< Job 29 >
1 And Job again took up his measure, and said,
Dia mbola nandroso nanao oha-teny ihany Joba ka nanao hoe:
2 Oh that it were with me as in the months of old, as in the days, when, GOD, used to watch over me;
Enga anie ka ho tahaka ny tamin’ ireny volana lasa ireny aho! Dia tahaka ilay tamin’ ny andro niarovan’ Andriamanitra ahy!
3 When his lamp shone over my head, by whose light, I could go through darkness;
Fony mbola nazava teo ambonin’ ny lohako ny jirony, ary ny fahazavany no nandehanako tao amin’ ny maizina;
4 As I was, in the days of my prime, when, the intimacy of GOD, was over my tent;
Eny, tahaka ny toetro fony aho mbola fararano, raha niseho teo ambonin’ ny laiko ny fisakaizan’ Andriamanitra;
5 While yet the Almighty was with me, round about me, were my young men;
Fony mbola tao amiko ny Tsitoha, Ary nanodidina ahy ny zanako;
6 When my steps were bathed in milk, and, the rock, poured out beside me, rivulets of oil:
Fony mbola nanasa ny tongotro tamin’ ny rononomandry aho, ary ny vatolampy namoaka renirano diloilo teo amiko;
7 When I went out to the gate unto the city, in the open place, made ready my seat,
Raha niainga niakatra ho eo amin’ ny vavahadin’ ny tanàna aho ka nametraka ny fipetrahako teo an-kalalahana,
8 Young men saw me, and hid themselves, and, the aged, arose—they stood;
Dia nahita ahy ny zatovo ka niampirimpirina; Ary niainga ny fotsy volo, dia nijoro;
9 Rulers, restrained speech, and, a hand, laid they on their mouth;
Nangina tsy niteny ny lehibe ka nitampim-bava;
10 The voice of nobles, was hushed, and their tongue to their palate, did cleave;
Tsy sahy niteny ny mpanapaka, ary ny lelany niraikitra tamin’ ny lanilaniny.
11 When, the ear, heard, then it pronounced me happy, When, the eye, saw, then it bare me witness;
Izay sofina nandre dia nanao ahy hoe sambatra; Ary Izay maso nahita dia vavolombelona ho ahy,
12 Because I used to deliver the oppressed who was crying out for aid, the fatherless also, and him that had no helper;
Satria namonjy ny ory izay nitaraina aho sy ny kamboty izay tsy nanan-kamonjy.
13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish, upon me was wont to descend, and, the heart of the widow, caused I to sing for joy;
Ny fisaoran’ izay efa ho faty dia tonga tamiko; Ary ny fon’ ny mpitondratena nampifaliko.
14 Righteousness, I put on, and it clothed me, Like a robe and turban, was my, justice;
Nitafy fahamarinana aho, ka mba nitafy ahy kosa izy; Eny, tahaka ny lamba sy ny hamama ny rariny izay nananako.
15 Eyes, became I to the, blind, and, feet to the lame, was, I!
Efa maso ho an’ ny jamba aho ary tongotra ho an’ ny mandringa.
16 A father, was, I, to the needy, and, as for the cause which I knew not, I used to search it out;
Efa ray ho an’ ny malahelo aho, ary ny adin’ ny olona tsy fantatro aza nodinihiko.
17 And I shivered the fangs of the perverse, —and, out of his teeth, I tare the prey.
Namaky ny nifin’ ny ratsy fanahy aho ka nandrombaka ny babo teo am-bavany
18 Then said I, Like a stem, shall I grow old, yea, as the sand, shall I multiply days:
Dia hoy izaho: Eo amin’ ny akaniko ihany no hialako aina, ary hanamaro ny androko toy ny fasika aho.
19 My root, is laid open to the waters, and, the dew, shall lodge for the night in my boughs;
Ny fakako ho azon’ ny rano, ary ny ando hitoetra amin’ ny sampako mandritra ny alina.
20 Mine honour, shall be young again with me, and, my bow, in my hand, be renewed.
Ho vaovao amiko lalandava ny voninahitro, ary ny tsipikako hihahenjana eny an-tanako.
21 To me, men hearkened, and waited, and kept silence for my counsel;
Nihaino ahy ny olona, dia niandry, ka nangina tamin’ ny fanolorako saina izy.
22 After I had spoken, they spake not again, and, upon them, used my speech to drop;
Rehefa niteny aho, dia tsy mba namaly intsony izy; ary nitetevan’ ny teniko izy.
23 And they waited, as for rain, for me, and, their mouths, they opened wide for the spring-rain;
Niandry ahy toy ny fiandry ny ranonorana izy ary nitanatana vava toy ny fiandry ny fara-orana.
24 I laughed at them—they lost confidence, and, the light of my countenance, they suffered not to fail;
Raha nisy nila ho ketraka, dia mbola niseho miramirana taminy ihany ny tarehiko, ary tsy nahamaloka ny fahazavan’ ny tavako ireo.
25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, —and abode, as king, in an army, as one who, to mourners, giveth comfort.
Nifidy ny lalan-kalehany aho ka nipetraka ho lohany, eny, nitoetra toy ny mpanjaka teo amin’ ny miaramila sy toy ny mpampionona ny misaona aho.
