Job 13

1 Lo! all [this], hath mine own eye seen, —Mine ear hath heard and understood it:

“എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ ഇതെല്ലാം കണ്ടു; എന്റെ കാതുകൾ കേൾക്കുകയും ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

2 Just as ye know, I too, know, I, fall not short, of you.

നിങ്ങൾക്കറിയാവുന്നത് എനിക്കുമറിയാം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ കുറഞ്ഞവനുമല്ല.

3 But indeed, I, unto the Almighty, would speak, and, to direct my argument unto GOD, would I be well pleased.

എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ സർവശക്തനോടു സംസാരിക്കും; എന്റെ വാദം ദൈവസന്നിധാനത്തിൽ ഉന്നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും, അതാണ് ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്.

4 For, in truth, ye, do besmear with falsehood, Worthless physicians, all of you!

യോഗ്യതയില്ലാത്ത വൈദ്യന്മാരാണ് നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വ്യാജവാർത്തകൾകൊണ്ട് കളങ്കിതനാക്കുന്നു!

5 Oh that ye would, altogether hold your peace, and it should serve you for wisdom!

ഹാ! നിങ്ങൾ പൂർണമായും മൗനം അവലംബിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ! അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ജ്ഞാനമായിരിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

6 Hear, I pray you, the argument of my mouth, and, to the pleadings of my lips, give heed: —

ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വാദം കേൾക്കൂ; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നുള്ള വ്യവഹാരം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.

7 Is it, for God, ye would speak perversely? And, for him, would ye speak deceit:

നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി അനീതി സംസാരിക്കുമോ? അവിടത്തേക്കുവേണ്ടി വ്യാജവാക്കുകൾ ഉച്ചരിക്കുമോ?

8 Even, for him, would ye be partial? Or, for GOD, would ye [so] plead?

നിങ്ങൾ അവിടത്തോട് പക്ഷഭേദം കാണിക്കുമോ? ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുമോ?

9 Would it be well, when he searched you out? Or, as one might jest with a mortal, would ye jest, with him?

അവിടന്നു നിങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യോഗ്യരെന്നു തെളിയുമോ? അഥവാ, ഒരുത്തൻ മനുഷ്യനെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവത്തെ വഞ്ചിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമോ?

10 He will, severely rebuke, you, if ye are secretly partial.

നിങ്ങൾ ഗൂഢമായി മുഖപക്ഷം കാണിച്ചാൽ അവിടന്നു തീർച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളെ ശാസിക്കും.

11 Shall not, his majesty, overwhelm you? and, the dread of him, fall upon you?

അവിടത്തെ പ്രതാപം നിങ്ങളെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ലേ? അവിടത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഭീതി നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ പതിക്കുന്നില്ലേ?

12 Are not your memorable sayings, proverbs of ashes? Breastworks of clay, your breastworks?

നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹദ്വചനങ്ങൾ നാശത്തിന്റെ പഴമൊഴികളത്രേ; നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിരോധനിരകൾ കളിമൺകോട്ടകൾതന്നെ.

13 Quietly let me alone, that, I, may speak out, then let come on me, what may.

“മൗനമായിരിക്കുക, എന്നെ സംസാരിക്കാൻ അനുവദിക്കുക; പിന്നെ എനിക്കു വരുന്നതു വരട്ടെ.

14 In any case, I will take up my flesh in my teeth, and, my life, will I put in my hand:

എന്തിനു ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശരീരം അപകടത്തിലാക്കുകയും എന്റെ ജീവൻ പണയപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യണം?

15 Lo! he may slay me, [yet], for him, will I wait, —Nevertheless, my ways—unto his face, will I show to be right:

അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ കൊന്നാലും ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കും; എന്റെ വഴികൾ ശരിയെന്നു തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാൻ ബോധിപ്പിക്കും.

16 Even he, will be on my side—unto salvation, For, not before his face, shall any impious person come.

തീർച്ചയായും, ഇതുതന്നെയായിരിക്കും എന്റെ മോചനത്തിനുള്ള മാർഗം. അഭക്തർ അവിടത്തെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വരുന്നതിനു ധൈര്യപ്പെടുകയില്ല!

17 Hear ye patiently my speech, and be my declaration in your ears.

എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേൾക്കുക; എന്റെ പ്രസ്താവന നിങ്ങളുടെ ചെവികളിൽ മുഴങ്ങട്ടെ.

18 Lo! I pray you, I have set forth in order a plea, I know that, I, shall be found right.

ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം തയ്യാറാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ കുറ്റവിമുക്തനാക്കപ്പെടും എന്ന് എനിക്കുറപ്പുണ്ട്.

19 Who is it that shall contend with me? For, now, if I should hold my peace, why! I should breathe my last!

എനിക്കെതിരേ ആരോപണമുയർത്താൻ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ? ഞാൻ നിശ്ശബ്ദനായിരുന്ന് മരണംവരിക്കും.

20 Only, two things, do thou not with me, then, from thy face, will I not hide me: —

“ദൈവമേ, ഈ രണ്ടു കാര്യങ്ങൾമാത്രം എനിക്ക് അനുവദിച്ചുതരണമേ, അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽനിന്ന് ഒന്നും ഒളിക്കുകയില്ല:

21 Thy hand—from off me, take thou far away, and, thy terror, let it not startle me!

അങ്ങയുടെ കരം എന്നിൽനിന്ന് ദൂരേക്ക് അകറ്റണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ഭീകരതകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യരുതേ.

22 Then call thou, and, I, will answer, Or I will speak, and reply thou unto me.

പിന്നീട്, അങ്ങ് എന്നെ വിളിക്കൂ, ഞാൻ ഉത്തരം പറയാം, അഥവാ, ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കട്ടെ, അങ്ങ് ഉത്തരമരുളിയാലും.

23 How many are mine iniquities and sins? My transgression and my sin, let me know!

ഞാൻ ചെയ്തുകൂട്ടിയ അതിക്രമങ്ങളും പാപങ്ങളും എത്രമാത്രം? എന്റെ ലംഘനവും എന്റെ പാപവും എന്നെ അറിയിക്കണമേ.

24 Wherefore, thy face, shouldst thou hide? Or count me, as an enemy to thee?

അങ്ങ് എനിക്കു തിരുമുഖം മറയ്ക്കുകയും എന്നെ ശത്രുവായി കണക്കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്തിന്?

25 A driven leaf, wilt thou cause to tremble? Or, dry stubble, wilt thou pursue?

കൊഴിഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്ന ഇലയെ അങ്ങു ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കുമോ? ഉണങ്ങിയ പതിരിനെ അങ്ങു പിൻതുടരുമോ?

26 For thou writest, against me, bitter things, and dost make me inherit the iniquities of my youth;

അങ്ങ് എനിക്കെതിരേ കയ്‌പുള്ളത് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ യൗവനകാല പാപങ്ങളുടെ ഫലം എന്നെ അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

27 And thou dost put—in the stocks—my feet, and observest all my paths, Against the roots of my feet, thou dost cut out a bound;

അങ്ങ് എന്റെ കാൽ ആമത്തിലിടുന്നു; എന്റെ കാലടികളിൽ അടയാളംകുറിച്ച് എന്റെ വഴികളെല്ലാം സസൂക്ഷ്മം നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

28 And, a man himself, as a rotten thing, weareth out, as a garment which the moth hath eaten.

“ചീഞ്ഞഴുകുന്ന വസ്തുപോലെയും ചിതലരിച്ച വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും മനുഷ്യൻ ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു.
