
Tandremo, ry Joba, ka mihainoa ahy; Mangìna kely aloha ianao, fa izaho mbola hiteny.
32 If there is anything to say, reply to me, Speak, for I desire to justify thee;
Raha manan-kavaly ianao, dia mamalia ahy ihany; Mitenena, fa ta-hanamarina anao aho;
33 If not, do, thou, hearken unto me, Be silent, that I may teach thee wisdom.
Fa raha tsy manan-kavaly ianao, dia mihainoa ahy kosa; Mangìna tsara, fa hampianariko fahendrena ianao.
