< Jeremiah 3 >
1 He hath said, If a man send away his wife, and she go from him and become another man’s, will he return unto her, again? would not that land be, utterly defiled? And, thou, hast been unchaste with many neighbours, and yet [thinkest] to return unto me! Declareth Yahweh.
“Kunada, 'Adda maysa a lalaki a mangpatpatalaw iti asawana, isu a pimmanaw ti babai ket nagbalin nga asawa ti sabali a lalaki. Rumbeng kadi a sublien ti lalaki ti babai? Saan kadi a naan-anayen a narugit ti babai?' Dayta a babai ket daytoy a daga! Nagtignayka a kas iti balangkantis nga addaan iti adu a kaayan-ayat, ket ita kayatmo ti agsubli kaniak? —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
2 Lift up thine eyes unto the bare heights and see—where thou hast not been unchastely embraced! beside the ways, hast thou sat to them, like the Arabian in the desert, —and hast defiled the land with thine unchastities, and with thy wickedness.
Tumangadka ket kumitaka kadagiti tapaw dagiti turod! Sadino ti saanmo a nakikaiddaan? Nagtugawka kadagiti igid dagiti daldalan a mangur-uray kadagiti kaayan-ayatmo, a kasla ka la tulisan nga agpadpadaan idiay let-ang. Tinulawam ti daga iti kinabalangkantis ken kinadangkesmo.
3 Therefore have been withholden the showers, And, the latter rain, hath not come, —Yet the forehead of an unchaste woman, hast thou, Thou hast refused to be ashamed.
Isu a nalapdan dagiti arbis ken saan a nagtinnag ti maudi a tudo. Ngem natangsit ta rupam a kas iti rupa ti balangkantis a babai. Saanmo ng ammo ti agbain.
4 Hast thou not from this time, cried unto me, My father! the friend of my youth, art, thou?
Manipud ita a tiempo, saankanto aya nga umawag kaniak a kunam, 'Amak! Sika ti kasingedan a gayyemko manipud pay kinaagtutubok.
5 Will he maintain his anger to times age-abiding? Will he keep it perpetually? Lo! thou hast spoken thus but hast done wicked things and had thy way!
Agnanayon kadi ti ungetmo? Pagtalinaedem kadi a kanayon ti ungetmo?' Dumngegka! Impakaammom nga agaramidka iti dakes, ket inaramidmo dayta. Itultuloymo ngarud nga aramiden dayta!”
6 And Yahweh said unto me, in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen what apostate Israel, did? She used to go upon every high mountain and beneath every green tree, and commit unchastity there.
Ket kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak kadagidi aldaw ni Josias nga ari, “Makitam kadi ti panangliput ti Israel kaniak? Mapan isuna iti tunggal nangato a bantay ken iti sirok ti tunggal nalangto a kayo, ket sadiay agtignay a kasla balangkantis a babai.
7 And I said, after she had been doing all these things, Unto me, shall thou return? and she returned not, —and her treacherous sister Judah saw it!
Kinunak, 'Kalpasan a maaramidna amin dagitoy a banbanag, agsublinto isuna kaniak,' ngem saan nagsubli. Ket nakita ti nagulib a kabsatna a ni Juda ti inaramidna.
8 Though she saw that for all this, apostate Israel having committed adultery, I had sent her away, and had given a scroll of divorcement unto her, yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but, she also, went and committed unchastity.
Isu a nakitak a gapu kadagitoy amin a nakikamalala isuna. Managsukir nga Israel! Pinagtalawko isuna ket inikkak iti kasuratan ti panagsina. Ngem saan a nagbuteng ti nagulib a kabsatna a ni Juda, ket rimmuar ken nagtigtignay met a kas iti balangkantis a babai!
9 Yea though it had come to pass that through the levity of her unchastity, she had defiled the land, —and committed adultery with Stone and with Tree,
Awan aniamanna kenkuana a tinulawanna ti daga, isu a nagaramidda kadagiti bato ken kayo a didiosen.
10 yet, in spite of all this, her treacherous sister Judah returned not unto me, with all her heart, —but, falsely, Declareth Yahweh.
Ket kalpasan amin dagitoy, uray ti nagulib a kabsatna a ni Juda ket saan a nagsubli kaniak iti amin a pusona, no di ket naginsusubli! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
11 Then said Yahweh unto me, —Apostate Israel, hath justified herself, —more than treacherous Judah.
Ket kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Nalinlinteg ti mangliliput nga Israel ngem iti nagulib a Juda!
12 Go, and proclaim these words, towards the North and say—Return! thou apostate—Israel, Urgeth Yahweh, I will not lower my face against you, —for full of lovingkindness, I am, Declareth Yahweh, I will not maintain [mine anger] unto times age-abiding.
Mapanmo iwaragawag daytoy iti amianan. Kunaem, ''Agsublika, sika a mangliliput nga Israel! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—saanakto a kanayon a makaunget kenka. Agsipud ta napudnoak—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—saanak nga agnanayon a makaunget.”
13 Only, acknowledge thine iniquity, that against Yahweh thy God, hast thou transgressed, —and hast gone hither and thither unto foreigners under every green tree, and unto my voice, ye have not hearkened Declareth Yahweh.
Bigbigem ti basolmo, ta nagbasolka kenni Yahweh a Diosmo; nakinaigka kadagiti ganggannaet iti sirok dagiti nalalangto a kayo! Ta saanmo nga impangag ti timekko! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
14 Return, ye apostate sons, Urgeth Yahweh, for, I, am become your husband, —therefore will I take you one of a city, and two of a family, and will bring you to Zion;
Agsublikayo, dakayo a saan a napudno a tattao! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ta inasawakayo! Mangalaak kadakayo iti maysa manipud iti tunggal siudad, dua manipud iti tunggal puli, ket ipankayo idiay Sion!
15 and will give you shepherds according to mine own heart, —who will feed you with knowledge and discretion.
Ikkankayto kadagiti agpaspastor nga iti pagayatanna ket ti pagayatak, ken idalandakayonto nga addaan iti pannakaammo ken kinasirib.
16 And it shall come to pass when ye shall be multiplied and become fruitful in the land, in those days, Declareth Yahweh, They shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Neither shall it come up on the heart, Neither shall they remember it, Neither shall they miss it, Neither shall it be made any more.
Ket mapasamakto, nga umadu ken maaddaankayonto iti adu a kaputotan iti daytoy a daga kadagidiay nga al-aldaw—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh. Saandanton nga ibaga, “Ti lakasa ti tulag ni Yahweh!” Saandanton a malagip daytoy, ta saandanto a panunoten ti maipanggep iti daytoy wenno ikaskaso daytoy. Daytoy a sao ket saanton a maibaga pay.'
17 At that time, shall they call Jerusalem, The throne of Yahweh, and there shall be gathered unto her all the nations—to the Name of Yahweh, to Jerusalem; and they shall walk no more after the stubbornness of their own wicked heart.
Iti dayta a tiempo, iwaragawagdanto maipanggep iti Jerusalem, 'Daytoy ti trono ni Yahweh,' ket aguummongto dagiti amin a nasion idiay Jerusalem iti nagan ni Yahweh. Saandanton nga aramiden dagiti dakes a tartarigagayanda.
18 In those days, shall the house of Judah go unto the house of Israel, —that they may enter together out of the land of the North, upon the land which I gave as an inheritance unto your fathers.
Kadagidiay nga aldaw, makipagkaykaysanto ti balay ti Juda iti balay ti Israel. Agkuyogdanto nga umay manipud iti daga iti amianan ket mapanda iti daga nga intedko a kas tawid kadagiti kapuonanyo.
19 Though, I myself, had said, —How can I put thee among the sons, And give thee a land to be coveted, An inheritance of beauty, of the hosts of nations? Yet I said, My father, shalt thou call me, And away from me, shalt thou not turn.
No kaniak, kinunak, 'Kayatka a padayawan a kas anakko a lalaki ken ikkanka iti nasayaat a daga, maysa a tawid a napinpintas ngem iti adda iti sadinnoman a nasion!' Imbagak koma nga, 'Awagandak nga “amak”.' Imbagak koma a saankanto a sumina iti panangsurotmo kaniak.
20 But indeed [as] a wife goeth treacherously from her husband, so, have ye acted treacherously with me, O house of Israel, Declareth Yahweh.
Ngem kas iti babai a saan a napudno iti asawana, liniputannak, sika a balay ti Israel—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
21 A voice on the bare heights, is heard, The weeping of the supplications of the sons of Israel, —Because they have perverted their way, Have forgotten Yahweh their God.
“Adda ariwawa a mangngeg kadagiti patad, ti panagsangit ken panagpakaasi dagiti tattao ti Israel! Ta binaliwanda dagiti wagasda; nalipatandak, Siak a ni Yahweh a Diosda.
22 Return ye apostate sons, I will heal your apostasies! Behold us! we have come unto thee, For thou, art Yahweh our God.
Agsublikayo, dakayo a tattao a nangtallikud iti Apo! Paimbagenkayo iti kinamanangallilawyo!” “Adtoy! Umaykami kenka, ta sika ni Yahweh a Diosmi!
23 Surely, to falsehood, pertain the hills The noisy throng on the mountains, —Surely, in Yahweh our God, is the salvation of Israel!
Ulbod laeng ti agtaud kadagiti turod, manipud kadagiti adu a bantay. Pudno a ti pannakaisalakan ti Israel ket adda laeng kenni Yahweh a Diostayo.
24 But, the Shameful thing, hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth: Their flocks, and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
Ngem dagiti nakababain a didiosen ket inalun-onda dagiti nagbannogan dagiti kapuonantayo— dagiti arban iti karnero ken bakada, dagiti annakda a lallaki ken babbai!
25 We must lie down in our shame And our reproach, be our covering, For, against Yahweh our God, have we sinned, We and our fathers, from our youth even until this day, —Neither have we hearkened unto the voice of Yahweh our God.
Agiddatayo a sibabain. Abbongannatayo koma ti pannakaibabaintayo, ta nagbasoltayo kenni Yahweh a Diostayo! Datayo a mismo ken dagiti kapuonantayo, manipud idi tiempo ti kinaagtutubotayo agingga kadagitoy nga agdama nga aldaw, saantayo a dimngeg iti timek ni Yahweh a Diostayo!”
