Jeremiah 9
1 Oh that my head were waters, And mine eyes a fountain of tears, —That I might weep day and night, For the slain of the daughter of my people!
১মোৰ মূৰ জলময়, আৰু মোৰ চকু দুটা চকু-লোৰ ভুমুকস্বৰূপ হোৱা হ’লে! কেনে ভাল আছিল, অহ, মোৰ জাতিস্বৰূপা জীয়াৰীৰ হত হোৱাসকলৰ বাবে দিনে ৰাতিয়ে ক্রন্দন কৰিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন।
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness, a wayfarers’ lodge, That I might leave my people, and go from them, —For they all, are Adulterers, An assemblage of traitors;
২অহ, মোৰ জাতি এৰি তেওঁলোকৰ পৰা আঁতৰি যাবৰ বাবে, অৰণ্যত পথিকসকলৰ ৰাতি থকা ঠাই মোৰ হোৱা হ’লে কেনে ভাল আছিল! কিয়নো তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই ব্যভিচাৰী, বিশ্বাসঘাতক লোকৰ সমাজ।
3 Who have prepared their tongue as their bow of falsehood, And, not by faithfulness, have they become mighty in the land, —For from wickedness unto wickedness, have they gone forth, But me, have they not known, Declareth Yahweh.
৩আৰু তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ জিভাৰূপ ধনুত নিজৰ মিছা কথাস্বৰূপ বাণ জোৰে, আৰু দেশত পৰাক্ৰমী হয়, কিন্তু সত্যৰ বাবে নহয়। কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে এক দুষ্টতাৰ পৰা আন দুষ্টতালৈ আগ বাঢ়ি যায় আৰু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তেওঁলোকে মোক হ’লে নাজানে।
4 Every one, of his neighbour, beware ye, And in no brother, may ye trust, —For, every brother, supplanteth! And every neighbour, as a tale-bearer, goeth about;
৪তোমালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ বিষয়ে সাৱধান হোৱা, আৰু কোনো ভাইক বিশ্বাস নকৰিবা; কিয়নো প্ৰতিজন ভায়ে সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ ঠগায় আৰু প্ৰতিজন চুবুৰীয়াই কথা চৰ্চ্চি ফুৰে।
5 Yea, every one, of his neighbour, maketh a dupe, And, truth, they do not speak, —They have taught their tongue to speak falsehood, In acting perversely, they have wearied themselves.
৫আৰু প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াক প্ৰবঞ্চনা কৰে, সত্য নহয়; তেওঁলোকে মিছা কথা কবলৈ নিজ নিজ জিভাক শিকালে; তেওঁলোকে অপৰাধ কৰি নিজকে নিজে ভাগৰ লগায়।
6 Thy dwelling, is in the midst of deceit, —Through deceit, have they rejected the knowledge of, me, Declareth Yahweh.
৬তোমাৰ বসতিৰ ঠাই ছলৰ মাজত আছে; যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তেওঁলোকে ছলৰ কাৰণে মোক জানিবলৈ অমান্তি হয়।
7 Therefore, thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Behold me! melting them, so will I try them, —For how else should I do because of the wickedness of the daughter of my people?
৭এই হেতুকে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, মই তেওঁলোকক গলাই পৰীক্ষা কৰিম আৰু নিৰীক্ষণ কৰিম; কিয়নো মোৰ জাতিস্বৰূপা জীয়াৰীৰ কাৰণে মই আন কি কৰিব পাৰোঁ?
8 A pointed arrow, is their tongue Deceit, hath it spoken, —With his mouth peace unto his neighbour, doth one speak, But within himself, he layeth his ambush.
৮তেওঁলোকৰ জিভা প্ৰাণনাশক বাণস্বৰূপ, সেয়ে ছলৰ কথা কয়; তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজনে মুখেৰে ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ লগত শান্তিৰ কথা কয়, কিন্তু অন্তৰত তাৰ বাবে খাপ দি থাকে।
9 For these things, shall I not bring punishment on them? Demandeth Yahweh, —On a nation such as this, must not my soul avenge herself!
৯যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই তেওঁলোকক এইবোৰৰ কাৰণে দণ্ড নিদিম নে? মোৰ প্ৰাণে এনে জাতিৰ প্ৰতিকাৰ নাসাধিব নে?
10 Over the mountains, will I take up a weeping and wailing, And over the oases of the desert, a dirge, For they have been burned, so that no man passeth through, Neither have men heard the lowing of cattle, —Both the bird of the heavens and the beast have fled, have gone their way:
১০মই পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ কাৰণে ক্ৰন্দন আৰু হাহাঁকাৰ কৰিম, আৰু অৰণ্যৰ চৰণীয়া ঠাইৰ কাৰণে বিলাপ কৰিম। কিয়নো সেইবোৰৰ মাজেদি কোনেও যাব নোৱাৰাকৈ সেইবোৰ দগ্ধ হ’ল, পশুৰ মাত তাত শুনা নাযায়, আকাশৰ চৰাইবোৰ আৰু পশুবোৰো পলাই গুচি গ’ল।
11 Thus will I give up Jerusalem To heaps, A habitation for jackals, —And the cities of Judah, will I give up to desolation, without inhabitant.
১১মই যিৰূচালেমক ভগ্নৰাশি, শিয়ালৰ বাসস্থান কৰিম। আৰু মই যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰ নিবাসী-শূন্য ধ্বংসস্থান কৰিম।
12 Who, is the man that is wise That he may discern this? And, unto whom, hath the mouth of Yahweh spoken, That he may declare it? For what cause Hath the land perished, Hath it been burned as a wilderness that no man passeth through?
১২সেই সকলো বুজিব পৰা কোন জ্ঞানী লোক আছে? আৰু তাক প্ৰকাশ কৰিবৰ বাবে যিহোৱাই যাৰ আগত নিজ মুখে কৈছিল? এনে কোন মানুহ আছে? এই দেশৰ মাজেদি কোনেও যাব নোৱাৰাকৈ এয়ে কিয় বিনষ্ট আৰু মৰুভুমিৰ নিচিনা দগ্ধ হল?
13 Then said Yahweh, —Because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them, —And have not hearkened to hay voice neither walked therein;
১৩যিহোৱাই কৈছে, ‘কাৰণ এই, মই তেওঁলোকৰ আগত স্থাপৰ কৰা মোৰ ব্যৱস্থা তেওঁলোকে ত্যাগ কৰিলে, আৰু মোৰ বাক্যলৈ কাণ নিদিলে, বা তাত নচলিলে।
14 But have gone their way, After the stubbornness of their own heart, —And after the Baals which their fathers taught them,
১৪কিন্তু নিজ মনৰ কঠিনতা অনুসাৰে আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে তেওঁলোকক শিকোৱা বাল দেৱতাবোৰৰ পাছত চলিলে।
15 Therefore, Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, The God of Israel, Behold me! Feeding them, even this people, with wormwood, —And I will cause them to drink, poisoned water;
১৫এই হেতুকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, মই এই লোকসকলক নাগদানা ভোজন কৰোৱাম, আৰু বিহ গছৰ ৰস পান কৰোৱাম।
16 And will scatter them among the nations, which neither they nor their fathers, have known, —And will send after them the sword, until I have consumed them.
১৬তেওঁলোকে বা তেওঁলোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে নজনা জাতি সমূহৰ মাজত মই তেওঁলোকক ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন কৰিম; আৰু মই তেওঁলোকক সংহাৰ নকৰোঁমানলৈকে, তেওঁলোকৰ পাছে পাছে তৰোৱাল পঠিয়াম।
17 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Consider ye diligently and call for the wailing women that they may come, —And unto the wise women, send ye, that they may come;
১৭বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: তোমালোকে বিবেচনা কৰা; বিলাপ-কাৰিণীহঁতক মাতা, তেওঁলোক আহক; বিলাপ কৰাত নিপুণ মহিলাসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ মানুহ পঠিওৱা, তেওঁলোক আহক।
18 Yea let them make haste, and lift up over us a wailing, —That our eyes, may run down, with tears, And, our eyelashes, stream down with water; —
১৮তেওঁলোকে খৰকৈ আহি আমাৰ কাৰণে হাহাঁকাৰ কৰ’ক, যাতে চকু-লোত আমাৰ চকু উটি যাবৰ বাবে, আৰু আমাৰ চকুৰ পিৰঠিয়েদি বেগেৰে পানী ওলাই যায়।
19 Yea, a voice of wailing, hath been heard out of Zion How are we ruined! We have turned very pale For we have left the land, For they have cast down our habitations.
১৯কিয়নো চিয়োনৰ পৰা হাহাঁকাৰ শব্দ শুনা গৈছে, আমি কেনে বিনষ্ট হ’লো! আমি দেশ ত্যাগ কৰা বাবে, তেওঁলোকে আমাৰ নিবাসবোৰ ভাঙি পেলোৱাৰ কাৰণে আমি অতি ব্যাকুল হ’লো।
20 For hear O ye women the word of Yahweh, And let your ear take in the word of his mouth, —And teach your daughters a wail, Yea each woman—her neighbour, a dirge: —
২০তথাপি হে মহিলাসকল, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা: আৰু তোমালোকৰ কাৰণে তেওঁৰ মুখৰ বাক্য মনোযোগেৰে গ্ৰহণ কৰা। আৰু তোমালোকে নিজ নিজ জীয়েৰাসকলক হাহাঁকাৰ কৰিবলৈ শিক্ষা দিয়া, আৰু তোমালোক প্ৰত্যেকে নিজ নিজ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াক বিলাপ কৰিবলৈ শিকোৱা।
21 That death Hath come up through our windows, Hath entered our palaces, —Cutting off The boy from the street, The young men from the broadways.
২১কিয়নো মৃত্যুৱে বাহিৰত লৰাহঁত আৰু চকত ডেকাসকল উচ্চন্ন কৰিলে। খিড়িকিয়েদি উঠি আমাৰ অট্ৰালিকাবোৰত সোমাল।
22 Speak thou, Thus, declareth Yahweh, So shall fall the dead bodies of men, Like dung heaps on the face of the field, —And like swaths after the harvestman, With none to gather.
২২তুমি কোৱা, যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: লোকসকলৰ শৱ সাৰৰ দৰে পৰি থাকিব, আৰু দাওঁতাৰ পাছত এৰি যোৱা মুঠিৰ দৰেই পথাৰত পৰি থাকিব; কোনেও সেইবোৰ নোগোটাব।
23 Thus, saith Yahweh Let not, the wise man, glory in his wisdom, Neither let, the mighty man, glory, in his might, —Let not, the rich man, glory in his riches;
২৩যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: জ্ঞানীয়ে নিজ জ্ঞানত গৌৰৱ নকৰক, বীৰে নিজ পৰাক্ৰমত, আৰু ধনীয়ে নিজ ধনত গৌৰৱ নকৰক।
24 But, in this, let the glorying one glory—In having intelligence and in knowing me, That, I, am Yahweh, Executing lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, —That in these things, I delight Declareth Yahweh.
২৪কিন্তু যি জনে গৌৰৱ কৰে, তেওঁ ইয়াতহে গৌৰৱ কৰে, যে, তেওঁ মোৰ বিষয়ে বুজে আৰু জানে, যে মই পৃথিৱীত দয়া, বিচাৰ আৰু ধাৰ্মিকতা সিদ্ধ কৰোঁতা যিহোৱা; কিয়নো এইবোৰত মই সন্তোষ পাওঁ, ইয়াক যিহোৱাই কৈছে।
25 Lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, —When I will bring punishment upon every one circumcised, With him that is uncircumcised:
২৫যিহোৱাই কৈছে, চোৱা, এনে দিন আহিছে, যে, সেই দিনা মই চুন্নৎ হোৱাসকলক অচুন্নৎ বুলি দণ্ড দিম।
26 Upon Egypt and upon Judah, And upon Edom, and upon the sons of Ammon, And upon Moab, And upon all the clipped beards, The dwellers in the desert, —For, all the nations, are uncircumcised, And, all the house of Israel, are uncircumcised in heart.
২৬মই মিচৰ, যিহূদা, ইদোম, অম্মোনৰ সন্তান সকল, মোৱাব আৰু কুমৰ গুড়িত ডাঢ়ি-চুলি কটা অৰণ্য-নিবাসী লোকসকলক দণ্ড দিম। কিয়নো সেই আটাই জাতি সমূহ অচুন্নৎ, আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ গোটেই বংশ হৃদয়পালটন কৰা লোক নহয়।”
