Job 25

1 Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —

Ndipo Bildadi Mshuhi akajibu:

2 Dominion and dread, are with him, who causeth prosperity among his lofty ones;

“Mamlaka na kuheshimiwa ni vyake Mungu; yeye huthibitisha amani katika mbingu juu.

3 Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom ariseth not his light?

Je, majeshi yake yaweza kuhesabika? Ni nani asiyeangaziwa na nuru yake?

4 How then shall, a mortal, be just with GOD? Or how shall he be pure who is born of a woman?

Mtu awezaje kuwa mwadilifu mbele za Mungu? Awezaje mtu aliyezaliwa na mwanamke kuwa safi?

5 Look as far as the moon, and it is not clear, and, the stars, are not bright in his eyes!

Ikiwa hata mwezi sio mwangavu nazo nyota si safi machoni pake,

6 How much less a mortal who is a creeping thing? Or a son of the earth-born who is a worm?

sembuse mtu ambaye ni funza: mwanadamu ambaye ni buu tu!”
