Job 16
1 Then responded Job, and said: —
১তেতিয়া ইয়োবে পুনৰায় উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,
2 I have heard many such things, Wearisome comforters, are ye all!
২মই এইৰূপ অনেক কথা শুনিলো; তোমালোক সকলোৱেই দুখদায়ক শান্ত্বনাকাৰী।
3 Is there to be an end to windy words? Or what so strongly exciteth thee, that thou must respond?
৩বায়ুতুল্য কথাৰ জানো কেতিয়াবা শেষ হয়? বা উত্তৰ দিবলৈ তোমাক জানো উদগাইছে?
4 I also, like you, could speak, —If your soul were in the place of my soul, I could string together words against you, and could therewith shake over you my head.
৪ময়ো তোমালোকৰ দৰে উত্তৰ দিব পাৰোঁ; মোৰ প্ৰাণৰ সলনি যদি তোমালোকৰ প্ৰাণ হলেহেঁতেন, তেনেহলে মইও তোমালোকৰ অহিতে কথা সাজিব পাৰিলোহেঁতেন, আৰু তোমালোকক বিদ্রূপ কৰি মূৰ জোকাৰিব পাৰিলোহেঁতেন।
5 I could make you determined, by my mouth, and then my lip-solace should restrain you.
৫অস্ মই মুখেৰেহে তোমালোকক সবল কৰিলোহেঁতেন, আৰু মোৰ ওঠৰ শান্ত্বনাত তোমালোকৰ দুখৰ উপশমহে হলহেঁতেন।
6 Though I do speak, unassuaged is my stinging pain, —And, if I forbear, of what am I relieved?
৬মই কথা কলেও মোৰ ক্লেশৰ উপশম নহয়, আৰু নিমাতে থাকিলে কি মোৰ দুখ গুচিব?
7 But, now, hath he wearied me, thou hast destroyed all my family;
৭কিন্তু তেওঁ এতিয়া মোক ক্লান্ত কৰিলে; তুমি মোৰ গোটেই পৰিয়াল উচ্ছন্ন কৰিলা।
8 And, having captured me, it hath served, as a witness; and so my wasting away hath risen up against me, in my face, it answereth.
৮তুমি মোৰ শৰীৰ শীৰ্ণ কৰিলা, সেয়ে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে সাক্ষী হৈছে; মোৰ শৰীৰৰ দীনতাই মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিছে, আৰু এয়ে মোৰ অহিতে উঠি মোৰ সাক্ষাতে প্ৰমাণ দিছে।
9 His anger, hath torn and persecuted me, He hath gnashed upon me with his teeth, Mine adversary, hath sharpened his eyes for me.
৯তেওঁ ক্ৰোধত মোক বিদাৰিলে, আৰু তাড়নাও কৰিলে; তেওঁ মোলৈ দাঁত কৰচিলে; মোক চকুৰপানীয়ে পৃথক কৰে, মোৰ শত্রুৱে মোলৈ দৃঢ়ভাবে চাই থাকে;
10 They have gaped upon me with their mouth, With reproach, have they smitten my cheek, Together, against me, have they closed their ranks.
১০লোকে মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মুখ মেলে; সিহঁতে ধিক্কাৰ দি মোৰ গালত চৰ মাৰে; সিহঁতে মোৰ অহিতে গোট খায়।
11 GOD doth abandon me to him that is perverse, and, into the hands of the lawless, he throweth me headlong.
১১ঈশ্বৰে মোক অধৰ্মিৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিলে, আৰু দুষ্টবোৰৰ হাতত পেলাই দিলে।
12 At ease, was I when he shattered me, Yea he seized me by my neck, and dashed me in pieces, then set me up for himself as a mark:
১২মই শান্তিৰে আছিলোঁ আৰু তেওঁ মোক ভাঙি পৃথক কৰিলে, এনে কি, মোৰ ডিঙিত ধৰি মোক থেকেচিলে; আৰু মোক নিজৰ কাঁড় মৰাৰ নিচান পাতিলে।
13 His archers came round against me, He clave asunder my reins, and spared not, He poured out, on the earth, my gall:
১৩তেওঁৰ ধনুৰ্দ্ধৰবোৰে মোক আগুৰি ধৰে; ঈশ্বৰে মোৰ বৃক্ক বিদাৰিলে আৰু মোক অতিৰিক্ত নকৰিলে, তেওঁ মোৰ পিত্ত মাটিত ঢালি দিলে।
14 He made a breach in me, breach upon breach, He ran upon me, like a mighty man.
১৪তেওঁ মোৰ প্ৰাচীৰৰ যোগেদি বাৰে বাৰে ভাঙে; তেওঁ বীৰৰ নিচিনাকৈ মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে লৰি আহে।
15 Sackcloth, sewed I on my skin, and rolled—in the dust—my horn:
১৫মই ছালৰ ওপৰত চট কাপোৰ সিয়াই ললোঁ, আৰু ধুলিৰে মোৰ শিং লেটিপেটি কৰিলোঁ।
16 My face, is reddened from weeping, and, upon mine eyelashes, is the death-shade: —
১৬যদিও মোৰ হাতত অত্যাচাৰ নাই, আৰু মোৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনাও পবিত্ৰ,
17 Though no violence was in my hands, and, my prayer, was pure.
১৭তথাপি কান্দোতে কান্দোতে মোৰ মুখ বিকৃত হ’ল, আৰু মৃত্যুচ্ছায়া মোৰ চকুৰ পিৰঠিৰ ওপৰত আছে।
18 O earth! do not cover my blood, and let there be no place for mine outcry.
১৮হে পৃথিৱী, তুমি মোৰ তেজ নাঢাকিবা, আৰু মোৰ কাতৰোক্তিয়ে জিৰাবলৈ ঠাই নাপাওক।
19 Even now, lo! in the heavens, is my witness,
১৯চোৱা, এতিয়াও মোৰ সাক্ষী স্বৰ্গত আছে, আৰু মোৰ পক্ষে প্ৰমাণ দিওঁতা জনা উচ্চস্থানত আছে।
20 And, he that voucheth for me is on high. My friends are, they who scorn me, Unto GOD, hath mine eye shed tears: —
২০মোৰ চকুৱে যেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰৰ কাৰণে অশ্রু বিসৰ্জন কৰে, তেতিয়া মোৰ বন্ধুবোৰেই মোক নিন্দা কৰে;
21 That one might plead, for a man, with GOD, —Even a son of man, for his friend!
২১যেনেদৰে এজন মানুহে নিজ চুবুৰীয়াৰ সৈতে কৰে, তেনেদৰে মই কওঁ সাক্ষ্যৰ বাবে এই মানুহে ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে তৰ্ক কৰে!
22 When, a few years, come, then, by a path by which I shall not return, shall I depart.
২২কিয়নো মাত্র কেইবছৰৰ ভিতৰতে মই সেই ঠাইলৈ যাম, যি ঠাইৰ পৰা মই পুনৰ উভতি আহিব নোৱাৰিম।
