Job 11
1 Then responded Zophar the Naamathite, and said: —
ଏଥିରେ ନାମାଥୀୟ ସୋଫର ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲା,
2 Should, the multitude of words, not be answered? Or should, a man full of talk, be justified?
“ଏତେ କଥାର କି କିଛି ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଆଯିବ ନାହିଁ? ଓ ବକୁଆ ଲୋକ କʼଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷ ଗଣାଯିବ?
3 Shall, thy pratings, cause men to hold their peace? When thou hast mocked, shall there be none to put thee to shame?
ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦର୍ପ କʼଣ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନୀରବ କରିବ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରିହାସ କଲେ, କେହି କʼଣ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ?
4 Since thou hast said, Right is my doctrine, and pure am I in his eyes.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହୁଅଛ, ‘ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଶୁଚି।’
5 But, in very deed, oh that GOD would speak, that he would open his lips with thee:
ମାତ୍ର ଆହା, ଯେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କଥା କହନ୍ତେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠାଧର ଫିଟାନ୍ତେ;
6 That he would declare to thee the secrets of wisdom, for they are double to that which actually is, —Know then that GOD could bring into forgetfulness for thee, a portion of thine iniquity.
ପୁଣି, ଜ୍ଞାନର ନିଗୂଢ଼ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତହିଁର ବହୁବିଧ ଫଳଦାୟକ କର୍ମଣ୍ୟତା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାନ୍ତେ! ଏହେତୁ ଜାଣ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅପରାଧ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଊଣା ପରିଶୋଧ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ନେଉଅଛନ୍ତି।
7 The hidden depth of GOD canst thou discover? Or, unto the furthest limit of the Almighty, canst thou attain?
ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପାଇ ପାର? ତୁମ୍ଭେ କʼଣ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ପାଇ ପାର?
8 The heights of the heavens, what canst thou do? Depths deeper than hades, what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)
ତାହା ଆକାଶ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଉଚ୍ଚ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ କରିପାର? ପାତାଳଠାରୁ ଗଭୀର; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଅଣ ଜାଣିପାର? (Sheol h7585)
9 Longer than the earth, is the measure thereof, and broader than the sea.
ତହିଁର ପରିମାଣ ପୃଥିବୀ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଦୀର୍ଘ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଅପେକ୍ଷା ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ।
10 If he sweep on, or shut up, or call together, Who then shall hinder him?
ଯଦି ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଚାଲିଯାʼନ୍ତି ଓ ବନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଚାର ସଭାକୁ ଡାକନ୍ତି, ତେବେ କିଏ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବାରଣ କରିପାରେ?
11 For, he, knoweth men of falsity, and seeth iniquity, and him that doth not diligently consider.
କାରଣ ସେ ଅସାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆଲୋଚନା ନ କରି ହିଁ ଅଧର୍ମ ଦେଖନ୍ତି।
12 But, an empty person, will get sense, when, a wild ass’s colt, is born a man!
ଜଣେ ଅସାର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ବୁଦ୍ଧିବାନ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେବେ ବନ୍ୟ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭଶାବକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଜାତ କରିବ।
13 If, thou, hast prepared thy heart, and wilt spread forth, unto him, thy hands—
ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ରୂପେ ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼େ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କର;
14 If, iniquity, be in thy hand, Put it far away, and let there not dwell in thy tents perversity,
ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ଅଧର୍ମ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ଦୂର କରିଦିଅ ଓ ଅଧର୍ମକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ତମ୍ବୁରେ ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ନ ଦିଅ;
15 Surely, then, shalt thou lift up thy face free from blemish, and shalt be established, and not fear.
ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କଳଙ୍କରହିତ ହୋଇ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଟେକିବ; ଆହୁରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହେବ ଓ ଭୟ କରିବ ନାହିଁ;
16 For, now, shalt thou forget, sorrow, Like waters passed away, shalt thou remember it.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦୁଃଖ ପାସୋରି ପକାଇବ; ବହିଗଲା ଜଳ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ;
17 Above high noon, shall rise life’s continuance, Darkness, like a morning, shall appear,
ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜୀବନ ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ନିର୍ମଳ ହେବ; ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଥିଲେ ହେଁ ତାହା ପ୍ରଭାତ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।
18 And thou shalt he confident, that there is hope, and, when thou hast searched, securely shalt thou lie down;
ପୁଣି, ଭରସା ଥିବାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିର୍ବିଘ୍ନରେ ରହିବ; ଆହୁରି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗ ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କରି ନିରାପଦରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରିବ।
19 And shalt rest, with none to put thee in terror, —and many shall entreat thy favour.
ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୟନ କଲେ, କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୀତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ବରଞ୍ଚ ଅନେକେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ନିବେଦନ କରିବେ।
20 But, the eyes of the lawless, shall fail, —and, place of refuge, shall have vanished from them, and, their hope, be a breathing out of life.
ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପଳାଇବାର ବାଟ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଭରସା ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବ।”
