< Jeremiah 6 >

1 Take your goods into safety, ye sons of Benjamin out of the midst of Jerusalem, And in Tekoa, blow ye a horn, And on Beth-haccherem, raise a fire-signal, —For calamity, hath looked out from the North, Even a great destruction.
Birukenyo ti pagtalgedanyo, tattao ti Benjamin, babaen iti panangpanawyo iti Jerusalem. Mangpaunikayo iti tangguyob idiay Tekoa. Mangipangatokayo iti pagilasinan idiay Bet-Hakerem, agsipud ta agparparang ti kinadangkes manipud amianan; sumungsungaden ti dakkel a pannakadadael.
2 To a comely and delicate woman, have I likened the daughter of Zion:
Ti anak a babai ti Sion, ti napintas ken makaay-ayo a balasang, ket madadaelto.
3 Against her, shall come shepherds with their flocks; They have pitched against her their tents, round about, They tend their flocks every one near at hand.
Mapanto kadakuada dagiti agpaspastor agraman dagiti arbanda; agpatakderdanto kadagiti tolda iti aglawlaw daytoy; agpastorto ti tunggal tao baben iti bukodna nga ima.
4 Hallow ye against her a war, Arise! and let us go up in broad noon. Woe to us, for the day, hath turned, for the shadows of evening, stretch along.
Kunanto dagiti ari, “Idatonyo dagiti bagbagiyo kadagiti dios para iti gubat. Tumakderkayo, rumauttayo iti tengnga ti aldaw. Saan a nasayaat a lumneken ti init ket sumipngeten.
5 Arise! and let us go up in the night, And let us destroy her palaces.
Ngem rumauttayo iti rabii ket dadaelentayo dagiti sarikedkedna.''
6 For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Cut ye down timber, And cast up, against Jerusalem a mound, —That, is the city to be punished! There is, nothing, but oppression in her midst;
Ta kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin: Pukanenyo dagiti kayo ti Jerusalem, ken pagtutuonenyo a panglakub iti Jerusalem. Daytoy ti umisu a siudad a rautentayo, gapu ta napnoan daytoy iti panangidadanes.
7 Like the casting forth by a well of its waters, So, hath she cast forth her wickedness, —Violence and destruction, are heard in her, Before my face, continually, are suffering and smiting.
Kas iti bubon nga agtultuloy a mangmangted iti danum, kasta met ti panangparparnuay daytoy a siudad iti kinadakes. Kinaranggas ken riribuk ket mangmangngeg kenkuana. Agtultuloy ti panagsagaba ken didigra iti sangoanak.
8 Receive thou correction O Jerusalem, Lest my soul be torn from thee, —Lest I make thee A desolation, A land not habitable.
Awatem ti panangiwanwan, Jerusalem, ta no saan, tallikudanka ket dadaelenka, pagbalinenka a maysa a langalang a daga.'”
9 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel—Turn back thy hand, as a grape gatherer over the tendrils.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Manakabalin-amin, “Awan duadua nga umayda tudtoden a kas iti kaubasan dagiti nabatbati iti Israel. Igaw-atyo manen ti imayo a mangpuros iti bunga ti ubas manipud kadagiti sanga ti ubas.
10 Unto whom, can I speak—and bear witness, that they may hear? Lo! uncircumcised, is their ear, that they cannot attend, —Lo! the word of Yahweh, hath become to them a reproach, they take no delight therein.
Siasino ti rumbeng a pangipakaammoak ken pangiballaagak tapno dumngegda? Kitaem! Saan a nakugit dagiti lapayagda; saanda a kabaelan ti mangipangag! Kitaem! Immay ti sao ni Yahweh kadakuada a mangiwanwan kadakuada, ngem saanda a kayat daytoy.”
11 So then, with the indignation of Yahweh, am I full, I am too weary to hold it in, [I am constrained] to pour it out, upon the boy in the street, and upon the circle of young men, together, —For, even husband with wife, will be captured, The elder with him who is full of days;
Ngem napnoanak iti pungtot ni Yahweh, Nabannogakon a mangib-ibtur iti daytoy. Kinunana kaniak, “Ibuyatmo daytoy kadagiti ubbing kadagiti kalsada ken kadagiti bunggoy dagiti agtutubo a lallaki. Ta maipanaw ti tunggal lalaki a kadduana ti asawana; ken tunggal nataengan a tao kasta met dagiti adun iti tawenna.
12 And their houses shall be turned over to others, Fields and wives together, —For I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land, Declareth Yahweh.
Maitedto iti sabali dagiti balayda, agraman dagiti taltalonda ken dagiti assawada. Ta rautekto dagiti agnanaed iti daga babaen iti imak-daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh-
13 For, from the least of them, even unto the greatest of them, Every one, graspeth with greed, —And from the prophet even unto the priest, Every one, dealeth, falsely;
ta manipud iti kanunumoan kadakuada agingga kadagiti katatan-okan – agar-aramid ti tunggal maysa kadakuada iti saan a nalinteg a pamusmusan tapno makakuarta. Manipud iti profeta agingga iti padi- manangallilaw ti tunggal maysa kadakuada.
14 And so they have healed the grievous wound of my people, slightly, Saying, Peace, peace, when there was no peace,
Ngem agasanda dagiti sugsugat dagiti tattaok iti parparawpaw laeng, no kasta a kunaenda, ‘Kappia! Kappia!' idinto nga awan iti kappia.
15 Were they led to turn pale because an abominable thing, they had done! Nay! they did not, at all turn pale, Nay! they did not so much as know how, to exhibit shame, Therefore, shall they fall among them who are falling, In the time when I punish them, shall they be overthrown, Saith Yahweh.
Nagbainda kadi idi nagaramidda kadagiti makarimon? Saanda a pulos a nagbain; saanda a napadasan ti nagpakumbaba. Isu a matnagdanto a kadua dagiti matnag iti tiempo a dusaek ida. Maabakdanto,” kuna ni Yahweh.
16 Thus saith Yahweh—Stand ye at the ways—and see, And ask for the paths of age-past times, Where is the good way? And walk therein, And ye shall find rest to your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein]!
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, “Agtakderkayo iti nagsangaan ti dalan ket kitaenyo; damagenyo dagiti nagkauna a pagnaan. Sadino ditoy ti nasayaat a dalan?' Ket mapankayo iti daytoy ket mangsapulkayo iti lugar a paginanaanyo. Ngem kuna dagiti tattao, Saankami a mapan.'
17 Therefore will I raise up over you, watchmen, Give ye heed to the sound of a horn, —But they said, We will not give heed!
Nangdutokak kadakayo kadagiti agbantay a mangdengngeg iti tangguyob. Ngem kinunada, ' Saankaminto nga agdengngeg.
18 Therefore, hear O ye nations, —And take knowledge O assembly, Of that which befalleth them:
Ngarud, dumngegkayo, dakayo a nasion! Kitaenyo, dakayo a saksi, no anianto ti mapasamak kadakuada.
19 Hear thou—O earth, Lo! I, am bringing in Calamity against this people the fruit of their own devices, —For unto my words, have they not given heed, And as for my law, they have rejected it.
Denggem, daga! Kitaem, dandanikon iyeg ti didigra kadagitoy a tattao- ti bunga dagiti panpanunotda. Saanda nga impangag ti saok wenno ti paglintegak, ngem ketdi, linaksidda daytoy.”
20 What then is it to me that—Frankincense from Shebah come in, or Sweet cane from a land afar off? Your own ascending-offerings, are not acceptable, Nor are, your sacrifices, pleasing to me.
Ania ti serbina kaniak daytoy nga insenso a mapupuoran manipud idiay Seba? Wenno dagitoy a nasam-it nga ayamuom manipud iti adayo a daga? Saan a makaay-ayo kaniak dagiti datonyo a maipuor, uray pay dagiti sagutyo.
21 Wherefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! laying before this people, stumblingblocks, —And fathers and sons together, shall stumble against them, The neighbour and his friend, shall perish.
Isu a kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, 'Kitaem, dandaniakon a mangikabil iti maysa a pakaitibkolan a bato kadagitoy a tattao. Maitibkoldanto iti daytoy- dagiti amma ken dagiti annak a lallaki. Mapukawto met dagiti agnanaed ken dagiti kaarrubada.
22 Thus, saith Yahweh, Lo! a people coming in from the land of the North, —Yea a great nation, shall be stirred up out of the remote parts of the earth:
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, ‘Kitaem, adda tattao nga aggapu iti akin-amianan a daga nga umay. Ta nakasaganan nga umay ti dakkel a nasion manipud iti adayo a daga.
23 Bow and javelin, shall they grasp, Cruel, is he! So they will not have compassion, Their voice, like the sea, will roar, And on horses, will they ride, —Arrayed each one, like a man for battle, Against thee, O daughter of Zion!
Pidutendanto dagiti pana ken gayangda. Naulpit ken awan asida. Kasla daranudor ti baybay ti ariwawada, ken nakasakayda kadagiti kabalio a nakasagana a kas kadagiti makiranget a lallaki, dakayo nga annak a babbai ti Sion.”'
24 We have heard the report thereof, Relaxed are our hands, —Anguish, hath taken hold on us, Pangs, as on her that is giving birth.
Nangngegmi dagiti damag maipanggep kadakuada. Kimmapsut dagiti imami gapu iti tuok. Nakariknakami ti ut-ot a kas iti ut-ot ti agpaspasikal a babai.
25 Do not go out into the field, And in the road, do not walk, -Because a sword, hath the foe, —Terror round about!
Saankayo a rummuar kadagiti kataltalunan, ken saankayo a magna kadagiti kalsada, ta kampilan ti kabusor ken nakabutbuteng ti adda iti aglawlaw.
26 O daughter of my people Gird thee with sackcloth and roll thyself in ashes, —The mourning for an only son, make thou for thyself, Most bitter lamentation! For suddenly, shall the destroyer come upon us.
Anak a babai dagiti tattaok, agkaweska iti nakersang a lupot ket agtulidka iti katapukan gapu iti pannakaitabon iti bugbugtong nga anak. Agunnoyka iti nasaem a panagunnoy, ta kellaatto nga umay kadatayo ti mangdadael.
27 An assayer, have I set thee amongst my people, of gold-ore, —That thou mayest note and try their way:
”Pinagbalinka, Jeremias, a mangsubok kadagiti tattaok a kas maysa a manggugor iti landok, isu a sukimaten ken subokemto dagiti wagasda.
28 They all, are rebels of rebels, Slander-walkers [They are] bronze and iron! As for them all, corrupters, they are!
Isuda amin ket kasukiran kadagiti tattao, a mangparpardaya kadagiti dadduma. Isuda amin ket gambang ken landok, nga agtigtignay a sidadangkes.
29 Scorched are the bellows, By fire, is lead wont to be, consumed, —In vain, hath he gone on refining, For the wicked, have not been drawn out:
Napigsa ti yuboyuban tapno maparubruban ti apuy a mangguggugor kadakuada; mapupuoran ti buli iti darang. Agtultuloy ti pananggugor kadagitoy, ngem awan serserbina, gapu ta saan a naikkat ti kinadakes.
30 Rejected silver, are they called, For, Yahweh, hath rejected them.
Maawagandanto a naibelleng a pirak, ta imbelleng ida ni Yahweh.”
