Jeremiah 28
1 And it came to pass in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year in the fifth month, that Hananiah son of Azzur the prophet who was of Gibeon, spake unto me, in the house of Yahweh, before the eyes of the priests and all the people, saying:
Nahitabo kini niadtong tuig, sa pagsugod sa paghari ni Zedekia ang hari sa Juda, sa ikaupat nga tuig ug sa ikalima nga bulan, si Hanania ang anak nga lalaki ni Azur nga propeta, nga naggikan sa Gibeon, nakigsulti kanako didto sa balay ni Yahweh sa atubangan sa mga pari ug sa tanang katawhan. Miingon siya,
2 Thus speaketh Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel saying, —I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon:
“Si Yahweh nga makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel, misulti niini: Akong gibuak ang yugo nga gibutang sa hari sa Babilonia.
3 within the space of two years, I am bringing back into this place, all the vessels of the house of Yahweh, —which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, hath taken away from this place, and carried into Babylon.
Sulod sa duha ka tuig akong dad-on pagbalik niining dapita ang tanang mga butang nga iya sa balay ni Yahweh nga gidala ni Nebucadnezar ang hari sa Babilonia nga gikuha gikan niining dapita ug gidala didto sa Babilonia.
4 Jeconiah also, son of Jehoiakim king of Judah with all the captives of Judah who have entered Babylon, am I bringing back into this place Declareth Yahweh, —for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
Unya akong dad-on pagbalik niining dapita si Jehoyakin ang anak nga lalaki ni Jehoyakim, ang hari sa Juda, ug ang tanan nga mga binihag sa Juda nga gipadala ngadto sa Babilonia—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—kay akong gub-on ang yugo sa hari sa Babilonia.”
5 Then said Jeremiah the prophet, unto Hananiah the prophet, in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people, who were standing in the house of Yahweh,
Busa si propeta Jeremias nakigsulti kang Hanania nga propeta sa atubangan sa mga pari ug sa tanan nga katawhan nga mitindog sa atubangan sa balay ni Yahweh.
6 then said Jeremiah the prophet, —Amen! So, may Yahweh do! Yahweh establish thy words which thou hast prophesied by bringing back the vessels of the house of Yahweh and all them of the captivity, from Babylon unto this place.
Miingon ang propeta nga si Jeremias, “Buhaton unta kini ni Yahweh! Ipamatuod unta ni Yahweh ang mga pulong nga imong nagpropesiya ug dad-on pagbalik niining dapita ang mga butang nga iya sa balay ni Yahweh, ug ang tanang binihag nga gikan sa Babilonia.
7 Nevertheless hear thou I pray thee, this word, which I am speaking in thine ears, —and in the ears of all the people:
Apan, paminawa ang pulong nga akong gipahayag sa imong igdulungog ug sa igdulungog sa tanan nga katawhan.
8 The prophets who were before me and before thee, from age-past times when they prophesied against many lands and concerning great kingdoms, of war and of calamity and of pestilence,
Ang mga propeta nga anaa nang daan sa wala pa ako ug ikaw nagpropesiya nang daan mahitungod sa daghang mga nasod ug batok sa gamhanang mga gingharian, mahitungod sa gubat, kagutom, ug katalagman.
9 the prophet who prophesied of peace when the word of the prophet was fulfilled, then was known the prophet, whom Yahweh had sent in truth.
Busa ang propeta nga nagpropesiya nga adunay kalinaw—kung mahitabo ang iyang pulong, unya masayran kini nga siya gayod ang propeta nga gipadala ni Yahweh.”
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, —and brake it.
Apan gikuha ni propeta Hanania ang yugo gikan sa liog ni propeta Jeremias ug giguba kini.
11 And Hananiah spake before the eyes of all the people saying, Thus, saith Yahweh, —In like manner, will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, within the space of two years, from off the neck of all the nations, And Jeremiah the prophet went his way.
Unya nagsulti si Hanania sa atubangan sa tanang katawhan ug miingon, “Miingon si Yahweh niini: ingon niini, sulod sa duha ka tuig akong gubaon gikan sa liog sa matag nasod ang yugo nga gisangon ni Nebucadnezar nga hari sa Babilonia.” Unya mibiya ang propeta nga si Jeremias.
12 Then came the word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying:
Human gubaa ni Hanania nga propeta ang yugo gikan sa liog ni Jeremias nga propeta, ang pulong ni Yahweh miabot kang Jeremias, nga nag-ingon,
13 Go and speak unto Hananiah saying—Thus, saith Yahweh, Yokes of wood, thou hast broken, —But thou shalt make, in their stead yokes of iron!
“Lakaw ug sultihi si Hanania, nga miingon si Yahweh niini: Giguba mo ang yugo nga kahoy, apan magbuhat ako ug puthaw nga yugo.'
14 For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts God of Israel, —A yoke of iron, have I put upon the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, Moreover also the wild beast of the field, have I given to him.
Kay miingon niini si Yahweh nga makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel: Akong isangon ang yugo nga puthaw sa liog sa tanang kanasoran aron mag-alagad kang Nebucadnezar nga hari sa Babilonia, ug mag-alagad sila kaniya. Hatagan ko usab siya ug ihalas nga mga mananap didto sa kaumahan nga ilalom sa iyang pagmando.”
15 Then said Jeremiah the prophet unto Hananiah the prophet, —Hear I pray thee, Hananiah: Yahweh hath not sent thee, Thou, therefore hast caused this people to trust in falsehood!
Unya miingon ang propeta nga si Jeremias ngadto kang propeta Hanania, “Paminaw Hanania! Wala ikaw gipadala ni Yahweh, apan imong gipatuo kining katawhan sa mga bakak.
16 Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! driving thee away from off the face of the ground, —This year, art thou to die, Because revolt, hast thou spoken against Yahweh.
Busa miingon si Yahweh niini: Tan-awa, ipadala ko ikaw gawas sa kalibotan. Mamatay ka karong tuiga, tungod kay imo mang gipahayag ang pagsupak batok kang Yahweh.”
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year, in the seventh month.
Sa ikapito ka bulan sa samang tuig, namatay ang propeta nga si Hanania.
