< Job 25 >
1 Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —
Nígbà náà ní Bilidadi, ará Ṣuhi, dáhùn wí pé,
2 Dominion and dread, are with him, who causeth prosperity among his lofty ones;
“Ìjọba àti ẹ̀rù ń bẹ lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run rẹ̀, òun ní i ṣe ìlàjà ní ibi gíga gíga ọ̀run.
3 Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom ariseth not his light?
Àwọn ọmọ-ogun rẹ̀ ha ní ìyè bí, tàbí ara ta ni ìmọ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀ kò tàn sí?
4 How then shall, a mortal, be just with GOD? Or how shall he be pure who is born of a woman?
Èéha ti ṣe tí a ó fi dá ènìyàn láre lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run? Tàbí ẹni tí a bí láti inú obìnrin wá yóò ha ṣe mọ́?
5 Look as far as the moon, and it is not clear, and, the stars, are not bright in his eyes!
Kíyèsi i, òṣùpá kò sì lè tàn ìmọ́lẹ̀, àní àwọn ìràwọ̀ kò mọ́lẹ̀ ní ojú rẹ̀,
6 How much less a mortal who is a creeping thing? Or a son of the earth-born who is a worm?
kí a má sọ ènìyàn tí i ṣe ìdin, àti ọmọ ènìyàn tí í ṣe kòkòrò!”
