Jeremiah 25
1 The word which came upon Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, —the same, was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
೧ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಕೀಮನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಂದರೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ,
2 which word Jeremiah the prophet spake concerning all the people of Judah, and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem saying: —
೨ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಈ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಕಲ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರಿಗೂ ಸಾರಿದನು.
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah even until this day, the which is the twenty-third year, hath the word of Yahweh come unto me; and I have spoken unto you, betimes, speaking, yet have ye not hearkened.
೩ಆತನು, “ಆಮೋನನ ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹದಿಮೂರನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
4 And Yahweh sent unto you all, his servants the prophets, betimes sending, though ye hearkened not, neither inclined ye your ear to hear:
೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀವು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
5 saying, —Return I pray you every one from his wicked way and from the wickedness of your doings, So shall ye remain on the soil which Yahweh hath given to you and to your fathers, —even from age to age;
೫ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿರಿ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
6 But do not go away after other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, —So shall ye not provoke me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will not bring calamity upon you;
೬ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ, ಸೇವಿಸಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂಬುದೇ.
7 Howbeit ye hearkened not unto me, Declareth Yahweh, —that ye might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands unto your own hurt.
೭ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀವೇ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8 Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, —Because ye have not heard my words,
೮ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಈ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳದ ಕಾರಣ ಇಗೋ,
9 Behold me! sending and fetching all the families of the North, Declareth Yahweh and Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon my servant, And I will bring them in against this land and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations, round about, —And I will devote them to destruction, and make them an astonishment and a hissing, and age-abiding desolations.
೯ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಆದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಈ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೂ, ಇದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ ಬೀಳಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಾ ಹಾಳುಗೈದು, ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ, ನಿತ್ಯನಾಶನಕ್ಕೂ ಈಡುಮಾಡುವೆನು.
10 And I will banish from among them—The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, The voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, —The sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp:
೧೦ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಸಂಭ್ರಮಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನೂ, ವಧೂವರರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೂ, ಬೀಸುವ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನೂ, ದೀಪದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು.
11 So shall all this land become a desolation, an astonishment, And these nations shall serve the king of Babylon, seventy years.
೧೧ಈ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಬೆರಗಿಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವುದು; ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವವು.
12 And it shall some to pass—When the seventy years are fulfilled, I will visit upon the king of Babylon and upon that nation, Declareth Yahweh their iniquity, and upon the land of the Chaldeans, —and I will turn it into age-abiding desolations.
೧೨ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ದ್ರೋಹಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಸಿ, ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
13 So will I bring upon that land, All my words which I have spoken against it, —Even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
೧೩ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಡಿದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
14 For many nations and great kings have used, even them, as slaves, So will I recompense to them—According to their deed and According to the work of their own hands.
೧೪ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾರಾಜರೂ ಅವರನ್ನೇ ಅಡಿಯಾಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಅವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
15 For, thus, said Yahweh, God of Israel unto me, Take this cup of indignation wine out of my hand, —and cause all the nations unto whom I am sending thee, to drink it:
೧೫ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, “ರೋಷರೂಪ ಮದ್ಯದ ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೋ ಆ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು.
16 Yea they shall drink and reel to and fro and act as madmen, because of the sword which I am sending between them.
೧೬ನಾನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕುಡಿದು ಓಲಾಡುವರು, ಹುಚ್ಚುಚ್ಚಾಗುವರು” ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
17 So I took the cup out of the hand of Yahweh, —and caused all the nations unto whom Yahweh had sent me to drink:
೧೭ಆಗ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನೋ, ಆ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
18 [to wit said he] —Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and her kings her princes, —making them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a contempt, as at this day;
೧೮ಅದನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ, ಅರಸರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೂ ಕುಡಿಸಿದೆನು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಯಿತು.
19 Pharaoh king of Egypt and his servants and his princes, and all his people;
೧೯ಅದು ಈ ದಿನ ನೆರವೇರಿದೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನು, ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು, ಪ್ರಧಾನರು, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು,
20 And all the Bedawin, and all the kings of the land of Uz, —and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, even Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;
೨೦ಬಗೆಬಗೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದೇಶೀಯರು, ಊಚ್ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನ್, ಗಾಜಾ, ಎಕ್ರೋನ್, ಹಾಳಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅಷ್ಡೋದ್,
21 Edom and Moab, and the sons of Ammon;
೨೧ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರು,
22 And all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Zidon, —and the kings of the Coastland, that is beyond the sea;
೨೨ತೂರಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಚೀದೋನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಆಚೆಯ ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಅರಸರು,
23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all the clipt-beards;
೨೩ದೆದಾನ್ಯರು, ತೇಮಾ ದೇಶದವರು, ಬೂಜ್ ದೇಶದವರು, ಚಂಡಿಕೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು,
24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the Bedawin, who dwell in the desert;
೨೪ಅರಬಿಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಮಿಶ್ರಜಾತಿಯವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು,
25 And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;
೨೫ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಮೇದ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು,
26 And all the kings of the North, the near and the far every man with his brother, and all the kingdoms of the earth which are on the face of the ground; And the king of Sheshach, shall drink, after them.
೨೬ದೂರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೀಪವಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅರಸರು, ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಕಲರಾಜ್ಯಗಳವರು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕುಡಿಸು; ಇವರು ಕುಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶೇಷಕಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಕುಡಿಯಲಿ ಎಂಬುದೇ ನನಗಾದ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ.
27 Therefore shalt thou say unto them—Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts God of Israel, —Drink ye and be drunken, and vomit, and fall and rise not, —because of the sword which I am sending between you.
೨೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನಗೆ ಈ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಯಿತು, ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನುಡಿಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು; ಆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಅಮಲೇರಿದವರಾಗಿ ಕಕ್ಕಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಏಳದಿರಿ.”
28 And it shall be when they shall refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them—Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Ye shall certainly drink;
೨೮ಅವರು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಕ್ಕೂ, ಕುಡಿಯಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಕೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, “ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನೀವು ಕುಡಿಯಲೇ ಬೇಕು.
29 For lo! with the city on which my Name hath been called, am I making a beginning of sending calamity, And shall, ye, be held, guiltless? Ye shall not be held guiltless: For a sword, am I proclaiming against all the inhabitants of the earth, Declareth Yahweh of hosts.
೨೯ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಧಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀವು ಆ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀರೋ? ಆಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಖಡ್ಗವೇ, ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವೆನು. ಇದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿ.
30 Thou, therefore, shalt prophesy against them all these words, —and shalt say unto them—Yahweh, from on high, will roar Yea from his holy habitation, will utter his voice, He will, roar mightily over his home, With a shout as of them who tread the winepress, will he answer unto all the inhabitants of the earth.
೩೦ಇಂತಿರಲು ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉನ್ನತಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಘನನಿವಾಸದಿಂದ ಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುವನು. ಆತನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಹುಲ್ಗಾವಲಿನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸುವನು. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತುಳಿಯುವವರು ಕೂಗಾಡುವಂತೆ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಭಯಂಕರನಾಗಿ ಕೂಗುವನು.
31 There hath come in a tumult as far as the end of the earth, For a controversy, hath Yahweh with the nations, Himself, hath entered into judgment with all flesh, —As for the lawless, he hath delivered them to the sword Declareth Yahweh.
೩೧ಆ ಶಬ್ದವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸುವುದು, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವುಂಟಷ್ಟೆ, ಅವನು ನರಜನ್ಮದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವನು” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
32 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, Lo calamity! going forth from nation to nation, —And a great tempest, shall bestirred up, out of the remote parts of the earth.
೩೨ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು, “ಆಹಾ, ಕೇಡು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಡುವುದು; ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಎದ್ದು ಬರುವುದು.
33 Then shall the slain of Yahweh in that day, be from one end of the earth, even unto the other end of the earth, —They shall not be lamented, nor gathered together nor buried, As dung, on the face of the ground, shall they serve.
೩೩ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರು ಲೋಕದ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವರು; ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾರೂ ಗೋಳಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರು ಹೂಣಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೊಬ್ಬರವಾಗುವರು.
34 Howl ye shepherds and make outcry, And roll in the dust ye illustrious of the flock, Because your days for being slaughtered, are fulfilled, —Therefore will I break you in pieces, and ye shall fall like a precious vessel!
೩೪ಕುರುಬರೇ, ಅರಚಿ ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಮಂದೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರೇ, ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೊರಳಾಡಿರಿ! ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಧಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವು ಬಂದಿದೆ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸುವೆನು; ನೀವು ಬಿದ್ದು ಒಡೆದುಹೋದ ಅಂದವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಂತೆ ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗುವಿರಿ.
35 Then shall place of refuge vanish from the shepherds, And escape from the illustrious of the flock.
೩೫ಕುರುಬರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಸಿಕ್ಕದು, ಮಂದೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದ ದೊರೆಯದು.
36 The voice of the outcry of the shepherds! Yea the howling of the illustrious of the flock!—Because Yahweh is laying waste the grounds where they fed.
೩೬ಆಹಾ, ಕುರುಬರ ಕೂಗಾಟ! ಮಂದೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ನಾಯಕರ ಅರಚಾಟ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಹುಲ್ಗಾವಲನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ.
37 Then shall be silenced the prosperous pastures, —Because of the fierceness of the anger of Yahweh.
೩೭ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಯಬ್ದವಾಗಿವೆ.
38 He hath left as a lion his covert, For their land hath become a horror, Because of the fierceness of oppression and Because of the fierceness of his anger.
೩೮ಆತನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಗವಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಆತನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಬೆರಗಿಗೆ ಈಡಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
