Jeremiah 6
1 Take your goods into safety, ye sons of Benjamin out of the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa, blow ye a horn, And on Beth-haccherem, raise a fire-signal, —For calamity, hath looked out from the North, Even a great destruction.
Reer Benyaamiinow, Yeruusaalem dhexdeeda ka carara, oo buunka Teqooca ka yeedhiya, oo Beyd Hakeremna calaamad kor uga qaada, waayo, waxaa xagga woqooyi ka soo socda masiibo iyo halligaad weyn.
2 To a comely and delicate woman, have I likened the daughter of Zion:
Magaalada Siyoon oo u eg naag suurad wacan oo jilicsan ayaan baabbi'in doonaa.
3 Against her, shall come shepherds with their flocks; They have pitched against her their tents, round about, They tend their flocks every one near at hand.
Waxaa iyada u iman doona adhijirro adhyahoodii wata, oo teendhooyinkooda ayay hareeraheeda ka dhisan doonaan, oo midkood kastaaba wuxuu iska daaqsan doonaa meeshiisa.
4 Hallow ye against her a war, Arise! and let us go up in broad noon. Woe to us, for the day, hath turned, for the shadows of evening, stretch along.
Isu diyaariya inaad iyada dagaal ugu kacdaan, sara joogsada, oo ina keena aan iyada hadhka weerarnee. Annagaa iska hoognay, waayo, gabbalkii waa dhacay, oo hooskii habeennimo ayaa sii dheeraaday.
5 Arise! and let us go up in the night, And let us destroy her palaces.
Sara joogsada, oo ina keena aynu iyada habeennimo weerarnee, oo aynu daaraheeda waaweyn wada duminnee.
6 For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Cut ye down timber, And cast up, against Jerusalem a mound, —That, is the city to be punished! There is, nothing, but oppression in her midst;
Waayo, Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu yidhi, Dhirteeda jara, oo Yeruusaalem tuulmo ku tuula, waayo, tanu waa magaalada la ciqaabayo, oo waxaa ka buuxa dulmi miidhan.
7 Like the casting forth by a well of its waters, So, hath she cast forth her wickedness, —Violence and destruction, are heard in her, Before my face, continually, are suffering and smiting.
Sidii ili biyaheeda u soo burqiso oo kale ayay sharnimadeeda u soo burqisaa had iyo goorba, dhexdeedana waxaa laga maqlaa dulmi iyo kharribaad, oo had iyo goorna waxaa hortayda yaal cudur iyo nabro.
8 Receive thou correction O Jerusalem, Lest my soul be torn from thee, —Lest I make thee A desolation, A land not habitable.
Yeruusaalemay, si aan naftaydu kaaga tegin, oo aanan kaaga dhigin cidlo iyo dal aan ciduna degganayn, edeb qaado.
9 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel—Turn back thy hand, as a grape gatherer over the tendrils.
Rabbigii ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Kuwa dadka Israa'iil ee hadhay waxaa loo wada xaabxaabi doonaa sida geedcanab oo kale, Sida mid canab guranaya oo kale gacanta dambiisha ku soo celiya.
10 Unto whom, can I speak—and bear witness, that they may hear? Lo! uncircumcised, is their ear, that they cannot attend, —Lo! the word of Yahweh, hath become to them a reproach, they take no delight therein.
Inay i maqlaan bal yaan la hadlaa oo aan u digaa? Bal eega, dhegahoodu ma xalaalaysna, oo waxba ma ay maqli karaan. Bal eega, erayga Rabbigu cay buu iyaga u noqday, oo innaba kuma ay farxaan.
11 So then, with the indignation of Yahweh, am I full, I am too weary to hold it in, [I am constrained] to pour it out, upon the boy in the street, and upon the circle of young men, together, —For, even husband with wife, will be captured, The elder with him who is full of days;
Sidaas daraaddeed waxaa iga buuxda cadhadii Rabbiga, oo inaan isceliyo waan ku daalay. Haddaba cadhadii ku deji carruurta jidka joogta iyo shirka barbaarrada oo dhan, waayo, xataa nin iyo naagtiisaba waa la kaxayn doonaa, oo odayga iyo kan cimriga dheerba waa la isla wada kaxayn doonaa.
12 And their houses shall be turned over to others, Fields and wives together, —For I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land, Declareth Yahweh.
Oo guryahooda, iyo beerahooda, iyo naagahoodaba kuwa kalaa la siin doonaa dhammaantoodba, waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu waxaan gacantayda ku fidin doonaa dadka dalka deggan.
13 For, from the least of them, even unto the greatest of them, Every one, graspeth with greed, —And from the prophet even unto the priest, Every one, dealeth, falsely;
Waayo, kooda ugu yar ilaa kooda ugu weyn midkood kastaaba wuxuu u go'ay damacxumaan, oo nebiga iyo xataa wadaadka inta ka dhexle midkood kastaaba been buu ku macaamiloodaa.
14 And so they have healed the grievous wound of my people, slightly, Saying, Peace, peace, when there was no peace,
Oo iyagu dhaawicii dadkayga ayay si fudud u bogsiiyeen, oo iyadoo aan innaba nabadu jirin ayay yidhaahdaan, Waa nabad! Waa nabad!
15 Were they led to turn pale because an abominable thing, they had done! Nay! they did not, at all turn pale, Nay! they did not so much as know how, to exhibit shame, Therefore, shall they fall among them who are falling, In the time when I punish them, shall they be overthrown, Saith Yahweh.
Markay karaahiyada sameeyeen miyey xishoodeen? Maya, innaba ma ay xishoon, ceebna ma garan, sidaas daraaddeed waxay la dhici doonaan kuwa dhacaya. Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Wakhtigii aan iyaga soo ciqaabo ayay hoos u dhici doonaan.
16 Thus saith Yahweh—Stand ye at the ways—and see, And ask for the paths of age-past times, Where is the good way? And walk therein, And ye shall find rest to your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein]!
Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Jidadka dhex istaaga, oo bal wax fiiriya, oo bal dhabbayaashii hore haybsada, oo waxaad tidhaahdaan, Meeh jidkii wanaagsanaa? Oo markaas ku socdaa, oo naftiinna nasashaad u heli doontaan. Laakiinse iyagu waxay yidhaahdeen, Annagu ku socon mayno jidkaas.
17 Therefore will I raise up over you, watchmen, Give ye heed to the sound of a horn, —But they said, We will not give heed!
Oo weliba waxaan idiin dhigay waardiyayaal, oo waxaan idinku idhi, Buunka dhawaaqiisa dhegaysta. Laakiinse iyagu waxay yidhaahdeen, Annagu waxba dhegaysan mayno.
18 Therefore, hear O ye nations, —And take knowledge O assembly, Of that which befalleth them:
Sidaas daraaddeed, quruumahow bal maqla, oo ururkow, bal ogow waxa kuwan ku dhici doona.
19 Hear thou—O earth, Lo! I, am bringing in Calamity against this people the fruit of their own devices, —For unto my words, have they not given heed, And as for my law, they have rejected it.
Dhulkow, bal maqal, oo bal ogow, dadkan masiibaan ku soo dejin doonaa taasoo ah waxay fikirradoodii keeneen, waayo, erayadaydii ma ayan dhegaysan, sharcigaygiina way diideen.
20 What then is it to me that—Frankincense from Shebah come in, or Sweet cane from a land afar off? Your own ascending-offerings, are not acceptable, Nor are, your sacrifices, pleasing to me.
Fooxa Shebaa ka yimid iyo qasabka macaan ee dal fog laga keenay maxay ii taraan? Qurbaannadiinna la gubo aqbali maayo, oo allabaryadiinnuna iga farxin maayaan.
21 Wherefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! laying before this people, stumblingblocks, —And fathers and sons together, shall stumble against them, The neighbour and his friend, shall perish.
Oo sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal eega, waxaan dadkan hor dhigi doonaa wax lagu turunturoodo, oo aabbayaasha iyo wiilashuba way ku wada turunturoon doonaan, oo deriska iyo saaxiibkiisba way wada halligmi doonaan.
22 Thus, saith Yahweh, Lo! a people coming in from the land of the North, —Yea a great nation, shall be stirred up out of the remote parts of the earth:
Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, dadyow baa dalka woqooyi ka iman doona, oo quruun weyn ayaa dhulka darafyadiisa ka soo kici doonta.
23 Bow and javelin, shall they grasp, Cruel, is he! So they will not have compassion, Their voice, like the sea, will roar, And on horses, will they ride, —Arrayed each one, like a man for battle, Against thee, O daughter of Zion!
Oo waxay sitaan qaansooyin iyo warmo, oo waa calool adag yihiin, oo innaba naxariis ma leh. Codkoodana waxaa la moodaa sida bad guuxaysa oo kale, oo farday fuulaan. Siyoonay, mid kastaaba wuxuu kuugu soo safan yahay sida nin dagaal diyaar u ah oo kale.
24 We have heard the report thereof, Relaxed are our hands, —Anguish, hath taken hold on us, Pangs, as on her that is giving birth.
Waxaannu maqalnay warkoodii, oo gacmahayagii way taag gabeen, oo cidhiidhi iyo xanuun baa noo qabtay sida naag foolanaysa oo kale.
25 Do not go out into the field, And in the road, do not walk, -Because a sword, hath the foe, —Terror round about!
Berrinka ha u bixina, oo jidkana ha marina, waayo, seeftii cadowga iyo cabsi baa dhan kasta idinka jirta.
26 O daughter of my people Gird thee with sackcloth and roll thyself in ashes, —The mourning for an only son, make thou for thyself, Most bitter lamentation! For suddenly, shall the destroyer come upon us.
Dadkaygow, joonyad xidho, oo dambas ku galgalo, oo waxaad u baroorataa sida wiil madi ah loogu baroorto, oo waxaad ku ooydaa baroor aad u qadhaadh, waayo, waxbaabbi'iyihii dhaqsuu inoogu soo degi doonaa.
27 An assayer, have I set thee amongst my people, of gold-ore, —That thou mayest note and try their way:
Waxaan dadkayga dhexdiisa kuu dhigay inaad ahaatid imtixaame, si aad jidkooda u ogaatid oo aad u imtixaantid.
28 They all, are rebels of rebels, Slander-walkers [They are] bronze and iron! As for them all, corrupters, they are!
Iyagu waa caasiyiin fallaagoobay, oo xan bay la ordaan oo iyagu waa naxaas iyo bir, oo kulligoodna waa kuwa wax kharriba.
29 Scorched are the bellows, By fire, is lead wont to be, consumed, —In vain, hath he gone on refining, For the wicked, have not been drawn out:
Buufinkii aad buu wax u buufiyaa, oo laxaamaddiina dabkaa baabba'saday, oo lacag shubihiina waxtarla'aan buu wax u sii dhalaalinayaa, waayo, sharrowyadii weli ma soocna.
30 Rejected silver, are they called, For, Yahweh, hath rejected them.
Waxaa iyaga loogu yeedhi doonaa, Lacag la nacay, waayo, Rabbigu iyaguu nacay.
