Job 19
1 Then responded Job, and said: —
तब अय्यूबले जवाफ दिए र भने,
2 How long will ye grieve my soul? or crush me with words?
“कहिलेसम्म तपाईंहरूले मलाई दुःख दिनुहुन्छ, र वचनले मलाई टुक्राटुक्रा पार्नुहुन्छ?
3 These ten times, have ye reviled me, Shameless ye wrong me.
यी दस पटक तपाईंहरूले मेरो अपमान गर्नुभएको छ । तपाईंहरूले मलाई कठोरतापूर्वक व्यवहार गरे पनि तपाईंहरू लाज मान्नुहुन्न ।
4 And even if indeed I have erred, with myself lodgeth mine error.
मैले गल्ती गरेको कुरा वास्तवमा साँचो हो भने, मेरो गल्ती मेरो आफ्नै सरोकारको कुरो हो ।
5 If indeed, against me, ye must needs magnify yourselves, and plead, against me, my reproach.
तपाईंहरूले आफूलाई मभन्दा माथि उचाल्नुहुन्छ, र मेरो तुच्छता मेरै विरुद्धमा प्रयोग गर्नुहुन्छ भने,
6 Know, then, that, God, hath overthrown me, and, within his net, enclosed me.
तब तपाईंहरूले जान्नुपर्छ, परमेश्वरले मेरो हानि गर्नुभएको र मलाई आफ्नो पासोमा पार्नुभएको छ।
7 Lo! I cry—out: Violence! but receive no answer, I cry aloud, but there is no vindication;
हेर्नुहोस्, “हिंसा” भनेर म कराउँछु, तर मैले जवाफ पाउँदिन । मदतको लागि म पुकार्छु, तर त्यहाँ निष्पक्ष व्यवहार हुँदैन ।
8 My way, hath he walled up, that I cannot pass, and, upon my paths, hath he made darkness rest;
मेरो बाटोमा उहाँले पर्खाल लगाउनुभएको छ, यसैले म जान सक्दिनँ, अनि उहाँले मेरो मार्गमा अन्धकार राख्नुभएको छ ।
9 My glory—from off me, hath he stripped, and hath removed the crown of my head;
उहाँले मेरो महिमा हटाउनुभएको छ, र उहाँले मेरो शिरको मुकुट हटाउनुभएको छ ।
10 He hath ruined me on every side, and I am gone, and he hath taken away—like a tree—my hope;
उहाँले मलाई चारैतिरबाट चूर पार्नुभएको छ, र लोप हुन्छ, उहाँले मेरो आशा रूखलाई झैं उखेल्नुभएको छ ।
11 Yea he hath kindled against me his anger, and accounted me towards him like unto his adversaries;
उहाँले मेरो विरुद्धमा आफ्नो क्रोध पनि दन्काउनुभएको छ । उहाँले मलाई आफ्ना शत्रुहरूमध्ये एक ठान्नुहुन्छ ।
12 Together, enter his troops and have cast up, against me, their mound, and have encamped all around my tent;
उहाँका फौजहरू सँगसँगै आउँछन् । तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा घेरा लगाउँछन्, र मेरो पालको चारैतिर छाउनी हाल्छन् ।
13 My Brethren—from beside me, hath he moved far away, and, mine acquaintance, are wholly estranged from me;
उहाँले मेरा दाजुभाइलाई मबाट टाढा राख्नुभएको छ । मैले चिनजानकाहरू मबाट बिलकुल अलग रहन्छन् ।
14 Failed me, have my near of kin, and, mine intimate acquaintances, have forgotten me;
मेरा आफन्तहरू मबाट पछि हटेका छन् । मेरो घनिष्ठ मित्रहरूले मलाई बिर्सेका छन् ।
15 Ye guests of my house and my maidens, A stranger, have ye accounted me, An alien, have I become in their eyes;
मेरो घरमा कुनै बेला पाहुना भएर रहेकाहरू र दासीहरूले मलाई बिरोनो ठान्छन् । तिनीहरूको दृष्टिमा म अनौठो भएको छु ।
16 To mine own servant, I called, and he would not answer, With mine own mouth, I kept entreating him;
म आफ्नो सेवकलाई बोलाउँछु, तर उसले मलाई जवाफ दिंदैन । मैले आफ्नै मुखले त्यसलाई बिन्ती गर्छु ।
17 My breath, is strange to my wife, and I am loathsome to the sons of my own mother;
मेरो सास मेरी पत्नीलाई दुर्गन्धित लाग्छ । मेरै आमाको गर्भबाट जन्मेकाहरूले पनि मलाई घृणा गर्छन् ।
18 Even young children, despise me, I rise up, and they speak against me;
सा-साना केटाकेटीले पनि मलाई तिरस्कार गर्छन् । म बोल्नलाई उठ्दा तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा बोल्छन् ।
19 All the men of mine intimate circle abhor me, and, these whom I loved, have turned against me;
मेरा सबै परिचित मित्रहरूले मलाई घृणा गर्छन् । मैले प्रेम गरेकाहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा लागेका छन् ।
20 Unto my skin and unto my flesh, have my bones cleaved, and I have escaped with the akin of my teeth.
मेरा हड्डीहरू मेरो छाला र मासुमा टाँसिन्छन् । म आफ्ना दाँतको छालाले मात्र बाँचेको छु ।
21 Pity me! pity me! ye, my friends, for, the hand of GOD, hath stricken me!
मलाई दया गर्नुहोस्, हे मेरा मित्रहरू हो, मलाई दया गर्नुहोस्, किनकि परमेश्वरको हातले मलाई छोएको छ ।
22 Wherefore should ye persecute me as GOD? and, with my flesh, should not he satisfied?
परमेश्वरले झैं तपाईंहरू किन मेरो खेदो गर्नुहुन्छ? मेरो शरीरले तपाईंहरूलाई कहिल्यै सन्तुष्ट पार्छ र?
23 Oh, then, that my words, could be written, Oh that, in a record, they could be inscribed:
ओहो, मेरो वचनहरू यति बेला लेखिए त! ओहो, ती एउटा पुस्तकमा लेखिए त!
24 That, with a stylus of iron and [with] lead, for all time—in the rock, they could be graven!
ओहो, फलामको कलम र छिनोले, सदाको लागि ती चट्टानमा खोपे त!
25 But, I, know that, my redeemer, liveth, and, as the Last over [my] dust, will he arise;
तर मेरो बारेमा, मेरा उद्धारक जिउँदो हुनुहुन्छ, र अन्त्यमा उहाँ पृथ्वीमा खडा रहनुहुनेछ ।
26 And, though, after my skin is struck off, this [followeth], yet, apart from my flesh, shall I see GOD:
मेरो शरीरको छाला, अर्थात् शरीर पूरै गलेपछि, मेरो शरीरमा नै म परमेश्वरलाई देख्नेछु ।
27 Whom, I myself, shall see, on my side, and, mine own eyes, [shall] have looked upon, and not those of a stranger. Exhausted are my deepest desires in my bosom!
मेरा आफ्नै आँखाले— अरू कसैको होइन म आफैंले उहाँलाई देख्नेछु । मेरो हृदय मभित्रै विह्वल बन्छ ।
28 Surely ye should say—Why should we persecute him? seeing, the root of the matter, is found in me.
तपाईंहरूले यसो भन्नुहुन्छ भने, 'हामी उसलाई कसरी सताउँ! उसको सङ्कष्टको जड ऊ आफै हो,'
29 Be ye afraid—on your part—of the face of the sword, because, wrath, [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, to the end ye may know the Almighty.
तब तरवारदेखि डराउनुहोस्, किनकि क्रोधले तरवारको दण्ड ल्याउँछ, यसरी न्याय हुन्छ भनी तपाईंहरूले जान्नुहुनेछ ।”
