Job 26
1 Then responded Job, and said: —
Gióp đáp:
2 How hast thou given help to one of no-strength? given victory to an arm of no-power?
“Anh khéo bênh vực người cô thế! Cứu giúp người yếu đuối!
3 How hast thou given counsel to one of no-wisdom? or, effective wisdom, abundantly made known?
Khuyên bảo người dại dột! Đưa ra nhiều ý kiến khôn ngoan!
4 Whom hast thou taught speech? Whose inspiration hath come from thee?
Ai đã giúp anh nói những lời này? Thần linh nào phán bảo qua môi miệng anh?
5 The shades, tremble, beneath the waters and their inhabitants;
Người chết quằn quại đau thương— dưới nước sâu cũng như các sinh vật ở đó.
Trước mắt Đức Chúa Trời, âm phủ lộ nguyên hình. Tử thần không che khuất. (Sheol h7585)
7 Who stretcheth out the north over emptiness, hangeth the earth upon nothingness;
Đức Chúa Trời trải phương bắc của bầu trời trên không gian trống trải và treo địa cầu lơ lửng trong khoảng không.
8 Who bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent beneath them;
Chúa dồn chứa nước mưa trong các đám mây, nhưng mây không vỡ tan vì lượng nước nhiều.
9 Who shutteth-in the face of the throne, he spreadeth over it his cloud;
Chúa che phủ mặt trăng tròn, và trải mây ra trên đó.
10 A, boundary, hath he encircled on the face of the waters, as far as where light ends in darkness;
Chúa tạo dựng chân trời khi Ngài phân rẽ nước; làm ranh giới giữa ngày và đêm.
11 The pillars of the heavens, are shaken, and are terrified at his rebuke:
Cột trụ của các tầng trời run rẩy; sửng sốt khi Ngài quở trách.
12 By his strength, hath he excited the sea, and, by his skill, hath he shattered the Crocodile:
Quyền năng làm đại dương dậy sóng. Tri thức Ngài đánh gục Ra-háp.
13 By his spirit, hath he arched the heavens, His hand hath pierced the fleeing serpent.
Thần Linh Chúa điểm tô các tầng trời, bàn tay Ngài đâm thủng con rắn đang trốn chạy.
14 Lo! these, are the fringes of his way, and what a whisper of a word hath been heard of him! But, the thunder of his might, who could understand?
Đây mới là bắt đầu của tất cả việc Ngài làm, chỉ là tiếng thì thầm của năng quyền Ngài. Vậy thử hỏi ai hiểu được tiếng sấm của quyền năng Ngài?”
