Jeremiah 19
1 Thus said Yahweh, Go and buy a potter’s earthen bottle, —and take of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests;
Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Lakaw, ug pumalit ka ug bodigos sa magkokolon, ug magkuha ka sa mga anciano sa katawohan ug sa mga anciano sa mga sacerdote;
2 Then shalt thou go forth into the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is at the opening of the gate of potsherds; and proclaim there the words which I shall speak unto thee;
Ug umadto ka sa walog sa anak ni Hinnom, nga anaa sa pagsulod mo sa ganghaan sa Harsith, ug imantala didto ang mga pulong nga akong igaingon kanimo;
3 and shalt say, —Hear ye the word of Yahweh, O kings of Judah And inhabitants of Jerusalem, —Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts—God of Israel Behold me! bringing in calamity upon this place, which shall cause the ears of every one that heareth it, to tingle:
Ug imingon ka: Pamati kamo sa pulong ni Jehova, Oh mga hari sa Juda, ug mga pumoluyo sa Jerusalem: Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova sa mga panon, ang Dios sa Israel: Ania karon, ako magpadala ug kadaut ibabaw niining dapita, nga bisan kinsa nga mamati niini mosiyok ang iyang igdulungog.
4 Because they have forsaken me, And have treated this as a foreign place, And have burned incense therein to other gods, which neither they, nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah, have known; And have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
Tungod kay sila mingbiya kanako, ug mipahilayo niining dapita, ug nagsunog ug incienso niini alang sa mga laing dios nga wala nila hiilhi, sila gayud ug ang ilang mga amahan ug ang mga hari sa Juda, ug kining dapita gipuno sa dugo sa mga inocente,
5 And have built the high places of Baal for burning up their sons in the fire as ascending-sacrifices to Baal, —Which I commanded not, Nor spake, Neither came it up on my heart,
Ug mingtukod usab sila sa mga hatag-as nga dapit ni Baal, aron sa pagsunog sa ilang mga anak nga lalake diha sa kalayo alang sa mga halad-nga-sinunog kang Baal; nga wala man nako isugo kanila, ni kini maghisgut ako mahitungod niini, ni misantop sa akong hunahuna:
6 Therefore, lo! days coming, Declareth Yahweh, When this place shall be called no longer The Topheth, or The Valley of Ben-hinnom, —but—The Valley of Slaughter;
Busa, ania karon, ang mga adlaw miabut na, nagaingon si Jehova, nga kining dapita dili na pagatawgon nga Topheth, ni Ang walog sa anak ni Hinnom, kondili pagatawgon na Ang walog nga Ihawan.
7 And I will pour out the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, And I will cause them to fall by the sword, before their enemies, and by the hand of them who seek their life, —
Ug wad-on ko ang tambag sa Juda ug sa Jerusalem niining dapita; ug akong ipapukan sila sa pinuti sa atubangan sa ilang mga kaaway, ug sa kamot niadtong nanagpangita sa ilang kinabuhi: ug ang ilang mga minatay ihatag ko nga kalan-on sa kalanggaman sa kalangitan, ug sa kamananapan sa yuta.
8 And I will give their dead bodies for food, to the bird of the heavens and to the beast of the earth; And I will make this city a desolation and a hissing, —every one that passeth by it, shall be astonished and hiss over all her wounds;
Ug kining ciudara himoon ko nga usa nga makapahibulong, ug pagasitsitan uban ang pagbiaybiay; ang tagsatagsa nga moagi niana mahibulong ug magasitsit uban ang pagbiaybiay tungod sa tanang mga hampak nga mingdangat niana.
9 And I will suffer them to eat the flesh of their sons, and the flesh of their daughters, yea every one—the flesh of his friend, will they eat, —in the siege and in the straitness, wherewith, their enemies, and they who seek their lives, will straiten them.
Ug akong ipakaon kanila ang unod sa ilang mga anak nga lalake ug ang unod sa ilang mga anak nga babaye; ug sila managkaon ang tagsatagsa sa unod sa iyang higala, sa panahon nga pagalibutan ug pagasakiton sila sa ilang mga kaaway, ug kadtong nanagpangita sa ilang kinabuhi managsakit na kanila.
10 Then shalt thou break the bottle, before the eyes of the men who are walking with thee;
Unya buakon mo ang bodigos sa atubangan sa mga tawo nga manguban kanimo.
11 and shalt say unto them—Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts—Thus and thus, will I break this people, and this city, As one breaketh the vessel of a potter, which cannot be made whole any more, —And in Topheth, shall they bury, for want of place to bury.
Ug moingon ka kanila: Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova sa mga panon: Sa ingon niini dugmokon ko kini nga katawohan ug kining ciudara, sama sa usa nga nagadugmok sa kolon sa magkokolon nga dili na matibuok pag-usab: ug ilang ilubong sa Topheth, hangtud nga wala nay luna nga kalubngan.
12 Thus, will I do to this place Declareth Yahweh, And to the inhabitants thereof, —Even making this city like Topheth:
Mao kini ang pagabuhaton ko niining dapita, nagaingon si Jehova, ug sa mga pumoluyo niana, ug bisan pa ngani himoon ko kining ciudara nga sama sa Topheth:
13 Yea, the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall like the place of Topheth, be places defiled, —even all the houses upon whose roofs they burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and poured out drink-offerings to other gods.
Ug ang mga balay sa Jerusalem, ug ang mga balay sa mga hari sa Juda, nga mga nahugawan, mamahimong sama sa dapit sa Topheth, bisan pa ang tanang mga balay sa kang kansang mga atop sila nanagsunog ug incienso alang sa tanang panon sa langit, ug nanagbubo ug mga halad-nga-ilimnon sa laing mga dios.
14 Then entered Jeremiah out of Topheth, whither Yahweh had sent him to prophesy, —and stood in the court of the house of Yahweh, and said unto all the people:
Unya miabut si Jeremias gikan sa Topheth, diin si Jehova nagpaadto kaniya sa pagpanagna; ug siya mitindog sa sawang sa balay ni Jehova, ug miingon sa tibook katawohan:
15 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, Behold me! brining in against this city, and upon all the cities thereof, The whole calamity which I have pronounced against her, —Because they stiffened their neck, that they might not hear my words.
Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova sa mga panon, ang Dios sa Israel: Ania karon, igapadala ko niining ciudara ug sa tanang mga lungsod niana, ang tanang kadautan nga gibungat ko batok kaniya; tungod kay gipatikig nila ang ilang mga liog, aron sila dili makadungog sa akong mga pulong.
