Jeremiah 11
1 The word that came unto Jeremiah from Yahweh saying:
Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i,
2 Hear ye the words of this covenant, —and speak ye unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
“Na Gousa: su ea sema noga: le nabima. Yuda soge fi amola Yelusaleme fi ilima amane sia: ma,
3 and say thou unto them, Thus, saith Yahweh God of Israel, —Accursed, is the man who will not hear the words of this covenant;
‘Na, Isala: ili ilia Hina Gode, da nowa da Na Gousa: su ea sema nabawane hame hamobe, ilima Na da gagabusu aligima: ne ilegei.
4 which I commanded your fathers—in the day when I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt out of the smelting-pot of iron—saying, Hearken unto my voice and do them, According to all that I may command you, —So shall ye become my people, And, I, will become, your God:
Amo Gousa: su Na da ilia aowalalia ilima hamoi. Amo esoha, Na da ili Idibidi sogega fisili masa: ne, ga asunasi. (Bai Idibidi soge da ilima lalu bagade defele galu.) Na da ilima ilia Na sia: nabima: ne, amola Na sia: i liligi huluane nabawane hamoma: ne sia: i. Ilia da nabasu hou hamoi ganiaba, ilia da Na fi dunu esalala: loba amola Na da ilia Gode esalala: loba, Na sia: i.
5 That the oath may be established which I sware to your fathers, To give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day. Then answered I and said, Amen, O Yahweh!
Amola Na da ilia aowalalia ilima sia: ilegei (amo da ilima nasegagi soge ilia waha gagusa, ilima ima: ne sia: i), amo dafawane imunu sia: i.” Na da amane sia: i, “Ama! Hina Gode.”
6 And Yahweh said unto me, —Proclaim thou all, these words, throughout the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem saying, —Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them,
Amalalu, Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i, “Yuda moilai amola Yelusaleme logo amoga masa. Na sia: amo alofele olelema. Na fi dunu ilima ilia da Na Gousa: su sema nabalu, nabawane hamoma: ne sia: ma.
7 For I, solemnly took your fathers to witness, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt—even until this day, betimes, taking them to witness saying, —Hearken ye unto my voice.
Na da ilia aowalalia dunu Idibidi sogega fisili masa: ne asunasili, Na da ilima Na sia: nabawane hamoma: ne sia: i. Amola eso huluane Na da ilima sisasu olelelalu, amogainini wali eso doaga: i.
8 Howbeit they hearkened not neither inclined their ear, but walked severally in the stubbornness of their wicked heart, —so then I brought upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.
Be ilia da hamedafa nabi. Be Na sia: mae dawa: le, ilia dogo ga: nasili, wadela: i hou hamonanu. Na da ilima Na Gousa: su noga: le ouligima: ne sia: i, be ilia da higa: i. Amaiba: le, Na da se iasu huluane amo Gousa: su ganodini gala, amo huluane ilima i.
9 Yahweh therefore said unto me, —There is found a conspiracy, among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem:
Amalalu, Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i, “Yuda fi dunu amola Yelusaleme dunu da Nama odoga: musa: , wamowane sia: daha.
10 They have turned back unto the iniquities of their first fathers who refused to hear my words, yea, they themselves, have walked after other gods to serve them, —the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I solemnised with their fathers.
Ilia aowalalia da Na sia: nabawane hamomu higa: i. Amola waha fi ilia da ilia aowalalia wadela: i hou musa: hamoi, amoma sinidigi dagoi. Ilia da ogogosu hisu ‘gode’ ilima sia: ne gadosu. Na da ilia aowalalia ilima Gousa: su hamoi. Be Isala: ili fi amola Yuda fi, ilia da amo gousa: su wadela: lesi dagoi.
11 Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! bringing upon them calamity, which they shall not be able to escape, —and though they make outcry unto me, yet will I not hearken unto them.
Amaiba: le, wali Na, Hina Gode, da ilima sisasa. Na da ili wadela: lesimusa: hamomu. Amola ilia da hobeale masunu hamedei ba: mu. Amola ilia da Nama fidima: ne wele sia: sea, Na da ilia sia: hame nabimu.
12 Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, go and make outcry unto the gods to whom they have been burning incense, —but they will not at all, save, them in the time of their calamity;
Amasea, Yuda dunu amola Yelusaleme dunu da ogogosu ‘gode’ (ilima ilia nodone gobele sala), amoma ili fidima: ne wele sia: na masunu. Be amo wadela: su hou da ilima doaga: sea, ilia ogogosu ‘gode’ da ili fidimu hamedei ba: mu.
13 for according to the number of thy cities, have become thy gods O Judah, —and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem, have ye set up altars to the Shameful thing, altars for burning incense to Baal.
Yuda dunu ilia ogogosu ‘gode’ idi da ilia moilai bai bagade ilia idi defele ba: sa. Amola Yelusaleme dunu ilia oloda, amo ledodafa ‘gode’ Ba: iele ema gobele salasu hamomusa: gagui, amo idi da Yelusaleme ea logo huluane ilia idi defele ba: sa.
14 Thou, therefore do not pray for this people, Neither lift thou up for them cry or prayer, —For I am not going to hear in the time that they cry unto me concerning their calamity.
Yelemaia! Na da amo dunu fidima: ne, Nama mae sia: ne gadoma, amola mae edegema! Ilia da bidi hamosu ba: beba: le, Nama fidima: ne wele sia: sea, Na da ilia adole ba: su hame nabimu.’”
15 Why hath the beloved in mine own house, done an abomination? Shall, vows and holy flesh, take away from thee thy wickednesses, or shalt thou by these, escape?
Hina Gode da amane sia: sa, “Na da Na fi dunuma asigisa. Be ilia da wadela: le hamosa. Ilia da Na Debolo diasu golili masunu da defea hame. Ilia da adi dawa: bela: ? Ilia da udigili sia: ilegesea amola ohe fi gobele salasea, wadela: su hame ba: ma: bela: ? Ilia da amoga hahawane ba: ma: bela: ? Hame mabu!
16 A green olive-tree, fair with goodly fruit, did Yahweh call thy name, —with the noise of a great tumult, hath he kindled fire upon it, and the branches thereof shall be broken.
Na da musa: ilima fedege agoane ilima ‘olife’ ifa amo da lubi noga: idafa amola fage bagohame legei, amo dio ilima asuli. Be wali, gugelebe ea gobe defele, Na da wele sia: mu amola amo olife ifa ea lubi diogona: ne nemu, amola ea amoda fimu.
17 But, Yahweh of hosts, who planted thee hath pronounced against thee calamity, —on account of the wickedness of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah which they have wrought for themselves, provoking me to anger by burning incense to Baal.
Na, Hina Gode Bagadedafa, da Isala: ili amola Yuda sagai dagoi. Be wali Na da ili wadela: musa: magagisa. Ilisu da amo wadela: su hou lai dagoi. Bai ilia da wadela: le hamoi. Ilia da Ba: ielema gobele salasu hou hamoiba: le, Na da ougi bagade ba: sa.”
18 Now when Yahweh, let me know and I did know, then, didst thou shew me their doings.
Hina Gode da na ha lai dunu da na medole legemusa: sia: dalebe amo Gode Hi nama olelei.
19 But, I, was as a gentle lamb that is to be led to the slaughter, —and I knew not that against me, they had devised devices [saying] —Let us destroy the tree with its fruit Yea let us cut him off out of the land of the living, And, his name, shall be remembered no more!
Be na da hahawane mae dawa: iwane sibi mano amo dunu ilia medole legemusa: gadili gaguli ahoa, amo defele esala. Ilia da na wadela: musa: ilegelalu, na da hame dawa: i. Ilia da amane sia: dalu, “Ifa da gaheba: le, abimu da defea. Dunu eno da fa: no amo dunu maedafa dawa: ma: ne, ninia da wali medole legemu da defea.”
20 But, O Yahweh of hosts Who judgest righteously, Who triest affections and intellect, —Let me see thine avenging upon them, For unto thee, have I revealed my cause.
Amalalu, na da amane sia: ne gadoi, “Hina Gode Bagadedafa! Di da moloidafa fofada: su dunu! Di da dunu ilia asigi dawa: su amola ilia hanai huluane adoba: lala. Na da na hou huluane Dia lobo da: iya ligisi. Amaiba: le, na ba: ma: ne, Dia amo dunu dabema.”
21 Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh Concerning the men of Anathoth, who are seeking thy life, saying, —Thou shalt not prophesy in the name of Yahweh, So shalt thou not die by our hand:
A: nadode dunu da na medole legemusa: hanai galu. Ilia da nama amane sia: i, “Di da mae fisili, Hina Gode Ea Sia: olelesea, ninia da di medole legemu.”
22 Therefore, Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, —Behold me! bringing punishment upon them, The young men, shall die by the sword, Their sons and their daughters, shall die by famine;
Amaiba: le, Hina Gode Bagadedafa da amane sia: i, “Na da ilima se imunu. Ilia ayeligi da gegesu ganodini medole legei dagoi ba: mu. Ilia mano da ha: beba: le, bogomu.
23 And remnant, shall they have none, —For I will bring calamity against the men of Anathoth, in the year of their visitation.
Na da A: nadode dunu wadela: lesimusa: , eso ilegei dagoi. Amo eso da doaga: sea, dunu afae mae bogole esalebe da hamedafa ba: mu.”
